I have been shopping at the Safeway for many years and it definitely does the trick. I’m glad that they keep all of their food groups together, including the regular and organic options. The store is always very clean and well organized. I use the pharmacy there all the time, very friendly staff. I’ve use the restroom at the grocery store several times as well and it’s always clean and well-kept.

Came in to grab a few things late at night, wish they were open 24 hours but its like any other Safeway.Staff was friendly and funny. Id definitely come back.People complaining about the fruit not being cut properly or the Deli not having tasty food as if the pre-made food is fresh, is hilarious.

This place has always been pretty good. However, whoever cut the pineapple on or around 8/22/21 should be retrained on how to cut a pineapple. They must have never had pineapple in their life to understand how to cut it. They didn’t remove the core or the eyes. You should make them eat it so they know.

Just a 5 minute drive from my home, go here occasionally after midnight to get last minute groceries or snacks. Have no complaints, Safeway has all the items I need and the employers are always helpful if I do occasionally need assistance.

Had a pretty bad experience in the pharmacy section on 3/27/23 around 10:30am. Went to get free covid tests here as there was a sign out front saying free covid tests. Lady at the pharmacy asks for my insurance card and refused to give me any tests after I didnt have it on me. She said they dont take United anyway so dont bother coming back with the card. Had to buy them elsewhere, but this was illegal false advertising.

When shopping on a Saturday their butcher and deli was closed at 9:00 p.m. Sharp. Looked like a ghost town one or two cashiers working and nobody else to help if you needed assistance to find anything very disappointing.

Always clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. The meat department staff is always willing to help as well as produce. They always have a good seasonal section to browse. There is a Starbucks inside and my 6 year old loves it because they have the carts that look like cars with steering wheels.

The atmosphere of this store is pleasant. Their checkers are friendly and the rest of their employees are also friendly and helpful. Their prices though are on the high side and they can fluctuate too often on some items. They have good quality meats, and sales on a variety of items. Its in a shopping center with a Safeway gas station very close by, so its convenient if you need to gas up. It does have a problem occasionally with backed up check outlines at night that never seems to get solved, so maybe my rating is a little on the generous side.

Bought an angel food cake that they baked in a cardboard pan. Cardboard absorbed the moisture from the cake and made it difficult to cut and remove pieces also. Good to sell date of June 2. By May 29 it was hard enough to break a tooth. Had to throw it out.

I went into this location today to shop for groceries; this isnt my normal Safeway that I go to. The interactions that I had here with the workers was absolutely pleasant. I spoke to the meat handler and he even threw in a few jokes and we had a good laugh - Thanks Johnny! He was super helpful with understanding where to get specific meats in, too. I always have to call different Safeway locations to see if they have Catfish, but he let me know that they order it on a consistent basis - which my wife is going to love!Overall 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! The location was very clean and even the attendant at the self-checkout was engaging! This is my new home Safeway! 👍👍

Great selection of items. The only issue keeping it from bring a 5 star review is the deli/hot food area by the self checkout. There is a huge stand, that holds prepared foods and keeps them hot. It is just so big and claustrophobic and awkward to try to maneuver around it.

Store and selection is decent. Front end staff is lacking customer service skills though.Above is still true. Below is the newest.After 3years it hasn’t gotten any better. Pharmacy is a joke. I get a text asking if I want a refill 1/30 I reply yes on 1/30, 2/10 I get a text saying it’s ready we go today 2/12 to pick it up and are told it’s been filled since 1/30 and they’ve cancelled it already. SMH. Pharmacy said “oops must be a system glitch”. No accountability and no remorse of any kind.

Our local supermarket, recently visited and paid with $100. Received $60 in fake bills as change. Unknowingly used $20 as a tip at local restaurant we will have to visit and replace the $20. Used $20 at AMPM am they check the bills and let us know it was fake. We called this Safeway to alert them to be more careful about accepting fake bills, they seemed unconcerned, and said you can take the fake to the bank for a replacement. Besides being one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard, taking a bill checker into Safeway to verify they aren’t pushing off fake bills is extremely burdensome. An easier alternative is to shop at Somewhere else. We know it can’t be replaced, but something should be done to protect your customers.

