I went to Nissan at Kellogg last minute after being at a key shop place that was unable to help me to get another chip key made. This other company told me to try Nissan. Although they were busy and it was late in the day. The technician reprogrammed my car. They made a second key and the nice young man that made it all happen also spoke with his manager and he gave me a nice discount. I give them a thumbs up and a sincere thank you.

This was our first time at SB Nissan. my husband and I generally lease cars and our lease was up on our old car. I wasn’t really sure if I wanted a Nissan but the sales team Edgar and Matt were so were so helpful and thorough. They made our decision to lease a Nissan Rogue so easy!The Finance manager worked hard on the number that worked for us and Heather with her knowledge and patience was very detailed when we were signing.Our sales guy Edgar with his 10 years of experience really shows. My car engine light was on. I came to Nissan because I have always taken my vehicle there for maintenance. Even though I had no appointment, they diagnosed the problem, repaired it for less money than I had expected to pay and gave me a discount on a much needed oil change. They were courteous and kept me apprised of what needed to be repaired. I highly recommend them.

Made an initial call to schedule an appt on Tuesday, had an appt the next day on Wednesday! Alex provided excellent customer service. Straightforward, that’s what I like! Dropped off my car at 8, it was ready by noon! No upselling, communication was great, honored my coupon, final bill didn’t send me over the edge. Took my car over to fix some transmission issues, because my check engine light was on, something was wrong with my taillights, and the engine would cut in and out at some points, usually lefthand turns. When I got it back, the check engine light was off, and it still had all of the same exact problems. The day after ai took it home, the engine started cutting in and out when I was in the middle of turning left in an intersection. I would have gotten T-boned if oncoming traffic hadnt braked and waited for me to manage to get the car to limp across. Thanks, Nissan! You nearly got me killed! Great job! Suffice it to say, Ive decided my next car will be a Subaru... or ANYTHING but a Nissan.

Although the appointment to replace my battery took longer than expected, the price was exactly what was estimated. Jaime, the manager, let me know about the condition of my battery and after a consultation got right to work swapping out my old for a new one. The service team also gave the car an overall multi-point check and found it was otherwise in tip-top shape. It was altogether a positive experience.

“Check tire pressure” message came up when starting my Nissan cargo van the week of June 26. Throughout the week I added Air to the tires, yet tire pressure light continued to show up. on July 5 fifth I took my van to Nissan dealership on Kellogg in Goleta to have the tires checked, oil change, and tire rotation. At that time I told Service Employee that I would be taking a trip to Davis on July 7. The trip is approximately 312 miles. The print out information I was given after service stated that the tires were immersed in water and showed no sign of leakage, and that no new tires were needed at that time. Upon arrival in Davis on 7 July, my tire was clearly flat. I took my car to a tire center which revealed a slow leak and extreme tire wear. I clearly needed a new tire due to a slow leak that was not detected by the service center in Santa Barbara at my appointment on July 5. My husband and I were extremely lucky to have not ended up on the side of the road on interstate 5!

I rarely leave reviews but I just have to shout out this dealership. I had been looking for a new car for several months and doing plenty of research to find the right new vehicle for me. This meant interacting with many dealerships along the way and Santa Barbara Nissan was hands down the most attentive, respectful and willing to work with me to find me exactly what I wanted at the right price point. After purchasing my Nissan Rogue, I had a minor issue with finding a few scratches after their initial detail service (less than 24 hours after my purchase) and they did everything possible to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. They never once made me feel like an inconvenience.Its been about 4 months since my purchase and theyve proven more than once that they really care about their customer service, even after the sale. Emily, the person who sold me my vehicle, even took the time out of her busy day to wish me a happy birthday this week!I ended up back there today because of a flat tire and once again, Edgar helped me right away and got it all set up for service tomorrow. I was treated like I was stupid by the service department management, they didnt believe me when I said my steering was failing, as at first it was intermittent. The car was dangerous to drive, they didnt seem to care and wanted me to take my car home. I kept insisting the mechanic go for drives with me to prove the failures...and within 3 drives It failed completely. The wheel wouldnt turn any more as the power steering completely failed, finally got the work approved. If I would have listened to the service managers, it could have killed me or someone else. Unacceptable . It does not change the positive relationship I have with sales, I am currently looking for a car for my girlfriend and will always buy from Ed and Louis as long as theres a car I like. The mechanic who did the work on my car did a great job, and has always been respectful with me. I trust his work.

