Stopped over at this lovely oasis on our way to Joshua Tree National Park. The RV park has many great spaces but some had the wrong type of sewer connection so be careful about which space you request. Also if you are traveling through it is best to get spaces in the area that are not occupied by long term residents. The pool facilities was lovely and very refreshing on a hot afternoon. The showers and restrooms were clean and the staff very helpful.

This place is amazing! Family friendly, clean, spacious, and a lot of pools!When i say family friendly i mean it! We brought my 2 small children and they had a blast! We’re definitely making this a frequent stop on our travels! They even have chickens and peacocks! Ducks and lots of fish to feed! Grass to run around in and get wiggles out! BBQ grills to cook food! They also have a cute little store you can get drinks and snacks!The staff is wonderful and friendly!Very informative and made checking in an easy process with the kids

We had our RV parked here for almost 2 years. This is a great RV resort. The people are lovely. The hot spring jacuzzis are awesome and they have great facilities. The people in the park are friendly and helpful.The neighbors were very nice.

Very unique experience.Combo of long term and travelers. Nothing else like it out there.Pretty primitive, but well taken care of for what it is. Beautiful views. Very very isolated property, so if you want to be far away from anything, great spot.For long terms, they were well kept and seemed communal, not like other long term where they seem run down.Worth checking out as it is unique.

The women at the counter was extremely helpful. She filled us in on the proper protocol for the hot springs. We did not stay the night but did do the hot springs as a rainy day activity and would totally come back. The one thing I will say is to bring your own water as the waters station provided was not great.

We camped at Sams for 3 nights. The staff were so kind, helpful and professional. The pools were perfect. I appreciated that they didnt use chlorine yet the pools were clean. It was not crowded in the pools and quiet at night when we slept. Thank you!

It was amazing but i would recommend using your RV because the rooms are a little dirty and i stayed in room 116 and the entrance looks like a ware house, it was also very expensive we spent more than 300 dollars on it but overall the place is nice.

We soaked here twice on a recent trip. The water was great. This place doesnt use any chlorine in the soaking pools; they are emptied and refilled every day. People were very nice. Very relaxed vibe.

Welcome to Sams Auto Wrecking and Junk Storage Lot. Got a junk vehicle with flat tires that doesnt run? Why not treat it to a luxury wresting spot at Sams Family Spa and Junk Yard?!?! Our Family chooses Sams Family Spa many times per year for over 20 years for very special occasions! My Grandchildren pick it repeatedly for Celebrating BIRTHDAYS! Its either Sams or Knotts Berry Farm!!!I chose Sams to spend a weekend with my Sobriety Sponsees several years ago for a Spiritual Retreat all complete with our own kitchen for delicious meals, and a room for 4 was so lovely!

I planned a mini vacation time with my family during Thanksgiving week to relax and enjoy what the desert area offers including the hot springs at this place. I booked ahead of time to spend our Thanksgiving day at these place. We traveled far and when we arrived we found out they were closed. I called to request a refund. They did it, but I cannot recommend it.

This was our 2nd time here. Got here and checkin was fine. Got to our back-in site and they really should warn you that the sites are not level. Not just a little bit...our 32 coach needed 7 inches of lift in the back to be completely level. SEVEN! 5 inched had to do it...thats all we could manage and it was just one night. If youre making reservations, it might be worth it to call and ask which sites are more level...I wish I had thought to ask. Concrete pad right outside your door for picnic table and chairs. Hot springs are nice. Definitely a winter destination.

My husband, my two kids, and I recently stayed at Sams for 4 days and had an awesome time. We usually stay at the KOA down the street but we wanted to try something new. Im so glad we did because Sams was less crowded, bigger, and quieter. The mineral spa area was very spacious and clean. There are wet saunas, dry saunas, showers, and changing rooms located close to the water. The pool was heated enough for my kids to swim all 4 days in the Spring weather. The views of the mountains are beautiful, and the RV camping overflow area was pretty much vacant. I would definitely stay here again!Cons: The gift shop is in desperate need of supplies or merchandise or something. Theres not much in there but there is plenty of room for it!Overall, I give this RV resort 5 stars!!!

