My daughter had a volleyball tournament at this location. Parking was free which is a huge plus! Most charge $15-$25 each day. Bathrooms were well maintained & the facility was as well

A decent convention facility. A little bit of a strange layout, but lots of open floor space and configurable room space. Attached to the Hyatt hotel next door. Location is good for easy access by multiple transportation options. The nearby attractions they tout arent likely to be of interest to most convention attendees. Note that food and drink options on site are pretty poor and extremely overpriced; there are much better choices relatively nearby if youre willing to take a short drive.

Went to the Silicon Valley Auto Show. This years show was good, but could have had a few more manufacturers. The best represented was Kia, Toyota, and Hyundai.

I went there for a volleyball tournament and it was super clean, organized, and fun. The only problem was that there was absolutely zero information on where to park, how to get to the courts, etc. We figured it out by following everyone else.

The Santa Clara Convention Center hosts various events, conferences, and exhibitions. The facility provides meeting spaces, exhibit halls, and amenities for different types of gatherings. I went here for a stand up comedy special by one of the Indian comedians Akash Gupta. Great Venue!

This place was really cool I brought my son here they had a lot of stuff going on we came for the Disney and art exhibit that they had going on was free and they had friends and pictures and they also had other items that you could buy if you felt like you wanted to decorate your wall. Also they had a another function which had to do with dancing and jumping and then they had another function that had to do with like the 49ers and like gifts stuff for people but you had to pay to get in there so I didnt have tickets and I went there for the art exhibit not the other exhibitions that they had going on but it was overall fun

Good location for conferences. I have been there for my work conferences. The parking is huge, you will find a spot for sure. It is part of the Hilton hotel conference center.The Santa Clara Convention Center is located in northern Santa Clara, California. It serves as one of the large meeting and convention facilities in Silicon Valley, with 262,000 square feet of meeting space, built in 1986. The ballroom space was expanded during 2009. It is located in the same complex as the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and the Santa Clara TechMart conference center. It is adjacent to the VTA Great America light rail station and across the street from the Great America theme park.

A good convention with the ability to hoist many mini events. Went there for a sport show event and found that there were at least two more other gatherings. The only bummer was that there were only two ATMs and both were out of service. The cafe area was cool and chill, many gathered and were able to grab some grub. A few vending machines had the ability to provide some fast heated food. A perfect location next to 49ers Stadium, Great America Amusement Park, and the Green Line Metro line is convenient for ease of access without the issue of looking for parking.

Attended several conferences and trade shoes here. Conveniently located right next to Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. There is ample parking space in the parking garage. Restaurants are not close by, other than one in Hyatt. A great place for conferences, trade shoes and other community events.

I like the fact that this convention center has free parking in either the garage behind it or the garage across from Levi stadium. Sure beats paying dollars per hour to park for the conventions in the downtown center. Floor space is plentiful and its clean. The snack counter there is open for something to eat should you want it. I just went to the home show and saw many things for my house I would love to have, gotta budget for them.

No EV parking was told on the first floor but they had pulled it out I was told later. I looked it up the city owns parking lot there is a law that requires EV parking. The service they did have at one time Blink was a ripoff. I ended up parking in front of garage at tech mart they had chargepoint chargers. I was charged $30 to charge avd park there. The machine says you would only be charged $20. I called chargepoint they said tech mart owns machines to talk to them . They denied owning it.

Was a little hard to find the entrance to the parking garage - for reference turn right from great America parkway at the first traffic light after Hyatt( Hyatt on your right all along).From then on, its a breeze. The parking is well connected to the convention center - a very short walk.

Great place for events ! I come here for the travel and adventure show . I have also been here for a work conference . The place is awesome and spacious. They hold so many conventions and its right to many hotels so finding a place to sleep should not be an issue if you are from out of town. Many restaurants near by also Levis stadium and Great America is right next door!

