Great nostalgic restaurant with great food. This place has been around since 1992 and I hadn’t been since the late 1990’s. I went back in June of 2024 so it was a nice travel back in time for me. Great grande chicken burrito with more chicken than you get in a popular chain burrito 🌯 place. Chips good too made fresh. Cute decor with indoor/outdoor seating, free iced water, and a discount for using cash. Skip the chain Mexican food places and try it.

Really low-key, lovely place with good beverages, an array of pastries, and a friendly barista! Its a great place to study, do some work, or visit with friends before or after doing a hike on the nearby trail.

Food was delicious. Had the fish burrito & a blackened shrimp taco. The fish burrito was solid but the blackened shrimp taco was definitely the highlight of my meal. The way it was prepared and seasoned was phenomenal and I’d definitely recommend to give this place a shot if you’re in Calabasas. The prices are fair given the area. They also were open on Christmas Day which definitely saved my stomach when I was super hungry after a long day in Malibu.

We were next door doing laundry and decided to walk over for a few tacos while we waited. Boy was that the right choice! The tacos are really good. They are not super fancy but definitely a must have. I got the steak tacos and the meat was good quality, not all gristle or fat like some taco places do. The shell was covered in a yummy Parmesan coating. It was very unique and good. Definitely recommend the tacos.

I was driving from LA to Santa Ynez and needed something quick. I ordered a breakfast burrito which was described as having hash browns, onions, bell pepper, cheese and sour cream. I received a burrito with no seasoning, no bell pepper and no onion. There were no hash browns, just huge chunks of mushy potatoes also without seasoning. I ordered it without cheese but I was still expecting the bell pepper and onion as described on the menu. $14.14 after tip for potatoes and eggs in a tortilla. I also ordered a drip coffee that was cold. Such a waste of $20. So disappointed.

Two businesses in one place.The coffee place was perfect, good coffee and very nice waiter!The restaurant was BAD.No smiles from the waiter, no serving, the food was terrible and the diet coke tasted like chlorine!The forks and knives are made of plastic, but are so cheap that they are impossible to Eat with!

Terrific local place for quality Mexican food. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Pam has owned this place a long time and has really instilled a tradition of quality in all of her employees. Very friendly service too!Go in for a great breakfast burrito. If they have the ingredients, they will definitely make it your way. My favorite is a pretty healthy breakfast burrito:Egg whites, black beans, cabbage, onions, cilantro and avocado.The owner Pam should call this the Steve Burrito! Or the Esteban Burrito.Either way, do yourself and visit this great local restaurant.To make it even better, you can get the best coffee in the area 30 feet away at Cafe Ole! Cheers!

Two businesses in the cafe. We ordered from both. We were the only customers, the coffee was served to our table and it delicious. My meal seemed to take a long time and I found it sitting on the counter, cold. I had not heard a call and not one of the three staff bothered to let us know or serve the meal. As I mentioned, great coffee and dissapointing cold breakfast.

Good little spot for food after a MTB ride. They also have beer 🍻! I always like to support local businesses. There is a coffee shop inside, if you need a kick.

Delicious freshly made food. The Breakfast tacos of chorizo and eggs are wonderful. You have a variety of sauces, chopped onion, cilantro to add to your liking. Wont Dissappoint.. Also their lunch menu is equally as good. Second time there and will definitely go back.

Absolutely dreadful. Indifferently made, with low quality ingredients. Ancient stale meat, iceberg lettuce, yellow cheese, and more salt than Ive experienced literally anytime in my life. Youd have a more authentically Mexican cuisine experience at Jack in the Box.And not a mask in sight.

I love Santa Fe Cafe!!! When I just moved to US and lived in Calabasas I used to go there almost every day😃I’ve never tried Mexican food before, it was new and so tasty for me. Then I’ve tried burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas from other restaurants in LA as well, and now I can say that definitely this place is one of the best!!!! Food is always so fresh and tastes great, I moved from Calabasas and can’t visit the cafe often enough, but when I’m there, it’s a great pleasure to get some amazing food and enjoy!!! Highly recommended ❤️

Soooo good... just get the tacos. Parmesan sprinkled taco shells. I don’t think I would go to a Mexican restaurant that has a huge lunch menu and expect them to have a great breakfast. They do lunch. The salsa is one of a kind, all of their tacos are fantastic and have I mentioned the tacos??? Also, the Pollo plate is pretty legit. Consistently good and unique flavors, not what you will see on 1,000 different corners in the Valley alone.

Tasty tacos. My last taco spot was becoming inconsistent but a friend brought me here and it has become my new go to. They crust the tacos with parmesan which I thought was weird is actually amazing. Friendly staff and short wait times.

I hate spending money on mediocre/bad food. The service was decent that’s why they got two stars. The flautas were not crispy and barely cooked and the burrito had no rice in it so it was just a soggy mess. All this for $20+? Will not be going back.

Super expensive coffee n Cafe Olé it is not Starbucks at all and the Santa Fe Café ☕️ do not sale café orange juice l order an omelette and it does not have flavored they don’t give me any salsa at all no really good prices next time l rather drive 6 more minutes and go to the Taqueria Las virgenes that has the better flavor and the right price

Not sure why everyone swears by this place but ive never been a fan. Maybe i was spoiled by oxnard but this is not good mexican food. People are extremely nice and there maybe one or two ok thing on the menu but thats about it.

Not very good $7.50 for a tiny breakfast on a plastic plate sorry even worse StyrofoamFrozen potatoes smothered in Grease was awful actually horrible value for the money as well you have to go to the other side to get a coffee which was fine so in total you looking at $10/11 dollars definitely not worth the value
