This is my second time leasing a car through Honda Santa Barbara.I’ve leased and purchased cars from dealerships in the past. This has been the best experience I’ve ever had! I won’t lie, the thought of trading in my car and purchasing a new one was pretty anxiety inducing. My partner convinced me to finally go to a dealership after a year of looking just to see what they could do. My anxiety was sky high, but we walked in and met Angel and I felt at ease immediately. He was personable and made everything feel like we were just chatting, no pressure. He mentioned Hector would help us with a test drive (cue anxiety spike) and we met Hector and again I was put at ease and felt like he was truly there to help us both come out with a deal that benefited all. After the test drive we met Thomas and again I felt like we were all on the same page with the same goal which was not how I pictured this going. I pictured the back and forth banter and no deal being made and me leaving sad and disappointed that we had to walk away. But these three gentlemen just felt genuine and truly like they wanted me to get the car I wanted. After we said yes, Andres helped with the paperwork and answered all our questions so that I fully understood what I was signing. Lastly, Frank came over and congratulated us on our purchase and offered us soda and water and paid out of pocket for those which was just shocking. As someone who avoided this process for months on end, had I known this was the crew I would deal with I would have bought my beautiful car months ago. Great experience getting a truck from SB Honda.From initial phone contact with Regina to consistent updates by email & phone with Hector, leading up to me flying down to finalize the paperwork and pick up the vehicle, everyone was super nice. Hector offered to meet me at the airport - above and beyond service! On that note - the airport is super tiny and makes arriving at it absolutely lovely. As an added bonus the dealership is literally 2 miles from the airport, super convenient if youre coming in from out of town. When I arrived, my future truck was pulled up by the entrance - along with a twin sibling which was evidently getting shipped out of state. Nice!Hector ran numbers for different options for me - different term, different deposit, as well as helped me figure out if Honda offers some other programs (one-pay option vs monthly, loyalty discounts, security deposits... all the variations). Thanks for your patience, Hector! We figured out what works best for me in the end. Frank in the finance department explained the particulars of the contract clearly, as well as additional optional service plans/security contracts/warranties. I really appreciated that at no point did I feel pushed to get anything I didnt need - the whole team felt like they were on my side, helping me figure out what would serve my needs best - and had no discontent with me declining some of the available additional services.Overall a really pleasant experience, thanks SB Honda team!

We used to have a great experience when we purchase a new car here, and recently the management and sales are doing stupid things to their former customers.They trying to sell us a new car when we told them twice that we are leaving and no more need a car, and they want me to sell them our car while I told them I still need the car for a while.The guy from New York doing all there things like an underage. We can do him a favor and sell them the car that day and thats good for him? Come on! That was not good for us!After that I found that carmax could offer me 3k more on that car, what can I say? Maybe they still have good deals on new cars but avoid sell them your cars!

Had a great experience working with Hector here. He is very knowledgeable about the cars, very thoughtful, patient, and hardworking. We walked into the dealership with the thoughts of just looking at the new vehicles they had in stock. Once walking in, Angel greeted us and made us feel very welcome… no pressure, no sales tactics, just a genuine conversation about their vehicles. We ended up taking a test drive and Hector answered all our questions and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. Thomas was also great to deal with when talking numbers. All said and done, we left purchasing a vehicle at a good price, on our terms, with support from their entire staff. I went in last week and was immediately met by Bri. She was so fantastic, friendly and knew exactly what she was talking about! It was such a pleasure getting taken care of by her, and the longer I was there the more I got to know the other employees, who are all so amazing and friendly. Looking around, you can tell all the employees enjoy being there which I think makes for such a welcoming environment. It was genuinely such a pleasure being at this Honda dealership! We purchased a new CR-V and were helped by Isaac. The five stars are for him - my wife and I felt he was knowledgeable about the car and able to answer all of our questions. Also helped us work to a price that worked for us and was not pressuring us too much. We didnt have an appointment so I think maybe he stayed late which we appreciate.I have separately had my Honda Civic receive service here recently and have been pleased with the repair work.

