One of my favorite stores in the area. This Safeway is exceptionally clean, orderly, and always has what you need in stock. Employees are nice and helpful when help is needed. Pharmacy, bakery, sandwich shop, coinstar, and flower shop along more on site. Gas across the parking lot.. is a bit more pricey than other Safeways in the area fyi

The ladies in the bakery did an astounding job on a cake for my daughters 21st birthday. They did everything I asked for, heart shape, frosting perfect & with short notice! I showed a picture to the lady in the bakery & she exceeded my expectations! My daughter Loved it. They were so friendly & nice. I highly recommend them. I will definitely be back.

This Safeway use to be good. But they have really gone down hill with their customer service. Everyone seems to be clueless. Are of near zero help. Also the employee by the name of Vivian is incredible rude. I figure the first few interactions with her that maybe she’s just having a bad day but, after 6 times she’s always this way. I live local so stop by often. But I’m just going to start driving to another store to have a better shopping experience.

Huge store, no bargains, but usually well-stocked with lots of product choices. Their produce and meat selections are SO much better than Raleys! Outstanding pharmacy too. Finding Safeway employees in the aisles for questions is quite rare (last accomplished pre-covid!) but once found, they are helpful.

My visit here is always great the store always looks immaculate, the sushi is the best especially when you can get it right after theyve made it. Today my only issue was when I got one of your Deli or Boars Head sandwiches made Brittany made it for me and Im not sure not trying to judge or be rude but she seems like she might not of been feeling well or some other issue going on because she was very slow and zero on the cheerfulness like Glad you decided to come here instead of Subway type..The sandwich was ok, the avocado put on the sandwich was not a normal green looked over cool and close to room temp and definitely not like the displayed photo.Overall I did enjoy the visit and my lunch decision was good Thank you for the great options and a very clean store to do my shopping in Much Appreciated!

Cashier at self service was very helpful. Sadly the pre-made hot wings from the deli were so dry that the flavor was not even really flavor anymore. 😪 I wont be purchasing them again. Other than that great sale prices.

Theyre trying at this spot. Its a good store in a horrible lot. The staff is kind, we colored some holiday pictures and got 10$ in gift cards for participating (5$ store credit per entry)Its cool the kids get thier work showcased and the ability to buy something, or co tribute to the cause, or whatever 😃.Noticed recently they are putting streetnames over the aisles which is a bowl idea, kinda fun. Now that I 🤔 I wonder which street they named the booze aisle....

I love the deals they have all the time and especially the gas rewards when you use your Safeway card. They have friendly staff that treat you like family. Everyone is nice from the managers down to the courtesy clerks. Which will still take your groceries to your car and load your car for you. Something I dont see that often anymore at a lot of other grocery stores. The produce and meats are always good and the store is always very clean. My only complaint would be that its freezing in the store all the time. But I know its for food safety reasons so understand the reasons.

Better selection than Raleys on Natomas and Blue Ravine. I like that if I have a question or need some help all of the employees, from the floor sweepers to the store manager, stop everything they are doing and help you, with a smile. They seem to foretell what people are buying better than Raleys. They keep their shelves full rather than empty.. You should try Safeway.

Well located and lots of parking. The store is clean, very well stocked and offers a lot of choice in all areas. The produce area is great, and I love that they sell fresh flowers as well. Prices are in line with similar stores in the area. They are an Amazon Locker, offer in-store Starbucks, bakery and hot food for takeout.

Iv shopped many Safeways. Im sure most locals know about this store. Iv passed it often on my way home and decided to check it out. The store itself Is a little hidden from view when traveling Green Valley Road. So from the road you basically only see the Safeway sign and part of their gas station. Theres ample parking and a variety of other businesses.The store itself was very well stocked. I was impressed with this being its somewhat on the outskirts of growing communitys. The store was nice and I felt quite comfortable. And of course the staff were extremely friendly. Just as I would expect in a small community. One complaint that has nothing to do with the store itself or its employees. That is when using the parking lot exit near the gas station you can only turn right. A little inconvenient for me as I would like to go left without having to make a U turn at the stop light. But its worth it. So I will continue to shop here now that Iv checked it out.😉

Good selection of products, employees seem personable, but the aisles are way too narrow. Its difficult to pass by other shoppers if they are in the same aisle. Layout is a little odd too, things like the dairy case arent where Id normally expect them to be.

