I needed a new dentist and stumbled upon this place. This office truly exceeded my expectations. All the staff members are knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating. They explained the services I needed, discussed my insurance coverage, then proceeded with the services I requested while accommodating to my schedule. Im so impressed by the quality of their work! The doctors and dental hygienists explained everything to me step-by-step and made recommendations which really calmed my dental anxiety! Thank you all!!

I called around and from the first call to the Doctor, San Dimas Dental, was amazing. I was able to get a same day appointment. Everyone was very accommodating. Dentists can be scary but the place is brand new and welcoming. The staff are highly skilled with years of experience: Daisy, Jose, Dr Zak. All had great customer care and a passion for their work. My teeth were in bad shape and they educated me and rolled out the best treatment plan that worked for me and my the needs of my teeth. I highly recommend this team at San Dimas Dental.

I’ve been coming to this office for 5 years and my dentist Dr. Hernandez is amazing. Her skills and kind spirit make you feel comfortable in the dental chair. Jeremy and Brandon, 2 members of the staff, always make my visit go smooth. Lastly, my hygienist Sarah always makes sure I m on track with keeping my teeth for the rest of my life. It is tough to find good people in this world now a days, and this office reminds you that it is still possible. Recommend this place to everyone!

Ive been coming to this dentist for years now.. Ive had root canals, deep cleanings, cavitys, teeth pulled out, teeth whitening and four Veneers which they did a really really really good job. Thanks to them I LOVE MY smile!!! Yeah I did have one bad experience one time but thats in the past.. Today I went in for a crown and they took really good care for me. The dentist Ms. Hernandez that has worked on my teeth numerous times is AWESOME!!! Shes sweet, shes nice, shes professional and she gets the job done quick and fast. Also the Dentist who did my root canals was really good too.. The workers in the front Abby, Sara, Brandon and even Sonya when she worked there are really friendly helpful and acknowledge you by your name. They treat you good here and I highly would recommend this dentist to get your teeth done. Thank you San Dimas office and Orthodontics!!!!

Overall an amazing experience!Went in for pain/discomfort I started to randomly have. Dr. Hernandez was very kind and was very straightforward to help me regarding the discomfort I was experiencing. After the consultation with Dr. Hernandez, I got a deep clean done with Sarah.Front desk staff were so friendly, Brandon was very informative, Dr. Hernandez and Sarah were so sweet and helpful. Never have my teeth felt so clean like they did after getting my deep clean done with Sarah. Thank you to the whole office for making my rough morning be so seamless!

I don’t like the dentist but who does? However, I love my experience here at San Dimas Dental Office. Dr. Hernández is my doctor and she is super understanding and explains everything well. My hygienist is Sasha. I love her. She is wonderful even with her goofy jokes which I enjoy especially after a long day at work. The staffs are wonderful as well. I would recommend them because they do have longer hours on Wednesdays so I don’t need to take time off from work.

If youre looking for a new dental practice, do yourself a favor and go over to San Dimas Dental. They are GREAT!!!! Ive been a patient of San Dimas Dental for about 3 years now, since day one its been nothing but great service. The entire staff is great. Brandon in the front office is always so friendly and helpful. (LOVE HIM) Sarah my dental hygienist is so so great! Dr Hernandez is a great dentist, makes you feel comfortable. My family and I came to this dental office after experiencing bad service at another location. The staff at this location are friendly, carrying, and very professional. I was lucky to get assigned to Hygenist Sarah Boutros. She is amazing! She was gentle and explained everything she did, allowing me to feel comfortable. Our family was referred to San Dimas Dental Office from our pediatric dentist when our 8 year was in an accident and had her front tooth chipped in half. I am so very happy that I found the San Dimas Dental Office online. From the first phone call, I felt very welcomed! San Dimas Dental is exactly what you would want when you go to a dentist or orthodontist, very professional. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted and treated like family. Brandon at the front desk has an amazing energy and personality that’ll make you feel welcomed upon arrival. I’m currently in the middle of my invisilign treatment and Doctor Sara has also been amazing, she makes me feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable and has great people skills which I feel is very important when you’re getting work done at the dentist or orthodontist. Please be very careful about this office’s billing practices when you start services. I was referred to this office by my HMO dental insurance. I knew I would need a lot of work, so I wasn’t surprised when the office manager told me the work I needed was going to be expensive. What I was surprised by is that he told me he was having me sign my treatment plan (they had it on the screen while I was sitting in the dental chair and I couldn’t read the fine print). Several weeks later I asked for a copy and the fine print stated I was agreeing to out of network fees. This office charged well above my insurances contracted rates/copays for every single service. This is a violation of their contract with my insurance. Every time I went, they asked me to give a signature without allowing me to see what I signed. When I asked to see, the front desk said they didn’t have a copy. This is just part of their check in process if you want an appointment. They also offered to set me up with a payment plan. What they didn’t tell me is that they would be charging me 9K in advance of any services provided (which caused my credit score to drop 70 pints). I had to ask three times for the funds to be refunded and they kept telling me it would be more expensive for treatment if they refunded me. They could not explain why that was, if they were using my insurance. They had their endontist do 3 root canals. They were drilled so widely with hardly any filling that now two of those teeth have cracked. The other tooth, it turns out never should have had a root canal. The office told me they now wanted to pull all teeth. I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted a refund for all root canals. They said no refunds unless I got the teeth pulled in their office. They also apparently require general anesthesia to pull teeth.I overheard the doctors talking about “add on” services and joking about how this office loves their add-ons to charge patients. On a side note, I found another private patient who doesn’t even take insurance: Her fees are going to be 4k less for all the work and so far no broken teeth or recommendations to pull my teeth. Go somewhere else.

