The pet clinic boasts a clean environment and a genuinely pleasant staff. The new vet is friendly and does an excellent job at explaining everything. However, be prepared for the high cost, as the recommendations for additional services can quickly escalate your bill. While the quality is top-notch, its important to be aware that exceptional care comes at a premium.

The front desk office staff are AMAZING!!! Friendly, caring and helpful!Dr. Popp is a genuine guy! Seems to understand my financial predicament and helps as much as he is able. My Bobbie is still very expensive. But Im very happy with the care hes receiving at this clinic!

Sadly this pet clinic has drastically changed. The old staff is no longer there, they no longer have overnight staff to care for your fur babies. My dog has health issues that were once handled by this clinic that they no longer provide. unfortunately it looks like I may need to find a better fit clinic for my babies. I understand now why this place isnt as crowded as it once was.

Best pricing and very caring staff. Took my cat in and they did everything they could to help her. Unfortunately shes not going to get better... But theyve made her last moments very comfortable and pain free. 100% recommended! They take walk ins or appointments for a cheaper price.Edit: They sent me a card after her passing at their clinic and Im so happy they took the time to sent this to me. It even has hand written messages from the staff. Ill be going to this place for any other pet related stuff and have even recommending it to my friends and therapist

The staff at San Dimas Pet Clinic was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Luna came in as a same day appointment for an eye infection and was treated right away upon our arrival. The staff kept me updated in every step of her treatment and even took the time to show me how to properly administer her eye medicine. Luna was at ease, which is a good indication of how the staff treat the pets that come to their office. I highly recommend this clinic for your pet’s vet needs. Luna’s eye condition significantly improved within 24-48 hours of her treatment.

San Dimas Pet Clinic has changed significantly (for the worse) since the split. I checked their reviews after leaving today 😱 wondering if it was just me. Needless to say I am not taking my pups there ever again! I decided to follow the original doctors who are at the Via Verde Animal Hospital in San Dimas. The San Dimas Pet Clinic is also now super costly and they charge for things the clinic never charged for prior to the split such as a technician fee - Via Verde Animal Hospital does not charge for that. I get all my puppies their vet exams here and I do all surgeries, etc here. two months ago my black female Pomeranian, Lucy got spayed. she only had to actually wear the cone for 2 weeks because her sutures were so well done they were healing completely over almost all the way by her three week recheck.

Brought my pet a couple weeks ago and went in with an open mind and open to all suggestions to make sure my baby was getting the best treatment and care. They did such a great job. I felt comfortable and the Dr. was so so detailed. Thank you. My puppers is home and healthy.

I appreciate that this pet clinic took in my dog when I could not get an appointment elsewhere. However, I spent close to $700 and did not get good answers on what was going on with my dog. I went to a new location and within minutes the Vet knew what was going on and put my dog on a path to healing. I gave my dog medicine on the vets recommendation and my dog was not getting better. 1 day after going to a different vet office my dog is already looking and feeling better. I wish I could get my money back since nothing they provided helped.

UPDATE: I was contacted by management after leaving my review and was pleasantly surprised to hear that the crooked doctors were no longer at SDPC. I also graciously received a refund for the bloodwork that was never delivered and lied about. This led me to giving them another chance.I brought in my dog in January of 2023 due to a nasty eye infection. She was seen and given medication. After a day she had not improved and instead continued to decline. I called and got her in again- we saw the dr (can’t remember her name)& i requested something else because she had not improved and was clearly suffering (it was bad). What i disliked is that the doctor asked ME what i wanted. She is the veterinarian that should know what is best. Anyways i asked for a steroid shot and low and behold, she improved by the next day.I found it to be poor quality of care due to having to bring my dog back in because of her lack of healing with the original care plan she received. With the extent of her eye infection I believe that an anti inflammatory should have been administered since day 1. And it was me- not the veterinarian that had to think of that and request it.. with that my dog suffered longer than she should have. Grateful she got better but it took a whole two visits.I highly doubt i’ll ever be visiting again. WORST vet ever took my cat bc he stopped eating & drinking water & visibly sick and they didn’t know what was wrong and gave him medicine that HAD to be eaten with food ( although I had stated the cat is not eating) & then they gave him something to make him hungry??? (he was obv hungry he just couldn’t hold any food down) so yk that probably made my cat more in pain. None of the medication made him better I think it made him even more sick and vomit more. Just put my cat down today bc he was suffering. Don’t bring your pets you might have to put them down 3 days later. ALSO the price was 650 dollars. Only care about money not your pets.Update: I got a call from them wanting to talk about the review I left them and I said no bc they will just probably try to excuse themselves. if you’re a pet owner and reading this PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER VET*And to the owner of this God awful establishment DO NOT EVER CALL ME AGAIN