The customer service was amazing! Everyone was super friendly for being midnight. However, when I got home, the lunch meat I had purchased had expired the day before and the romaine lettuce I purchased has an awful dirt taste even though I have washed it for times. Im usually not one to check dates but I definitely will for now on, considering I live an hour away from this Safeway.

Overall a good store. You do have to watch the non perishable stuff like can goods and salad dressings because they dont rotate. If I forget to check, I often buy one with a short time or out of date. All the folks at the various counters are very nice and helpful. They are rarely out of stock on items.

Update: New management have done a great job turning this store around. I can finally leave the store having found everything I need.Previous review:Now I know that nobody really reads reviews for grocery stores, but Im hoping the management will read this and wake up. This location has got to be the worst grocery store in the country. I can see things not being in stock once or twice, but for the last 4 months every single time I go into this store I walk out with only 50% of what I need. The produce goes bad within 24 hours, whoevers in charge of inventory is horrible at keeping shelves stocked, and they might as well start selling fasttrack for their 45 minute lines. They need one of those signs you see at amusement parks that says 45 minutes from this point when you enter a cash register line. Even though this store is right across the street from me, I actually go out of my way and go to Raleys and pay a little bit more but I at least I get much better produce and they always have what I need.

Store is clean, well stocked and organized with friendly workers. I have always found their produce to be top quality and they carry organic too. Their baked goods are very delicious and deli has lots of savory items to choose from. (They also make excellent breakfast burritos and sandwiches!) Regular prices arent as low as Walmart but buy on sale and prices are way better than Walmart, so plan your shopping trips accordingly and youll come out ahead and wont have all the hassle of shopping at Walmart or the club stores! Highly recommend!! :)

Worst customers service that Ive ever received. They couldnt express their irritation with customers any more clearly. The bagger was just leaning over the end of the counter, and rolling his eyes and being clear about his irritation that our presence interrupted their conversation (if they had self checkouts, then I definitely wouldnt have gone to that checkout isle.) I have never felt so uncomfortable anywhere, ever. I will definitely not be going back to this location. And they really shouldnt be scheduling only teenagers together at night. The store itself was nice, but the young checker girl should really get fired for being so hostile, rude and unpleasant.

Its Safeway. This one has a huge center section of aisles of worthless seasonal stuff. Self check out is only open at select hours, so expect to get herded from one end of the store to the other for no apparent reason at 6:00 a.m. except to be treated like a thief. Unorganized and not clearly marked grocery items, unless your buying worthless seasonal junk. Very good wine selection though, and well priced. Everything else seems to be a $1 more than Bel-air or Raleys, e.g. milk +$1, Stoked coffee +$1, and jelly-bellies +$1, just to name a few.

Read the reviews on yelp and here. Dirty store, long lines, young inattentive rude staff and overpriced. Had a terrible experience just the other day where a line of 10 people was waiting while young cashier chatted it up about Apples. Looking at the customers Apples, explaining how this season such and such Apples are coming in nicely, all the while stopping work while the queue builds. Finally get to the front of the line and realize I forgot my wallet. I explain I was parked in the stall right next to the door and would be back and SPRINT out the store obviously not oblivious to the hold up it could cause. Sure enough, I literally come back 45 seconds later wallet in hand and the cashier has already skipped me in queue. Ok I get it for the other patrons you want to move the line along, except this cashier had the biggest grin on his face and told me, if youd like to lodge a complaint my manager is right there. The managers response?Uh oh what did you do now? Well the manager was opening up another checkstand to finally have 2 open during the busiest part of the day when people are getting off of work and stopping by the store for dinner so I thought nothing of it until he took the people from the back of the long queue I had already been waiting in. So I left my cart full of half checked groceries sitting in the line and walked out the store. Eventhough thia store is in my neighborhood I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Trust me save your time and sanity and drive the extra 5 minutes down to Raleys by Crocker Ranch. Similar pricing, BUT after this debacle I went down to Raleys and was immediately greeted by a friendly produce employee upon entering the store and was asked 3 times while shopping how my experience was and if I needed help just by passing employees. A completely different shopping experience. I was actually in out and back home longer than it took me to shop and wait in line at Safeway then effectively denied prompt service. So to anyone who has had a bad experience here stop giving them your business and drive to one of the other grocery stores not more than 10 minutes from this location. You will be thankful when you realize how easy grocery shopping can be.

