Manager accused me of stealing after she didnt want to cash in a super lotto ticket stating system was down when system was up and running never likes to cash in my tickets as she approached me she made the comment annoying to her coworker security guard prevents me from going to store Ive called in customer service to complain now if she wouldnt be so lazy and cashed in my ticket none of this would have happened and she describes me to others as the homeless gay guy ( Im not homeless lady!!!) apparently regular customers at Safeway are homeless

If you’re going to go to this store because it’s conveniently open late think twice about it. They always close 30-40 mins before their closing time. And the employe hangs out with the security guard at the door smoking telling people they are closed.

Its always pleasant when coming to Safeway on Constitution Blvd. The people and environment are easy and friendly, no long lines, well stocked usually and very convenient. Shopping center also has a variety of different businesses to accommodate most needs and less the half mile away from a significant park. It reminds me of shopping centers in Lake Tahoe. So when I come through this way, I feel a bit as if Ive left Salinas and stepped into an outskirt of Nevada and Truckee.

It’s a good store with a good selection of items. However when I went to use the restroom, it required a passcode that only the staff knew! Such an unnecessary thing to have on a public bathroom. Might as well put a passcode on the entrance! Besides that, the inside was absolutely disgusting! The floor was wet and gross probably with urine all over it. There was also tissue and other things on the floor. The stalls were also gross and not flushed! The napkin dispenser didn’t work so there was nothing to wipe your hand with. One of the worst restroom experiences I’ve ever had! The staff need to take the time to clean this disgusting bathroom! The rest of the store may have been fairly clean but, the bathroom being trashy made this visit not an enjoyable one.

Horrible experience every time I go to the deli. They never have enough people working there and when they do the other person is in the back looking at you like you are bothering them! Seriously! Either the store needs a new manager or the deli needs a new manager but this is the only Safeway where I have to deal with horrible service!

I had just 15 mins to enjoy a meal. Safeway should look at hiring people who care about and/or want to work. Stood in the deli line for 15 mins, watched what appeared to be a manager get served by one of 3 deli workers. One was busy helping make sadnwhiches, while another was busy in the back working on something, the other who was helping the manager walked away and began to label things in front of me while hollering to the lady in the back. I was even more bewildered by the fact that the manager walked past me and did nothing to assist. I’ll never shop at Safeway again.

I live within walking distance from this store, so I stop in often.They also have a fueling station, which is convenient. I would love to see the clerks in the station do a better job Cleaning and keeping the area clean and stocked (papertowels, actual water in the water bins),they seem to always be on their phonesStore is always clean and the employees are kind and very helpful.

Ive tried their customer service twice to send money, the first time I was left waiting for about 20 minutes before someone came up and asked what I needed, then said nobody was there with those specific codes. The second time I tried, it was beyond unprofessional how one employee spoke not only to me, but their coworkers. If you need any services Id suggest the N. Main location as Ive never had any issues.

Came in to rent a Rug Doctor. Didnt know what to expect, actually impressed. Machine works great. Not only cleaned my carpeted bedroom, my living room area rug, and my patio rug but due to the 24hr rental I also got to clean ALL of the rugs at my moms house total of at least 10.

Great store, friendly employees- only caution is if you are ordering from the bakery here.. they decided to literally change my sons name on his cake! I was refunded and given a $25 gift card but didn’t help- it was for his 1st birthday and not only did they change his name when it was CLEARLY printed on the order but they ALSO FORGOT TO MAKE HIS LITTLE PERSONAL CAKE THAT I PAID FOR! I was more than mad and will NEVER order here again.

There is an old guy with white hairs, he digs trash whole day, walk around with trash loaded shopping carts around the twin-creek plaza and often seen inside Safeway. He takes whatever he wants, even shopping bags, the management sees and knows him very well, he is a shoplifter but there is no action from Safeway. He always comes to self checkout, play with the monitor, takes all the bags, pays nothing and nicely walks out the store with no issues. Hey Safeway, do something ! customers dont like this see nothing, hear nothing, do nothing attitude of your management.

This Safeway does a good job. The employees are friendly and the store is always clean and organized. Their produce selection, and overall selection around the store is good. However their deli area is lacking severely, the ready made food and hot food area is not anything I would recommend. If the deli were better it would be 5 stars.