The entire car buying experience at this dealership was like no other and I have dealt with many Honda and other dealerships (Just purchased our 8th Honda, this one from Santa Barbara Honda). Thomas, Sales Manager; Bonnie, Service Advisor; Shouta, Sales Associate; Andres, Finance and Doug in the Parts Dept. were friendly, courteous, caring, fair, honest and professional through the entire car buying experience. No hassle or pressure to buy something we didnt want and not in a hurry to get us out the door once the purchase was complete. To the contrary, we spent almost two hours after we took possession of our new vehicle driving and going over the car functions and accessories with the sales associate. Let me start by saying that it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. The only positive part about the entire sales process was our salesman Issac. He was awesome and great to work with. Aside from that, it has been a terrible experience. Having sold cars before, I understand how this all works. The first sales manager I dealt with input the numbers incorrectly from the beginning of negotiation process. Multiple times I mentioned that the way they had it entered was incorrect and it was not reflecting an accurate payment, and multiples times I was told it didn’t make a difference. Then they brought over the General Sales Manager who tried to close the deal. He piggybacked off of the first guy and also said the way the numbers were entered did not matter. I told them if they wanted to close the deal to enter it as I am telling them. They quickly came back out and acknowledged that the numbers were incorrect and that it was their new softwares fault. The GSM sweetened the deal in an attempt to show me he was acting in good faith. I proceeded to accept the deal as I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt on the software mishap. I let them know that we were going to go clean out our trade in and be back at 4:30pm that day to sign. They assured me the paperwork would be ready so that we could get in and out quickly. We show up at 4:45 and say there for at least 45 minutes while they prepared the documents. We had somewhere to be and they made us late. During the signing process we are told we can pick up our equity check from our trade in on Monday or Tuesday (it is Friday at this point and I understand banks are closed on the weekends so I had no issue with that). Wednesday rolls around and our check is not ready. They ask us to come in and resign because they want to send our documents electronically to speed up the process. We let them know we can come in tomorrow (Thursday) to sign so long as they can have the check ready Friday. We let them know we would be in at 4:30 to sign and to please have everything ready. We again, sat there for over an hour. They did wash the car, which was nice but again the hour wait made us late. They did apologize and let us know we could pick up the check today (Friday) at 11:00am. Just to give them extra time, I showed up at 12:30pm. Another sales manager says “they are just dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s, it should be ready soon”. I proceed to wait a half hour at which point that same sales manager comes out and says “they haven’t approved the deal yet so we can’t pay you”. If that’s the case, why would you let me know I could pick up my check at 11:00am if you weren’t going to have it ready. Wasting my time once again. Here we are a week later, and I still have not gotten my check back. Stop making false promises just to make a deal.

Went in there to see what my options were to trade in my vehicle. They were willing to work with my credit and salesman Issac was awesome!! Unfortunately after trying to negotiate a deal I witnessed the GENERAL MANAGER of this dealership threaten to kick people out of the dealership and yell profanity at his sales team as I was sitting in the dealership. I walked out of that dealership because of the General Managers attitude towards the customers and his team. I will never set foot in this dealership again and will not let anyone I know go to this dealership. And to your General Manager - the way you put your sales people down and the way you talk to your sales people and even about customers is DISGUSTING. I will never do business with someone like you. You are only hurting your sales people trying to make money with the way you are in your profession.

Why does Santa Barbara Honda refuse to stop called me? Its been a couple of years now, and they continue to email and call me saying they have a great sale going on even though Ive told them to stop. Someone from there sales team just called me last night twice during dinner time. I have already gotten in touch with the GM who told me theyd remove me from their system but I guess not. Its a shame because Ive done business here more than once, now I am thinking of just driving to Santa Maria Honda for my next purchase as this place doesnt deserve my business.

