Great store, plenty of places to park, lots of adjacent useful businesses. Adequate bathroom. Good place to take a dump. They can make an adequate breakfast burrito when theyre not screwing around. Lots of chips and soda pops and candy bars and heads of lettuce. Probably not the kind of place I would go on a date but then again thats just me. Gas station is around the corner. Mini Mart plus a bathroom at the gas station. Adjacent to the community full of old people. Across the tracks from the single family homes of Lincoln. You can get some pretty good Donuts here if you like frosting.

Having no services in Plumas Lake except gas station traveling to shop is a Beeech!!! So the trip to Lincoln is pretty easy. And this safeway is in a very nice location. Very clean and the employees are very helpful. The drive was less than 30 min. Many other services in this shopping center.

If it’s on sale -it’s EXPIRED GOODS! 90% of items I get from Safeway (usually via Instacart for I work 12 hour days) is expired!! Or their fruit is moldy because they keepIt on nasty moist astroturf. But seriously- check expiration dates on EVERYTHING! Mid August and these Nerd ropes were 10 for $10….expired in July.

Unfortunately this store is the nexus point for a large population of retired senior citizens. I say Unfortunately because a large percentage of them are oblivious to how they drive, inattentive when walking directly in front of moving vehicles and seem to have significant difficulty making decisions when pulling into or out the parking lot or individual parking spaces. Apparently many own vehicles with non-functional turn signals or review mirrors.Just be aware of this when visiting this store.

Watch out for new check-out clerks. I was charged for three 12-packs of beer without member savings by Kitlaly when I brought two 12-packs and entered my member phone number. Always well stocked and clean One problem with no minute tapioca often in sale ad never at either location I shop. Also had an issue with expired and soon to be expired Pepsi products. Management immediately removed the product. Have to watch the registers as Ive had to return to get money owed for items that rang up wrong. 3 times in a 4 week period totaling $24.00+. Always feel pressured unloading cart and trying to watch everything ring up and keeping in mind the customers in line behind you.... prices are outrageously stupid can only shop here if I have coupons... Prices are continually rising...not just at Safeway. Shame and karma to the money greedy... Auburn native 5th generation now now I really understand when people say they have to get out of California. Why? Because they can! Our governor no price gouging. Yeah right! I call it stealing! I never voice my opinion

This Safeway is easily one of the best in Northern California. I travel all over the state and have visited a Safeway in nearly every county. The store is easy to navigate, always looks clean, and has a great selection.The biggest pro is that they’re a 24-hour location, whereas the 3 Safeways closest to here all close from midnight to 5am.

The store is always well stocked and open 24 hours. Peak hours check out both self and assisted can take a long time but usually not the fault of the store. Slow or fast at the register the employees are always friendly. For a few quick items while in downtown this is my go to stop

I was @Lincoln Safeway today and this is what happened. I am in a hurry and went to first checkout which is supposed to be express line. The person in front of me did regular shopping with way over 15 items. The cashier was a young guy about to change to an older lady. Before he left, I asked him if this is an express line why dont you remind people this way, we keep things in order that he said It is not my job to yell at customers!!!? Then the other lady (new cashier) tried to make excuses. While this is going back and forth the customer lady said, I did not pay attention!! which could be true THE WORST OF THIS STORY WAS the new female cashiers answer OH WE DEAL WITH THOSE ALL THE TIME YOU ARE FINE!!!! This made me to leave the store without any purchase while the cashier yelling behind she was not the one did the wrong thing.I have been shopping at Safeway over 25 years and I though Safeway has great customer service all around however I was wrong. Lincoln Safeway is not at Safeway standards. Sad!

Not much to say about Safeways..... They are large and well stocked and generally very clean. This is my new local store since Ive moved. Of this particular visit I was looking for a canned item that I could not find. I asked one of the staff who directed me to an aisle and a location in the aisle for the product. I had been to that location but went back thinking I had missed it. The product simply was not there. As I was about to leave, the woman who I talked to appeared in the aisle with a can of the product I was looking for. She apologized for the misdirection saying that the product had been moved to an end cap for the holidays. Exceptional service in a busy store exceptional service in a busy store.