My Dentist Dr Hernandez is the best dentist I have had in years. Even better than my previous dentist of 20 years! All the staff is also great! I tried another dentist in San Dimas by Stater Brothers and he was the roughest dentist Ive ever had in my 81 years! I have PPO insurance and that previous dentist gave me a 10 minute cleaning and a 10 minute follow-up! Steer clear of that office!

My husband made an appointment for a dental cleaning. First of all, the visit took 1 hour and 50 minutes even with an appointment. The whole point of making an appointment is that you dont have to wait and get seen when you arrive. He had to wait over an hour to get his teeth cleaned even though he made an appointment. Secondly, hes never had any issues with his dental hygiene in the past and got complimented from other dentists for his teeth and gum health. At this location, the front desk lady and the dentist (Alexis Hernandez) both pressured him to get additional services (quoted $700+) like deep cleaning (which a lot of dentist offices code as deep cleaning and end up doing regular cleaning anyways), laser treatment, saliva test, etc. When my husband declined the services, the dentist tried to intimidate him saying his gum health could potentially lead to serious diseases like cancer. You are talking to a 30-year-old man who brushes his teeth twice a day, flosses every day, and has never had any dental issues in the past ten years. This is not a healthcare professional who cares about the wellbeing of their patients. This is utterly unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint with the Dental Board.

This was my 1st time here! But I dont think Ill be going anywhere else anytime soon? Upon entering the office, I was greeted by everyone up front with a smile. I was then seen by Nancy, Dr Tadross assistant, who was so sharp and on point! This Devine office has the state of the art Equipment. X-rays only took Nancy seconds, and the Laser Captions were phenomenal! This was not even close to my past experiences. I only needed a cap reattached then after it was all said and done. Jeremy, the best bookkeeper, came in with all my prior info and told me I could get all my work done on that day! Dr. Todros came in and repaired two broken crowns and just like that? 👍 I was into a deep cleansing that I had never experienced before. Thanks to Kayla with her beautiful vibes came in and taught me several things I didnt know to add to my journey. Sharp as a tac Nancy popped my crown back on, and I had finished with all my adventures for the day! An exclusive visit with nothing left behind. If you need a 5 Star dental attention, better head straight over to Dr. Tadross office at San Dimas Dentistry. Wow, it is on the Cutting Edge of Technology. What a great find! My wife and I finally made the move from La Verne Dental & Implant Center on Foothill Blvd. And boy, are we glad we made the switch. You have ONE chance at making a first impression. I called their number and Irma answered the phone. After a brief and pleasant exchange, I decided to learn more about San Dimas Dental. My wife saw Dr. Hernandez and I saw Dr. Tadros. I was also assisted by Janet with X-Rays and Sasha Kassar the hygienist. Everyone involved in my treatment was super attentive and sensitive to the patients needs. Congratulations to everyone for delivering a patient-center model of service. I appreciated the fantastic technology available at this office. I am a big fan of the SmileGeneration portal to manage your file and was impressed by their ability to create crowns on site and in a very short time.The bottom line, I highly recommend this dental office. The people are nice but i feel like everytime i go they are pushing expensive procedures for me to do. This time they said i needed a deep cleaning xrays and laser that cost 500.00 because of bacteria AGAIN.(I DID THAT LAST TIME) I said i couldnt afford it so only then did they said they would let me do it for $300.00 instead of $500.00! I heard the deep cleaning hurt and it took alot longer than a regular cleaning. My friends had to do it in two different sittings. I did the deep cleaning and it did not hurt it felt the same as a regular cleaning (not that i wanted it to hurt) and it took the same time as a regular cleaning., ( my whole mouth in 20 minutes or so) later i was sorry i spent the $85.00 i really could not afford right now especially right after Christmas. I was also told at the desk that i needed an exam but i did not get one. Again Last time i spent alot of money supposedly because of bacteria in my mouth and they wanted me to do that again. It just feels like its all about how much they can get you to spend and when you say you cant afford it all of a sudden they offer it for less money. Why doesnt it cost the lesser amount to begin with? I realize my teeth are not in that good of condition but its always lots everytime.