They took excellent care of my baby and made me comfortable with leaving her there to get better. they were also very nice on the phone when I called to check up on her. I understand they can be busy but it didnt sound like it on the phone. When I went to go pick her up in a few days they had nothing but sweet things to say about my puppy. The experience was wonderful! The doctor, technicians, and clerical staff were all very professional and did an excellent job of making our pets diagnosis, medication, and payment plan clear. I love that the doctor allowed us to see our cat in the back after one night of his hospitalization. My 8-year old son missed our cat and it meant a lot to him to see our cat, though he wasnt yet going home. The doctor seemed very sensitive to the needs of our cat and understood our concerns. We had a great experience and will continue coming back to the clinic in the future! Thank you so much for taking care of Shadow!

This is unfortunate. I like Dr. Pop, he sees my pup and Im not sure if it was him who saw my senior dog yesterday, would he have sent him home also with just a couple of meds knowing that hes unable to breathe. My dog was taken to the ER a couple of nights ago due to labor breathing. ER doc told us that hes fine, tests looks good and told us to follow up on his primary vet and so we did. Dr. Hines saw him the following day, reviewed his medical records and concluded the same, also adding that might be due to his age as well, but missing key important details on the report. She sent him home with an anti-biotic and anti-anxiety pills, however I knew something was not right still because he was literally wheezing and gasping for air, therefore, I found his old vet who treated him at this clinic before, but had moved to a different clinic and took him there instead. He took one look at the report and said his lungs are NOT clear. I was shocked but kinda expected that due to the symptoms he was showing. Basically, ER dr and Dr. Hines failed to tell me that my dogs lungs are practically collapsing due to infection. Dr. Daman took xrays and showed me the comparison of a healthy lung vs. my dogs. He immediately advised to keep him for a few hours under oxygen and will send him home with inhaler, more antibiotics to expand his lungs etc... If I had not decided to take him to Dr. Daman, IDK what would have happened to my dog. I think its important that vets pay attention to ALL details especially when it comes to breathing problems.

Its in a bit of a hole in the wall location, but centrally located among other popular businsses. The vet I saw treated my dog and seemed to do a competent job. My reason for giving this vet clinic only 2 stars is because of the prices on their services, specifically pet dental cleaning. They are outrageous. I always thought my previous vet was a bit high, albeit only a bit; but, this clinic charges twice what my previous clinic charges. Its about 1.25 hours drive to my previous vet, but it is well worth it to save over $200 per pet. With 10 cats and a dog, the savings will equal a small fortune! Too bad.

The staff & vet are great, but the prices are astronomical. $700 to get my cat spayed... holy cow!!! I would have loved to bring her here for this service because she has gotten her vaccines & deworming here (decent prices for these kinds of services), but there are other places that are MUCH more affordable for spaying/neutering.

Crooks in dressed in Vet outfits! This place will do anything for money! My friend had his pup drop by for a check up as he wasn’t feeling well. The clinic offered various tests and x-rays. Obviously when your pup is sick, you will pay them the kitchen sink. One of the tests, they told my friend that his pup has something stuck in his digestive system and it’s the reason why he’s not able use number 2. The pup was having stomach issues for a couple of days prior to the vet visit. They recommended surgery on the pup because the blockage is unknown and it can lead him to have issues. The pup was doing better but the clinic kept on pushing for the surgery! On the day of the surgery, they just barely grazed the pup’s skin and didn’t have to open up his stomach! This whole time they said that they need to operate on him to get that mysteries object out. This visit started as a $2800 visit just became a $8000 visit for the so called surgery! These people are crooks that hide behind the white coats. They rob people when they are at their lowest and most vulnerable. Be ware if you take your pet in, they don’t care about the pets! How can you cut up an innocent pet that doesn’t need it? This is disgusting as a medical professional.