My wife and I just bought our first car here, a 2007 Pontiac Vibe, which we are very happy with. Not only did Honda of SB offer to pick us up and drive us out to Kellog from downtown SB, they also bought us lunch! Hector, our salesman, and Michael, his trainee, were amazingly helpful and informative every step of the way. The car was in pristine condition, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Regina, the manager was also very nice and helpful, and informed us that a mechanic on their team had worked for Pontiac. Frank, who helped us with the paperwork, explained everything in great detail. Manny picked us up and drove us to the dealership. Overall, a great experience. These people were great!Not only did they pick us up from our home when we wanted to come in and test drive a car they had, they went above and beyond while we were there. Everyone was friendly, personable and NOT PUSHY AT ALL! They understood we knew what we wanted and only had so much to work with. They worked with us, not against us. The process was easy, painless and they were more than willing to explain anything I didnt understand until I was completely satisfied with what was going on. The waiting room and bathroom is clean. Free water,coffee,and wifi. I was updated quickly on what was wrong with my van. Very professional service. Bonnie J. Checked me in.She was very caring. I recently had to replace my battery in my Honda Passport. Since I was stuck in a parking garage I removed the battery myself. What a chore having to take apart many parts just to get to the battery. I was able to get help in purchasing a new battery and I put it in myself. HOWEVER! I was not able to replace all the parts that I removed. I managed to drive it to Santa Barbara Honda to get assistance. Justin, the general service manager, got Keith, a mechanic, to help get my parts back together. This was on a Friday afternoon. Justin was very cooperative in helping me get back on the road. I thank Justin and Keith for taking care of me. I just purchased my new Honda Hybrid Accord EX-L and had an outstanding experience at Santa Barbara Honda. As I wanted the Canyon River Blue (a rare color) and one with BSI (Blind Spot Monitor) which Honda was not including temporarily in the Hybrid EX-L because of the chip shortage it took a while. However, Drew Klein, my charismatic and extremely helpful salesperson kept me updated on shipments on a regular basis. Once he told me that the car of my choice was allocated to SB Honda, I made my deal with Drew and the amiable sales managers Benny and Phil. No high pressure, just a “nice & easy” negotiation to arrive at a fair deal. My introduction to SB Honda started a few months back as I met Regina Hale, the General Manager. She was kind enough to spend considerable time showing me the photos and specs of the new models that only dealers had, at the time, as the new 2023 line-up was just announced. Ms. Hale only asked when the car of my choice was allocated to give SB Honda the opportunity to sell me the car. Based on the committed sales staff at the dealership I did that and could not be happier as I received the old-fashioned handshake type of treatment from everyone which is rare to find these days. Therefore, I strongly recommend Drew and SB Honda if you are looking to buy a Honda!

Went there for basic maintenance. The first price they quoted me and put on all the paperwork was almost $400 until I pointed out I had Honda Care (which was plainly visible information on their screen) and they subsequently reprinted everything to show I actually had to pay them 0 dollars and 0 cents. Not sure why theyre trying to scam their own customers, but be careful about this place. Havent had this experience at any other Honda dealer, the Santa Barbara one might be a better option for you.

Chewie made sure to assist me with this and helped me with a ride there and home. Also explained every detail thoroughly. Christian, Tyler, Wendy and the whole staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. I did not feel pressured to buy a car even though we did end up buying from them. We had two very impatient children with us and the staff was very patient and kind to the kids, even going as far as to give them goodie bags! They were so easy to negotiate price with that I felt respected and valued as a customer. After all the paperwork and everything was done they even bought a bunch of girl scout cookies from my daughter, and the Treasurer, who was a woman and I wish I would have gotten her name, took time to talk to my daughter about being a strong woman in the workplace and reaching her goals. Even if we hadnt bought our car from them, I would have waited till they had something I liked because of the experience we had. 100% recommend this place. The only thing I would change is the Karr Security system is automatically put in and should be an option to the buyer, but would not keep me from going back. May 3 update: Owner’s apology changed nothing. Attempts to communicate with Mgr. Hale unsuccessful. E-mails unanswered. Phone calls unanswered. Mailbox always full. If this elder abuse is to be reversed, Mrs. Kim’s transactions should be nullified and her Accord returned. Short of that, Mrs. Kim asked to buy back her Accord for the $4,500.00 trade in credit she received. I’m Dr. ThompsonBeware of this dealership! My retired employee, a Korean in her seventies is NOT proficient reading or writing English. Having scraped the right side of her Accord while parking it in her carport, she had secured a AAA approved claim to repair the damage at the nearby Hughes Auto Body, who ordered the parts needed. Recently experiencing short term memory problems, and some cognitive impairment subsequent to a fall and concussion, she drove her car up the wrong driveway (Santa Barbara Honda), and asked that it be repaired. They took her car. Told her it was too old and badly damaged to drive. They had her sign papers she could not read or understand. When they were done, they had ownership of her low mileage car for a song. She was sold a 2023 Civic with a loan she could not afford. General Mgr. Regina Hale refuses to speak with family. I’m Dr. Thompson. I’ve reported this to the Sheriff.

