One of the finest supermarkets specialized in high-quality and diverse products with everything a housewife needs, including the basics of home food supplies. They are distinguished by the fact that they have more than 920 branches in the United States of America and are distinguished by the most important thing, which is a cooperative staff ready to meet customers’ requests. I recommend visiting it on a daily and weekly basis, especially on Fridays every week, due to the large number of offers they have.

Florist lady working there is so arrogant, racist and toxic that I dont want to go back to this location just because of her. She seems to have some kind of beef with younger girls, since every time I go there and pick up flowers she gives me an attitude for no reason whatsoever. I wouldnt take my time to write a review about her if she didnt asked me if I knew how to write while she was giving me a note! Like seriously?! Maybe doubt your own intellectual abilities since you act the way you do...Get some manners and learn how to treat people!!!

For starters... I must say that its nice that this store is open 24hrs. I came in here to use the restroom then proceed to shopping but wow did my decision change quickly. I went into the restroom only to spot something that looked like a cockroach. I stopped its lights out then went to tell the staff which was lounging around. They seemed to smirk at me and didnt address the situation. I aint coming back to this store even for the midnight purchases anymore. Its your decision but mine is no way!

Got a sandwich at the deli. The price has really gone up, used to be a good deal, now it not. Staff was excruciatingly slow (30+ minutes to get 5 basic sandwiches) and looked like they wanted to die. Ordered a Reuben, it was soggy, undercooked, and tasted of disappointment and wasted dreams. Never going there again.

Why is it that the produce on the floor is molded, wilted, or unsuitable for sale? Dog treats are molded, steaks are grey, or grey by the next day. They need a better resource that provides quality and they need to check their products better. Ive been in and looked at strawberries that just got stocked and have the white mold on them.

I love coming to this Safeway. This store is always clean and the employees are really helpful. Anytime the lines get long, they open another line or take you to self checkout and assist you. The deli is clean, and I have never had a problem with the food there. The Starbucks baristas are always nice, make an effort to get to know you, and they are willing to give you suggestions of different drinks to try or different ways to make them.The pharmacy is fantastic. They have always filled our prescriptions quickly. They also are great at giving advice regarding medicines.

Great store. Plenty of products to choose from. You can find name brands alongside store brand all with various price points.I was rather disappointed this morning. I needed to buy some milk and there were many empty shelves in the milk case.I would also like to see them clean their produce bins. I think they are in need of a deep cleaning on a more regular basis.

7/14/20 between 1 and 2 pm.I wish to thank the wonderful, helpful lady assisting with customers using self checkout. I am 75 and have problems with my memory. I was having a problem checking out with the machine and my card. I asked her to watch my things while I went to the car to get my daughter to help me. I explained my problem and she was more than understanding. She assisted me and and made me feel relaxed and comfortable I wish I would of gotten her name as she is a perfect example of customer service. The world needs more people like her.

Its a smaller Safeway. Typically if I get Safeway-for-u deals, they will include items for free to try but this Safeway doesnt always carry them. Parking is tight, but plentiful. Staff are generally helpful, particularly in the bakery.

I was very frustrated this morning at this location. There was 1 checkstand open and a long line of people with full charts. About 6 other employees were standing around while 1 poor cashier looked nervous and stressed. I stood in line at least 15 mins with my small children and this cashier got zero help. I just dont understand why a business is run in a way where employees cant/wont help with whatever needs to be done and I think that getting customers thru check out in a reasonable amount of time should be a priority. I feel bad for customers and employees here.

Mainly because they don’t have good systems in place. When you enter your phone number for your rewards account it does not show a name (just a first name would be enough and wouldn’t be a security issue) and simply acknowledges the phone number was entered. Yes, this is the fault of my memory, but I entered my cell and that’s not the phone number on our rewards account (under my wife’s number). The rewards didn’t show up. I was using the self-checkout, which I usually do wherever I go without problems. The lady came over and entered a discount so I got the sale price. I voided one item and she cleared that, too, so I could check out. I didn’t see until I got home that I was still charged for the item I didn’t get. I had to go back and went to customer service. I showed my receipt and explained what happened. She was holding my receipt and said I should get $2 back. I knew it was supposed to be just over $2, but I didn’t want to argue about it. When she gave me the money and the receipt back I saw the amount of $2.25 for the item I didn’t get was very clearly printed on the receipt! Why did she only give me $2, especially when I had to make a special trip to get the refund? She should have offered me $3 or $5 or something for the fact I had to return because I was overcharged!!

