What an amazing experience! The owner, Alan helped me start a new Verizon business account and purchase a new iPhone. The entire transfer process was seamless. The setup was quick, and I had no issues whatsoever with my line. Alans customer service is incredible! Thank you so much!

Alan is the BEST. He’s helped my family with phones and other services for years. He’s knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. It’s the sort of high integrity, small business mom and Pop shop vibe you rarely find anymore. Best in town.

They did a full aftermarket sound system build for me, head unit, front 3 way components, rear coaxials, JL Stealthbox and 2 JL amps. Great quality work, friendly employees and I highly recommend bringing them your business. At another local competitor, I felt overwhelmed and unwelcomed. Bringing my truck here I felt at ease that my truck was being worked on by honest and friendly professionals.UPDATE:After 4 years, I came back for a warranty fix for some corroded speaker wires in the door and they were able to make the repair same day at no cost to me. The same employees who installed my system 4 years ago remembered me and make the fix. At Santa Barbara Auto Stereo and Wireless I feel appreciated and valued as a customer and will return again whenever I build another sound system.

These guys are just amazing. I brought in my Volkswagen to get an entirely new sound system and they were so nice and very accommodating. They helped me get the best products possible and had my car done in only 2 days! The customer service is excellent and if you have any issues after your car is done theyre available to help you at a moments notice. Only place I would trust in Santa Barbara with my car.

I have an older Toyota Highlander that is in excellent shape and that I love--other than it not having the Bluetooth/GPS/Android Auto technology that a newer system provides. I got quotes from these guys and their nearest competitor (who is located much more conveniently)for a system that would provide this in a touch screen system. The other guys quote was for a basic Pioneer system that I thought sounded quite expensive, compared to what the unit sells for online. I decided to send SB Auto Stereo & Wireless the information on the exact same setup to see what their quote would be. Alan Gold responded quickly and went out of his way to beat the other quote while providing an even better (Alpine) system after explaining the differences and advantages between the Alpine and the Pioneer. Alan really knows his stuff and took the time to explain what I needed and why, while still offering to get me the Pioneer if that was what I wanted. His crew inspected my vehicle and audio setup and then he booked me an appointment for the very next day, even providing a ride (and great conversation) back to my office after dropping my vehicle off. The installation took exactly the estimated time and the price was spot-on without any surprises you sometimes encounter with installers after they start getting into the project. When I picked up the car, one of his crew walked me through the system setup and answered all of my questions. The result is an awesome-sounding system that fits perfectly in my dash as if it was installed from the factory. They also provide a lifetime warranty on the installation. I believe in giving credit where due and only wish I could give them more than 5 stars for every aspect of this project. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing auto stereo work. What a fantastic experience, and honestly about the opposite I expected from a stand alone stereo store. The staff and owner really seem to care that you get the best experience and are treated fairly. I brought an old SUV in to them and with a love for new shiny things I could have been up-sold very easily, but they explained what they thought was best, why I did not need the more expensive options, and I really feel that they took great care of me and my vehicle. Drove it home today, and I honestly feel that the stereo and sound and convenience of the unit I got exceeded everything I expected. That said, the stereo itself was exceeded by the service and staff at Santa Barbara Auto Stereo & Wireless. Thanks for a great experience.

SUMMARY (TLDR):If you want honest, seasoned, genuine AV professionals that will do a perfect installation and do everything possible to make you happy, look no further. Im now a life long customerSTORY:I wanted to install a backup camera system on my rear-view camera and ordered a highly reviewed one from Amazon. Having just moved to Santa Barbara, I looked for the highest reviewed place on Yelp and came across Santa Barbara Auto Stereo & Wireless.Mikey was extremely friendly when I walked in and while he was a bit reluctant about the unit, agreed to charge me labor only to install it. When I came back after the unit was installed, I was really pleased with how clean the install was but extremely disappointed in the quality of the camera I purchased on Amazon.While it was no fault of their own, they empathized with my situation and Alan (The owner) was adamant to make it right. He patiently worked with me and my budget and by the next day, I had one of his suggested units perfectly installed in my vehicle.A week later and I couldnt be happier. Its exactly what I wanted and Im so glad ive found an honest shop I can rely on for my future needs. Thanks to Alan and the team at Santa Barbara Auto Stereo & Wireless. These guys replaced the stock audio head unit in my 2016 4Runner with an Alpine iLX-W650 unit and installed a 5-channel amp and 10” sub. It sounds AMAZING! I couldn’t be happier. They were able to do it right away and had it done a few hours later! It’s evident they know what they’re doing and I felt like they strive to do great work. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for any car audio services. Thank you!

I have to say that when I went into SB Auto Stereo & Wireless I got the best customer service Ive had in a long time! I was telling a few people that this was the kind of customer service companies used to give all of their customers, but sadly is missing in many companies today. Alan and Kevin spent over an hour each trying to get me a good monthly plan for my new Verizon phone. Then Mike sat down with me for about 20 minutes to show me how to use my new iphone. I will always be getting my phones from SB Auto Stereo and would highly recommend them.
