2024-04-13 03:18:16What a great store! Everything was so clean and organized, and the selections were out of this world. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful it was like being back in Texas! (except for the prices, of course) the meat and seafood counter was clean and well organized. The food seemed very fresh. The two staff members cleaning the butcher shop area were doing a very thorough job and helped us make our selections promptly and with a great attitude! Alan (I think) at the counter was great. David at the checkstand was wonderful too! we will definitely make this our home store for the next 4 months while were in town...

2023-01-06 16:48:11I love going to Safeway, it is the only place I enjoy shopping for groceries at. They have so many healthy and delicious items here and the employees are very kind. 10/10 top favorite grocery store of all time. I’ve probably spend over $4000 shopping for groceries a year so far.

2024-05-16 17:28:24All fruit here is getting worse, dry mealy spongy Mellons, the last 30+ mangoes have been hard on the outside and brown mushy insides, plain rotten, apples are generally 3 to 5 years old, there covered with so.e type of wax and flash frozen, soft spongy apples bright on the outside brown and bad spots on the inside, And lastly the moment I crossed the threshold of the store I picked up 2 tails, I dont sample grapes in safeway or any other store because it is stealing to me. So these buffoons are so focused on me they didnt even notice the 2 drugies stuffing several hundred dollars worth of steaks into there backpacks, normally Id say something but the irony I couldnt help but chuckle. I actually left safeway after paying for everything I got with a smile. Ahh the little victorys in life!

2024-01-19 05:37:07Wonderful customer service but what I don’t understand is if the customer is paying for the bags at checkout why the checkers continuously want to stuff EVERYTHING into one bag and refuse to give me more bags. They are literally ripped before I can get out of the store.

2022-11-11 01:21:30Always enjoy coming to this store mainly because the staff in the deli department are always helpful and nice and very sociable. They are very knowledgeable about the types of meat and cheeses they have and will let you know what pairs well together. I’ve seen them interact with customers who have no clue what to buy or what kind of cut they need or how many pounds, ask them questions until they are almost certain of what the customer intended to buy that day. Great store and great staff. Always clean, always stocked and never a bad experience.

2023-02-21 16:09:38I have been shopping at this Safeway for over 20 years only because of its convenient location. In that time, it has seemingly emphasized hiring apathetic and aloof employees. There is only one employee that works the check stands that is consistently pleasant, efficient and friendly. Perhaps two more that are civil. Most of the cashiers are unfriendly, unmotivated and unenthusiastic. One is actually insolent to the point of rudeness. I have waited in a much longer line just to avoid certain cashiers. Additionally, and this isn’t unique to Safeway, I have never once been thanked for shopping there ( what the heck happened to thanking customers, anyway? ) only mumbled an indifferent “have a good day “ at the very most. And this is after bagging all of my own groceries. The layout of the store is cramped and made worse by the ubiquitous displays of sale items in the middle of the aisles, which makes them difficult to negotiate, especially when the store is crowded. Be great if they put a little effort into training their employees in the seemingly lost art of customer service, and perhaps concentrating more on satisfying their customers than boosting their profits.

2024-03-25 21:02:57This location is usually less crowded than other Safeways. Its clean and is located near other good shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its my favourite Safeway to shop at.

2023-07-17 03:40:21I purchased four things from the clearance area. Got up to the register and the cashier did not ring them up and take off my clearance. She said that nobody told her. She said that i had to tell her how to ring them up. Huh? She does not look at every product and thats not her job. What???. I also bought ice cream that had a digital coupon. And she did not take off that discount either. Was I supposed to tell her about that as well? Does she not know what is in the ad? Is that not her job either? Ive never had this experience from a cashier before... Has something changed? Maybe since COVID? I had to go get my money refunded at the customer service. She was nice and I did explain to her that Ive never had to tell a cashier how to ring products up. How is it my job to know how to cashier??.. I would not go back to the Safeway on Yulupa Ave. Santa Rosa Ca.

2023-02-28 04:13:31I have been shopping at this Safeway since 2007. I use to primarily shop at Whole Foods and then at Safeway on Yulupa. I mainly buy all organic produce, but I could only find certain organic fruits and vegetables at this Safeway.Since Safeway has made such improvements in the variety of organic produce, I now go to Safeway for most all of my produce!It is the best place in Sonoma county for freshness & a wide variety of choices.The layout in this store in the organic section is very inviting and well kept!!Thank you for making organic a priority in your market, we the shoppers appreciate it also!
