So sick of this APP that doesnt work half the time, tried scanning for digital and its hit or miss, this is the second time I had to remove an item at check out. I showed them how it wouldnt scan amd they shrugged. Of course no one was at the service desk, AS usual.Big Johns from now on!

!!DONT BUY!!The store itself is always great, the staff and the selection. The 2 star rating is solely for the safeway signature brand. I love the idea of the Mix+Match program. But please dont serve us freezer burned products at a discounted price. No thanks. Ive tried these 3 times. Always the same.

Awesome, and part of the Wilson family. Sadly, their main buildings burned down in the 2019 fire. But their barn stood strong, and tastings go on. And what great tastings they are! Definitely worth visiting, and we bought a couple of bottles.

Love my local Safeway. Always clean and a friendly staff. I have gone from 5 stars to 3. The curbside pick up is a joke. I order salsa and they replaced it with a turkey cheese veggie tray. What is that? I get salted butter they replace it with unsalted butter. I ordered chicken. They replace it with beef. Whoever does the shopping needs a good training.

I like this safeway, staff is always friendly, manager is always out doing something.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the disappointment I feel 10 out 10 when I go in for options in the sushi department/deli. Only very basic options are offered here. No dumplings, bowls, or spring rolls.

Used to go here all the time as a kid when i lived here. As i grew up, i have explored many Safeways and Vons over California. Having visted this Safeway quite a few times again, it hasnt changed much in the sense it is still a top notch Safeway versus whats out there. Obviously, it has to be its Healdsburg. Great store.

This used to be my go to store, but the store has changed. I find it messy, unstocked, registers go down or are really slow and most of the staff are not friendly or helpful. Its like an inconvenience to get service at the customer service desk. My last visit in on midmorning Monday was bagging my groceries and went to pay but the register was having issues and as the clerk was trying to talk to me a front end manager came up and started talking to the clerk about her taking a training. So unprofessional and lacks customer service. Make your managers do better.

It seems this stores layout is the exact opposite of every other Safeway Ive been in. Even the doors are on the opposite side. Aside from that, its a Safeway. The 15 item line is rarely open when you need it. They rely too heavily on self check-out, which sucks when you just want a six pack of beer. The employees are nice.

I love shopping at Safeway, I always find what I need and know where to find it. They constantly change the store but I enjoy it because it gives a refreshing look! However, I do miss this one cashier oscar who was always helpful! he was always an enthusiastic person and went above and beyond for me when I needed help! I hope he wasnt fired but I have to give a solid three.

The best run, most diversely stocked Safeway one can imagine. You can try many new-to-you flavors of old favorites and discover many new foods, things to eat. Gluten free? Paleo? Vegan? Bacon lover? Sustainably harvested seafood and local organic veggies only? They have it all, with good prices on weekly specials with Safeway club membership. Clean, beautiful flagship-quality supermarket.

Was most impressed with my checker, the receipt said his name was Clayton. The older man in front of me was short on funds under two bucks, Clayton said dont worry about it sir I got you covered and started to dig in his pocket, I handed him a bunch of change to cover. Clayton and I chatted about how hard the week has been, he missed days at work had little to give, but was willing to give what he had to help, you have a great employee.

This store was well stocked, minus one item I was looking for which was limited to 2 per customer and was O.O.S. Their customer service was prompt, and courteous when asking if they still had fresh fish for sale (it was 9:30pm and they did not, understandably), and the cashier was polite and professional. I was hungry and as I walked in I could see plenty of hot foods choose from chicken soup clam chowder baked chicken breakfast burritos any sandwich the way you like it with a soda and chips and other fresh food to eat now. That was what I saw as I entered the store I didnt have time to see the rest of the store because I had to leave for my appointment.

The deli salads look and taste like they have sat out to ling and are in there point of turning. The meats and cheeses in the sandwich counter are limp and very obviously not stored at temperature and the bread is stale.

First venture in Healdsburg. Came back late from the coast and had to pick food and water from Safeway since restaurants are near closing or closed. Very disappointed at the lady by the deli section who’s nonchalant and abrupt. We accidentally left our paid bottle of water and not one of the 3 people at the counter reminded or bothered to tell us. My very first negative experience at a Safeway.

Once I bought a Thanksgiving turkey here... its wing was missing and wasnt feeling good abt serving it up as I was worried abt how its life ended... they delivered a spiral ham on thanksgiving morning ( free of charge ) to me the next town over...left a great impression on Safeways commitment to customer service. Service is awful at every Safeway Ive been to including Willits, Ukiah, Healdsburg, Rohnert Park and Petaluma. Assaulted inside the Rohnert park store by a man upset over a shopping cart. At Petaluma an employee couldnt be bothered to get something for me off of a high shelf. Were I 20 years younger I wouldve just climbed up and reached it. I was thirsty and Arizona mango was on sale, can you blame me?

Store is not arranged very well for easy flow through aisles. Refrigeration equipment is broken. Shelves empty of popular items by end of day, on a consistent basis. Employees are unhappy with corporate changes, reduction in hours scheduled. I do not blame them. Unfotunately, their unhappiness shows as customer service is very low. They simply dont care. This store is extremely busy, all day long. Never enough cashiers. Long lines. Prices are exhorbinant, for everything. Way more than other Safeways. The only one stop chain store north of Santa Rosa to Ukiah. This store changed once Albertons took over. Not for the better.

The Healdsburg Safeway has nosedived into being a very poorly run store. To list the many faults would take forever. Ive been shopping there for nearly 30 years....and in recent years, its just gotten horrible. One word of advice- ALWAYS check dates on anything perishable, even frozen food. They tend to keep expired products in stock and I cant tell you how much frozen food Ive thrown out because it was bad, freezer burned or had been thawed and refrozen. Their produce is almost always sub par and be very wary of most of whats in the deli. Ive started shopping at the Windsor Safeway, as it seems to be run much more professionally. If money is no object. Shop at Healdsburg - Big Johns instead. Its unfortunate for us local folks because its inconvenient to have to leave Hbg to do basic food shopping.

Every time I shop I am more disappointed. They have things for sale and on sale that dont even have in stock. They take away the Brand store used to buying replace them with others and then take those away I dont get it. Its becoming more more expensive Im starting to think I may go to Windsor and Santa Rosa to do my shopping thats pathetic. Disappointing. We used to be proud of how different and upscale our Safeway was compared to others. The meat/deli department is exclusively Boars Head= fewer options. You can forget about calabrese sausage. They are often under staffed so prepare for a line. Often there arent baskets at the door. Safeway is now pronunced Albertsons.