The butcher is by far one of the nicest and humble human beings I have ever met! I’ve been coming to him for years! He remembers me everytime and is always so helpful and knowledgeable of his trade! He just saved my life on helping me pick a nice cut of steak for thanksgiving! Last minute plans and it looks like cooking landed on me this year so he really came through for me!!!! I forgot his name lol but I came in around 6:45 pm tuesday night before thanksgiving. Your the best my guy! Happy thanksgiving Safeway family.

Beautifully Managed store. The store was flawless. Im a caregiver and my client switch us from Rawleys to Safeway and I was disappointed until I walked through the store. My 89 yr old client complained that Rawleys was too dark, not well lite for her.

This Safeway is awesome. Clerks are nice and helpful. Always smiling and great to have conversations with. Theyre often out of stock of things I buy regularly. It really is unfortunate that it is so close to my home but I have to go to another store to buy my cereal, milk at times and a couple of other things for an entire week before it returns to this Safeway.

Have been a Shopper here since the day it opened and my little (now adult) daughter was the very 1st retail customer thru the doors, they have the nicest employees, an Amazing Deli (Boars Head All the Way!!) and the member points fuel discounts are always appreciated (even if I have to get fuel in Roseville. Just like days gone past they will remember your name if your a regular and always helpful if you need help.

Shout out to the great butcher crew.Great personal service as always today.However while they were taking great care of me a large man, (manager?)with a shaved head and a red shirt came over and was very inappropriate in front of customers seemed clear that he was threatening their jobs for not having face masks on. I understand policies need to be followed even if it may be an overreaction. But I feel like an effective leader would have a talk to them in private not in front of me.

Ultra modern store in Open 24 hours a day. Went into store to get my Water dispenser machine bottles refilled up at 2:30 Am. Its 100 degrees in the daytime. Friendly employees, Good selection in the Deli department. Love this store more than my local Madison/Dewey Drive store. Employees there are RUDE!!

Its just a grocery store.Okay but no, its MY grocery store! I did all the weekly shopping there and got flu shots every season at their pharmacy and the staff were always so pleasant and really got to know frequent customers.Their ethnic food sections are more expansive than competitors and even other Safeways. Which is important when, say, cooking kosher.The $5 Friday deals cant be beat and Ill admit sometimes I would shop on Friday even if we didnt need anything just for the deals. You could pick things up just to have for future meals. If theyre out of stock theyll offer a comparable deal on other brands.The store itself is conveniently located, clean, and easy to navigate.

My review is strictly related to receiving my Covid-19 vaccination at the pharmacy, hopefully this will be helpful for others in the area looking to do the same. I feel like the entire process was handled very well, and am overall pleased with the interaction. Setting up the appointment was trivial using the website (its on Albertsons.com, apparently they own Safeway?) and I was able to get an appointment only one day in advance. There was a single informed consent firm that I had to print and fill out before the appointment, the same one that is required everywhere. On arrival, I just had to go to the pharmacy at the rear of the store to check-in, and then I had to just wait a few minutes since I had arrived early. I was then called in to the private room for my shot. The nurse was very pleasant. It took a couple minutes to get my shoulder exposed and sterilized, and then I must have looked away for a second because next thing I knew she was putting a bandaid on me. I swear I never felt a thing. I never really have any issues with shots or giving blood, but this was completely unnoticed. After the shot, I was told that its best to hang out for 15 minutes to make sure there were no adverse reactions so I just chilled out in the waiting room for a bit and then went home. Great experience!One other thing I feel I should give the staff kudos for was the way they handled a more difficult situation with another customer. One of the folks that was there also waiting for an appointment fainted briefly while he was waiting. Im not sure of the details on what happened, but Id guess that the guy probably had some sort of anxiety/panic issue around getting the shot. The staff took excellent care of the young man and kept the situation from getting any more tense for everyone involved. Nothing specific, just handled the situation with calm professionalism and had the man feeling better very quickly. Maybe something you had to experience to understand, but the professionalism was comforting to everyone present. Well played!