So its Christmas day 2022, and of course, no stores are open, which is awesome....except when you really need some items to hold you over.Well, Safeway was open and incredibly busy. I expected that. Nice store. Just doing a delivery. Went in and asked for help from the floral gentleman and got a curt answer and he was more rude than helpful. Then I had to go around behind the store, up a huge ramp, stood in line for a few minutes before getting to the door. The male employee was not in a good mood. He was slow, tossing kids around. Was not polite or friendly. They need people that are more respectful!

This is specifically about the Starbucks in the store. I ordered a mocha frappuccino the other day. After I few sips, I noticed a sour milk smell. I took a big sniff of the drink and the smell was definitely coming from it. It tasted fine so I think it was the whipped cream that went bad. I went into either Starbucks and asked for a new one and they were nice enough to make me one.TLDR The Starbucks in the store gave me a drink with whipped cream that had gone bad. Beware.

Went there to get lots of things for my cupboards, my Frigidaire, and my Dog. Wasnt paying attention to prices, gettin stuff I needed. I go to checkout and the total was not Good to me, then the cashier asked do you have a club card, no I dont,so I paid the bill (ouch). When I checked the receipt and it was the total if I had a club card WOW what a difference. Anyway if you go to Safeway better have a Club Card, OYA the store is clean,nice, comfortable place to shop.

Very inconsistent with product and make you buy there brands at times.They never have everything you need and wind up going somewhere else to finish your shopping. And be careful with purchasing you meat.Produce is always rotting before time, including potatoes celery carrots cabbages and milk expires quickly, pastries are all out sourced and comes in frozen then baked. As forget about buying any type of fish.

I have been shopping at this store for many years and fine there produce to be fresh and reasonably priced. Great choice of meats from the counter. Unfortunately, our community is growing so fast which adds more customers and the wait time in line is growing growing and growing. No fault of Safeway.

It was a nice grocery shopping trip. Not a lot of people in the store for a Sunday afternoon. The veggie guy was very nice. He answered my question about the peaches. The checker was also very nice and courteous as was the young man bagging my groceries. He asked if needed help out but I told him I was ok, and thanked him.

Our first time going into a Safeway grocery store, upon walking in it looks so nice and they have a huge selection of fresh flowers, baked goods and everything else as well. But I would not go out of my way to come to this Safeway location. Most of the employees just stared and so did the customers, it was a pretty uncomfortable shopping experience for us. We had a good encounter with one employee, the woman who was running the self check out stations, she took the time to get us a membership card so we could save some money and give us the military discount for Veterans Day. Some of the things are a bit pricey here, the bakery had me so excited with the vast amount of different things they offered, we ended up trying a few different things, most of them were just OK. They all looked great, but fell short for taste. We would probably come in here if we were in the area and had to run in for something, but definitely not going out of our way for Safeway.

I stopped shopping here altogether because they hired a bunch of new employees who do not have good customer service skills at ALL. On the simplest matters they are clueless about how to handle it in an appropriate way. You do not make your whole line wait and continue to grow while you argue with a customer about a price difference of $0.34. The customer is always right, remember that? Especially over $0.34. Please train your employees in customer service, if you are going to put them in a customer service position!

I placed my first online order to try out grocery delivery. My order never came in on the day it was supposed to. I called headquarters to see what happened. They called the store several times and couldnt get ahold of anyone and said they would call me back with more details. They had no clue why I never got my order. I never got a call or email back. Ive been charged already and still have no groceries. I called again and now Im getting my refund. I will never try their delivery again. Be aware if you want to try delivery.