I was amazed at that this convention center located just minutes from some of the largest tech firms in the world seemed in so need of a remodel. The bathroom designs seemed like they were from the 70s, old shopping mall style escalators, old looking carpet and paint. It worked for the convention but it definitely had more of a run down feel than many of the convention centers I travel to.

And would you believe it, they had free parking all day and that was the norm.This local had several things going on at the same time; comic books, fencing, Primerica and others. They are hosting on Nov 11 a CAIR 29th Anniversary Gala event. The CAIRs has direct ties to Hamas, to antisemitism and to seeking eradication of Israel.Really disgusting decision to host them. My family and me will never attend any event happening in the Santa Clara convention center no matter what it is.

Santa Clara Convention Center hosted a 3 day event for my company in April 2023 and I could not have been happier. In contacting the Santa Clara Convention Center, I was immediately impressed with Ariel Alvero in her efforts to help me select the perfect room in your convention center for our event. Ariel and I came to quick agreement on the space and terms and provided me a contract very quickly so we could start advertising right away. She was incredibly helpful. In addition, Stephanie Barraza contacted me offering assistance in promoting our event but unfortunately, I never took advantage of that offer. I was then assigned Sydney Green as my Events Manager and I could not have been more impressed with her helpfulness, going the extra mile to help me and promptness in responding to any questions I had. Stephanie made it a point to check in with me regularly throughout our event and when her shift was over and we still had the show going on, she would introduce me to her replacement for those periods after hours. We also rented AV equipment through Toby Laufer and although a bit pricey, worked flawlessly despite not having inhouse speakers. Overall, we were thrilled with the venue and hope to continue doing more in the future

Very nice facility but I will never accept the notion that a SMALL bag of chips should cost $3.00. The food prices at the venue were beyond ridiculous. Bring your own food when you come.I appreciated how they took over a mens restroom and opened it for the ladies. No waiting in line!The place is clean and well-organized but be careful where you park! I felt like I had walked a mile before I even got to the center.

The nicest thing about the Santa Clara Convention center is the Free Parking. I went for the Silicon Valley Car Show. I was disappointed that there were not more cars from other brands, missing were all GM cars, BMW, Mercedes, Subaru, Honda, and many more. When the car show was in San Jose, there were always a lot more brands. I wont be going next year.

Convenient location for South Bay events. The venue is spacious. Free Overnight parking is awesome. Some equipments, like the projectors and stage are pretty dated. Not much isolation when there are multiple events going on. More security and a clear lost and found office would be nice.

Its a huge venue for the quilt shops, sewing and weaving conventions and lots of other conference related events. Parking is plentiful but a distance from the venue. A shuttle service would be nice as many attendees are disabled and use canes and walkers, for most many of us are in our 70s or close to it. What good is disabled parking if its 2 blocks away? Their are restaurants in the adjoined hotel and catered food services at most events. What else can I say...its a typical convention center.

Technically not the Santa Clara Convention centers fault but we had a bad experience. I will say, the parking across from the Niners Stadium was free, that was a great surprise!

Visited for a day to attend a Scrapbook Expo. Extremely comfortable venue with free parking and nice climate controlled rooms. Close access from the freeway and once parked easy to access building. Individual meeting rooms both upstairs and downstairs, small little cafe for food (did not eat here, but looked good and is conveniently located). Also, had great electronic signs of all the events occurring at the center and where so you dont get lost.

The layout of the building is TERRIBLE. Its all built in a circle, and you cant pass from Hall A to Hall D without walking around the entire space, which is huge. As a vendor, I was also massively inconvenienced when management told us no outside food or drinks for our personal use! I understand that we cant sell food/drinks or give them away as promos (this was not in the contract, BTW, and a fellow vendor had to pack up and leave because she sells cookies). I have blood sugar issues, and must eat something every 2 hours. While the food sold by the concessions was pretty good, and fairly reasonably priced for a Center, the fact that they opened very late and closed very early was terrible for me because that meant I was there on Sunday 9am to 6pm with food only at 11-3!Now, the good points: Very clean space, plenty of room for large events. Very nice loading dock with additional loading zone for small cars. The staff was all very helpful and knowledgeable. Aside from how rudely the person who told me I couldnt have my food and water spoke to me, they were all very nice.

