The food was delicious. We started with their house salad which was so fresh and pretty tto look at. I wanted lamb, but they were out of it. Our waitress recommended the halibut. I had halibut. It had an exquisite sauce and the vetables were so delicious. My husband had salmon. He ate the broccali too! He loved the sauce. We were served 2 yummy breads, with an olive oil and vinegar type dipping mix. We had an awesume wine called Meiome which complimented the meal well. We had blueberry topping over cheese cake for dessert.My hubby gave me $5.00 to play as we were leaving, and we were pleasantly pleased with the winnings which paid for over half the meal.Great way to bring in the new year.Also our waitress was wonderful.

Had a group of 16 people. We were seated right away.They took our drink order, didnt arrive for 30 min + we had a big party but at least start us off with drinks faster.They took our apps and entree order together.Apps are good, but pricey for what it is.Main course arrived 1 hr after arrival. But big party, thats fine.Prawn Pasta - prawns great, sauce and noodles not so muchPasta Puttanesca - dont recommendNew York - steak was excellent. 15 potato was awesome as well.Lamb Shank- very tender, taste almost like french bourguignon.Salmon- somewhat dry, its eh.Presentation was pretty and all. This place is for an experience, overall it was ok.

Im rating the RE-OPENING of Safire. (I didnt like the first Safire food when they opened cuz it was Asian fusion and it wasnt in my taste palate. The reopened Safires food - American dining is much better).Customer service was great - they topped off my water frequently without me noticing. I can see they are aiming for high dining, desire for rsvp guests, and the food price is expensive. Dessert and appetizer starts at $9 if yalls wanna know.Per the images, the amount of food was perfect. Great plating. Pasta was clumpy together. Lamb was kinda gamey. Tastes better than good but doesnt exceed excellent.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN ALL OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! I do not say this lightly and it takes quite a bit for a restaurant to impress me.In my travels and adventures over the past 20 years or so I have eaten at many fine establishments and five star restaurants throughout Northern and the Central Valley.Whether it be from San Francisco to Eureka or Burney to Fresno. From Marin to Santa Cruz or from Paso Robles to Truckee. I have tried it all!I am a foodie from way back and I must say I am also quite the home chef. That being said, I am a very hard to impress patron when it comes to fine dining. If I could have made it better myself at home I feel like I just got ripped-off for the cost of the meal and wasted my time waiting.I will not complain. Oh no no no. I will not request a refund or a discount. I will not even leave a comment in the suggestion box! I simply will not come back and if asked by friends, family, or even a stranger how a place is I will give my honest opinion good, bad, or indifferent.I have only felt inclined to promote or recommend a place twice in my life. The first one was a hole in the wall pizza place where they made pizza from scratch using an old family recipe and this hole in the wall pizza place happens to be at a bowling alley in San Rafael.Safire is the second place I have ever felt inclined to recommend to anyone!I dont care if its a complete stranger and theyre trying to decide on a place to eat in a conversation with somebody next to me. I will recommend this Safire with enthusiasm and delight! Because I know they will love it and because if they were a guest in my home I would serve them something prepared with just as much love, consideration, and attention to detail as the staff and chefs at Safire.Many people whom I have recommended eat at Safire are first timers. Hands down every single time I have seen that person again they take the time to approach me and thank me for the recommendation!I highly recommend the Ahi Nachos it is an appetizer that is sure to please! My husband had never tried Ahi before and I suggested we try the Ahi nachos. From that moment on we were in love with Safire!

The view is amazing for a few nice drinks, by a fire pit with a view of the Sunset and the Coastal Range. Definitely wished I could have stayed longer. Food and a drink menu, along with desserts.It would be an awesome place go rent out for an event. Definitely one of my top 5 picks for my 30th B-Day coming up.If youre from out of town, its nice to know your hotel is close by as well as some other bars to check out within the casino. The gas station is on the same property and is generally the second cheapest place in town for gas.

I give Safire grill 3 stars... not for the food... ONLY for the amazing service!!! Or bartender/waitress was above amazing!!!! Made our drinks..amazing.Made sure to check on us...amazing.HOWEVER... the menu( we ordered apps only) is COMPLETELY WRONG unless you use the exact Safire website!!! Now on to the chef.... Hes decently disrespectful 😤The manager was, at least, responsive and respectful ( even though he had no real answer to any questions). He at least apologized but THE CHEF!!!!!HES A POMPOUS PRICK!!! HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT WHAT OTHERS WANT! HE SAID THAT HES Raising the taste palette here. ... but not listening to feedback!!!For drinks... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a peaceful place with good drinks and good staff.Patronage is a problem, guess why....?

I had a great experience in the Safire restaurant. The presentation of all of the dishes were amazing, especially the soft pretzel that I got. Prices are a little higher, but each dish has a unique flavor profile (from what I read on the menu). Wish I would have tried the peanut butter cheesecake!