Stopped to get a couple of items in a hurry and it was my first visit to this Safeway. Store is welcoming but didnt appreciate the lady there to promote a product being placed so nobody walking in that door can avoid het approach. She stopped me to talk about her product but I didnt really have the extra time nor did I want to be rude and walk away so I felt trapped until I got a chance to say thank you & leave. Prices here were pretty good compared to other local stores. But Ive never had so many people (other shoppers) seem to look down their nose or shoot snooty looks at me in one place.

Nobody is wearing masks in this store. Maybe one person but that mask was below his nose. And Im talking about employees here, not to mention patrons. The vibe is anti-masking. I realize we are open. I also know we have a Delta variant. And masking is still required for people who are not vaccinated. And the last I heard unless all employees are vaccinated employees are required to wear masks per OSHA. I saw one patron wearing a mask besides myself.I also have had my fruit damaged the last two visits particularly peaches. I didnt pick up bruised damaged peaches. Theyre getting damaged being packed/bagged by the employee

Its hit and miss with this location. Good for being clean and cashiers are off and on with being good and nice. Also depends what time you prefer to go here.I noticed signs outside stating customers must wear a mask due to the whole covid-19. I however noticed their vendors that stock the shelves are hit and miss with wearing the masks. I even saw a guy stocking shelves in the yogurt section with no mask, lol.When it comes to the parking lot, its clean and well maintained. I however see allot of the same people using it as a park and ride as they dont want to pay the day use fees at the lake.

Typical Safeway. I enjoy the layout of this store. Employees are usually helpful and friendly. I dislike how sometimes French bread ends up in Sourdough sleeves. This location has an Asian hot food section, sushi, sandwiches, and normal hot food. They also have a Starbucks in the store but took out jamba juice. They have an adequate amount of vegan food.

This Safeway is perfectly fine and normal as long as your a typical white person. Ive gone by myself and felt like I fit in. A few times Ive gone with my partner, who is black, and we are always stared at by patrons and employees. Weve never been followed by workers (thank god!), but the amount of attention that is focused on us is unnevering regardless.

Well its Folsom so its a nice store clean well-staffed yet somehow my sandwich from the deli was twice the price that I pay at other Safeways I dont know if it is because its Folsom but the lady that made it was very efficient about making a sandwich Ive never seen anybody build one the way she did stacking my veggies in a pile and making sure it was right while the rest toasted so that when it was done she could just put it together quickly very efficient so thanks for the fast service and friendly service

I shop at EDH Safeway all the time. Love this store, but the last 2 times in the Bakery Dept. there have been flies in the donut/pastry case. Today there were flies and what looked like knats or fruit flies.I told my check out Clerk @ #1 quick check but Mr. Lack of personality didnt seem to care. So todays rating is a one for the bakery dept.

This Safeway claims to be open 24 hours a day but theyre really closed from either 1 to 2 a.m. or 2 to 3 a.m. depending on how they feel. The night crew manager is useless, if you need to go to a Safeway at night drive 10 minutes up the hill to the Cameron Park one.

Really, it says 24 hours and when I drive a good 15 min to this location its closed....I decided to call and someone told me they are closed from 1am-4am...it doesnt mention this on google or your door. Very annoyed and Ive never had this happen at any other location. Not to mention I called the Prairie city location and their answer was, we are 24 hours ya...exactly! There was a weirdness about them when it came to dealing with customers; either they were inebriated or under some influence! There is always something going on in the parking lot! Have a feeling of being too crowded with groceries Raleys has lots of space in the aisles and no wait at checkouts feels like you can breathe in there its Safeway you feel stifled

I went there at 3:30am, September 9,2017 and its supposed to be a 24 hour Safeway store here in El Dorado Hills but the door was locked! Dont post yourself as 24 hour open when 6 of us customers are baffled outside that your store is locked. So, some of us drove all the way to Folsom. Who manages this place? Its unacceptable.

The Safeway in Cameron Park has some creepy people that hang out in the parking lot and I dont see that Safeway has employed some sort of security guard to keep the creepers away from you as you load your groceries