Having gone through a pandemic you would think the Health and Safety Code would be the # 1 priority in a store where we buy our food. In the span of going to the bakery section and back I saw three people walking their PET dogs up and down the aisles. These dogs had clearly never been to basic obedience training let alone being specifically trained service dogs. Safeway employees made absolutely NO effort to keep these pets out of the store.NEVER AGAIN will I step one foot into the Lincoln CA Safeway store.

New employees are friendly, but baggers need some guidance from senior staff. Please dont put produce with unfrozen meats, or with items that contain strong smells or cleaning items. Eggs and breads always go on top (anything thats crushable). A good thought or rule of thumb is to bag in like items. Look at what is in an isle as you cruise them, then bag accordingly.

Got my vaccination at the pharmacy. The lady giving them was a complete tool, had me wait 40 minutes for a 2 second shot even though I was the only one there. While giving the shot she was rude and disrespectful. I do not recommend getting COVID 19 vaccines here.

Store is extremely clean and the vast majority of the staff is super friendly and helpful. I shop here every day and have for the last 4 years. Everyone knows me by name. That being said, over the last year or so, their meat department has gone downhill terribly. The two individuals primarily working back there are brash and rude and the meat is junk/poorly cut. I now buy my meat (which is about $50 to $75 a week) from Raleys. I tried to tell the store GM, but he just pushed me off. 4 stars overall, even with the problems.

Entered the store trying to look for salmon for the $5 Friday deal. I was unable to locate it and there was noone in sight to even ask about the deal. Then I noticed a gentlemen last minute walk out while I was in the back of the store near the meat section with a hand basket full of liquor and case of budweiser and all the workers were in the front near Starbucks where that exit/entrance was closed. Should have some type of security roaming around especially in the evenings when I had my son and wife with me.

They double charged my card for groceries. Told me to come back the next day to my card credited back the second charge. I have personally tried to get my money back from their so called customer service desk over 4 times and still no solution. I provided bank statements, my phone number, notes from the cashier for that transaction and still NOTHING! I spend thousands of dollars at this business a year and this is how they treat their customers. So please understand if they double charge your card, dont expect to get your hard earned money back. I love the chicken tenders at the deli, but what really aggravates me more than anything, is when the employee behind the counter reaches into the deli case to put my tenders in a bag, and they are not using the tongs that are provided inside the deli case!They just grab at the food with thier gloved hand. I mean, what else have you touched with your gloved hand before you have touched the food that I am to eat?There are some days that I am just astounded at how many different employees, new ones and old ones, who refuse to use the provided tongs.I have only got sick one time from my food being touched, and my eating it, without using damp paper towel to cover and steam heat it in a microwave.This is the only Safeway that I experience this everytime I get tenders, where they fail to use proper food handling methods.

I moved to Lincoln a short time ago this is a nice Safeway. I called to find out if they had a recycling center by phone today and A man answered and told me they had a location behind the Safeway store and gave me the hours daily etc. He did not need to do any of that . He was very nice. And the recycling person behind the store Arnold was very nice also.

Today was the first time Id ever used a DMV Kiosk and as it turns out there is one located in Safeway in Lincoln, CA which happened to be the closest one (from Colfax CA) with the ability to print a copy of your own driving record on the spot.Awesome way to help clear up some of DMVs wait times etc

I have given up on Safeway. The small aisles crammed with cardboard displays make it impossible to shop without being in someones way. The sales are made to confuse you and most times dont ring up correctly. Today I didnt get the $5.00 off $25.00 or more of my purchase and the dog treats rang up $3.00 higher than advertised. I was humiliated having to stand there seeing the rolling eyes of people behind me. While the poor cashier desperately tried to fix their errors yet again! I havent been shopping there for awhile now, but thought Id give them another chance. From now on my store is Winco!

I do not like people bringing in thier animals in the food store. These people need to show documentation for their animals being service animals.It should clearly state that on the front entrance doors. Other states are doing this and it needs tobe implimented here, too. Another thing is people putting thier animals in the carts where the food is put. I have seen the same woman twice bringing in her non-service animal. NOT OKAY!