They are sneaky, dishonest and not looking out for their customers at all. There is a current situation with Mrs. Kim where Honda basically committed elder abuse by selling her a new car when she only needed service on her old Honda. They could see that she was vulnerable and tricked her which put her in financial jeopardy in order to make a sale! They have been very uncooperative in sorting out this issue. I myself have had troubles with my new van which was not dealt with nicely or efficiently, but now I will never go to Santa Barbara Honda after knowing the way they treated this poor older lady. It is disgraceful.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Regina a Manager at this location. I thought I had a great opportunity considering employment here with her but she has been an extremely unprofessional manager, on my interview date/time she gave me she did not come out for an entire hour and had one of her associates come out and tell me she was not going to see me that day after having me wait patiently an hour. From what she told me I was hired, after that she started ignoring/ghosting me for a whole week and a half not taking into consideration I was putting other jobs aside for employment at Santa Barbara Honda. I would consider her phone at her office non existent as I have tried to call her for an update on my employment over 5 times among the few weeks and no answer. I went to her office to speak to her about my employment and as soon as I come in she has an extremely rude tone with me and starts to call me a liar among other things, there is a professional way to go about things and Regina was extremely unprofessional I have never been more humiliated by a manager. After close to 2 weeks of waiting on her call she calls me and lets me know she has changed her mind and is no longer considering me for employment. I was extremely relieved at this news as I would be no where near considering a job here with Regina as the manager.

Went to sb honda for oil change and tire rotation and found out tire rotation was not done. yes I marked my tire just to make sure it was done so I told the service rep and instead of fixing issue she gave me the run around and never admitted the error. So I DONT EVER RECOMMEND ever taking your car there even under new ownership, they will straight lie to you. The service rep never bother to at least say she would not charge me but she was only interested in making the dealer money even if it meant losing a client !!!!!I would give them ZERO STARS but google wont let me post without clicking a star.

There have been times where I’ve had to wait a long period, but I understand they get booked and the staffing can get short. I’d still recommend SB Honda over any other shop. The salesmen will lie to you about having a car on the lot that they do not have. We confirmed 4 times on the phone that they had a specific year and color on the lot. Salesman responded yes each time said he was “looking right at it”, we had already paid a deposit. when we got there 20 minutes later he says oh yeah I don’t have that color or year but let me show you this other car we had no interest in. Huge waste of time. We bought a Tesla instead.Edit: Thank you for your response, we asked for a specific color, you told us four times you had that color on the lot. Which was an absolute lie. Then you tried to sell us a model and color we didn’t want once you had us there. Just awful business practice, there was no way we were buying anything from you after that.

It is odd because Honda has such a great engineering team to create great cars, but Honda USA has in IMO no idea how to make its customers happy. Go to your local garage for anything simple.

I went to Santa Barbara Honda for an oil change and this was my first visit. I didnt expect too much because I read some bad reviews, especially about the extremely long waiting time. I just went there anyway because I wanted to use genuine Honda oil for my car. And it turns out their service was pretty quick and more than satisfactory. As soon as I brought my car to the service department, I was helped by Chuy, the service advisor, and he was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. I read that some people had to wait like 2-3 hours, so I just brought my laptop with me to do some work while waiting, but the whole thing was over in about half an hour. And then Chuy kindly explained everything and didnt try to add on services that I didnt request. Maybe I was lucky enough to make an appointment during off-peak hours, but everything was great. Price was also fair ($60). Thank you Chuy!

Went to this Honda to turn in my mother in laws truck that she had bought there and it was having problems so she had an appointment I took it in and was greeted by a nice lady who told me that it would take an 1-2 hours and it will be done well it ended up being 7 1/2 hours I missed my class for Ventura county fire academy and I was getting upset that I had been their that long which they then apologized and had loaned me a rental and when they did that we looked at the damn he it had and it had a lot of scruffs on the paint and the rims were scratched up which me and my wife pointed out to the elderly lady that was helping us which I’m not sure if she heard us she was just doing so much like she was rushing us out and fast forward I drove it home extremely carful like my life depended on it. The next day I had to go to school at the Ventura County fire academy and since I didn’t have the truck I took the car they loaned me and was extremely cautious I parked in the parking lot where it is an open parking lot and and no curbs whatsoever we’ll I just took the car in today which is Thursday and was accused of scratching the rims and the paint all the same scuffs and scratches that were already on the car and they said that there was red paint on the rims but where I live and go to school there is no red paint or red plastic composite this was just very irritating and to top it off the guy that works there Justin has been having a disrespectful attitude towards me he wouldn’t even let me talk and was just coming at me hard I’m just very upset as I called I had spoken with manners and respect he was very rude and saying that I’m irresponsible because I didn’t fill up the gas tank I had barley used any gas I only drove it twice so if u get a loaner car with these people I highly recommend that you take plenty of photos of the car so this does not happen to you