I appreciate that this Safeway is close to my house and has a fuel station as well. With my Safeway card and using my debit card, I am able to get some of the cheapest fuel around. As I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Safeway, for every $100 I spend in groceries, I get $0.10 off per gallon on the next fill-up. Not only do they have gasoline, but also cheap diesel fuel. I have a diesel pickup truck, so its 0.25 mile distance from my house is pretty nice.

Not a great visit this time around. The checker first forgot to add my propane tank swap after the transaction was finished, so we had to redo that. Then after I left while driving down Blue oaks, I decided to look at my receipt and I got charged 2 bottles of vodka even though I only bought one, so I had to turn around and go deal with that.

I just bought the shortbread bread cookies with the chocolate drop frosting, they are usually my favorite but when I got them home I noticed that they were in a much smaller container about half the size than they usually are. They were so jammed in there that there was almost no frosting on them at all and they tasted stale 😪 i was really looking forward to them but they are just bad. I hope that they try harder next time and make them how they used to.

This is the closest Safeway but it has an occasional stock problem. Todays example is no single A battery ( individual or packaged set). I wanted to grab a few balloons last night so I Went to customer service to get help in the floral/balloon area since the sign placed in floral said to do so and was told everyone from that dept went home. She then said shed page someone to help me. I waited about 10 minutes and nothing. I then gave up and walked to pay for flowers and someone finally showed up. I said I wanted 3 balloons and he said he would go ask someone else for help. He came back and said sorry the tank isnt working or else it would of turned on. COVID-19 Update: Additionally facemasks seem to be optional for employees, plus an inordinate of Karens shop without masks here.I only come here because it is convenient, I will usually drive the 1.2 miles past Safeway to shop elsewhere. Parking lot is poorly designed, store aisles are excessively cramped, and most items are a $1 or more expensive, and thats with their card. The employees though, are friendly and helpful.

I was hoping to share photos. So this weekend Safeway had T-bone steaks on sale. With meat prices the way they have been recently, I was excited to see the sale price. My family and I typically have a nice Sunday evening meal and with the way life has been the meals mean more and more. So I opened the pack of 3 T-bone steaks and was shocked to see that the butcher department had covered up the filet side for a reason- THERE WAS NO FILET. How disappointing to. The only thing good about this Safeway is its proximity to my house since there is no other grocery outlet serving the W Blue Oaks community. Very pricy. Good for emergency shopping only. Otherwise, please drive a few miles to Walmart or WinCo.Cant bash them for everything. They have a gas station with reasonable prices. Shopping at the store earns you points that you can use towards gas discounts. They have a nice bakery section with amazing bagels freshly made everyday. My goto place for CA lottery!

I have always been a fan of my local Safeway...from the morning donuts, Starbucks Rockstar E drinks to afternoon deli sandwich onto gormet dinner items with wine, whiskey or beers to even the might night craving or emergency medicine or item for the child, the staff is 98% friendly and efficient and the location (until recently) has always been open and in stock with what I want/need!!!

I am a frequent shopper at this particular Safeway and almost always have a perfect experience. I have been shopping there because it is right across the street from my house, and the convenience of it being 24hrs. Most cashiers know me and my fiancé, and know what we like..they always give 100% customer service.YESTERDAY my fiancé went to get ingredients for a new recipe we were trying out and he asked a cashier to hold his cart. He goes outside to make sure he got everything on his checklist (called me), came back inside because they sounded off the alarm accusing him of stealing. one of the baggers was talking about him when he walked in saying he was really stealing not buying anything. HE PAID AND LEFT. WE USUALLY SHOP HERE EVERY DAY. I UNDERSTAND THEFT IS VERY HIGH BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS!SINCERALLY A FORMER SAFEWAY SHOPPER.
