We can have all household items, groceries l, vegetables, fruits, meat, cooked food, bakery items in one place with good quality, members can get more discounts than non members, pharmacy also available with limited time, mostly open till midnight...

Right now, this is my favorite Safeway. They have excellent produce and flowers. The florist is very good as you can see from the choices in my pictures. Other than that, its just another Safeway. As I wrotevthat I wandered into the meat department... 30$/lb ribeye that is 3in thick and pork chops the same. Come on Safeway.... were human!!!!! -1

I moved to Sunnyvale yesterday. First time at this Safeway and I Absoulutely loved it. The only thing that I was concerned about is the checker who checked me out could not understand what I was telling him. That was really frustrating.

Closest handicap parking at a Safeway so far.Wide, well-lit aisles, accessible & easily navigable, & a spotless restroom.Clear signs at the road before the entrances to the parking lot made this Safeway easy to find & get to.Even the parking lot was well planned with lanes actually made wide enough to back out of parking spaces.Also the first Safeway Ive found to have BOTH Raspberry AND Lemon filled donuts! (My daughters & my favorites, respectively.)

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Like someone said earlier, a hidden gem!!!! It doesn’t look like much compared to other Safeway’s, but that’s not true! I don’t leave many reviews and when I do, I don’t post pictures to go along with it, but I just had to share!! This is the best someone has bagged my groceries in a long, long time,…if ever!! I had to take photos! He was also very polite and considerate. I don’t know his name but I went in on Aug 14th at about 7pm. The store is also very clean and great selection!!!

A functional Safeway, with a Starbucks, mini deli, florist, butcher, bakery and pharmacy. No Wells Fargo anymore. Not always well-stocked, though it often has what the Safeway a mile away to the west (on El Camino at Sunnyvale Rd) doesnt have, and vice versa.The automatic checkouts are shut down by 10 pm every night (dont cut it close; they arent generous). At the same, time there are only 1 or max 2 checkout lines open. So late night shopping will take you just as long (if not longer) than mid-day shopping (amazing how many people shop after 9pm).Parking lot has lots of spaces but the lanes feel narrow.

Their florist department is a joke for custom order. Booked a bouquet. Lorena promised to give us a call should they change flower types but never did. Came to pickup but no one was there,found a vase on display with flowers not what I specified but with the same price in my told budget, then to my dismay, found the flowers (lilies) that I wanted when ordering, plentifully sold in pack in the shop but none in the supposedly custom-ordered vase. Not even sure if that was our order as no name was written on it. What kind of custom order is that if you just want to give whatever you want instead of what a customer wants? What kind of pick up is that if you dont even show up to arrange it? And what kind of communication is that when you choose not to communicate?Of course I didnt accept it. Thanks for saving me money as I walked away and got something I wanted and cheaper.Very poor communication. Very disrespectful and unreliable customer service. Definitely first and last time.

Solid 3.5 stars. Without an aldis or super Walmart to compete against, their prices are somewhat high. If you are a Safeway Member, there can be significant savings if you are selective. No publix around here either so their selection, layout, and overall experience is quite static. Open late ( maybe 24hr?) which is convenient. The self checkout lanes were closed though.

Pharmacy Online appointments not reliable.. there is no sync with the vaccination stock..“please call in advance for checking the vaccination availability to save your time “Appointment was available and booked for specific vaccine..when visited the store.. first they appeared not happy to attain the vaccination appointment at 6 pm. In this case they should not show appointment available at 6 pm.Then, I was asked if I can take vaccination of another company.. I couldn’t understand why she was saying that.Then suddenly she said yes.. after checking something in fridge I was shown a ziplock bag showing expiry date of 5days ago..I reported to manager . He was very casual saying that store and pharmacy work differently but he will report to his boss…Not sure how long it is going to take to get all the stats updated..Till then please call in advance for checking the vaccination availability to save your time

Im not too thrilled with this Safeway location. Its impossible to find a basket. The store is medium sized so some selection is lacking. The checkout lines move more slowly than other locations. And theres no cart returns in the parking lot.