I worked with Kirby & Greg to purchase a 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid. Both individuals were very kind and helpful.There were a few hang-ups with the financing that I found to be frustrating but the dealership and I worked together to make the deal happen. I even ended up with better financing terms than I would have made out with from the start of the process when it was all said and done. I completed the customer satisfaction survey and was contacted by Greg from Honda to apologize for some of the initial frustrations at the beginning of the sale.I thought it was really nice that he took the time to apologize for the inconveniences and explain some items in detail. Went in for a routine service and oil change and as it can happen, a few discoveries were made on our Honda Pilot that needed immediate attention. Our service advisor, Bonnie went above and beyond to make sure we had all the necessary information to make informed decisions about service, made sure to show us visuals, helped me arrange a ride when I had missed the shuttle, and was just overall a fantastic person to work with on what could have easily been a stressful experience. At one point even spoke to the service manager Scott who was also incredibly helpful in making sure we were taken care of.

My boyfriend bought a certified pre-owned Civic here about 1 year ago. From the time that he bought it, it sputtered and was slow to start.He finally took it to get looked at at a different Honda dealership (we moved out of the area), and turns out that the fuel pump o-ring was pinched and there was an open recall on the fuel pump motor. It now starts perfectly.I’m questioning how the service team and sales team at this dealership missed this blatant issue since it has been going on since he purchased the vehicle. This should have been resolved before he ever even test drove it.Sales team was kind during the purchase process, but that doesn’t make up for being sold a vehicle with issues already existing.

Received a safety recall notice for my car and immediately made an appointment online. I received a confirmation shortly after for my preferred day and time (10/11 at 9:00am). Bonnie greeted right away when I arrived and was very helpful, knowledgeable and quick. The shuttle driver (wish I remembered his name) introduced himself and said he’d be waiting for me to take me to my destination. I rarely write reviews, making an exception in this case. DO NOT GO HERE.My wife took her vehicle in for a routine oil change. She came home that night with a $612 invoice. The highest line item on the invoice was a Major Maintenance line item which included a tire rotation and inflation to 32 PSI (treated as nominal maintenance literally everywhere else). Luckily the service team was kind enough to give her a $62 dollar coupon which brought the final charge down to only $550.Last time she took her vehicle there they tried to upsell her on half a dozen other services. I was there to put a stop to it then but kicking myself for not being there this time.Its unfortunate to see automotive shops doing this kind of thing, especially at a dealership. There are handful of other automotive shops nearby that Id recommend instead, including Big Brand, A&E, and Top Shop. All of these are within a half mile of SB Honda.

Last week we were doing college tours for our daughter at Westmont, UCSB and then up to Cal Poly SLO. When leaving Santa Barbara to head up to SLO, our 2012 Pilot began to experience some engine issues with a misfire in one of the cylinders. We then took it to SB Honda at 4:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon. We left the vehicle at the dealership to have some major repairs done. They allowed us to take a loaner vehicle to finish our tour up to Cal Poly SLO as they diagnosed and repaired the car by Friday morning.Outstanding service! I had a really bad experience at a different Honda dealership, I paid for a premium oil change service and tire rotation. A couple of days laters I was on my way to Arizona with my family, thinking that that specific Honda dealership had taken care of my vehicle and was ready for the trip. Imagine my surprise when I hear a piece of the car dragging while driving in the highway. It turns out the other dealership failed to properly secure the splash guard under the car, frustrated I called them and asked for a solution; short of them telling me I had to take it back, they didnt offer a real solution, they told me to take it to another dealership close to my location, and explain the situation to see if they could help. Turns out that dealership was Honda of Santa Barbara. Not only did they pick up the ball, but Bonnie went above and beyond to make sure that the car was in driveable condition for the trip, they took me in, even though they were so busy and made sure a solution was given. The bolts and pins needed to fix the guard were not properly replaced and they showed me how the other dealership didnt even attach the guard as it was intended. I have to say that without the service techs at Honda of Santa Barbara I wouldnt have made it in time to Arizona and would have lost my hotel reservations. Thank you so much!