In the bakery took many phone calls from me as I live out of town and needing to order a cake for my mothers 78th birthday.He was patient courteous and never seemed to rush me off the phone and not once got irritated. I ordered a Tricw Dolce de Leche. It was amazing absolutely delicious I called three times just to get the filling correct. Markus consulted with the decorators many times to get their teams expertise especially since the decorators and bakery knows how blown away my entire family well be when we enjoy this beautifully crafted masterpiece. Beautifully landscaped and intricately detailed. Markus reassured me I would be satisfied. Been using this store as a pick-up point for FedEx because of porch pirates and FedEx no longer ringing doorbells. My issue with Safeway is either the training they get from FedEx or they dont care because they are Safeway not FedEx. Theyre just not handling packages that are dropped off by FedEx for customer pick-up. Before you used to get notification you package was ready for pick-up. They just dont care. Once they signed off on my package as delivered. Now, they dont do anything with FedEx dropped packages for customers. If you track your packages, it will only say it out for delivery. Even days later. I asked about this with the clerk and was told that how its done. I call B.S. How is it that Safeway used to input tracking info in FedEx tracking system as ready to pick-up before and now they dont. Leaving you wondering where your package is at. Wheres the accountability.

Clean and friendly place for all types of grocery shopping. Has a wide variety of selections from top brands to lower end brands. All within a good price, and even better when you sign up for the Safeway rewards club card. There Safeway Just For U app is really where you will find the best savings and prices. A must if you like shopping there. Its a great store for also picking up quick fast ready to go hot meals, lunch or dinner. They have a Starbucks, US Bank, florist section and bakery section. Customer Service is great. I love to use the self check out lanes because it quick and easy and help is always the there if you have a question.

Love the customer service my only complaint is I noticed that there are very few shopping carts. I also know the homeless come in pick up whatever they want take off as well ad using the restroom to shoot up their drugs. Creekbridge was a nice place to live, but every since they built the homeless shelter it has become just a blith of trash in the area.

Its not the grocery store, but the pharmacy I have an issue with. Theyve deteriorated steadily over the past couple of years until I am ready to move my prescriptions to a less convenient location just to get decent service. Numerous times now they have given a promised time (and its always HOURS away, at least; I think the longest wait time Ive ever been given at other pharmacies might have been one hour), I give them an hour or two beyond that and then its STILL not ready when I arrive. Other times, Im promised I will get a phone call. It never happens. If you get a technician to answer the phone, you will be put on hold so long that it will switch you to a voicemail box...which a robotic voice will inform you is not available. Yesterday my doctor electronically sent the prescription at 9 AM. I actually stopped on my way home to check and make sure they received it because often they say they cant find it in their electronic orders. It was there, but whenever they discovered that they didnt have the medicine I need, they didnt bother to call and tell me that they wouldnt even have it today until after 5 PM. I had called and asked them to check their other location...was promised that they would and I would receive a call back. Of course, that didnt happen. Im so done with this pharmacy.Edit** Had my doctor try another pharmacy. They have the medicine and I can pick it up in an hour.

Just went in for COVID, 4th booster shot, it was a long wait, although I was the only one waiting. they do have a room for you to wait, but no coffee or food allowed, and tv on wall wasnt hooked up to anything, so unable to watch it.. It was an unmanned waiting area next to pharmacy,behind a glass door, and had no bathroom. WhenThe pharmacist came in, who administered the shot...he came in complaining that a lady( at counter) didnt know English, and if you live in America you should not expect people to speak Spanish. I thought it was kinda insensitive and inappropriate to complain about it ( to me). I mentioned that its harder for older people to learn a new language, but he was insistent that she wasnt even making an effort, she was insisting that they speak Spanish.. I wasnt there,(to hear the actual interaction, but I hope he wasnt that rude to her)because he relayed the interaction with her in such a intolerant way.

Its okay. The employees are usually very kind and friendly. There are often long lines and I dont understand why. (It will never cease to amaze me how long the lines are at any market) They have tried to make up for it with a self check out, but those lines are just as long. It has a Starbucks inside with a small cafe area. Parking lot is safer than the one on N Main street though, so, if safety is an issue, shop here.

This is ONLY for the BAKERY DEPARTMENT. I love Safeway! But their bakery department is terrible. I ordered a petite cake, and this one was smaller than any of their petite cakes, which I had before. I was going to look past that and past the fact that the cake was lopsided. But what really did it for me was the fact that it was mostly frosting! I asked for the filling to be vanilla cream filling and instead got vanilla icing inside! So my cake was mostly frosting inside and out. In assuming that’s why it was lopsided, because of the heaviness of all the frosting inside of it. Will definitely keep shopping at Safeway but never ordering a cake from them again. Today I met a lady that goes by the name of janita and she was working in the area where they make the sandwiches. Let me tell you something about this lady. First the bread I wanted was not behind the counter, she wet to the bakery and got some. She heated the meat up separate and then toasted the sandwich again. This is my grocery store, but I rated it 4 stars because of the markup on merchandise. I have the app & often get great deals, but theres so much I can get at Walmart for much cheaper. Problem is, Walmart often doesnt have the product on their shelves, so Im screwed either way. It is a great store, & I love shopping here.