I only put one star because its necessary to leave a review. But very unsatisfied with their service! I called in because my cat has fleas and the main reason why I brought him was to give him oral medication I called before to confirm. And they said they had it. So I take him in they charged me first only to tell me they didnt have that medication that it was expired and give me a prescription . As if its that easy to find medicine for pets! If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my cat there for a UTI and a URI. Dr wanted to run all kinds of test, some were unnecessary. Wanted to charge me almost $800.00. For just the test not including what ever treatment she would need. I asked if they could give her antibiotics for The UTI and her congestion. Dr refused. They advertise for new customers a free exam. When I checked out the charged me $60. When I showed her the advertisement she told me that’s only if you go along with the Drs tests. So if you don’t do all the unnecessary testing that they try and cram you with the free exam doesn’t apply which was not explained in their advertisement. I wouldn’t trust these people with any animal! Money hungry and try to take advantage of your emotions with your pets. Took her the same day to another vet and did blood work and an X-ray and treated her with antibiotics which was half the price of just their tests.After seeing the owners response to my review: TOTAL LIES!!!! I have had my cat for 11 years I know her history..As far as any discounts offered there was NONE OFFERED! I did ask if I could get medication to go home for the infection she had and the Dr refused because he said he didnt know without doing the test what to give her. And by the way if he had really done an exam he would have seen the huge abscess on her front tooth that was the cause of her infection. I dont even know if he really examined her because I wasnt able to go in the room with her. I would think that looking in an animals mouth would be part of the exam. So not only are you money hungry, you are also LIARS!You might want to look at the other reviews here because there are a lot of them that are saying the same thing as I. I only wished I had seen their reviews before I went to your unethical establishment.

We took our cats to this clinic for about 2 years and the treatment weve received has been overly expensive. The vets have added extra exams that our cats havent needed and have already gotten which has led to us paying more than we shouldve. A doctor there also called me to see how my cats were doing and I told him they still needed treatment, however this pet clinic was too expensive. He then proceeded to ask where I would take my cat since it was still sick. I told him I would take it to another clinic and the doctor bad mouthed that clinic. That is unprofessional and shouldnt be said if another clinic is actually trying to help my animals.

Dont recommend. It felt like we were taking the car in for a check up. No compassion. They took her back for an exam. The girl came back out with a paper saying they wanted to charge $648;for a ton of tests when she has a uti and didnt need x-rays and a ton of other tests listed, would of caused unnecessary stress on my dog. When we refused they said do you want us to still do the exam? Which means they tried to con us of $648 before a vet even looked in my dogs direction!

The reason for only 4 stars:The front desk should be on the same page than the back office. Example that happened to me: back says the doctor will be back within an hour, front says they don’t know when the doctor comes back and IF he comes back at all.I also had a question about the price and instead of redirecting me to the doctor I was told “I HOPE the price stays the same..” which was very concerning to me as a customer. I had to ask for the doctor myself so I can discuss the pricing concern that I had again.Other than that: 5 star experience with the doctor himself and his immediate helpers.Surgery was scheduled same day, dog came out of surgery as happy as you can be after 2 hours, scar was stapled and glued. Medication was given, new appointment scheduled for staple removal right away.The lady that checked me out was very knowledgeable, made me feel confident that everything is handled, was able to provide on point answers.Clinic offers payment plans through scratchpay and helps you through the process.

Took my dog to get her treated as she got sick and it took almost 45 minutes to just get her examined. They then told me they needed to do blood work which would take 45 ish mins which was fine but it took nearly 15-20 for the veterinarian to even come in and discuss the results after they called me to come in and discuss the results. After they told me she would get a shot And would take 20 mins but they took 45 minutes to even bring her back out and that was after I asked for her 2 times. Not to mention the prices are extremely high. Wouldn’t recommend.

After discovering a growth on our dogs rear end, we found the San Dimas Pet Clinic on a map search. We found the entire staff to be very professional and helpful. The doctor clearly discussed our options and answered all our questions. They performed the surgery quickly and our dog is recovering now with no issues. The final bill was very reasonable and we are extremely happy with our experience. The extended hours are very convenient for appointments and pickup. We highly recommend this business for your vet needs.

It is very clean! you cannot smell dog pee or anything else and it is not easy to keep such a busy place so clean. The staff is amazingly friendly, patient, responsive. Doctors are knowledgeable, have late technology and spend some time with you after every appointment and answer your questions. I highly recommend this clinic if your dog has health problems. It is not cheap :( but what can we do if not pay for our furry friends for a perfect service?