Just bought a Pilot EX-L. The cost of the car was a little out of our league, but they were patient with us and waited for us to come around. By far the best deal I could find, Ventura didnt come close. They also came up to the price I needed for my trade in. I ended up selling it on my own, but was very impressed with how hard they worked to get me into this car. Baylee the sales guy was great, very mellow and knowledgeable, what he didnt know, he found out. Greg the Sales manager was awesome. He pulled all the right strings to make it happen and even threw in a couple goodies at the end.... We are very appreciative and impressed. All in all, a great experience. Awful experience with service here. Went in to get my air conditioner fixed and after dropping off the car was called to come pick it back up because they didn’t have the right parts to perform the service. A day later I got a call that the parts had come in and I could drop the car off next day for service. After dropping off the car, I never received any communications (although Jim told me he tried to call) that they actually didn’t receive one of the two parts needed to fix the air conditioner. After complete frustration, I went back a fourth time to pick up my unserviced car. It makes no sense that I was told the parts had arrived, but no one actually checked to see with their own eyes if they came. I will be taking all future services to another Honda.

Our 2004 Accord was having some scary issue - generating smoke and burning smell while driving. Turns out that it was related to a safety recall about the power steering fluid hose. My car was towed to Honda of Santa Barbara and Jim Woltman went the extra mile to help me get out of a bad situation. He is kind, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I also want to recognize Pam - she never made me feel like a fool for loosing my keys and treated me with kindness when I had to make multiple calls to the dealership that day. Ive been to many Honda dealerships in many different areas and I have to say that this place (hands down) was one of the worst experiences. Not only did it take 1 1/2 hours for a simple oil change (after scheduling the appointment to ensure I would be fit in), and after asking MANY times, they assured me that the car wash would be included in my 90 minute wait. After the 90 minutes past and I headed to pay, I was told it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes for a car wash. The staff isnt overly friendly and assume that this is just how service is, with an almost deal with it mentality. Such a disappointment -- Ill be finding a temporary oil change place until I can go back to a Honda dealership that lives up to their name.

He cancelled our 1st appointment because the initial manager, Greg that was helping was not there. Had a recall appointment and was told I could get a free rent a car since the person who scheduled the appointment told me it would take 2hrs for my service and I needed to work. When I got there, I told Jim that I would like to get a rent a car and come back and pickup my car at lunch, 2 1/2 hrs later. He convinced me there would be no need and I would be out of here quicker then it would take to get me a car. After waiting an hour I asked to speak with him, as I had not made arrangements with my work to be gone this long. He said they just started working on it. I asked why he told me it would be quick and he said he was sorry as he walked away. He didnt even hear me out, very rude. I ended up waiting over 2 hrs and had to skip lunch at work and working overtime to make up for my hours. Apparently they didnt have the part they needed and told me he would call me in 4 days to finish some electrical work. Very inconsiderate and horrible service. While I was here multiple other people had to wait 2 hrs for an oil change. At the dealership, thats an expensive oil change. I drove to work, late and frustrated. On my way home, as Im driving the car shuts off. No power. Basically, Honda didnt finish something and made me wait 35 minutes for a tow truck, 20 minute drive back to the dealership, and then I got a new rental car. Scott, the manager was great! Very considerate, listened to me, and got me the rent a car. Thats why I gave 1 star.

My car catalytic converter started acting up on the way to Santa Barbara. I googled area Honda Dealerships and found Santa Barbara Honda. Bonnie Jiminez greeted me warmly at the service desk as I arrived. She was so kind and reassuring. She drove me to the airport to pick up my rental car, and then helped me navigate my way to a wedding I was attending at the Bacara Resort, just in time for the wedding march! Bonnie went out of her way to calm me down. I was worried about the cost of repairs. Bonnie used a $25 coupon, without me even asking, to lower the cost of the repairs. The repairs were extensive, but I was grateful that I had come to an honest repair center. Rest assured that you are in good hands at Santa Barbara Honda. These people are caring and helpful!