Having been traveling the entire lower 48 for the past 2 years, we were on the lookout for a place to land for the 2022-2023 school year. We wound up staying at Sams for a few days and loved it so much we pulled in full-time and have been here since July 29, 2022 (we are here and staying until mid-June 2023).We LOVE it here, primarily for the hot mineral baths and spa area, but the staff is exceedingly friendly, especially considering how many improvements the new owners are making all over the facility. For the same reason we are hearing and reading complaints about work being done, we see it as a business expanding and improving their amenities, and are excited for all they are doing.We love it here, and are proud to call it home for 9 months!

By far my favorite RV resort in the entire.The hot springs AR clean.The grounds are comfortableThe employees are kind and attentive.Theres a small pond with fish, crane, chickens, peacocks, turtles and plenty of picnic areas grill up a steak and have lunch with.Theyre going through some renovation so the streets are kind of tour up a little bit but overall the facility is very well-kept.In the middle of the desert so dont expect a lot of mature vegetation other than palm trees but if youre in Desert Springs youre probably looking for Sunshine anyways.Highly recommended

I have been a resident of Sams Family Spa for the last 6 months and I couldnt be happier with my experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure the park is kept clean and well-maintained. The amenities are top-notch and include is a beautiful pool and amazing spa, a playground for the kids and a clean and well-equipped laundry room. I also appreciate that the spaces are well kept and comfortable. I highly recommend Sams Family Spa to anyone looking for a great RV/mobile home park to call home.

Great place to soak in their hot mineral pools that seat under a covered shaded patio. This place is surrounded by palm trees that sway to the cool breeze of the day. If you have body aches and want to rejuvenate your body, I highly recommend this place.

Smelled like chicken poop due to the coops being close, was kinda dirty, and I got a rash the day after all down my right leg. Never plan on going back. The fish pond was the only good thing and feeding the fish, turtles, and ducks was fun.

I really love this place. The growth is well established and protects all from the wind. The hot pools are chemical free, natural and clean. We rented one of their new mobile homes and several things didnt work which I believe they will sort out soon, as they are really new. You have to drive to go anywhere touristy.

We stayed here on a van camping trip and were so impressed. All the hot tubs were great temperatures and filled with mineral water and the pool area felt like an island resort. There’s a sauna too and a lake to check out. RV pads were basic but do have hookups. We loved it here and would stay again!

The pools are wonderful! Almost all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They refill the spas every morning! The spa doesnt open very early though so you cant go for an early morning soak. The resort is being upgraded as it has newer owners. Unfortunately that ment lots of construction and things not working. During our month stay, there was no laundry, cable, or internet (sometimes you could get it for 10min before getting kicked off). The womens bathroom by us was closed for renovation the whole time. The roads are ripped up because they are replacing fire hydrants and the parks water kept needing to be shut off. They are pretty good about texting everyone to let you know about the water. I was surprised how many people felt the need to have there music up really load driving through the park between 11pm and 5am. It would be nice if they gated the property and had a security person there at night like most other parks. You can also get mail delivered there which is always a plus. I think its going to be really nice once they get finished updating everything. You can tell they really want to bring the park back to something amazing.

The laundry room is a fiasco and you cannot trust one machine in it.They need to have the cabins stocked better (broom, wine glasses, enough toilet paper, paper towels,etc).The RV sites are the best kept I have seen in a private resort. Looks like all sites have working electric pedestals and have been raked prior to guests arrival. And I didnt see any trash, NO old bottle caps or cigarette butts which may be a first for us.The Hot Springs are priceless here. ZERO chemicals. The area sits on a vault line making the Hot Springs here extra healing and very special. I have heard, these folks drain the hot tubs every night (use the water for irrigation) and refill them every morning which is impressive.Edited: I was really surprised Manager Ed called me right away and apologized and that he is addressing the laundry room situation and was already in motion to rectify it. He obviously cares very much about the business and understands criticism is an opportunity for improvement. Very professionally handled.