Went to the Pacific International Quilt Festival. The convention center handle the show perfectly as usual and followed Covid-19 rules. The show was smaller than usual just because not everyone is ready to be out around others yet. Parking was great. There were a lot of vendors and a lot of quilts. Everyone I talked to enjoyed the show and you could not beat the venue.

Ive been with several companies that have used the Santa Convention Center for large company events and find it to be a really good experience overall. They know how to cater to huge outings with thousands of people, which is no easy feat. The main rooms are massive, seating is as comfortable as it can be with the type of chair required to hold that many people and sound/acoustics/visuals for all the presenters/stage participants is excellent.The only negative is the number of bathrooms for such large crowds. But Ive stayed in the adjoining Hyatt Regency hotel each time, so didnt have much of an issue.

This is a nice place for a convention. Ive attended several here. Theres plenty of parking, even though they tried to route you to overfill parking. There are two floors to the convention center, but the main showroom is usually on the first floor. If you do want snacks, make sure to bring your own. The food selection here in this hotel is very limited.

Abraham with Allied Security is an upstanding and phenomenal security guard that goes above and beyond to help people in need. My cars battery died after day one of the bar exam. I was tired and desperate to get home. I found Abraham who was very kind enough to jump start my car using his car. Then, as fate would have it, I helped jump start another fellow test taker whose cars battery also had died. Abraham started a chain reaction of good deeds. Im forever grateful.

The convention center is always clean. It is huge. Whenever there is a craft Expo, its the perfect place because there are plenty of space for classes and the main part of the Expo has plenty of room for the many thousands that visit. The last visit was us volunteering for a charity event and everything was perfectly set up. Its a great place to have any type of function!

Decor is decent, and parking is free, but during events it can be hard to find parking as a result. There is a garage down Tasman if youre not planning to be out past 11 PM (it closes at that time). A little annoyed that what used to be con center overflow parking across the street next to Great Americas parking is now rich-people Levis Stadium parking, but I suppose that cant be helped. Also, this venue is not in a good spot for food; youll have to walk maybe 15 minutes to Taco Bell or Togos, and 30-45 for other options, unless you dont mind taking your car out of the lots.

This is a boon and a curse as if your event competes with the 49ers, then traffic is a snarl for the 4 to 5 hours surrounding the event, if youre including the game in your schedule, it is very close. The party was allot of fun but lacked some organizing. There were no signs telling you where to go park and it was our first time there. There were several other parties going on to it was confusing. I know that they used their light up boards to sort of direct you but it wasnt all that clear who was where. Also it would have been nice to know that at the bar you needed cash, as there were no ATMs. We still had a good time and for the price it was fun.

I came here for The Internet of Things conference. The signage trying to find the convention center parking was confusing. Once you get in, you have to weave around the hotel to park in the Levi Stadium parking lot. The convention center itself is very small compared to the Moscone Center or the San Jose Convention Center. I still found the venue to be very nice and well maintained.

Very spacious convention center. It has its own parking garage, which is a real upside! Its conveniently located off of hwy 101.Great America amusement park is across the street. As well as, the poorly planned, Levis stadium now. Theres a lot of hotels restaurants and smaller eateries in the area now as well.So this means, check traffic on your way to the convention center. If theres an event at Levis, you may want to approach from an alternate direction.