Depends on what youre doing there, I guess. My wife and I went there on a Sunday afternoon, because we were in the market to lease a new Civic, and wanted to see what they had on hand. The first salesman we bumped into was Christian Medel, and he worked his rear off for us ... we saw pretty much every class of Civic they had, and he ended up finding us an EX that was within our budget range. The sales manager prepared at least three different lease proposals for us, on multiple cars/classes, so we could weigh the pros/cons of each, and once we picked the car/lease we wanted, the guys stayed past their closing time to get the car cleaned up and get our paperwork done. We never felt pressured or misled, and were naturally delighted with the car.

I have been to this place a few times for service. Originally I went in for transmission work and have been twice now to get a transmission problem fixed, but still no fix. Each time, I have unfortunately, dealt with Wayne K. He is totally worthless, unfriendly, and unhelpful. I was getting tired of the B.S. and today showed up at 4:15pm, when they close at 5, for a simple oil change. Wayne, being the worthless ogre that he is, says their finishing up their work for the day and close at 5, so they wont be able to help me. If their finishing up, then cant they do a simple oil change? I didnt realize it was good business policy to turn away paying customers. Where I work Ive never turned away anyone during business hours and this is finally the last straw for this shanty of a business. I will never go back and I suggest that you dont either. The service department, no matter the city I am in, is beyond superb.Just left this dealership after being very well taken care of by Justin Shores, Service Advisor. I am visiting my daughter who attends UCSB and her driving in a safe vehicle is very important to my peace of mind. The bumper on the Honda Accord she drives had become loose from the piece above and we wanted to fix it before it became a huge problem. Like just dropping on the freeway and creating a mess. Justin dropped everything he was doing, rescrewed the parts together, and we were on our way within 3 minutes. Seamless. And he referred me to a body shop who gave me an excellent quote should the problem return.Service with a smile! I find these crummy reviews below hard to believe. I called the SB Honda dealership 2 times to ask about my key fob that had stopped working. I wanted to see if they could tell me if it needed to be reprogrammed and is so they tell me how much it would be before I had to buy anything. Both times they told they would not charge to look at it and to bring it by and if I needed to reprogram or get a new key then they would charge for those services. Once I got there (and wasted time/gas) the guy at the service area told me it would be $110 just to tell me if it needed to be reprogrammed. I told him I had called twice and he did not seem to care. Which was annoying because I had called and specifically asked that. He was also rude about it as if it was ridiculous that I did not want to shell out $110 (possibly more if I did need the new key) for something that was going to take 5 min tops. I went home and googled it and fixed it in 15 min. Both keys work now! It was so simple and FREE! They just lost a customer. I will not be going to them for servicing anymore.

Dont go for service! They will rip you off! My wife saw that her maintenance light was on so she took it in. I guess she forgot that her father had serviced it not long ago. He did put, in a VERY visible spot, a note that said he put synthetic oil in it and the milage that it needed to be changed. The dealership did not tell her about the note and that she didnt need to get her oil changed and they changed it anyway and charged her $400. If they had told her about the note Im sure she would have realized that her dad serviced it and she didnt need to spend the extra money to get a lower grade oil put in. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!

One of their mechanics decided to try to pull a fast one on my wife and when she returned to pick up the car from what she had specifically requested as an oil change they had tried to charge for doing an inspection. This Inspection cost 300 dollars and the car is less than a year old. Not only completely unnecessary, but the way they went about it was very underhanded. We have used this Honda since we moved to Santa Barbara years ago and we will drive to Ventura now. If you still need to use it make sure you read the fine print and double check what they are asking you sign for. Be especially careful for a mechanic Able i believe his name was. Family road trip from San Diego to San Francisco and the battery on our old but usually trusty CRV started to die. It was late so I made a reservation online for the next morning. I gave 3 stars, Heres why.. one day I take my honda to get an oil change but I leave my wallet in the car (my mistake). My money ends up getting stolen along with a credit card of mine. Fyi the person uses it that night! Oh and I almost forgot to mention, they hit my car and made a dent in the bumper. Long story short, the guy gets away with my money and my credit card, Scott tried to find the thief but unfortunately couldnt but they did fix our car and supplied us with a free rental.If you are looking to get some car work done here, David Diaz comes highly recommended by me.