Welcome to a place where there isn’t any laundry machine working and you can’t get any refund. The laundry room looks like this since last October. There isn’t any sign showing which one works or not. After trying 5 of them, paying for each single of them and loosing most my product and money, I’m done trying.- Also, don’t expect to sleep longer than 7.30 am on business days, they are going through renovations all over the place which half of the time leads to the water being shut down. you won’t have access to any water, it’s cut off during 4 to 6 hours per day.The pro: The hot springs water are nice and warm tho, at least.(Don’t expect to use the sauna spa tho, unless you don’t mind sharing it with cockroaches.)So much potential for a great place wasted because of a poor management to not say, no management at all.The people working at front desk are very nice and kind, I can’t blame them, the responsable are the company owning it.

We arrived in November, 2022 and we are very satisfied with the friendly staff here. They work hard to ensure people are happy. We enjoyed the hot pools and the beautiful Oasis at this resort.Ed the manager was very accomodating to us, and gave us a choice at the time of 3 different lots to choose from for our 4 month stay. The staff along with Ed are doing their best and working very hard while major improvements are being made here at Sams.Overall, we have been happy here and will return next year to enjoy this lovely Resort.

Me and my family have stayed here several times over the past year. This time it was very busy and the staff never missed a beat. I really liked the changes they have performed in the past 12 months. We had two other family members meet us there with their campers and we all had a great time. I highly recommend this hidden jewel. A lot to do just with a small drive nearby and also just staying at the resort. This is our favorite spot to stay here in California. I have never had any issues and they always are accommodating and professional. I did see the map when making reservations went away, I liked being able to see what was available and also pick our spot. Hope that finds its way back someday.

Such a wonderful experience in those hot springs!One of the only places around that uses saline and not chlorine to disinfect the water, and it makes all the difference!!The pools temperature is constantly checked and managed, and it was never too crowded in any of them.I spent the night with my RV and got access to the pools on both check in and check out days, full hookups, laundromat, little store- for pretty sweet deal for the price.The staff was super helpful and accommodating.I highly recommend it for either a day pass or an overnight stay.

Dodged a bullet. We almost stayed here but opted for KOA down the street. We decided to go for a bike ride and see what this place is like for our next trip. We were shocked.Place looked run down. Nothing like what the pictures depicted. Looking at them again I see theyre from a few years back. There are a lot of long term campers here. The picnic tables are weathered. The playgrounds and horseshoe pits were rundown and overrun with weeds. There were few kids out but it felt mostly like a ghost town on a Saturday evening. Stark contrast to the KOA that evening when we returned; kids playing in the streets, lively activities, families interacting, open well manicured grounds, what a family campground should be.I dont know what happened here but we were so relieved we didnt stay.

We pulled into an active construction site and then they switched our spot to the one we had chosen to a different one without telling us. When we asked about our multiple conformation emails listing our spot number, They said that ultimately they had the right to change it and it’s just a request, but it should be a comparable space. There was a live wire sticking out of the ground. There was loud construction all day long throughout the park with no mention of that on the website or upon check in. Our friends were parked next to us and had piles of garbage in their site from the long term tenants next to them. The main pool was nice and big but the a few of the pools were very dirty. Overall, I would not recommend this park. It is very different than advertised.

This place be acting like they the high end of the spectrum of Spas out here. Every single area there is out of code standards so when i see them charging $30 for an all day pass Im just gonna blast it here.. you guys are out of your minds. Some establishments have a bathroom thats worth $30 admission fee I didnt even want to go in there to use the bathroom for free. This place has one swimming pool the size of a pool in your backyard and its full of everyones children. There is no pool for adults. . The only thing going for this place are the animals or barely kept alive for legal reasons and theres plenty of hot tubs. Is that water up the code I doubt it. Half the hot tub jets dont work. $30 for an all day pass here Id have to say that someone in management there is on crack.

Came with friends for the $25/weekday hot spring and resort pass plus a towel. The 4 hot springs were great with pool swimming and sauna. One swimming pool was a bit brown and dirty, and the showers were slow to work with only cold water. A relaxing stop after hiking in Joshua Tree for the price!