This Safeway is my favorite grocery store in the area. There are great deals (if you have a Safeway Rewards card) and discounts on gas at Safeway gas stations and Chevron stations (theres one across the street).The store is kept neat. The employees are helpful and friendly. They have self-checkout if youre in a hurry. Also, Ive found that on many food items, their Safeway Select brand is very high quality for a lot less money than popular brands.

Incompetent employees pushing stupid corporate policies makes this place avoidable. Asked to have 3 bundles of flowers wrapped together the employee said the flowers are now twice as much? Go to Raleys down the street they won’t try to pull this shady move on you. There are literally 5 florists within 3 miles of this place way to discourage sales and encourage waste. Won’t go back because they really don’t have anything you need unless you live next to it.

About a month ago they was visiting my family in Calif while there we would shop at a Safeway on Madison Ave in fairoaks we went through check stand 3 about 11am when I had put my wallet on counter and forgot it there.we called the store and they had asked all the checkers if they seen it...they all said no .so we went back in to check ourselves as soon as my sister went to check stand 3 to look around, the checker (Chrissy) says so sorry she hasnt seen it .we went to customer service and asked if they can look at the camera.which they did and found out Chrissy had hidding it under her counter. So other words she tried to steal my wallet!!! Then the next time we went in the checker spotted us and had the nerve to say long time no see knowing that she tried to rip me off.

This Safeway store is very nice except for the condition of the womens bathroom. There are often no paper towels, theres an out-of-order toilet that has been broken for some time, and the seat in one of the Stalls is broken. There is very little attention paid to the restroom throughout the day.

The safeway up here on Madison and Hazel rocks. Great selection of ice cream, food, deli items and beer. The night crew is a cool bunch of peeps and if you shop the discounts and coupon items you can make out like a bandit. They also have an amazing array of fruits and vegetables and in both Organic and non - Or (regular)

Its a real grocery store. Selection is decent and produce is alright. Organics are typically very low quality, but conventional stuff can be good. Pricing includes gimmicks such as registering with the store to get the advertised price, or buying multiple items. Often products will be advertised as Local when they are from across the state.What i dislike most about these stores is that the checkout lines are chronically understaffed. You might as well shop at whole foods when you take into account how long you will wait in line to check out at Safeway.

This review was a 5 star for my friendly neighborhood Safeway. I always go here. I am not a mask sergeant however it is a California state Mandate. With that being said...Was here last night watching a guy go around coughing on people who were wearing masks. He was not wearing a mask and thought it was funny. He then comes up to me and coughs all joking like and again thinking it is funny. The employees and management are not enforcing the mask mandate.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order your child’s birthday cake here. I came to pick up the cake for my 3 year olds party over 2 hours after it was supposed to be done and they had not even started making it. Then the printer was down because they ran out of yellow ink and couldn’t even make what we ordered. Absolutely unacceptable. Ive only been to this location twice since I recently moved to the area, this location is exceptionally clean, well stocked and very well staffed. I had been shopping at the Rst location for 11 years, in that 11 years Ive watched that location sadly deteriorate. Management was disrespectful to say the least. Ive contacted the better business bureau, Safeway Inc and coinstar to inform them of a policy implemented at this location that is unknown to customers. Apparently they cannot honor coinstar vouchers between unspecified hours for no apparent reason. Systems allow it however they dont seem to care enough about their valued customers to at the very least post some signage. I hope they are in violation of their contract with coinstar and I hope Wendy is reprimanded for the disregard to customer satisfaction.

I was in the Orangevale store on saturday and was greeted by an employee with a Happy Holidays. My girlfriend replied Merry Christmas to him and he replied as long as I have my name tag on I can only say Happy Holidays. Very sad !!!! His reason behind that statement was even more sad.