I always come to SB Nissan for oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks & more. I only had to go to another place once when your schedule was too busy before I had to make a trip. The only isssue I have is the marketing materials which I love & are good reminders for me, are never known by the repair dept. So they dont offer the same prices unless I argue. This week, I did my standard oil change but did not get a tire rotation. Did not get windshield wipers changed. Did not get complimentary wash. I got an oil change & fluids topped off for $39 with coupon.

Amazing service. I went to the one in Oxnard because that’s were I got my car and had a horrible experience. They ignored me and would only talk to my husband. This place is truly amazing. They communicated with me and it honestly felt so nice to be treated like a human. I get nervous going to some of these places because I’m a women and I get ignored a lot but this place treated me equally to others and I felt truly comfortable. Will be coming here from now on. Ok where do I start..!!??Om Monday August 28,2023 I call Santa Barbara Nissan, service department to schedule service for my 2022 Pathfinder I told the service advisor over the phone that I was going to do a “brakes job” (rear axis) and an oil change, to schedule me for Friday September 01,2023 at 11:30am. I got there about 10-15 minutes early, after I gave Alejandro all the information again on what service I was going to do, he told me that it will take about 90 minutes, I was waiting in the Dealership so I told Alejandro that I was going to have lunch, and I be back….. Two hours later when I was walking back to the outside waiting area from my lunch Alejandro see’s me and approached me only to tell me that they Don’t Have The Brake Pads !!.. He couldn’t call me, text me or email me??? And Not wait for 2hour to tell me that!!! I schedule on Monday for Friday!!! Plenty of time… His excuse was that the Pathfinder was to NEW that’s why didn’t have the OEM Brake Pads but they can get after market break pads…. I did that because I had about 2mm left on the pads.. Three and half hours later ( it supposed take 90 minutes) he brings my SUV with out a courtesy car wash, he stated that he didn’t want me to wait any longer that’s why didn’t do a car wash…“Should I came to this particular location next time for future service??”

Generally, the service dept. was professional and easy to work with. They understood the problems I was having with my car and didnt try to push extra repairs. Considering the multiple repairs needed, they finished in a reasonable amount of time, and the charges didnt seem too bad. If I had any complaint, it was that I think the agent could have done a better job of communicating my problems with the repairman. We are from Phoenix, AZ. The battery died in my 2018. It wasn’t as simple as just replacing the battery with a new one. One of the terminals was bad. We had to leave to drive back to Phoenix the next morning. We called the Nissan dealership when two other places were on able to help us and they couldn’t have been more accommodating from the first phone call! We showed up and we were so lucky to meet Sara(h)! Sadly, I cannot remember the two names of the gentlemen who worked on the terminal, but they were amazing as well! Sara(h) was kind and funny and efficient, and she went out of her way to help us to be able to safely get back to Phoenix on time! Now, we aren’t from Santa Barbara. I marked above in the survey that we would go back to this Nissan dealership. We come to Santa Barbara off and on during the summer. If we show up next summer and we’re in need of anything, including maybe even buying a car, we will do that and we will be sure to come by and thank Sara(h) again! Beware rip-off charges. I went for a $19.95 oil & filter change special and they also me charged me $225 for coolant change. So changing oil and coolant costs $20 and $225 respectively! One is a bargain and one a rip-off.Update: I had an email saying I had $51 of Nissan Rewards loyalty credit that I would lose if I didnt have the car serviced again. I had the car serviced and still lost the loyalty credits because they gave me a discount - - the discount was worth less than the credits. So much for loyalty.

