I have had a great experience as a patient for Dr. Dhaliwal at San Ramon Smiles. He is down to earth, very easy to talk to and his knowledge and skills are extremely professional and precise. The office is set up with very up to date dental equipment.I appreciate the effort they put in to send out reminders for appointments.My appointments are started on time with minimal to no wait time.The staff is very friendly, all my cleanings have been done professionally and with outstanding results.

I’ve been going to Dr.G for literally all my dental needs for many years, and I would never go anywhere else even if my insurance changed. He is patient, kind, thorough, gentle, super funny, and circling back to gentle he always assures I’m properly numb! He also follows up on treatments to make sure everything is okay, that’s rare these days. Can’t recommend him highly enough!!

I have recently switched from my current dentist to Dr. Dhaliwals practice after a very close friend recommended. During my first visit with Dr. Dhaliwal, I was impressed with the care I received from Dr. Dhaliwal. He listened to my problem and suggested 3 different options, and I am trying the one that is very simple in terms of procedures. The main thing that made me feel more comfortable that I felt that I am fully involved in my dental issue treatment plan. Dr. Dhaliwal explained the possible issue and options to fix it starting with the simple one.I have made second appointment for routine cleaning with Dr. Dhaliwal as I think I have found the dentist that I was looking for.

This is my first time here and very impressed with the exceptional care. Highly organized, all the paper work was done in advance. It was a 2-hour appointment since it is the first visit and they infact spent full 2 hours for me. Agnes was very friendly, professional, gentle and experienced. Dr. Dhaliwal was very sincere with his recommendations and explaining the options. I am flattered to see him not marketing or stressing on any particular treatment but clearly explaining Pros, Cons, options. Very pleasant experience overall and definitely exceeded my expectations!

My first experience here was incredible. I was welcomed in with warmth from Melissa and it was a great start. I saw Sabrina for my cleaning and she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and took her time with me. She was gentle and put me at ease with her steady hands and talking me through everything she was doing. I really appreciate her telling me why she was doing what she was doing as well and explaining what she would be looking for while cleaning my teeth. This great experience was followed up by meeting with Dr. Dhaliwal and he was equally as knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. He made me feel heard and gave me options on any issues I had and what they could offer me. I did not feel rushed and really enjoyed my time here for my first appointment. Ive been very happy with Dr. Dhaliwal since moving to the bay 2 years ago. He came highly recommended and has been great thus far. Dr. Dhaliwal replaced one of my super old fillings 1.5 years ago and used to tool to only numb the one tooth which was awesome. He had really great bedside manner and frequently ask how i was doing during the procedure. Recovery was super quick and Ive had zero problems. The staff is professional and friendly, they do a great job with cleaning, and perform a thorough evaluation of your teeth and your x rays. With covid, they are taking your temperature when your enter and my hygienist (who was in my mouth the longest for cleaning) was double masked and had a eye shield - safer for both of us. Highly recommend!

This might have been the nicest dentist office I have ever visited. The service was impeccable! The X-Rays were done with a state of the art machine and seemed more thorough than any I have had before. The hygienist who did my cleaning was very gentle yet determined, and constantly checked to ensure I was OK and offered breaks, etc. Dr. Dhaliwal is terrific - I knew immediately that I was in good hands and that he knows what he is doing. His interest and concern in providing good care is very genuine. Highly recommend!

I had been going to the same dentist in the San Ramon Valley for a very long time, 20 years plus! I felt like I wasn’t getting the expert advice and care that I needed, so it was time to go to someone new. I got a recommendation from a specialist who had worked on my teeth before and I trusted his opinion. My first visit was today and I am thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked into the office, you could tell it was a first class practice. For starters, the gal at the front desk was very kind and welcoming.I needed to complete some information for the practice before my first visit and she assisted me. I then met with the hygienist, Sabrina and she explained everything she was going to be doing with me and then she answered any and all questions I had. She took pictures, and numerous X-ray’s of my entire mouth. She checked all the areas around my gums and then cleaned my teeth.Then the dentist came in, checked the X-ray’s and looked over my mouth. He recommended a few things after examining my teeth. So amazingly gentle, both the hygienist and the dentist. I don’t know why I was nervous about coming, but they totally squashed any reason to be. A fantastic experience! If I rated the difference between the previous dentist and this one, I would say it would be like going to Sak’s fifth avenue after going to Walmart previously!