When you tell them youll pay based on whats done after each appointment, they try to throw theyre financing option to get you to pay for everything. This is ridiculous. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chantelle Abrolat. I booked an emergency visit, and was seen within 24-48 hrs of inquiring for an appointment. Not to mention, I received my cleaning / treatment the SAME DAY I saw the doctor. I expressed to Dr. Chantelle my concerns, and she was patient, GENUINELY understanding, and just a gem! Wow! I haven’t been to the dentist in ten plus years and this was such a great experience overall. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel super comfortable. I had been waiting for a permanent set of teeth and Dr Hernandez worked with me to make sure I was happy all along the way. I didn’t like the look of one set that was sent over so I had her send them back. When they came back I was happy with them so we went ahead and had them put in. Dr Hernandez and another dentist worked for 2 hours to make sure they fit the way they were supposed to and made sure I was happy, which I was. I called the office the next day and Dr Hernandez happened to pick up the phone. Once she found out I was on the phone she immediately asked me how I was doing. When I told her 2 issues I was having she immediately wanted me to schedule an appt to come in. Dr Hernandez has been fantastic this entire process (7 months) and has really made me feel calm about each step along the way. My first time there and I came on time but they let me wait 45 min before I asked what was taking so long. Apparently the x-ray dept was behind. I was annoyed that they didnt let me know first. I was on my lunch time and I knew I would be long but not as long as this. Janet came and got me to take my x-rays and I let her know I was annoyed. But she did her job and was very nice and explained everything about the x-ray procedure. Then I was taken to another room to meet Dr. Hernandez. She was very thorough and I questioned alot of what I was experiencing and she gave me great answers. Then I met my hygienist, Janessa. She was very gentle yet got my cleaning done perfectly. I had met with Cynthia, the heres-what-all-this is going to cost you staff member, and I was so impressed with the info that they had presented to me as it was much cheaper than the previous dentist I had switched from. And lastly Brandon, the other staff member at the front, who I was not nice too btw, but you know after checking out and talking with him, he was a nice person. So over all I was very pleased with the entire staffs treatment of patients and Im happy to say that I have found my permanent dentist office. Already made all my appts for the next 6 months. Ive been taking my daughter to this dentist for over a year now. I LOVED the people at the front and how welcoming they are when you get there. I told my husband about them and he decided he was going there as well. He has had such a positive experience (and he is afraid to go to the dentist), he tells all his friends and neighbors about how great the dentist was when he goes, how friendly the staff if and that they should leave their current dentist and switch to his lol. My daughter has also been seeing the orthodontist there for over a year and she always says how much she loves him and how fast and delicate they are when they tighten her braces or change out the rubber bands. We will never go to another dentist. Ive tried so many throughout my life and have never found such a great place that the whole family loves! My wife’s first appointment ended up costing us over 2.5k because no one told her they were offering her services that our insurance doesn’t cover. When she was checking out they said they don’t do payment plans there.Fast forward a few weeks she got her wisdom teeth removed. They didn’t send any of her 4 prescriptions to the pharmacy. I had to call 3 times, all with the promise of a call back and never got one. Not only that, but the on-hold recording advertises that they do, in fact, offer multiple payment plans.I finally had to go in and they changed their tune and insisted that my wife asked them to send it to a completely different pharmacy that we’ve never used once in our life and it was sent there the day of her surgery. So my wife has been sitting in pain with an increased risk of infection right after surgery for no reason, and for some reason no other staff had the ability to relay that message.

