2024-01-14 05:39:10The table in the rest area in front of the restroom is not maintained at all. I wonder if they dont even report it if they find something like this while cleaning.Update(following)(1/8/24)When I visited here 3 days ago, the table was not properly maintained, the screws were loose and the cleanliness was a mess, so I left a review, but 3 days later, it is still not maintained. The company said they would take good care of comments, but I dont know if they are doing well.(1/13/24)Even though I told them in my review that the table was not fixed well, they still havent fixed it.

2024-04-05 22:45:11My favorite Safeway to go to in the area. Clean, well-stocked, and customer service is excellent. Gina at the register was especially pleasant. She was very friendly in her greetings and interactions with to every person in line. I noticed this because often cashiers just scan and go through the motions, which I don’t blame them, but Gina was especially attentive to each customer and that was much appreciated. It could make someone’s day and she made ours!

2024-07-05 02:54:44Horrible. They definitely win the award of worst Safeway in the country.I am a long time customer. I shop at Safeway multiple times a week. I often times run in after a long day at work and working out at the gym next door. Im tired. I dont want to interact with anyone and want to go in and out - which is why I use self check out. I usually grab a basket and shop. I only use the registers when I go on a larger shopping trip when I fill up an entire cart. The last time I went to this Safeway, it was not a busy time of day. No lines. I went to self check out, put my basket down, and starting scanning my items. One of the employees RUSHED over to me and started counting the items in my cart and exclaimed YOU HAVE MORE THAN 15 ITEMS!!! YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE REGULAR REGISTER!!! She then literally started moving my basket and items as I was standing there and after I had started scanning. She caused a scene, embarrassed me, and treated me like I was a CRIMINAL when I was a PAYING CUSTOMER. No apologies. Nothing. And just for context, I had probably 18-20 items in my basket. I would have had 15 if I grabbed a small case of waters instead of a few individual waters. It would have taken me less than 1 minute to scan all of my items. It wasnt like I was at self check out with a huge cart full of groceries.A civil way to handle this would have been to let me know for next time that Safeway is a pain in the butt and requires customers to literally count every single item that goes into their basket because god forbid they have 16 or 17 items and in that case would need to go to the regular register. This policy is ridiculous (life is stressful enough, and now they are asking me to COUNT EVERY ITEM?!?) but at least I would have known for NEXT time rather than being inconvenienced and forced to move to a register when I was already scanning my items. When I finally headed over to the regular register, I noticed that the two customers behind me had LESS THAN FIVE ITEMS EACH!! They chose to use the regular registers. And yet I was kicked out of self check out because I had 18 items instead of 15. So the very people that the self check out is being saved for, dont even want to use it!!Bottom line is that the employees at this Safeway handled this in the worst way possible. I used to LOVE Safeway. I was there almost every day. I associated Safeway with the feeling of comfort and an easy, non-threatening, low stress shopping experience. And now I HATE Safeway and feel disgust when I think of that store. I cannot believe that loyal customers are treated like criminals. They need to learn customer service 101. The employees there are clueless and prefer fighting with customers instead of de-escalating the situation.Ever since this incident I have gone out of my way NOT to return to Safeway at all, and especially this one. I have had lovely shopping trips at Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target, and am now getting a Costco membership. If I do HAVE to purchase something at Safeway, I will make sure that next time I am in self-check out if, I have more than 15 items that I count to 15 and leave the other items on the floor for the employees to put back. They dont want me spending my money there? LOL. Fine. I will make sure to LIMIT the number of items I purchase (if I am ever forced to go there, which I am actively trying not to), and purchase the rest somewhere else! Your loss!!I hope Safeway goes out of business. Ridiculous prices. Obnoxious employees. You will be treated like garbage as a customer there.

2024-05-27 20:23:22Special thank you to Gabriella, an assistant store manager who was left in charge of the store May 18, 2024. We placed a large deli 9 tray order online and received a confirmation. When we arrived to pick it up, the deli department had no knowledge. The trays were to be the food for the funeral reception for my mother-in-law and we were on our way to the service when we were picking it up. Needless to say, my husband was VERY upset by the mistake by Safeway.Gabriella showed up at the funeral reception with 5 platters of food. She had made every effort to make it right. We really appreciate her attempts to right the wrong.Thank you Gabriella.

2024-03-17 22:18:25This store is usually pretty clean and well maintained, however attempting to get anything from the deli or a sandwich made is usually impossible. For the second time in the past couple weeks, I waited with no line and couldn’t get any help. I watched multiple people leave because there were tired of waiting.

2023-10-17 03:55:45Friendly, helpful staff, selection is ok. Deli Meat counter needs more personnel and organization. Need to fix your upstairs sign, local vandals had their way with it.

2024-01-21 23:52:44This store has most of what I needed on my shopping list, except for one thing. And also Matt in the 15 or less checkout was not very friendly or helpful for that matter. Maybe he was having a bad day, which I understand happens to everyone. Still have to put your best face forward though.

2024-06-22 17:57:42We visited to buy a few things and found them all. Its a very large, clean, well-organized Safeway, and the staff was friendly.

2019-03-21 06:28:16Being across the street from Whole Foods Market, this Safeway is fanciest Safeway I have ever shopped at. Their fresh meat counter is the longest one I have ever seen at a Safeway. Huge floral area with lots of floral options and balloons to choose from.#kidfriendly and #accessibilityfriendly. Race car shopping carts and motorized shopping carts at the front entrance. Unisex Handicapped Restrooms have diaper changing tables. Large dining area kinda has a Starbucks with cushy chairs to sit (free WiFi in the building).Wine selection and Bulk Foods Area can easily compete with Whole Foods Market across the street.I do like the friendly outside sign by the shopping carts as a reminder - “did you remember to bring your reusable shopping bag?” (Nice Touch). Most of the free parking is on top of the building.

2024-04-26 18:50:09The store is stocked well. The store is clean. The people at the meat counter are very friendly and helpful. The deli department could learn how to treat customers from them.