I’m giving this 3 stars because the hot pools and saunas are nice but there is no working laundry (which is the main reason we stayed here and not Joshua tree) and the place needs a lot of TLC. Many long term residents live here and the staff weren’t very friendly.

Im from Los Angeles and Ive been coming to desert hot springs for 25 years. Ive stayed at almost every resort. This one by far is the best. The water is fresh out of the ground and not chlorinated. The staff are extra friendly and the rooms are newly renovated and clean.

The campground is large with a lot of friendly full timers. It was a lot of fun feeding the ducks and the swan. The dog park is definitely small and not a lot of space to run, but it does have grass, where a lot of the desert campgrounds have only sand.The sites are very small and we couldn’t fit our 34’ fifth wheel and truck at the same time. Luckily, there was no one camped on either side of us so we were able to park our truck half in another site. The staff offered to let us change sites to a larger site at no additional cost but we were already parked and they didn’t mind us being half in another site anyway.

Our go-to park in this area for several decades. Four chlorine- free hot pools with various temperatures, plus wading and large swimming pools, plus sauna. Clean park with family-friendly atmosphere.01/26/2023 Update: Park is upgrading some facilities, including more fire hydrants and better WiFi, and upgraded jets for the hottest mineral pool. These are pluses. Another plus is Ed, the on-site manager, who is very accessible and responsive to concerns. The minus is the substantial rate hike since last year, even when the improvements havent been fully delivered. Having said that, it is still our go-to park.

The motel room was pretty dirty, and there was dirty dishes and silverware in kitchen. but the staff, grounds, and pools were wonderful. I would suggest to them cleaning the rooms a little more thoroughly and new carpet... my kiddos feet were black walking around in the room. Ice cream was a great bonus after swimming.

Great pools. Nice lake. Great staff. Clean. (This was four years ago) Returned recently went to check in and everything changed, new owners who dont care. Place is crumbling to the ground, trash everywhere, you cant bring your own beer into the courtyard, kids are severely restricted (Sams FAMILY Spa). Spaces look unkempt, staff is rude and demanding. After a ten minute back and forth with staff, we left. Do not stay here. Worst park in the valley.

My family and I have been coming to Sams for about 5 or 6 years now. We have never had any issues with the place, and as always, the staff is very friendly and welcoming to the spa guests. All amenities are clean, organized, and perfect for someone who needs to wind down after working tirelessly during these past few months. That is why we decided to bring my mom to Sams on her birthday. Upon arrival, Vicky and Grace were extremely courteous to us in allowing my mom to celebrate here. I understand that there is a new management, and so far, my family and I dont have any complaints! (As long as the prices dont go up, my family will continue to come and enjoy Sams family spa. :D )

I lived here for 18 months., in a 5th wheel & found the other residents very nice & helpful., The site store does not have Everything., but what can you expect ( really ) but they do care about your needs., just a 5 mimute., if that.,drive down the road is a pretty well stocked conveinance store.. the Choice of Spa,s I would say is good., but could do with a makeover., but serve your purpose., along with a descent sized swimming pool. the prices overall are not that bad.. I would definatly come here again.

We checked things out at Sams family rv. Some spaces have a lot of stuff outside. We did the pool thing and it was AMAZING! Super clean, lots of options, and super clean. Did I mention that things were clean? The pool was cool but not freezing like at Catalina Spa RV Resort. Sams haa 4 hot tubs all at different temperatures, steam room, sauna, multiple different water features, fish and ducks you can feed, BBQ area, picnic tables... There were multiple grounds people working in the back ground making sure things were picked up, it was rare to see an ant around the pool too. It was so nice and a way better experience than what we experience at Catalina Spa RV Resort.