I’ve had gum surgery with Dr. Yashar and she is absolutely amazing. She walked me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable and relaxed about the procedure itself and the recovery. I’ve had to have this done twice already and both times my results and recovery has been great. Pain was minimal. I had MAJOR surgery in preparation for a full mouth of permanent dental implants. Tooth extractions, bone grafting, 8 titanium implants and stitches. I personally chose to have all of these procedures done in one sitting (5 1/2 hrs). During this time Dr. Yashar guided me through every step of the way. Of all this surgery she performed I felt NO PAIN. I was advised of everything the Dr. was doing, constantly comforted, asked if I was OK, and just genuine concern, care and professionalism throughout the whole procedure. I want to reiterate, all four of my procedures were done all at one time by my in personal choice. You can have these steps done in numerous sessions. I cannot praise Dr. YASHAR enough for the wonderful job she did to get me prepared for my permanent teeth.

Ive done everything possible on my end to prevent a negative review of this dental office but they dont care. I have paid for my dental work in full at each visit. Was on top of what was covered and what wasnt. In short, months after receiving dental work I received a call from a collection agency saying I owed San Dimas Dental $250. I told them they were paid in full. Ive received probably 20 calls from collection agencies regarding this debt.. I have called San Dimas Dental Office at least 10 times. Receptionist leaves me on hold for lengthy amounts of time and then would return with a promise the office manager would call me back. I have never received a call back. This mistake on their part has cost me numerous points on my credit, wasted countless hours on the phone trying to get a hold of them and numerous calls from collection agencies. If I could give o star I would. Went to dentist, made a treatment plan. Went in to have teeth pulled under anaesthesia, came to with teeth pulled, stitched, no bone grafts. the surgeon and his asst knew nothing about me getting bone grafts. Come to find out, the dentist treating me had decided that I did not need grafts, never discussed with me, neither did office personnel as I was paying that AM, I even mentioned that was lower than what we had discussed. their response at the time was that my insurance had paid more than they expected.Whenever I have had a tooth pulled I have gotten bone grafts and with my health issues really important. But did not want to go back to them and no longer trust them for anything. In order to fix I have to go through surgery again, it was difficult for me to heal first time, and it should be done right away.Gave me temp partials and said when I healed, come in for perm. Called to discuss that and what additional if any cost there would be, after few months, said they would call me back after financial looked over everything, or they would take message, but never a call back. By my insurance they charged them but I no longer have this insurance and really do not want to deal with these people anymore. Guess what after calling 3 times I have never received a call. They know they screwed up.If you want them to make your health and dental decisions for you, go ahead but I and no one else I know will be seeing them. They had a potential for 10 new customers and lost them. 2 were getting braces, 1 implants. If I had not been going through divorce etc I was considering trying to sue them, but probably too late now.Stay away from this dental group, may have just been that dentist, but you never know.Christine Son DDS was my dentist