The Vet’s office was able to accommodate me at a very late notice (I believe they had already stopped taking walk ins for the evening, when I told my situation, the dr. agreed to see my fur baby.) this shows commitment to their profession and compassion to their patients. Dr. Daman was very compassionate and explained everything to me and put a plan to help my fur baby get through her condition. He didn’t do a lot of unnecessary tests just so he can bill me, but only what was necessary. I appreciate that since vet bills can be very expensive. We need more independent veterinarians who will do what’s best for our pets. So many vets are now corporate owned and once the office is owned by the big corp/pharma, things start going down hill. I’m so glad I found San Dimas Pet Clinic.

I would give a negative star if possible. This clinic has gone way downhill. I have brought my pet here before and the staff and doctors were good but lately the service has been terrible. They refused to see my dog even though he has a hurt foot. They said they have to tranquilize him to see him even though his last 10 appointments have been without medication. This place isnt about the animals anymore. Its just become a money grab which is really sad as this used to be a quality clinic.

The first time I came here was for an emergency when I found out my cat caught pneumonia. The staff were wonderful and kind the entire process as I wss nervous and shaking. Afterward I found out my cat now had a bunch of fans because she is such a sweetheart to people that everyone was excited to see her again for her yearly checkup and vaccines.Additionally I took my senior terrier to have his eyes checked up on because something seemed off and after many of attempts to find out if my dog had allergies or something else, they helped me discover he has glaucoma! They referred me to an veteranery othometry office and now he is doing much better.The help they gave me when my cat was ill and my dogs eye swole like one of those egg stress balls was amazing. They may not always have the easiest appointment time management because emergencies happen and you might need to wait longer for your appointment. Luckily they shower the waiting pets with affection as they wait their turn and will call you when its time to pick up your pets.I switched both my dog and cat to this vet because they feel safe here and the price point is much more affordable for me.

My kitten got diagnosed with congestive heart failure here...and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for lifelong meds. Luckily another patient in the waiting room told me about an online pet med website that was 1/8 of the price for the same exact meds. Then after spending almost 1000$ all together with her spay and exrays telling she was sick, I called 2 years later to put my cat down because her condition was worsening they quoted me 900$!!In a nut shell this place is SUPER EXPENSIVE and rude staff.

Honestly, this has been one of the best vet experiences Ive ever had.My dog had received his yearly vaccines a few days prior at another, unrelated vet clinic. I asked about his strange urination habit of what seemed like peeing for a rather long period of time (it had started maybe two days before). Was told not to worry about. Three days later my dog is shaking from pain and is leaking urine out of his urethra. Googled for emergency vet, made a quick phone call, and within 15 minutes my dog was being examined and within an hour we had a diagnosis with the exception of one because it was the weekend. He had a three day, two night stay at the San Dimas vet clinic. Final diagnosis was a severe UTI with some fluid in his lungs and an inflamed pancreas due to UTI.The exams and tests were thorough, results well explained and I gained an understanding as to why my dog needed the specific medications and treatments he did, as well as potential causes for all this. I received calls updating on how he was doing and if anything changed in his condition. They definitely care about your pet as if it were their pet and I cannot thank the San Dimas Pet Clinic enough.I received:Complete Physical ExamX rayRadiograph of chest and abdomenBlood Work (Red and White blood cell count, calcium levels, etc)Urinalysis for several bacteria genus and checking for crystals (sign of kindey/pancreas damage)Five medications ( two antibiotics, pain reliever, an antacid because the antibiotics can cause indigestion, and an appetite inducer)Prescription for dog food (he is a pure bred bulldog is getting chunky, so hes on a diet now. He is not happy. Fits have been thrown)IV with antibioticsTwo night, three day stayTotal: $2500Price SOUNDS like a lot but look at what was done! Keep in mind I had taken him to another vet days prior. Yeah, Im fine with the cost. My dog got to come home. He is healthy and Im thankful for that.Edit: Reading some peoples issues with this clinic and it seems like people were upset not at the clinic but that their fur baby had to stay at the clinic one or two nights and it got expensive. Overnight stays are pricy anywhere. And why does price matter when its your pet? This is what pet insurance is for as well. Also, they are extremely busy and sometimes forget to call. I was told Id get a call in the evening about my dog. I didnt. So I called them and asked for an update. Within minutes I had an update on my dogs condition, potential complications, etc. Not that big of a deal. If something is wrong, they will call and tell you ASAP. You have ONE pet to worry about; they have EVERYONES pet to worry about. Chill.

