Normally the service is adequate. ShoppingDrive up and Go is a gamble. I made a call at 2:30and my pick up time was 4.00. I arrived at 3:45,and called. My order wasn’t ready. At 4:15 I canceled.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here. The staff is very friendly, store is always clean and the prices are great.They have a great deli and bakery. Their Starbucks is fast and fab.Restrooms are clean, atm inside, variety of alcohol, drinks, food, snacks, and fresh fruit and veggies

This is a pretty good Safeway, as far as Safeway stores go. They have a good selection of products you would expect to find, and the store has always appeared pretty clean when I have visited.I did notice this store is way out ahead when it comes to Christmas decorating! This is the most decorations I have seen anywhere so far this year... And we still have a couple weeks until Halloween! You do you, Safeway!

Location : Safeway Del Paso Blvd, NatomasI am giving 1 star because there is no option of a negative star rating. What a horrible customer service in butcher department 05/15/204 at 11.35am. An female employee serving me refused to serve because i pointed to the fish i wanted. She continued to insist I read the name of the fish and was laughing, despite repeated attempts to get service she continued and forced me to to read the name, I continued to point at what I wanted. I asked for Manager while she was walking away. Brian came in, I explained to him, he said the same thing he cant see while standing behind the counter. I told him if he can see where I am pointing, he will know what I want. eventually he bent down to pick up the fish I wanted and served. He apologized and said since me the customer has to face this situation, there is no cost to you which I declined as as I am not there for free service.I am just wondering how will this person behind the counter ( female ) will serve a customer who does not read English and points to the product he wants ?? I only hope a Company Like Safeway is not practicing discrimination by looking at how a person looks !!!

Safeway bakery u let me down! Ok I love my Natomas Safeway but you have just lost a star. My family loves the strawberry loaf cake its my goto when we have any get togethers. But I came to pick one up for my daughters birthday because she asked for one. And I see this one layer sad looking cake. Safeway what have you done! I know there are cut backs but the cake really. And the pictures do not really show just how sad this cake looks now. 😕 Im embarrassed to take it home to her. She was so looking forward to this. It used to touch the top of the container. Actually all of the cakes look like half of what they used to be.

This store is worst at the entire Sacramento!!Every time when there is sale on the weekly flyer they always run out especially deli and bakery departments!!!! I mean if you can not stock up the sale you mind as well excluding this location! It is time to look at the management ability for this store and hire good quality staffs particular at the deli department!! Very disappointed and never will go to that store anymore.

I went to the deli to order a fried chicken meal and the chicken was raw. Customer service was quick to give refund (much appreciated), but chicken needs to be fried longer.

Im disappointed with the bakery. Their customer service is great however this is the 3rd time their Tres Leches cake is DRY. I dont know why they even label their cake Tres Leches when theres no moisture in the cake. Im extremely disappointed especially after the second instance I had brought it to their intention because I had called ahead and asked for extra milk mixture and it was hardly anything. I really hope they actually learn to make a proper Tres Leches cake or stop labeling their DRY fruit cakes as Tres Leches.

Self check out is always nice to skip register lines, great breakfast burritos and Friday deals are a must… also has Starbucks inside

If you mustI am usually very pleased with Safeway but this store misses the mark. This review is based on breakfast and lunch orders at this location for the past two days. On Day 1 I noticed the deli area was pretty deserted and waited for assistance. I watched employees yelling back and forth for supplies and stocking shelves. After about 3 minutes I asked for assistance and once again the yelling began. Eventually I received rushed assistance. Before my sandwich was out of the oven another worker was called to assist with the register. I told her my order and that I wanted Advocodo. She asked the lady making the sandwich if I had Advocodo to which she immediately replied no! However she had never asked me about wanting anything on the sandwich. After that, the lady at the register totalled my item twice and could not figure out how to correct it. It took her four transactions to get my total correct.Fast forward to Day 2 (today). The experience in the morning was again less than desirable. People were yelling for numbers at the register because they could not check out customers. The deli worker was much nicer. She provided me with a great sandwich. Lunch was a mess! Again the deli staff was limited or yelling for assistance. There was only chicken and Mac n cheese in the hot deli. The few hot wings in the case looked as though theyd been there all day. When questioned about potato wedges, we were told wed have to wait for them to be dropped and cooked. I ended up getting a chicken meal with Mac n cheese and Chinese chicken salad. After I ordered the person behind me insisted they check the back for wedges and they were sitting waiting to be brought to the front. I just laughed. The chicken good but the Mac n cheese was not! It was watered down and barely tasted of cheese; it was just creamy. The Chinese chicken salad was the worst ice ever had. I cant even begin to tell you what that was!?The store was clean but the deli needs help! Safeway has a good reputation for the deli. This location is not a good look!