We spent 13 winters at Sams, sadly ending in 2019 at the beginning of the pandemic. We had a travel trailer on one of the sites and made many Canadian and American friends. The staff was always friendly and obliging. The best thing for us was that it is family friendly (one of few in the area) and our adult children and our grandchildren could use our place even if we werent there. When Covid hit and everything was so uncertain, and our Canadian travel insurance got costly, we decided to sell our trailer. We would love to return there for a month at a time and rent one of the trailers that are available to rent, but we have two small dogs that travel with us. Is there any chance of making a couple of the trailers that are rented seasonally, pet friendly? We highly recommend Sams as a great holiday destination!

The Sam’s Family Spa was a complete disappointment. Our family stopped for two nights on our way to beach. Let me just say that this was the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager did not know how to deal with guests and was extremely rude. The pool is not family friendly as my kids could not even use a snorkel and goggles because of the rules. My children were not be disruptive or loud, but simply snorkeling and they were made to feel like they had called the managers momma fat. We asked to check out early (before check-out time) and get our money back for the second night and the manager said no because we did not want to follow the rules. We simply wanted to find a resort in which our children could play in the pool and not be harassed, and find a place where we felt welcome. We have traveled and stayed at multiple hot springs in the southwest and never had any problems. Save your time and money and find a place that truly cares and is thankful you chose them to visit.What a joke!!!

Wonderful and relaxing FAMILY spa. Please dont come here thinking this is some fancy pants spa! This is more family oriented and quaint (kinda old, nothing has changed in the past 30 or so years). Its a diamond in the rough. So many bad reviews from people who expected something different. My parents used to bring us here as kids and now Im doing the same with my kids. It was very enjoyable experience, we rented the mobile home for a couple days (way too expensive it was super old) we kinda overlooked the age of the mobile home because all we did was essentially shower, cook and sleep there. We spent our days in the pools and spas or eating in one of the soft grassy areas. The beds were very very comfy better than some upscale resorts Ive stayed in, believe it or not I was pleasantly surprised with how comfy the beds were. If youre looking for upscale please keep on searching if youre more down to earth then this might just be your Oasis in the desert.

This was our vacation place when I was really young, like 1977 young. Back then we paid like $10 a night for our parking space for our RV with facilities access. I stopped by back in 1995 with no luck during 4th of July, they said they were overbooked. The prices have increased over the last 44 years. We were excited to stay here, but have been greatly disappointed by the horrible customer service. We set up two tents the first night and slept comfortably. The next day, staff treated us like we were deceptively trying to break the rules. They rudely informed us that only one “sleeping unit” is allowed per site. They treated us like we knew the rule and were intentionally trying to get away with something. We are a family of six and don’t have a tent big enough fo all of us. As they were completely empty, we tried to reason with them that there may be no harm in making an exception. I feel they could have been polite, but that was never their plan.The rules about the pool are also anything but family friendly. No toys, and our kids got yelled at for having goggles and a snorkel. Overall, we just walk away with a bad taste in our mouth following this visit.

Great pool, not too deep, there are some rules for the pool, your not allowed to have floaties, except life-jackets, but all the five times we have been there, the staff were super friendly, and they had no problem with our goggles and snorkels. The hot-tubs are entirely non-chemical, and they drain them every night to prevent mold from forming.Also there are 5 hot tubs and there heat sorted. One is kind of too hot for the kids, but the last one is about body temperature! I highly recommend this!! 😁