Where should I begin?? Ok so I’m not even writing because I am a client at this place. I am writing because I responded to an ad on indeed in hopes to getting a job at this place. First off, I spoke with one of the vets and had a phone interview. Came in, met Blanca the manager. I had to come back for a work interview, which I thought went well. That same day, she said I will call you. No call, no email, nothing. It has been about a month. Mind you, I did not get paid for this work interview. So waisted time and my gas. I made several attempts to call and speak with her, she’s always busy. So this, to me sounds like avoidance. So with that being said, this lady has no integrity, or respect. This place displays poor character, so you can imagine how you will be treated at this place.

This is the only place we will take our cats! They always take such good care of them and make sure they are thorough. We first went to them about a year ago and they saved our cats life. He had gotten fixed and the place we went BUTCHERED him. He opened the sutures since they said he didn’t need a cone and was bleeding so badly. The vet here fixed him and made sure to double check him. Another time, when our cat got sick they kept him overnight and took great care of him, even calling us to give us updates while they cared for him. They have reasonable prices compared to local places and their staff is always amazing and helpful. If you want the best care, come here!

This place is wonderful. I was recommended to come here after my cat was having complications peeing. I went there on a Sunday and got some medication to help him. However, the blockage had gotten so bad that the medication had no effect. He spent all night trying to pee and on Monday morning, he acted like he was in a lot of pain. I knew he needed treatment but I didnt get paid until Thursday. I called the clinic and told them my situation. I told them that he needed help but I couldnt pay for it until Thursday, despite them usually taking payments up front, they made an exception for me and allowed me to bring him in that day, have him treated for 3 days, and pay them that Thursday when I got paid .I am SO thankful for this humanizing clinic and their understanding. I honestly do not know what I would have done if they hadnt worked with me. I would absolutely recommend this place.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!One day, my dog was completely lethargic and had refused to eat and drink. As a concerned dog parent, I took her to the Clinic to have her examinedAfter the doctor has examined her, they suspected a viral infection in her stomach (which was correct) and they needed to run tests, give her IV fluids, and keep her overnight.Once the doctor finished explaining, the Vet Tech came in with the bill and it mentioned a TWO NIGHT STAY.I asked her to double check because the doctor said only an overnight stay. She checked and said theyre going to charge me for TWO nights and if it ends up being ONE night, theyll remove the extra charge.At this point, I was already skeptical, but with how terrible my dog was feeling, I had no choice but to agree and sign off.Before leaving, I asked when should I be expecting an update and they told me that it would be later in the morning.I was restless all night and by the morning, I still had not received an update. I figured they were busy and gave them a call. They told me they didnt have an update yet but theyll notify me around 3 or 4PM.By 4PM, still NO UPDATE. I was beginning to become upset. My dog had been in the clinic for 24 hours and no one gave me an update.I waited until around 5:30PM/6PM and just showed up to the office to ask for an update so they could not avoid me.After waiting, I was able to speak to Dr. Dhillon and he explained that she would have to stay ANOTHER NIGHT!I was furious because no one had updated me at all and I had to show up in-person to demand one. Keep in mind, they were nearing closing time, so when exactly were they planning on giving me an update?!?!? Were they just gonna close and force her to stay another night?!?!?I let my frustrations out on Dr. Dhillon and the staff and at that point, I DID NOT think they were doing what was best for my little one. Dr. Dhillon pulled the I had been in surgery all day card, but that is no excuse as to why I could not have been updated in my dogs health.I considered just taking her home that night and Dr. Dhillons response was, yes, you can take her home. You already paid for it anyway.As someone who is in the medical field and dealt with patients firsthand, this was disheartening and infuriating to hear coming from the doctor. His statements came off as if his motives were about the money (which totaled to around $3.5K).I was COMPLETELY FURIOUS, but had no choice because I knew my dog would not recover properly unless she staged another night, so I had no choice.*Keep in mind, there is no staff overnight to watch any of the pets staying there. They explain that they have cameras and that one of the staff lives 20 MINUTES away should anything go wrong. Smh.*At that point, the office already knew how upset I was, so after leaving that night, I was getting constant updates from them on my dog for the next 12-18 hours. It was just a shame I had to reach that point with them just to get proper updates.I had been in the medical field all my life and have never seen service/patient care that bad.I was able to take my dog back home the next day and she was back to being herself, thank god, but I would NEVER take her back here again and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!I hardly ever write negative reviews but I needed to share my experience. Three months ago we sadly had to put our beloved 12 year old kitty cat down due to kidney disease.As much as it hurt. This was our only option. We decided on getting her paw print impression so we can have something physically to have her spirt in our home. We were told we would receive the impression a few weeks later.Fast forward two months later we never received ANYTHING. We went to the clinic to figure out was the issue was, only to find that the impression had been lost.The staff was beyond unprofessional & unsympathetic. They simply said it had “been lost”. We never received an update prior. If we wouldn’t have walked in the clinic they most likely wouldn’t have even notified us that our baby’s print had been lost. As a pet owner of three cats this hurt us more than anything.I don’t understand how these people that work with animals can be SO CARELESS! Quick to take our money! But don’t even care to do their job correctly! As loving pet owners we are so so heart broken over this. AVOID THIS CLINIC!!!!!!