The Starbucks inside this Safeway is absolute garbage. 2 straight days in a row I’ve had issues with this Starbucks. I come in wait in line finally get to the register and the guy tells me sorry we’re closing even though their hours are until 7pm and it was about 3:30pm. If he had said it straight from the start when I walked up it wouldn’t be an issue but to have me wait in line just for you to tell me your closing early for no reason after I’ve already been in line. The second day I come in about 5:30pm wait in line again get to the register and the same person tells me “sorry I’ll be back in like 10 minutes”. This kid has the worst customer service I have seen at a Starbucks before. The Safeway itself is quite nice but gets busy but this Starbucks inside the store is just an awful. If any of the girls are working your drink will be right out but the guy who works there is terrible.

This Safeway is always great. Its clean and organized, staff is very friendly, and theres plenty of self checkout stations so you can be in and out. It has a little Starbucks kiosk inside too, so you can get your Starbucks fix while you shop. I highly recommend this Safeway.

The fruit at this Safeway is always sad looking and the produce section is laid out weird with all of the berries being in the refrigerated open top cases near the door and the rest past the floral department.Was told my Arizona drivers license was invalid after the cashier swiped it (she said their registers dont support barcode scanning) and had I not had my spouse with me, I wouldnt have been able to walk out with one of the main reasons for my visit. I had just used my license less than two hours before at Target and had zero issues.

Clearly marked on one item than buy 3 and pay $1.99 each. When scanned to pay it was $4.99 each. Contacted customer service, a young guy, he asked his manager. Manager said this is for other item of same category (shelf in another Aisle). She said signs are put by Vendors and store management isn’t responsible for their mistakes.Just an unexpected and unpleasant answer from a Store manager.

Safeway always stocks their shelves well, giving patrons lots of choices. I use their deli, too.I rarely find any items that are past their use by date. Im picky about my meat and fresh veggies, simply never disappointed in their foods. Customer Service always good, too. Maybe a little pricier, but quality always!

Clean and all, but 2 of my visits were assited by a (same) grumpy self-checkout employee.The self-checkout machines are (I believe) old and moody, they doesnt detect the scanned items very good. Yet the employee I mentioned above, on both of my visits, sounds like blaming me for incorrectly put the scanned items.Ive been so carefully using self-checkout machines on any convenience stores, but for these particular visits I feel being pointed-out for faulty machines.

Big store with lots of variety, but not well stocked with everything in the current virus crisis. Prices above average, but Club Card savings can help quite a bit. Produce is way overpriced. Store brand Signature Select items are very good quality and reasonably priced compared to national brands.

I love the sales specials at Safeway grocery store like the $5.00 for a 8lbs bag of Florida Oranges, the $5.00 Fridays for certain cuts of Beef,Pork chops, $5 for a dozen donuts,the $5.00 bag of Brussels sprouts,$5 for 5lbs bag of lemons these are great value for your money !!

People are real nice, but Ive gotten so many things that I only noticed were expired when I went to use them! During a pandemic; I cant just up and leave for the store with my kids whenever this happens. TONS of baby food that was almost a year old, a formula, and now a yogurt that expired 20 days ago. Obviously Im going to be more vigilant with dates, but this is ridiculous. My kids almost ingested that stuff.

Deli department in this Safeway is short handed. Fried Chicken is quite expensive, $8.99 for 8 pieces. Combo is a bad deal with small portion. Salad does not look appetizing. We had to chase someone to ask for help. The service is slow. The highlight of my shopping is buying a turkey at $7.99 after spending $25 in purchase. The flu shot coupon gives an additional 10% off. Not a bad deal. Overall an OK experience.

If you shop evenings late evenings be prepared for an obstacle course. There are always tons of boxes on the floor as inventory is being restocked. Store is always clean and employees are great so maneuvering around boxes isnt really that bad for me.