We booked this place online so we didn’t really know what we were getting into. When we arrived, the neon sign with the charicature of pot-bellied “Sam” at the entrance made us think the place is kitschy. But as we saw more we realized it’s a well run facility with a lot to offer. It’s very quiet, the landscaping is lovely (though a little dated) and the entire property is immaculate. Sam was truly a pioneer. He created a family friendly park that is both fun and relaxing. The mineral spas and showers did wonders on our skin. The pool was situated in their courtyard and surrounded by beautiful palm trees and landscaping. The small store offered a variety of cold drinks and a small wine secrion. Stayed here 5 months with a group of people who travel for work and Debbie did everything she could to make sure it was a miserable experience for all. Mean woman! If she can be avoided the place isnt too bad. Lots of kids ( a plus because I wanted kids for mine to play with) but lots of rules too, some of which are a little much. But you MUST obey them at all cost.She has cameras everywhere and watches them constantly. There is no off time for this woman! And there is no forgetting a rule.....ever. Some of the other staff....Kevin, Mike, Adrian and Eve are GREAT! Friendly and just good people all the way around!The park itself is okay, I like the rustic appeal, but Ive seen nicer. Its clean enough and my children loved the fish pond. Debbie really ruins this place.Watch out for thieves, its not safe to leave stuff outside, or locked up inside for that matter. Got there at night and it was hard to figure out where to park (they want u to find a spot prior to paying) but we did and although there was a noisy party going all night, when i mentioned it to management the next day we had a quiet night that night. Without them taking reservations or knowing about their different sites it was difficult to find a place to camp (you pick a site, pull in and tell the office where you are). This is our first visit to Sams. We were referred here from some people we met while camping in Oregon. I will have to say the mountain views are beautiful. We didnt get to spend much time in the mineral spa due to the limit of the number of people per pool. I understand covid-19 limits are a necessity. That being said, there are better ways to execute said limitations. A sign up sheet limiting time and allowing everyone a turn would be nice. Racing to the office at 9am to get a pool is ridiculous. We stayed for 2 months and noticed a drastic change in residents the last 2 weeks. Its as if management is more focused on quantity vs quality. At one point we had a Ryder moving truck camped next to us! Towards the end of our stay the changes happened, we checked in with the managed Lisa.She disappeared and it seemed that rules no longer were enforced. While the cats away the mice will play I guess! Since she left the campground showers and restrooms were not kept clean or stocked. The changing room showers were moldy, the floors extremely slippery and dirty, and tge trash bins were always overflowing. I cant comment on the wifi since we use our own. The employees live in trailers on-site which is fine, but youd think theyd want to keep things clean because of that. The laundry was okay, machines were out but had notes out of service. The store had limited supply of things, no beer or wine sales even after the date posted on their notice in the window.they referred me to the litter liquor store down the street, which was fully stocked. There was also a notice in the window threatening to call the covid-19 response department on you if you didnt wear a mask on their premises. They said theyd be embarrassed to have to do it, well yes it would be embarrassing to call a made up department, we kept out masks on even while walking the dog. I did witness employees not wearing masks while working, but I guess the mask on premises pertains only to guests. I understand covid-19 has changed the way businesses operate, but good customer service shouldnt be effected by the virus. No one greeted us when we came in and out of the office except one employee. He always said hello and didnt act like we were interrupting his internet search or text messaging. I didnt catch his name since no one wears name tags, but he is the only male store employee. Very friendly gentleman. The assistant manager (filling in for Lisa maybe?) I think I overheard her name (grace?) Acted as if we were an inconvenience to her if we needed anything other than access to the pool area. I talked to my friends and they said this is not the Sams they knew at all! Maybe we just got them on a bad season? Maybe some kinks need to be worked out and some training for new management . We will see, we will be back in the area after a trip to Arizona, if its still the same then maybe Sams isnt for us. There are lots of mineral springs in the area.