My kitty Artemis spay incision got infected. My vet is closed 3 days a week and every vet I called couldnt take her. This place had the best customer service all around. Very friendly amazing staff that you can tell have the utmost love for animals. Definitely recommend this vet! ❤

Doctor Dhillon in this office is an absolute crook! My dog had eaten a bunch of bread pudding (which was filled with chocolate and grapes), so in panic I took her straight to the vet. This was the only vet open at the time because it was a Sunday. Doctor Dhillon tried to charge me $1,500 with about $1,000 of services that were completely unnecessary. He wanted to keep my dog there over night, and charge me $40 each for about 4 different vitamins that anyone can just buy in little tablets for a couple of dollars. After telling him to remove everything from the bill that had either not been done yet or is not absolutely necessary, he came back with a bill that was still $800! I told him that I am not paying that much money as I am a student and can not afford it. Eventually I talked him down to about $550 which was the lowest he was willing to go, but still way higher than any other vet would. He was clearly trying to take advantage of a young, new dog owner in a tough situation with no other vets to go to. I dont recommend this vet to anybody.

Do not go to this clinic if you need any beyond vaccinations. Took my pet for a possible medical condition. 1,000 dollars later they said I had to go somewhere else. They were not equipped to continue. The labs they took came in the next day but they said they couldn’t tell me the results since the doctor wasn’t in. I asked when he will be in. They said sometime later this week (it was Tuesday). So I probably wouldn’t know days. I asked for a refund since they could not follow through with the labs. They refused. It’s a scam.

Our Alaskan Huskie was in terrible shape. I called our vet office who we have been using for 16 years. I was told they were closing soon and would not stay open to look at our pet. I explained Sage our dog looked like she was ready to die. They could care less. I did not get upset I got on computer and found this wonderful pet clinic. They saved our pet. We are extremely grateful beyond words. Dedicated and professional is my view on this facility. Long story short I will be taking all our pets to San Dimas Pet Clinic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I got my dog back from my dog watcher In not the best condition he had an eye infection n look terrible dirty . They watch him fro months.he had ticks n scabby ears which worried me. But I went to this vets n they were able to lay out prices n wat for clearly to me before asking for approval. I appreciate I was able to get seen the day of n an hour later before I called with appointment. With appt. u pay 65 deposit n without u pay 100 straight.at first the price look at maybe 2000 but I cut out unnecessary things they try to do so much n give so many medicines. So I narrow it down to liek 900 ish which I think is pretty high to treat an eye infection, some scrapes, and an ear infection he was also nauseous.but I appreciate that they clean his ears n trim his hair like I appreciate them caring for other things than wat I came in for but I was low on money n just trying to deal with the main issues n thne come back again When I had more money . I will definitely come back tho for like emergencies like for connivence like I feel this vet can be a useful resource to have in ur pet roster but not so much if u have a limited amount of money I was able to pay upfront cuz I had savings . I am not establish in my career . I’m a 24 yr old living in a motel that allows pets which is money n looking for a place to stay with my pet that’s why I didn’t want to pay too much . Looking back at the bill I could have narrow it down a lot more to wat actually helped him. But I am very grateful cuz he is better n they did a great job!

Everyone’s always helpful and nice and Dr. Daman is always knowledgeable, spot-on the issue, and seems to care. I appreciate it. My elderly dog saw 2 other vets who misdiagnosed; here the vet pinpointed her serious issues. My elderly cat is getting what I believe is the best care here. And hours open are helpful for those of us at work.

