I did everything right...As a FTHB, I watched hundreds of hours of YouTube videos, listened to the podcasts, collected cards from other agencies, reached out to realtors who solicited me in the barber shop, read the reviews, had friends tell me this is who you want to use. I read all the worst-case scenarios, downloaded all of the apps. I was, however, not prepared for the transactional side of buying a home...I dont have or want that much knowledge. This is where Sam matters...and it matters that it was Sam and not someone else.Sam was there to fill in the gaps of my research... knowledge I couldnt get until I was knee deep in the process. Between us, I should have listened to his advice a little more intently in the beginning.If Im honest, I needed a therapist more than I needed a realtor and that was Sams role throughout much of this process. He was even kind enough to give me space when I did (actually, in frustration at the market, interest rates, etc...) quit the process.In total we viewed some 8 or 9 properties in person (many more reviewed online and through email and texts--his customizable portal was a BIG help). At each instance, Sam was there to council me appropriately and in a way that made it feel like the choices were my own--I know that sounds inherent, but having worked in sales, there is an aspect of influencing and motivating that I wanted to avoid.Long story short, I get the keys soon and am compelled to refer any buyer or seller to Sam. I was pleased with his professionalism, use of technology, intimate knowledge of the San Diego market and his patience with my indecisiveness.If youre reading these like I did to vet your choice of realtor, stop now and call Sam. Youll be glad you did. I know I am.

We worked with Sam for a whole year before we finally found our perfect home in Cali. We had a lot going against us but Sam stuck through the whole time since we first contacted him back in Colorado. His communication is beyond what I expected when shopping for our home. Sam is very knowledgeable which helped us first time home buyers. He is very quick to respond and always had a positive mindset even when we were losing hope. Sam guided us the whole way through and we appreciate all his help. Cant wait to work with Sam again when we decided to purchase another home.

First and foremost I knew absolutely nothing about being a first time home buyer. I was nervous and excited throughout the whole experience. Each time we felt nervous Sam was there to reassure us that all was well. Even when we doubted ourselves, once we made offers we wondered if we made the right one. The list goes on with doubts we had. Is this the right home for us? Is this the right price? Is this a good interest rate? With every doubt Sam was there with answers. I’m telling you one thing that we cannot express enough is that Sam NEVER pressured us into any offers or decisions. He explained it all to us with 100% honesty and let us have the last say in any decision that needed to be made. We could not thank him enough because I know how pushy realtors can be and purchasing a home is a huge commitment. We wanted nothing more than a smooth process from start to finish and that is exactly what we got with Sam.*Great communication skills*Always made himself available to show us any homes we had interest in*Always responded back right away*He would be more than willing to meet up with us to go over any questions regarding documents. (This was a big one for us, we wanted to know exactly what we were signing for and he made it all clear)We thank you again Sam for our house.To those seeking a new home, you will not be disappointed. Sam!! First and foremost, thank you thank you and thank you!! For making something that seemed impossible for me to achieve become a reality! The whole process from beginning to end was the smoothest process I could have ever imagined! Sam took his time to ensure I understood every step of the process and that the decisions I made where in MY best interest. Sam did an amazing job, creating a search for the things I wanted in my home, down to location, rooms, parking spots and most importantly cost! Not once did I feel pressured or rushed! Let me start off by taking the time to thank Sam for his hard work and dedication. You will not find a more honest and caring person to help you with your home buying journey, that much I can say for certain. Sam was there every step of the way answering all questions, being available, and stayed on top of everything even when other members of the purchase stopped caring. This is how home buying experiences should be with your best interests in mind and no underhand/pushy sales tactics.On top of everything else Sam went truly above and beyond to help with my moving situation despite me being sent out to Colorado at the last minute.Needless to say, the wife and I are extremely pleased with our new home and first time buying experience. I had the pleasure of working with Sam to purchase my first home in the San Diego area and this man did not disappoint! Luckily I was referred to him by friend and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Sam definitely had my back kept me well informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Sam Wescom from Coldwell Bankers because he is professional, knowledgeable, and gets things done. He listed my house and a few days later set up an open house. Sam sold my house in 4 days! Anytime I needed a question answered, Sam quickly responded. Sam is awesome because Sam Simply does Sell Thank you Sam!