Was truly looking forward to good family time here but couldn’t really enjoy it. First and foremost we never felt welcomed by the office staff. I’ve felt that racist vibe in the past but chose to ignore it and focused on my family instead. Sleeping in the beds was quite challenging. You could feel stuff crawling on the legs and itchy throughout the night. Not to mention the bug bites when you get up in the morning. Horrible. Oh and make sure not to forget to tidy up your rooms before you leave cause they’ll charge you and tell you you trashed the place. Or is it just the Latino people that they fuss about. Sams is one of my favorite places to stay in the Southern California desert. They have one large pool for swimming, a wading pool for kids, and four hot pools for soaking. We go to Sam’s at least twice a year during the cold months. It is out favorite hot spring camping resort. The big swimming pool is nice and warm in the winter for playing around. The hot pools never feel too crowded. Management changed around 2019 and the prices have gone up a bit but are still quite attractive since entrance to the pools is included. We use to love coming here for years. The people were easy going and didnt fuss about the small stuff and just let people enjoy their stay. We tow a small 17 ft camper with a small pop-up truck camper in the bed of the truck that I use for an office. This last visit here they came to our site and told us we could not pop up if we wanted to keep the truck here. We told her we didnt sleep in it but she didnt care. I asked her, what has happened to this place?, it use to be so friendly and easy going?. She had no response to that and just slowly walked away. While she was leaving she commented something about us being plugged in to electricity. If she only knew that we probably use less electricity than most of the other RVs here have as their phantom draw. Most of them are 50 ft motorbikes or fifth wheels on 50amp service. Meanwhile our little 15 amp plug I was using to charge my laptop was her main concern. To top all that off, while we were walking thru the lobby, this older man walked passed us on his way to the pool. But the woman at the counter started repeatedly yelling at him because he didnt clearly show her his bracelet as he walked past. In front of about 10 other patrons in the room no less. Well, weve had some enjoyable times here in the past. Weve recommended it to many other full time RV travelers like ourselves and even had our trailer stored here for a year. But I cant vouch for it anymore. This place has seen much better days and is now on a steep downward trajectory. This will be our last visit.

Terrible!!!! The absolute worst camping experience of my life. I was severely disapointed there is a quiet time starting at 11:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. which was a factor in deciding to stay at this campground. However there is no one to enforce it!! We spent the night listening to at least two groups of drunks and their screaming children, some one driveing there loud diesel truck around reving the engine and then leaving it idle for at least an hour and half. Made calls to the office as well as searched for some kind of watchman/security no answer/none to be found. Also the bathrooms were so disgusting they were unusable (and I grew up in the hills in an old house with no running water with no bathroom but the outhouse out back). The next morning we were woke up before 7 by loud obnoxious people who were clearly drinking again or still drunk. When we went to the office to complain we were told there is no security or night staff at all but they hope people do the right thing and if not they encourage people TO CALL THE POLICE if others are to loud. However no one mentioned this policy at all while we were checking in. I would never stay again and would discourage anyone who is considering a stay there.

This place is better than it has ever been and only going to get better all the time. The energy is so much better and no negative entities feeling the air around you or your getaway time anymore. People are even smiling much more here now. Its like a HEAVY WEIGHT was lifted off on all the staff and they are filled with joys and smiles again. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication and they are holding us responsible for it... super LAME customer service!!!!!! I asked what time Hot Springs closed when we made the reservations and she said 11 PM. She did not tell us that we could not check in after 11 PM and they would not give us a refund. We arrived at 11:15PM. Since no one was there, we had to Google the nearest hotel and stay at the Aqua. This is most unfortunate because we were very much looking forward to the experience. As you know life happens and doesn’t always go as planned. I’m also a yoga studio owner and know this more than anyone. It’s unfortunate that he felt we were trying to take advantage and wouldn’t even let us reschedule with an open date. Anyway, the man on the phone was more interested in being right and entitled so I will not recommend this place to anyone. Greed is so destructive....