Amazing service...took our little dog Blue who was attacked by a coyote and received the best treatment ever! We took him as soon as it happens and they took him in as as son as we got there and started working on him. The doctors called me and communicated with me everything that was going on. Our dog Raider had to have an emergency surgery. Luckily we came to the right place. Not only was all the staff super friendly but they made Raider feel like part of their family. He now loves to go to their office for all the attention they give him. Not many people are willing to show affection to him since he is a pit bull but there he knows he is loved just like at home. Great service and a wonderful and delightful staff .Our puppy jumped and broke all the fingers on his little paw, they took him in as soon as I got there ... something my vet at the time could not do. They explained everything to me and told me what my options would be and continued to splint and care for him the following 8 wks. I think that price wise they are very fair and do not over chatge. I am grateful to have come accross such a great place for my pups.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I’ve seen other reviews saying “the male vet is rude” which is hard to believe. I’ve never once had a bad experience here. The vets are thorough and answer all my questions, are polite and professional.We recently rescued a kitten. When we brought him home and noticed he had worms. We took him to the vet and found out he also had FELV. It broke my heart to hear that. My kitten had a high fever, an infection, wouldn’t eat, play, couldn’t stand up on his own and he never once would “meow”. He was so sick and we didn’t think he would make it.They vet kept him for about 4 days, did a blood transfusion, fluids etc. After we brought him home he quickly showed signs of improvement. He’s now a happy, playful loving kitten. He did a complete 360 from when we first rescued him. The vet saved his life. I will continue to bring all my animals here. They diagnosed my dog with AIHA which most vets don’t check for and lots of dogs don’t survive, but they saved my baby’s life and they’re so friendly and professional. I spent almost $600 elsewhere for an incorrect blood diagnosis and when I came here, they found the problem almost immediately and the medication worked so perfectly for her! This is my go to vet clinic, I refuse to take my pets anywhere else.

Do not go to this place. I took my healthy dog whose only symptom was a little smell in her urine. He barely looked at her because he was too busy. Never came out to talk with me. I seriously do not know what he looks like. And wanted to do every test he could think of for almost $600. It was not a good experience!!!!!

For emergencies yes I do recommend San Dimas Pet Clinic. They have very good Veterinarians there. However if you will just make it a pet visits or if you will have them as your pet vet wellness they are not recommended because there services are too expensive compared to other Pet Vet…they don’t even give discounts unlike other Pet Clinics you’ll get better reasonable prices and better discounts.

I dont even know where to begin with all the errors this doctor has done. I called on Thursday cause my cat had been limping and i thought he broke his arm since i seen a bump. I called around 6 pm since they say they are open late, no one answered and then i got a call right back saying he could meet me there in 20 minuets. I met the doctor at the place and he told me he needed to put the cat to sleep, drain out his arm, would wrap the arm and put a cone on and it would cost no more than $349. The doctor told me to come back Monday 02/19 Presidents Day by noon for the follow up. I asked if they were going to be open due to the holiday, he said yes they only close for the big holidays. I paid the guy got my cat and left.Saturday night comes along i noticed my cat starting to limp again. Sunday morning we wake up and my cats paw was SWOLLEN a little more than double its orginal size (i attached a picture) i got up and had to take him to the emergency. I spent 2 hrs waiting for a doctor at the emergency hospital, (which i didnt mind cause they were so nice and very attentive) the doctor at the emergency pet hospital said his wrap was way to tight and caused my cats fever to go up 105 due to the stress and which is apparently really bad. He told me to monitor my cat and make sure i take him to his check up the next day. He didnt wrap up the arm again cause his paw needed to swell down. Which left the cats wound exposed.I get to the doctors on Monday by noon and THEY ARE CLOSED which is my only day off for the rest of the week. So now my cats wound is exposed and the cone this doctor gave his is way to small which lets my cat be able to lick and pull on his stitches. Also attached a picture where you can see the cone too smallI call Tuesday and asked the receptionist what is the lasted the doctor is staying that day or on Wednesday she told me 5pm i told her i went on Monday and they were closed, said she was sorry but someone tried calling me to tell me they were closed but my number on file was incorrect. I let her know that was a LIE since the doctor had called me previously so i knew he had the RIGHT phone number AND i never gave her my name or cats name. So i told her to talk to the doctor since now theres been way to many inconveniences and i need my cat to be seen, she had the doctor call me and confirmed he can see me the next day at 7 pm.I get to the doctors and he goes to tell me how this stuff happens and the cone was too small for my cat Blah blah blah... so of course my cats paw is now infected again and he told me to come back in an hour so they could clean it out. I get back in an hr and still have to wait another 30 min. He comes out brings my cats and tells me its now going to be $370 and was giving me a 40% discount which doesnt make sense since this is more than what i originally paid. I told him i was NOT paying that since this is ALL his error he right away cuts me off gets loud and starts arguing with me that he was tired from having to stay late and work on my cat, that he couldnt not charge me because he has a business to run, has a family and needs to pay bills, i let him know that he should of told me he was going to charge me this again so i would of taken my cat somewhere else where THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. He started yelling at me that it was fine hes not going to charge me but any additional services he has to do, will be a fee. (Super unprofessional)I will NEVER take any of my pets here again this has been the biggest headache Ive ever dealt with, for something so simple. Dont let the nice friendliness fool you, he also mentioned how business was slow so Im sure he takes advantage of any situation to get money since money is tight and like he said he has bills to pay Anyone is going to smile in your face when they know your going to spend whatever you have to for your pet!