UPDATED REVIEW:San Dimas Dental has recently changed ownership and the new group is fantastic. I had to go back due to my crown breaking and Dr Zak (the new owner from what I understand) took care of replacing the damaged crown even though he wasnt the one that was responsible for putting it in the first time.He was very nice and before my x-rays introduced himself to me. I told him about my previous experiences at the office, he apologized (even though he wasnt even there) and explained thats not how he runs things.It was late on a Monday when I went in with my cracked crown so he couldnt finish the process that night. They got me in the very next day with a 10am appointment. I arrived a few minutes early and checked in. By 10:03 I was in the chair and he was working on my tooth!!! By 10:40 my new crown (that had to be made during that time frame) was placed in my mouth and I was on my way back to work.Excellent service and I will be going back for my cleaning very soon. Glad to see Dr Zak is running the show here now and hope my future visits go as smoothly as my crown fix. I also appreciate that he fixed it free of charge even though he couldve said that was under old ownership. Stand up dude and great great staff! Everyone was very nice and professional.PREVIOUS REVIEW:I thoroughly enjoyed the staff at this dentist office and it is very clean and technologically advanced. Unfortunately, they up sell like crazy. I had a root canal done here and it seemed really expensive but it was my first one and I didnt know any better. A few months later I had a tooth chip and went it to get it looked at. They said I needed a crown on that tooth and gave me the options. Once again it seemed expensive but I negotiated them down from nearly $800 to $525 simply by asking them to lower the price since money was tight and I wanted the cheapest porcelain/ceramic frown I could get. That shouldve been my first warning that they severely overcharge.Anyway,they did the prep work for the crown and we made an appointment for the next week to get the permanent crown. During that week I decided to call my insurance company and ask them why it was so expensive and why they didnt cover more of the cost. They told me my co-pay for a ceramic/porcelain crown should be $225. That was the price that the dentist office presented to me for a metal crown. My insurance said a metal crown would be $100.When I called to ask for an explanation they explained that the insurance covers a different type of crown than what they were putting on me and that the crown they were putting on me was high tech and the latest and greatest. I explained that I had asked for the cheapest option and they never told me I could get out of there for the $225 co-pay the insurance said was what I should pay. She said that they dont quote that type of porcelain/ceramic crown because its not as strong as the CEREC crown they put in. I asked if I could switch to the cheaper version and they said no because I had already signed the agreement for the other crown (which they admitted hadnt been made yet.) In the end they deducted another $100 off the cost so I got the CEREC crown for $425 when they originally quoted me nearly $800.My advice, if you are budget minded and dont want Mercedes level work on your teeth but just want good ole reliable Toyota go somewhere else. I feel like I was deceived and even explained that to them when I asked if I could switch to the lower cost crown. They still said no and that on my next visit they would note I wanted the cheaper service that my insurance covered with my co-pay. I told them there wouldnt be a next time since I wouldnt go back.Side not, they also told me I needed a deep cleaning and that was going to be $300. My insurance also disagrees with that amount and when I asked this office about it it said that their deep cleanings include a laser treatment that cost an additional $200. Up-sell up-sell up-sell! Thats the game here. Once again, if you are budget minded I would HIGHLY suggest going somewhere else.

However, when i repeatedly asked about a regular cleaning that my insurance covers, they would NOT give me a straight answer, adding that my insurance will not cover the entire cost for the procedure i needed. Ok, Ill buy that, but they still tapped dance around my questions. Nonetheless, today was my appointment for a follow up, to which they advised me a few months ago that there would be NO COST to me. Today, they asked for $95. So, I requested, again, for a regular cleaning covered by my insurance. The girl at the desk told me that Safeguard is a Discount insurance that I dont qualify for a basic cleaning because theyve been boning me for other services, hence, they couldnt go backwards. So, apparently, they will manipulate the insurance in reference to their diagnosis so that they can bill for the most they can get out of your insurance AND reach into YOUR POCKET every time. Several years ago, they tried to extort me, yes, I said EXTORT money out of me, saying that since they made the diagnosis I COULD NOT have the services they recommend done anywhere else, but ONLY with them, after i advised that i would be going elsewhere. I quit them back then, but, I returned thinking things changed after a change of office staff. Today I called my insurance and they told me that i am allowed two basic cleanings a year, and there is no record of they being billed for one yet. Dentist at SDDO still needs to make his boat payment, i guess. Things still havent changed. By the way, my wife had a deep cleaning done at her dentist office. It was $50 cheaper at her office for the same procedure.

I went in for a cleaning simply because this dental office was close to my house. I had braces for 2 years and have always taken great care of my teeth with regular dental check ups so I am very familiar with dentists, cleanings, costs etc. I had googled this office and even though some of the reviews stated that they were way over priced I decided to give them a shot anyway due to the fact that I had also read sonewhere that they were under new management? I went in and without even examining my teeth they told me that I needed a laser cleaning and that even though I had Excellent insurance my OUT OF POCKET COST WOULD BE OVER $400.Now listen, as I said previously I take very good care of my teeth and have ALWAYS kept up with cleanings and care. I have NEVER even heard of such a thing. $400 out of my pocket just for a cleaning?! Thats insane. They were not able to hustle me (which is all it was, obviously,) and after I told them that that was absolutely ridiculous they said oh well let me see what we can do for you. They then came back with a lower price which was still outrageous. I felt like I was at a used car lot.Of course I left and made another appointment somewhere else where I was treated like an actual person and not a bag of money.If you have an unlimited income and can afford hundreds of dollars out of pocket for BASIC preventative dental services that are COVERED 100% by insurance other places then by all means, this is the dentist for you. If you are like the rest of us and dont want to get ripped off though, I would go somewhere else.

The dentist is a liar, said she called in prescription and did not, lied on the phone twice to me, and wanted to do root canal on a tooth that already had one., Went for a second opinion, the other dentist took me out of pain in 1 hour, did what was needed for a fraction of the cost and I was all good.