Super friendly staff. Theyre sometimes out of common items, like whole milk. The store layout is confusing so often items are not grouped logically on store shelves. Open 24 hours! This is a great plus if you like shopping during off peak hours. They have a decent floral selection, though they cant beat Whole Foods prices. This outlet is in Hacienda Shopping Center, a strip mall style location, with plenty of parking outside.

A generic supermarket. But the service is substantially poorer than the other fastest just down the street close to me mathilda. Checking out after 10 pm is a pain because they only have one line open. The two times I was there after 10 I had to wait after 6+ guests. I almost made it to the self checkout lane but was told they were closing then after I stood in line for more than 2 minutes. This to me was poor service.

Generally what you expect from a Safeway, except there are often too few checkout clerks and there is almost never anyone at the customer service desk.I waited at customer service for 5-10 minutes and then asked two different employees to find someone to help. Nobody wanted to take responsibility and ultimately I was finally told the person who was supposed to help customers was on break, and that nobody could help. A waste of 10 minutes to accomplish nothing.

I have been going to this store for years, but that ends immediately. This store gets progressively worse. Lines are always long, some checkers are extremely slow and the managers are hardly what one envisions as managers. Managers who allow long lines on a consistent and ongoing basis needs to go back to basic management. Also, I saw an employee at this Safeway get into a screaming match with a customer.

Always have to wait ages at the fish counter. Never anyone there and no easy way to get workers attention. Recently was overcharged for Salmon, and took about 20 minutes to convince them of there mistake and get a refund. No real apology either. Disappointed

What I had been buying most regularly, outside of beverages, was Safeway regular oatmeal raisin cookies. Unfortunately, Safeway has been continuingly lower their standards so that many cookies in a box of 36 (which used to be 50 for less money) have no or few, like one, raisins. Other Safeway products, like canned fruit, have similar issues. Its not just this store but all in the neighborhood.

Selection is what youd expect from Safeway. Staff is hit-or-miss. This used to be our go-to store, but Im thankful were closer to a Sprouts now.Items are expensive for the quality unless you scope out deals. Use the Just For You app for digital coupons. Sad to say that Safeway has consistently declined over the years. Literally 20 people in line, one register open. Checker could not read produce IDs. Youd think in this valley, where everyone shops late due to work hours, youd adjust your staffing to accommodate the hoards doing a months worth of grocery shopping...at 10pm. Not a bad store, though dated as is most everything in the Bay Area... property is too expensive for much more than maintenance upkeep. This store is slightly smaller than the other El Camino, Sunnyvale store.The deli sandwiches are good, though highly caloric, Safeway wont make the nutri info available... Maybe when Albertsons takes over we can petition to change that.Ill be sad to see the change in ownership. Ive shopped at Safeway since I was a little girl and worked at Vons in SoCal for 10 years (which was bought out by Safeway). Both of these stores were always superior to Albertsons.Back to the store review... The workers are mostly pleasant. The prices are decent with a Safeway card and they have some pretty good specials, especially on weekends. The produce is fresh for the most part, they could rotate their product a little better in both produce and dairy. I prefer the larger selection of the larger store, but this is a close second. Its where I shop for things I cant get at Trader Joes.

The worst store I have ever seen in USA. They sold me the product which is having expiry date a day prior to my purchasing. When I went back to the store for clarification, they have denied me to answer. I wrote it to corporate and no response. They are just playing with the health of the people. I just bough sandwich at the Deli this morning, I was standing there for a while and the guy did not even recognize me. I have to yell at him if someone could help me. Sorro came but seems like shes not really on her A game. I ordered Turkey bacon avocado and I want xtra Chipotle sauce on my sandwich but she said shes out of the Chipotle sauce. I was just disappointed for the service.

I’m One of like three customers in the whole store and nobody could help me all I wanted was some lunchmeat.... I stood there long enough to realize I wasn’t going to get it... Then I tried to ask the guy at the register and had a whole conversation with myself because he wouldn’t respond to anything I said? I guess they are anti-customer they don’t wanna talk to the customers or help the customers at all I’m not sure why everybody’s working but nobody can help anybody?