I made a point of giving my business to this local company but now regret it! Unprofessional behavior and bad customer service at all levels - owner, manager, head of service department. Even the GM. I bought a used car and had to ask them to fix several issues that should have been done prior to even putting the car on the lot, like balancing the tires, unclogging plugged wiper fluid nozzles, fixing a loudly rattling muffler, etc. Initially they were very accommodating, but when I asked to bring the car in again because their muffler fix didnt take and they forgot to unclog the wiper fluid nozzles, they made it obvious they just wanted me to go away. The sales manager told me at one point he would call me in 1 week to schedule an appointment - 2 weeks later no call. After I finally called again, he proceeded to argue and adopted a cold attitude after I pointed out that he should have called when he said he would. The first 2 times I had the car in (for the diagnosis and initial repairs), they gave me a loaner. When I told them I needed to bring it in again because they had forgotten the wipers and the muffler was still rattling, the owner grudgingly agreed to do me the courtesy of looking at the car again, but said he would only do it between the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm weekdays, and that I would have to wait. Although they already knew I worked full time at a new job and could not wait for the car (which is why they had previously given me a loaner twice), this time they refused me a loaner or even a ride. I had to appeal to the GM Cristy (owners daughter) to intervene. Unfortunately, however, after having a conversation with Cristy about the situation and receiving her commitment to have them give me a ride while the car was being fixed, I still had to leave her 3 more messages before she responded and followed through, by having the service dept call me to set the appointment. So it was only because of her intervention that the owner agreed to give me ride back to work while they attended to the items they hadnt handled before - unbelievable! And the head of service Jaime is extremely rude to clients - other employees there actually told me he is well-known for his bad manners and horrible customer service skills. And yet this person is head of a department?? Bottom line: the owner is old school, tight with his money and doesnt care about doing the right thing, and management needs lessons in customer service and follow through. This company does not understand customer service, doesnt inspect their used cars prior to sale and keeps rude and unprofessional employees on staff. GO ELSEWHERE AND GIVE YOUR MONEY TO A DEALERSHIP THATS PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDS BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They do not do loner cars which is a first at any dealership I’ve bought a car from, so after paying thousands of dollars I now need to Uber everywhere which is not cheap. I honestly wish I never purchased a car from here and I do not recommend anyone buy one as well unless you want to spend over 20k to have a car for just a couple days then met with no care because they have their money and could careless about you. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.Update:Breaks fail again after they put “new” breaks on! Seriously watch out for these people they sell terrible cars and when u call constantly after you signed they are all “unavailable “ starting as of yesterday a lawsuit against them.

Everyone was very attentive and very nice. I have been to other Nissan locations in California but this one was the best one I have been at. I found it really nice of them to offer shuttle service and to ask if I was doing ok. I also really enjoyed the waiting area. Everything was nicely kept and clean and offered refreshments and snacks.

I have been coming here for services for 2 years now and have always found the staff friendly, professional and informative. They do a great job and always point out anything on my vehicle that needs attention. Would recommend to anyone.On a side note the service manager, Ron I believe, is terrible. Absolutely no regard for your time. Im talking weeks to months before he will get back to you. Jamie and the rest of the team are superb!

I would say this is by far the best dealership I have dealt with over the years. I have purchased 7 different Nissans over the last 33 years and this was the best experience. I was hesitant at first because we drove 3 hours to get there, but as soon as we arrived we were greeted with very friendly people and the process was quick. When we are ready to purchase our next vehicle, I will definitely will consider driving the 3 hours to this facility again.

Jaime is great but the service department is a joke. They had my car for 6+ hours before I even received an estimate, wanted to keep my car overnight (mind you I live in Lompoc), wouldn’t give me a rental car free of charge even though I had dropped my car off at 9 am and they hadn’t even done anything. Get my car back and in less than 24 hours one of the issues I have taken it in for MULTIPLE times start up AGAIN! This is not the first time they have had my car ALL day and I have had to initiate contact to get communication and updates. Taking my car to be serviced should not be a stressful situation and I shouldn’t worry about the quality of work being done.

Ive been bringing my car in here for service for the past 4 years. The staff are always nice and generally willing to explain any work being done. The waiting room is comfortable and theres pretty good free coffee and some snacks which is nice. They also recently added a phone charging station which is super convenient. The WiFi was down on my last visit which was kind of inconvenient, but all in all Id still give the service experience 4 stars.

Made an appointment, when I showed up there was no record of myAppointment and was told incorrect information about how long the appointment would take. Had to comeback again the next day, left my car and was told I would be picked up once it was ready. Once it was ready I was told the shuttle was done for the day and I would have no ride. Luckily the mechanic on duty at the time offered to come and pick me up, can’t remember his name but he was a white bald man probably in his early to mid 30’s very friendly. If it weren’t for him I would’ve complained to the manager.

Service dept team is great! Taking my car in to be serviced, is like going to the dentist....needs to be done - not knowing what else will be discovered and how much it will cost is the painful part. All I can say is that we don’t have enough words to thank Jaime and his team, he was great since the beginning very professional and understanding, we had an issue with our Nissan Murano and after he inspected the vehicle, he proceeded to explain what the problem was and what will be needed to get it done, he contacted our insurance and deal with them it was not easy task but at the end he make everything work out. his main concern and priority was.I should have a vehicle available to move around and that I would be happy and worry free.