On my last two visits, my steaks were horribly overcooked. A medium rare steak arrived well done and I had to send it back because I couldnt eat it. The replacement was medium well, with barely any pink inside, but I ate it because my companion had already finished her entree.I really wanted to like Safire and would probably eat there weekly, as we did at the old steakhouse (before they ruined it by turning it into Applebees East in the first edition of Safire). Unfortunately, although prices are much higher than the old steakhouse, they dont seem capable of cooking a steak. We wont be returning.

Comfortable atmosphere, great bar to meet with friends except NO HAPPY HOUR! Drinks and appetizers good but prices are exorbitant, glass of cab $19, the least expensive of the 3 choices. As we had friends join us we were a party of 8. Service was impeccable but he ( or someone) should have told us that the gratuity was included in our bills. I looked at my receipt as I always do but did not see it. Consequently, our server collected $100+ in tips!! Ethically speaking, I was highly disappointed.

The service was and ambience was exceptional .... the one star isnt a mistake tho. We were so excited to see that the restaurant was finally re-opened to find out that the food was beyond terrible. What I initially wanted to order wasnt available, so I settled for hand made angel hair pasta and sauteed prawns ... what I got was a pile of homemade, hard & barely cooked fettuccini noodles piled high with what seemed like out-the-the bag precooked shrimp. The Cesar salad dressing was so bitter, I could barely eat it, some of the lettuce had brown edges (also most likely out-of-the bag). My husband had a steak that was supposed to be marinated in a red wine, what he was was something that tasted soaked in cheap Gallo wine. The chef really needs to get a clue or they need to hire someone that knows how to cook a good meal. Seriously ... this used to be an awesome restaurant with really good food. Now the prices has darned near doubled and the quality is in the toilet. Sorry to post such a terrible review but sadly, we wont be back - feeling really deceived and ripped off.

Do not waste your money (0 stars isn’t an option or that is what I would give). My husband and I were hoping to enjoy an amazing meal, instead I received what looked like warmed up ramen noodles and overcooked shrimp. It was horrible, I ate 3 bites and couldn’t choke down anymore. My husband got the steak and prime rib, it was cooked well (med rare) but had no seasoning. $119 for food that we couldn’t enjoy. When the waitress came and asked if she could take my FULL plate out of the way I knew then it must be normal for them. She didn’t bother to offer me a box although I never complained and was very polite (it wasn’t her fault the food was horrible). It was our first and last time here. Such a shame, the hotel and casino are decent- but this restaurant is absolutely horrible.

This is an excellent place to eat for a night out. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are always on their toes to help you. The food may seem pricey for some but can definitely be worth it if you know the right dish. Appetizers always taste delicious and even the presentation of their water and menu is great. This is a great place to go on a date with that special someone or to celebrate a win in life. Ive been here several times and never left with a bad experience.

The food was good but, I felt they were skimping a bit. My husband got shrimp pasta and there were literally only 4 shrimp.. we asked the bartender for more sauce for our appetizer and she said sure and then never brought it, then we asked the manager and he said he’d bring it right out, never happened, we didn’t get more for about 20 minutes when we were sat at a table our server finally got it for us. Wanted blue cheese dressing and they don’t have it.. So overall I’d say everything was just ok... the steakhouse was much better.

Love the design and view- its worth holding your breath through the cigarette smoke filled casino to get to! The staff was like unbelievably friendly and sweet. I had the shrimp peach salad with feta. The shrimp had this divine cajun spice thing going on. While the dressing wasnt the most sophisticated ever, the salad altogether was irresistibly satisfying.

We have been here twice now since January 2019 and it’s my new favorite place. We have never had a formal sit down dinner but both times we enjoyed happy hour cocktails and appetizers. The ahi nachos are one of the best things I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable and it’s a great place to watch the sunset, have some drinks and enjoy amazing food. I would recommended try it and the service is outstanding.

Besides throwing up later that night, i thought the dining experience was very good. The waiter was funny, the food tasted very good, so good Id still eat here again lol.

Perfect spot for a date night. Ambiance is romantic. And the food is delicious. The wine is good and paired nicely with the dishes. I always ask the staff what they like if Im unsure what to try. Never disappointed.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food had great presentation and was delicious. Some of the best. And the service was outstanding. They went out of their way to make my lobster perfect, even to the point of re-cooking my lobster because the first wasnt up to par. And a nice balcony to have a drink on at the end? Why not. Highly recommended.

My friend and I had dinner at the safire room at the beginning of January, I was so disappointed because the first time Id eaten there I had steak Diane which melted in my mouth, that was about a year or so ago. This time I had a steak that was tough and my friends dinner was a little better but still not worth the money. The service was fantastic, my server was Tanya and as I said she did a great job. This is no reflection on her.

We all had the prime rib, it was probably the worse we ever had at any restaurant. Mashed potatoes tasted like some kind of instant creation that came out of a can. It took an hour and a half to get our food from the time we sat down. Not only was everything horrible here but as soon as we sat down security comes over to us and tells me that I have to register my service dog with the casino. So they pulled me out of the restaurant made me walk all the way back to the lobby to give me the 3rd degree about why I need a service dog. On top of all of this we got no drink refills or bread as promised. Stay away, you will not have an enjoyable evening.