My baby mimi has a broken leg and after last nights emergency visit we bounced around a bit through referrals. However San DIMAS pet clinic not only responded quick but gave us a bright outlook and Mimi will be better in no time! Plus the price was extremely reasonable. My dog was having an allergic reaction and in need of immediate care and they were the only place open so I came here and the professionalism here was laughable. I am trusting these people with my babys life and everyone is walking around casual like theres somewhere better to be. Front desk lady had a smile and was helpful but the back staff (I was helped by 3 men) were way too casual about helping me. I was asking questions about the 3 shots they were going to give her and the nurse and dr. both seemed annoyed that I had so many questions and the dr.s phone even went off while he was explaining things to me and he pulled it out while speaking to me.Everything went well and my little girl is ok now so I believe they are good at what they do but for us parents who take our animals very seriously, the lack of professionalism is worrisome. I should rate it 3 stars but I am upset with how I was treated.

Im a little upset about this place. I took my cat in to treat his UTI, but a couple of days later, he got really sick- with symptoms of Covid. Ive never had this happen to any of my pets after I take them to other veterinarians. Its just careless. How could I trust this vet?

I took my 15 week old pug to this pet clinic for his shots and they gave it to him but the doctor said he was a little swollen from his cheeks so I said oh is that a problem and he said “no” so I believed him because he’s the doctor and a week later my dog got a bad cold and my mom called them and told them “my dog went a week ago to get his shots and when he got them he started to stop eating he wasn’t drinking water and he had a really bad cough with phlegm not to mention he was getting really skinny to the point where his ribs started to show” and they told her “she can pay for the exam again” and my mom said “my dog wasn’t like this” and when she asked for an appointment they said “ya we don’t have any appointments right now” why would you do that this pet clinic is just money hungry they don’t care about your pet they just want your money. Then we took my dog to this amazing pet clinic it’s called affordable animal hospital and they are the absolute best the first exam is free and they really do care for your animal my pug had dis temper and is on hospitalization for three days I pray he’ll make it.

Thank you Dr. Kanwarbir Dhillon, Valerie and San Dimas Pet Clinic for helping my kitty, Cho Cho. Cannot even begin to tell you the anxiety I was experiencing and the suffering my kitty was undergoing due to his chronic asthma and pneumonia. Cho Cho could not breathe, and I knew it was just a matter days or hours until I would lose him. I called Emergency Clinics and Internists from the Inland Empire, Orange County and LA County and could not get an appointment. The Vet Clinic that I had frequented for 15 years did not have the doctors onboard that had the knowledge and/or expertise to help him, or they simply did not care. God willing, I called San Dimas Pet Clinic late in the day and spoke with Valerie who cleared an urgent appointment with Dr. Dhillon who agreed to see Cho Cho and treat him immediately after I placed the call. Dr. Dhillon is extremely knowledgeable of medicine and science. After reviewing x-rays and blood work, Dr. Dhillon came up with a treatment plan that would ultimately give Cho Cho back the ability to breathe … a critical life function. Dr. Dhillon took quick and swift action and did not need to consult with other doctors to come up with a treatment plan that would ultimately lead to Cho Cho’s recovery. His knowledge and experience with medicine, science and treating animals is extraordinary, and his work ethic is amazing. Clearly, Dr. Dhillon’s background is extensive and given the pet owner’s approval to proceed with the recommended treatment plan; Dr. Dhillon is extremely capable of performing magic. Thank you, Dr. Dhillon, your expertise stemming from your knowledge and experience has given Cho Cho the ability to breathe again.Stop looking for a Veterinarian; just take your pet to San Dimas Pet Clinic.

I asked a question at 4:42pm and I was told by daisy at the front desk that “they will get to you when they get to you”. This is my first dog ever and I treat him like my son. Prescribing me unneeded medication when I clearly stated none of the symptoms that this medication helps.