Outside, there were no signs to depict the separate entrance for the convention center. For the conference I recently attended- with approximately 1800 attendees, I would say this venue has its pros and cons. A HUGE pro was its FREE, yes FREE, parking! I dont know if the parking is always free, or if its something negotiated for each conference event, but this was absolutely an unexpected plus to discover when we arrived.Traveling to get to the conference center is another story, if youre arriving from the East Bay. 237 is consistently a nightmare (like most commute time traffic in the Bay Area). Leave yourself plenty of time to arriveThe event space, itself, was manageable in size, but to register and navigate the space, there was no real centrally-located command center. The books sold at our event were near impossible to find. And the Wi-Fi was sketchy for me during my entire 3 days there.As for the other aspects of this particular event, free breakfast and lunch were also provided (If you could get there between 6:30-8:00 in the morning- after which it is all promptly put away. No chance to graze between breakout sessions or if you missed arriving before the keynote address.) Great, right? Well, yes and no. Given the Santa Clara Convention Centers location, there are absolutely no food places to go to. You have no food options. This event space is surrounded by other event spaces (The 49ers stadium is on one side of the street, and Great America is on the other side. Business buildings also abound in this Silicon Valley gateway city. So, its great that lunch is provided, sure, but its not much and there are no other options.Additionally, and most importantly. lunch was just not good. Ones lunch consisted of a sandwich, an apple and a small bag of plain chips. There were vegetarian options, but if youre vegan youre way out of luck. Youre better off packing your lunch instead (this really goes for all).

I go here for CAX almost every year.They will inappropriately lock doors, making you walk long distances to get to where you need to go. Otherwise, no complaints.Parking can be insanely hard, depends on what is going on that day. The city parking structure near the golf course is usually where I park, but now that the stadium is open, even that gets filled up, and there is NO PLACE to park.Some events roll over to the Hyatt Regency. The people there are helpful, but they do not want to give you a paper map. ASK for a map when they tell you where to go. The room names are meaningless, ask them which floor it is on, and how to get there. AND TAKE A MAP of the Hyatt. Until they create a smartphone app or can email you a file, you have to get a paper map...

This time it was in the beginning of the event (2 hours before it started) in the ladies room there was no toilet paper or hand towels. No easy to find staff to inform. When I found someone she complaned to me about ig as wll. Said shed tell someone. So it was a holiday event where they emphasized hot chocolate but ran out well before. Kids cant drink the coffee as it was the only option.

This venue is large and allows capacity for different types of events. The downside is that the house sound is contracted out, and is not always well-maintained as such events have confronted failures in this aspect. The OnePlus is that it is directly connected to the Hyatt property which in itself does offer some amenities. All in all the venue could use some updating, specifically in regard to the seating offered for various events it goes from bad to worse.

Good, large venue for conventions. Despite being in the heart of silicon valley, the Wi-Fi is spotty and there are still, to this day, some spots without cell phone reception.... amazing. Parking is tight if u want close parking. Theres some additional parking 10mins aways from the convention center. The ball rooms and exhibit halls are all over the freaking place with no logic to them, but if u get used to tye madness, itll eventually make some weird sense. This is definitely better than the San Jose convention center in downtown San Jose.

Im giving this place two stars because the bar service is the worst. The hotel and stuff is really nice. However.. The bar.. Is a different story. Ive been to several conventions here. Is a matter of fact im going to one there tonight. Bar is under staffed EVERY time. If they had more bartenders this place would make a killing. Most people give up and go across the street somewhere else. Beers hover around $10. Dont get me started on mixed drinks. I sat at this bar once for 15 mins and not a single person acknowledged me. I went outside to the pool area that had drinks. This time it was our credit card machine doesnt work. Went to get cash, came back waiting in line for 10 mins for a beer and one bartender struggling to handle it all himself. I dont understand the SCCC logic. Hire more staff! And dont pay em dog$hit.

The very first expression that comes to your mind when you are in this convention center - is the word HUGE. It is really very huge premise with many business-centers, hotels, restaurants etc. located within.We had gone there to participate in the traditional Gujarati (Indian) religious festival called Nav-Ratra Pooja and Garba.With ample parking space, we had no problem to reach our venue. There were about 5000 people within the hall but we never experienced any sort of suffocation or crampiness - the air conditioning system was at par.I would love to go there once again during the day time to experience the hugeness of this center.