Twice I have stayed there and twice I have encountered the absolute RUDEST employee I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. All the other people are great, but there one lady in particular, I didnt get her name, but she is an older american lady (60s?) with short hair and I think she might sadly be the manager. Well I will never go back to these hot springs again, just because if her FOUL attitude. NEVER in all my years have I ever encountered an employee who is so, so lacking in customer service. Im sure the other reviews are accurate, but I just want to reiterate how mean the old lady(owner) is! Ive managed to steer clear of her and its because Ive witnessed on several occasions the way she talks to kids (and adults, for that matter, but shes horrible to defenseless kids) I once was checking the mail and three young girls came into the lobby (which you must, to get to the pool/ hot tubs) and she scolded them and actually called them brats for wanting to go back to the pool without an adult present. It was clear, they had only been gone from swimming to eat dinner or something because they still had bathing suits on and theyre damp! I just hope the little girls parents didnt let it slide! Shes always rude, almost goes out of her way to do so!! I love this place, its where I met my wife, and we are full timers who spend the holidays here to see my wifes family. Only real knocks are location is out in the boonies and park WiFi is not useable for anything, including surfing web and reviewing emails. Yesterday I reserved an entire month at this Resort online and they put a pending charge on my card. Today I received a call that they could not take monthly reservations online. We called and they said well there will be a spot for you here but we cant take the reservation online because you need to fill out a Credit Application. I told her never in all my years of booking a campground has anyone asked me to fill out a Credit application when I was willing to pay for the entire month upfront. I asked her if I could just pay the entire month upfront and be done with it. She said, no because you still have to fill out a credit app. I said I dont need to fill out a credit app if I am paying for it all upfront. She said we we just dont know if everyone that comes here can actually afford to stay here...I said what does it matter if they pay upfront? I did not actually stay here. I came here to do a repair on a Newmar Ventana (diesel pusher). Place was great looking, very clean. My customer came out from San Diego, so obviously its well worth it. He said he came because of the hot mineral spa, that him and his family come out every year. Sounds worth trying. Last year we purchased a home in the valley thanks to sams for us falling in love with the area. We had family members staying at sams while they were out visiting. on there last day I took my 2 kids 7 and 6 to say goodbye to there aunt and uncle. Knowing that they could have two guest to use the pool I said I wasn’t going to swim I just wanted to sit by the pool to watch my kids. The man at the front desk said ok. After getting the kids changed he came out and said the manager said I couldn’t sit by the pool. I didn’t know what to do my kids are changed waiting for their uncle. So we went back to the camper. I then approached the manager asking why I couldn’t sit and watch my kids I thought that was a little ridiculous she said that’s the rules. I told her that me sitting in my truck would leave time for this review. She then asked me to mention that I wasn’t a registered guest that’s why I couldn’t watch my kids swim in there pool. So here I am sitting in the parking lot why my family swims in the pool. Needless to say this will be the last time coming to sams it’s to bad because all of the staff are great except this woman. I guess she doesn’t have any family or she would understand.

We have spent several winters here with no issues, (other than the managers, and how rude they are towards other guests) usually things are fine. But?.. this year,.. there were half a dozen thefts in the park. & our space #169 was susceptible to prying-eyes! BE THAT AS IT MAY- When I filed a police report, I promptly asked for video surveillance of the entrance during the time(s) of the thefts. I have not had such a bad experience at a hotel in my life. I got the room with a kitchen and wow, it must have been the employee break room converted to a rentable room. I paid 165.00 a night, which because of Coachella, was not the problem. The problem was that for that price I still had plastic patio furniture! No couch, no chair, no dressers and one tiny night stand for two queen beds! There was four of us and that is what we got, four plates, four bowls, four glasses, four tiny coffee cups and four ice tea glasses. I asked for the maids to clean the room and they ONLY made the beds and gave us new towels. No toilet cleaned, no sink cleaned, no dishes done, no vacuuming or sweeping! WTH???? The ONLY good thing about the place was the pools. the customer service was deplorable. 15.00 a week for wi-fi that would kick us off constantly because one of the walls was bricks I guess. 5.00 room key deposit.There is other hot pool hotels and my advice would be to look further friends.

My son-in-law has a full time job he commute to every day.. the park still won’t give me a reason why they are not allowed to rent in their Moblie home park…. So I am giving them a chance to respond to my review on their park, because they do not have any evictions, criminal history, my son InLaw has a full time job their property management will give them a positive review since they were renting the apartment that burnt up for over 3 years and paid rent faithfully until they were made to evacuate from a fire that came from their upstairs neighbor… Other then I feel my daughter and her family are being Discriminated against the park seems nice …

Stayed at the hotel there and what a dive. The set up is terrible even the TV is located in the wrong place on the wall. Plastic patio furnature in the room. You felt like you were in a 1960s hotel that was rented by the hour. Very dingy for the money 100+. I would not recomend this place. I went to the spa area with a bottled water in my hand to sit jsut outside the area and was jumped on within minutes for having a drink with me. Cameras everywhere I would bet they might even be in the room your staying in.
