Sam ended up not taking my case because hes not a specialist in the appropriate type of law. But he listened and offered useful and supportive advice, and even spent time trying to track down the relevant specialty. He did this for free as part of our initial consultation. I hope I never need a lawyer again, but if I do Im calling him.

If you want someone to fight for you Sam is your guy. Sam was able to make the court system as painless as possible while at the same time obtaining the best possible outcome for my case. He knows his stuff and is not afraid to go to trial if need be. The day before we were set for trial he was able to get the ADA to agree to dropping the most serious of my charges. Hopefully I wont be needing an attorney again in the future but would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

Sam is an outstanding attorney and person. He will treat your case like a deeply personal matter. Upon my arrest, he came to see me even before I was eligible for bail, and secured me a release on O.R (own recognizance, no bail had to be paid.) My charges exposed me to 4-8 years in prison, but due to to Sam’s tireless efforts, I did not even receive probation. He also gave me invaluable life advice, which helped me improve into the person I am today. I have no words to explain how grateful I am for his services. Sam is a fantastic criminal defense lawyer. A friend of mine got into a bit of trouble and I helped him look for a lawyer and so glad we found Sam. Gave him a call on a Sunday afternoon and he got right to work by listened to the details of the case, walked us through the process and started working on the case immediately. He gave clear instructions on what needed to be done, explained how everything was going to work and that he would do everything possible to get the case dismissed. He was available for calls/questions throughout the week and he was able to get the case dismissed. He couldnt have made an extremely stressful situation anymore easy on us so if youre looking for a criminal defense lawyer who knows how to beat a case, Id highly recommend you give Sam a call.

I’m not really sure where to begin, but I can easily say Sam is the best attorney I’ve ever worked with. About a year ago I reached out because my family needed some help in Contra Costa county. I needed a lawyer for my uncle whose English isnt very good. I was referred to Sam by a friend and he was stellar. Not only was he kind to my uncle regarding the language barrier, he was also very patient. Sam always returned my calls and emails promptly and did an excellent job on my uncles DUI case. I found out about Sam after my buddy told me he used a great DUI lawyer and I decided to call him when I got a speeding ticket. We talked for a few minutes and then he emailed me the proper paperwork and I emailed him my ticket. That was all the work I had to do.A few months later he gave me a call and said my case was dismissed. Sam didnt over promise anything, was honest, and is a man of his word. This was the most hassle free experience I think you could have with a criminal lawyer. I will definitely be calling Sam again if I get more tickets.

Sam was recommended by a friend as a go-to guy for a speeding ticket my mom got on New Years Eve speeding through 19th Avenue (and I mean really speeding). He picked up the phone right away and was able to calm her down, which is a close to impossible job in itself.Sam explained what she can expect and went over the steps that he will take to ensure her record wont be impacted. He talked to us about his experience as a criminal defense attorney specializing in DUI law and how that experience will play to our advantage because he is known in the court room and is comfortable being aggressive on behalf of his clients.I myself have gone to attorneys in San Francisco and San Mateo counties for prior traffic violations, paid money, but never actually had the attorney himself take the time to speak with me. And even then, after paying the fee,I had to be the one following up on the progress of my case. Its been 2 weeks and Sam has already checking in with my mom twice! We are very happy with the service and level of communication we have received thus far, and I am hoping Sam can get my moms case dismissed. About 6 months ago I was dealing with some criminal trouble. I reached out to Sam after someone referred him. We spoke on the phone and he made me feel comfortable despite the situation. I cannot really go into detail, but this was my first time being in trouble in my life. Sam walked me through how the criminal system works, explained what to expect. I have a close friend that recently used Gellar law. We worked with Sam specifically and could not have had a better experience. Sam is an incredible criminal law defense attorney who was able to get my friend out of a terrible DUI case. Sam was fair, understanding, and really went to bat for us. He didn’t quit until my friends charges were completely dropped and he wouldn’t let the DA or police take advantage of my friend who spoke English as a second language and didn’t understand the court system. I called Sam after getting arrested for a DUI. I knew he was the best Lawyer because he got my uncle out of a big trouble (where he was facing 10+ years) to only do 3 months home arrest. Sam helped me out with my DUI with child endangerment. I still have the DUI but a least I did not had to deal with a separate case of CPS. This is the attorney I go to when I have issues with a case in federal court. I had a serious white collar crime case that involved embezzlement. I did not know if a civil compromise was possible based on the facts of the case.
