My mother was brought in for a stroke on 6/20/24. We were so lucky with the first nurse we had in the ER (Brittany), but once she was admitted into 124, the nurses were terrible. I saw a nurse chart vitals without taking a single one, was inputting False information without asking me the questions, and her overall attitude was just very unprofessional and disgusting. She was trying to make jokes about my mom with me to lighten the situation, but I found nothing funny. The worst nurses were the night shift nurses, the ones in. The ER (charge nurse Nell) who found it amusing to speak about my moms symptoms and case upon her coworkers very LOUDLY, and looking over to me with a very stink face. Once my mother was readmitted, she was in the hospital for NINE HOURS with no IV, no medication, no help. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

I came to the San Dimas emergency room for the first time because the urgent cares that I go to their system went down. It wasn’t a mistake that I ended up here because I was treated right away and kindly. The real reason for writing this review is because of the front desk lady named Sally N was a true angel and went out of her way to help me out during my visit. She’s amazing!! Great job on hiring the front desk ladies San Dimas Community!

I got surgery to remove my gall bladder last week and I would have to say to experience was really good. I got to emergency and right away someone was taking all sorts of test and trying to figure out what was wrong with me. When they did find out I got my surgery and afterwards all the nurses were so helpful in taking care of me and my needs. I specially appreciate one night nurse if I recall her name was Mary. The sweetest soul i have ever known, treated me like a daughter. Bless her

One star is too much for this facility! My elderly mother fell sick with Covid and the way she has been treated is close to being held hostage. We weren’t allowed any contact, and had a horrible time being communicated updates about her health. They claimed she understood what they were telling her but had a hard time recounting it to me, showing me what I already knew, that it’s essential for me as her caregiver and power of attorney, to be there and yet countless nurses refused to keep me in the loop, with not even so much as a phone call about what they were doing to her. She has been in hospitals quite a few times but this was the absolute WORST experience we’ve ever had. We will NEVER be coming back and will be refusing any care from this hospital. Shame on the way she was treated and how she was kept from us!!! BE BETTER!!

I recently visited the emergency room at San Dimas Hospital on May 29, 2024, around 9 pm, and had a disappointing experience. We waited for 2 hours without any updates, which added to our discomfort and frustration. The communication from the staff was inadequate, and we were not provided with clear explanations or updates about our situation. When we informed the staff that we were leaving due to the long wait and lack of communication, they seemed indifferent and did not express concern or offer any assistance. The quality of care and empathy we received was far below our expectations.I understand that emergency rooms can be busy and stressful environments, but patients deserve to feel cared for and informed. I hope this feedback will help improve the services and foster more empathy and communication from the staff at San Dimas Hospital ER.

I just had a procedure done at outpatient surgery. My attending RN behaved professionally. My Specialist was very understanding and skilled. Once in Surgery waiting area, a lead nurse kept talking without paying attention to my questions. He kept saying “we are a team of nurses and we are all RNs” like a broken record! Once in OR room, I was asked to role over onto my stomach with oxygen and IV tubings right against my face. I asked the talkative lead nurse how was I supposed to rest my head? He just stuck a foam under my face which made it very difficult for me to breathe! I asked for help, he didn’t even look my way? I had to hold my head sideways in order to just breathe! The worst part was when I entered the hospital with my companion and approached the receptionist! We noted that 2 Security Guards got immediately dispatched to the reception desk posing aggressively and frowning at me, displaying angry looks and gestures!? I really felt as if they were sent to carry me out at any moment! My companion and I felt threatened by the Security Guards that made us feel like prisoners at Guantanamo Bay with their hyper vigilance and confrontational attitudes! We saw them leave as soon as I was taken to outpatient surgery area!?The Hospital must have fed them wrong information about me. I still feel violated and traumatized by the shockingly aggressive conduct of the GUARDS!?❗️What kind of a treatment was that against a helpless patient⁉️ Patients have Rights! Don’t the Administration REALIZE that they are violating the patient’s rights⁉️ I demand that the Hospital and its CEO provide written explanation of their decision to dispatch Angered Guards to receive a patient in severe pain! I am glad my companion noticed their wrongful treatment, immediately!

I went to the San Dimas Community Hospital emergency room 2 days ago. The nurse doing the E.R intake, I believe his name was Noelle, was one of the kindest Ive ever met. He was very sweet and caring, and he really made me feel better about my situation, and I really appreciate that.

I went there around 4:30 am with sever stomach pain. They did x-rays CT scans bloodwork ultrasound and of course pain meds. Turns out I had to get my gallbladder removed. They were able to squeeze me in the same day for surgery so I didn’t have to miss my son’s 16th birthday the next day. Every single person who helped me was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe how nice and professional they were. Best hospital I ever been in by far.

The care from the all the staff, nurses, and doctors from the Emergency Room to the hospital was the best as always for me. I keep returning to San Dimas Community Hospital time and time again due to best care always received. I had both my daughters at San Dimas, been to the emergency several times with my kids injuries due to soccer and illnesses, and now myself due to gallbladder stones. The nurses did everything in their power to make me feel as comfortable as possible throughout my 4 day stay. I highly recommend San Dimas Community Hospital.
