Wow, there are a lot of buy one get one free so I really want to go grocery shopping here. then their displays here are organized so you wont have a hard time finding them. And this is my husband favorite Safeway grocery especially ICE CREAM.💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞

Very clean store in a safe area of town. They have a good selection of anything you may need. Giovanni in the bakery department is an amazing very helpful young man.

One of the most frustrating places to work. Management is a joke and very incompetent. Hiring manager/second (Mike Defreitas) gambles on the clock regularly and uses bad language which I find very unprofessional. The store director (Gina Champion) has numerous union investigations and talks to all of her subordinates like they are sub human. Let’s also look at the fact that the store always has a union rep inside it probing at these problems. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WORKING HERE.

This place is highly overpriced. I bought grocery there. Cost me $290 next time I went shopping. I tried grocery outlet over by trader. Joes and only paid a $169 for the same exact stuff. I believe safeway is price gouging although, the outside of grocery outlet looks bad. The inside was way cleaner than safe way I found this very surprising

Ward the manager stated too his employees rite in front of me that they could not use the restroom unless on a 10 minute break Im pretty sure thats against California state law.

When I picked up my groceries from Safeway and was asked if I wanted to donate to research for breast cancer, I said no, and my mom died of breast cancer when I was nine-years-old in 1990.I am tired of being asked to give money to researchers and charities who squander the money and produce zero results. They may as well be politicians.40,000 women die of breast cancer every year. 40,000 X 34-years = 1,360,000 women have died of breast cancer since 1990. What are researchers doing with all those donations?Also, I have not been able to log-in to Safeways website for about two weeks, and their customer service and tech people keep telling me they are escalating it and working on it.Two weeks later, I still cannot log-in to the website.

This place is particularly clean compared to other Safeways Ive been to. And customer service seems more attentive and focused. I use the self checkout line and I was helped by a tall pleasant man thats worked there for over 25 years, we were impressed by the overall experience will be shopping there again soon!Update 08/04/23- 3:00pmIve had to unfortunately take away the 5 star rating due to the fact that I was treated very rudely and felt discriminated against. The sad part was that the person who was actually making feel very uncomfortable was the store manager. From being followed to being spoken to very rudely Im disappointed in the quality of service now. Id also like to point out that the, young woman and young gentleman working in produce should focus more on their work and less on gossip, since for the past 10 mins I was in the produce area all they did was stand there gossiping to each other rather then getting work done.The last few years have been an awesome experience at this location unfortunately I no longer feel comfortable shopping here. I hope things go back to the way they use to be.

Online shopping is atrocious. They always give terrible substations. The associates don’t take pride when shopping orders from online. Got organic lettuce with brown spots, mushrooms with dark spots on them. Then substitute lime seltzer water with plain water and substitute Qt of half and half of O organic. I ordered half gallon for $7 get charged $6 for Qt of half and half. I’m tired of Safeway antics and games. Last straw was telling associate I don’t want that terrible substitution and want credit back for product I left with associate but didn’t receive or get refund for seltzer water. Now I had to request a refund now and it’s a pain in the neck to deal with Safeway for their own mistakes.I quit using them few months ago for same reasons and because of hidden $30 charge. They get rid of charge now, but they still can’t complete your order properly without substituting stuff that isn’t wanted or past expiration. I’m going Back to shopping at Raley’s since they have Fresher produce where mushrooms are white and lettuce is green. I literally feel like I just threw away $10 because of Safeways poor judgement on what produce is considered rotten or edible. I have gotten a lot of spoiled milk in my previous orders. My Rating is mainly based off from my online shopping experience and receiving expired items from handful of previous online orders.

Actually am the neighbors with the store manager. He goes above and beyond from helping in the parking lot to addressing management issues. He needs a pay raise. Lol.