Over the weekend I was out of town snd cracked my back molar. I called first thing Monday morning and left a message. I received a call back and they got me in that afternoon. My review of Dr. Guri Dhaliwals office is overdue. Ive been going here for 3 years and am happy with the staff, professionalism and service this office provides. I like that I can text message the office conveniently and can easily book or cancel appointments. The staff is quick at getting back to you and they accommodate any scheduling conflicts and also provide referrals. The office is very efficient and theres not a lot of downtime to wait and Im in and out the door fairly quickly.Dr. Guri is very personable, down to earth and overall a knowledgeable, solid and honest dentist. He doesnt try selling you things and looks out for the best of your well being and overall dental care. I like that he talks through his procedures and gives you details of each step so you know exactly what to expect. Not only do I appreciate that but its also a teaching moment as a patient. He doesnt just state what he will do next, he shares why is he performing the next step and explains what tool or gadget he has and why.I highly recommend this office and Dr. Guri. The staff and hygienists are fantastic and super nice. I love my experience and visits each time.

Even then, they create a great atmosphere where patient comfort is a priority. We are confident in his care and know he has our best interest in mind. I chose this dentist years ago in search of the perfect office. Im very picky due to years of bad dentistry. I dont feel like my gums get tore up by the hygienist with a cleaning like most other places Ive been, but my teeth feel completely clean and great when I leave. I had an amazing experience. I went to see Dr. Dhaliwal because my dentist was recommending a crown that he couldnt schedule for a month. I didnt want to wait so long so I went to Dr. Dhaliwal and he recommended I see an Endodontist before doing anything. It turned out that the problem was actually with a different tooth altogether. The Endodontist (Dr. Ryan) completed the root canal and Dr. Dhaliwal completed the permanent filling. I really appreciate that Dr. Dhaliwal went through the extra effort and got me in to all the appointments both with his office and Dr. Ryan, immediately!!!! Thank you!!!

I originally came to the practice to help make a video for their website and I have done many different dentist office videos but for some reason when I talk to Dr. Dhaliwal he just seemed like such a good and authentic dentist in person that I decided to give him my trust which I’ve always had such a hard time with dentist. It was definitely a decision that I am super happy that I mean my first visit with him I was extremely anxious and almost couldn’t sleep the night before and then after that initial visit I know I feel so much more confident in myself and with also going back to the Denist. This is by far one of the best and one of my most favorite dentist offices that I’ve ever visited and had the pleasure of working with I now drive over an hour each way just to see Dr. Dhaliwal as my new dentist.

Worst dentist experience ever! Dont be cheated by the 5-star reviews! They cheat on price! We have newly moved to the area and my husband was in search of a good dentist. He went to this one base on the reviews, but found it be extremely disappointing. Wondering how they get all the 5-star reviews!My husband went there for an oral exam. The service was mediocre as it was only a regular oral exam. he was then referred to an endodontist for a root canal. Everything was okay until then. After the root canal, the endodontist referred him back to do the filling of that tooth . Appointment then became very difficult even though he called several times to say that the filling needed to be done within 2-3 weeks which was what endodontist said. An appointment was finally made when he said he would have to go to another dentist if they could not make him an appointment. So they only care whether we will stay with them, but never cared about the urgency of our needs. All through the time my husband was waiting for an appointment, he received an email almost everyday asking him to write a review for them. But worse is yet to come.My husband was charged $172 for that filling and we paid 50% ($86) on the spot as the other 50% ($86) was supposed to be covered by the insurance. It turned out that they submitted $362 to the insurance, which got rejected in full. So they are now requesting us to pay $362 (minus the already paid $86) for the service instead of the original $172, claiming that this is the amount allowed by the insurance. This is so absurd! What does the insurance have to do with this if we are to pay for the full price?Will never ever come back!