Standing puddles of I dont know what on floors. Had to mop up the stall I was using myself. No hooks to hang sweaters, jackets, bags, and so on.

Dissapointed. They had a sign that read buy 4 general mills cereals for 1.69 each must buy 4 but the wrong size cereals were in that specials section. I purchased 4 and each were 5.49 each because all those cereals by the sign were large size. So misleading. I would have never purchased 4 cereals at that price but thought I was getting a deal. I called the store brought to their attention and all they said was we will remove that sign so carelessly. Please pay attention.

Provides a chain consistant product selection and that within 2 reciprocal store floor plan product placement layouts. I travel regularly and it is a great help to be 3,000 miles away and find as Im shopping up and down aisles that I can at times forget what city Im in. So while Im in a different store I dont have to hunt for products - they are in the same place. While this isnt 100% Im rarely affected by an exception.- Prices also reflect a chain wide consistency which certainly helps on the travel budget when outside of Safeway the prices reflect resort location gouging when you are in one.

Safeway is always a great store for some quick grocery shopping, its a clean store, really organized, along with great customer service. It also has ATMs inside, along with a Starbucks store, to get your coffee at anytime of the day while youre grocery shopping, which makes your shopping experience better. This location is my favorite in town; there are 3 locations. Large store, better selection. The major downfall is the mens restroom at the front of the store. It is absolutely horrible. One urinal covered with bag, the other barely flushes and dont get me started on the stalls.

I went into the store to buy some beer. It was 1:45. I went there at that time because my work hours make it so that is around my time to have a beer or what have you. A man, darker Latino man walked up about 20 feet from me and said I had two minutes to buy beer. I told him I still had 8 minutes to look around. He then got hostile and said, I sell whenever I want to, no matter what the time. He said, I can smell alcohol on you from here (20 feet away) I asked him his name and he wouldnt say. He had no name badge. I went and made my purchase with plenty of time to spare, written on top of receipt as well as the printed time. I asked the cashier what his name was. She said it was Manuel, but she couldnt give his last name. This was on 4/25/2017 at 1:58 AM. I then went to him and asked his last name. He said I am the night manager and I dont have to tell you my last name. He wore no badge or work clothes, he was a bald mild colored Latino as he put it. I said this is totally racist because I was white. He threatened to call the police, I said go ahead. Like I have something to hide. I was about to leave when I noticed another clerk. I asked him what the night shift managers last name was. He responded that he was afraid for his job if he answered. I then claimed this was racist. He said why? Because everyone in the store is Mexican and I am not. He said you look Mexican. I am Caucasian with a variety of backgrounds but I am not Mexican. This is racism at its finest the other way around. I actually worked at a Safeway in Sonoma county. These are not the rules of Safeway inc. I would have gladly told them the last name and apologized for their behavior. They are union, I do not know what kind of hierarchy they have at this location. What manager wears their own clothes and no badge? He treated me like a criminal, I was wearing comfy pants and a long winter coat. There was no reason for this. I believe he should be fired. He was much more vulgar than what I made him to seem. He was totally unprofessional. I seriously doubt he would say such things to a darker person. I am no racist, but apparently he is. He kept saying my word meant nothing, well we will see, wont we.

I saw a guy standing at the back of Safeway eating from the ready food boxes. All the customers pass by looking shocked. I approached a cashier to tell the situation, he already saw him eat but decided not to take any actions. This Safeway branch is becoming increasingly unsafe and unsanitary, attracting thiefs, and homeless because of their inaction. The guard stands like a light-pole by the door doing absolutely nothing.

Management of this Safeway is truly incompetent. They let one guy steal food and beer almost everyday in front of their eyes. I told them that he climbs into their backyard food sorting patio, or simply take 24 pack beers and walk out. They see him and let go. I called the police but Safeway is dead insensitive about thiefs, their action invites all the thiefs and homeless into this Safeway branch and solidify the city of crimes image of Salinas. Shame on you guys

Ok so safeway is not only a grocery store but it also has a deli, Ive been searching for a chicken strips and potato wedges that filled my love for them and this is the place. It may seem doubtful but guarantee you will love the wedges and chicken strips from the safeway deli. I went today for breakfast which is wierd 😂but I love them so much. Key point is dont be too quick to judge a place just go try itttt
