I placed an order for my daughters birthday cake, they called to inform me they didn’t have the toy toppers . We tried to find a solution and agreed I could just purchase the toys and they’d discount the cake, I picked up the cake and just briefly glanced at it as the lady was in a rush and I really just looked at the spelling . I informed her of the discount and all she did was give me attitude about it and then took only $4 off, as if that was reasonable . I got home to check the cake and realized it looks nothing like the picture but still just decided to go with the flow as I already have the cake . Then after cutting the cake it got worse there was more frosting on this cake than actual cake it was disgusting. I’m very disappointed as I’ve ordered cakes from Safeway plenty of times but this was just a disaster and my daughter was upset .

One of the biggest grocers in Oakland. Their produce section is what I really go for. They have a bit more exotic food choices than the other big grocers in Oakland. They have the best store hours and the freshest stuff. Ive never found an expired pastry on the shelf or molded dry salami, unlike another store Ive been to. 10 out of 10.

My first time shopping here and my impression was a good one. The store is well kept and roomy. Good selection of produce. With other popular stores in this center, finding parking can be a challenge, but theres plenty of space on their rooftop lot. They had no long lines at checkout. Located at the intersection of 2 popular roadways.

The checkout lines have always been long and slow but self checkout with someone there to help made this location bearable. Went to do some quick shopping and saw they removed the self checkout. I dont think that will mean more employees at checkout lanes.

Ridiculous lines almost every time. Reopen self checkout or hire an adequate number of cashiers. Dont buy frozen food here because it will likely melt by the time you checkout. This is the fault of safeway management btw not employees.

Best Safeway Ive ever been to! So many more gluten free and vegan options than other locations. This place is huge and extremely well stocked, youll find everything you need. Bathroom is disgusting though

I normally shop here weekly because it is walking distance from my butcher and bakery but recently the quality of foods has declined. The meat in the refrigerator is frozen. The lettuce is moldy. I guess we’ll have to move to another grocery store.

Can someone please explain why this Safeway looks like the end of days? Today is Monday and they only had 3 checkers. The manager was sadly overwhelmed, she needs a raise for keeping it together. But the lines are long and there’s house less and tweakers inside and outside of the store.This company is neglecting their employees and the safety issues in and outside of the parking lot. Be careful when you come here.

The store at long last has spotty internet connection, an improvement. Unfortunately, customer service still is non-existent, from the young female supervisor who hid in her office and does little to the many cashiers atrocious demeanor. It makes one wonder if Safeways employment requirements for that store are rudeness, belligerence, ignorance, arrogance, and in general, traits devoid of any qualities representing decent customer service.

I really enjoy the size and wide selection of this store. It has so many more flavors of things I buy to choose from and the store is enormous. I also really appreciate the option of being able to shop there until 2 am when everyone else is closes at midnight or earlier. Im in Berkeley so the drive isnt too bad, and its a relief for me to know that Ill be okay even if I should miss going to my usual Albany store.However.I just went there and was refused entry at the door at a full 15 minutes until 2 am, when the stores official closing time is supposed to be. I was really upset, I asked the security guard if I could please just come in to get milk and bottled water, but he still refused. My dogs are out of food and I cant afford to buy from one of the few 24 he gas stations who charge an exorbitant fee for a tiny 3.5 lb bag. Im practically in tears, just sort of sulking around the front of the store and off to the side so I can use their WiFi. I witness several more people get turned away at the door, most of whom expected to be able to get in at 1:57, three people showed up at 1:59 and Im standing there shaking my head and rolling my eyes. But heres the kicker: four young men came at about 4 minutes till, I believe they were Caucasian, same as the security guard posted at the door. I think one if them said theyre dog was out of food and theyd be real quick, which is funny since my dogs are out of food, only I forgot to mention it. (I wonder if it would have made any difference...?) Where I was met with an expression which struck me as genuine sympathy for me but could just have easily been feigned and him apologizing and informing me that he had been told not to let any more people through.... He goes and lets those four dudes in. What the hell?? I was and am mad as hell about it because I dont have much gas, what the hell did I drive out here for?? Fifteen minutes is way too early to close a store that people are depending on for important things in their daily lives! Utterly proposterous. Please dont make a habit of this, Rockridge Safeway! Its really not cool at all! 😔

Ugh. Had to chase people around the lot to get a cart. It took 20 minutes. Bought several cases of soda and beer for a party, and 2 large bags of ice. Both elevators are broken. Had to haul my 20 or so items up the stairs, 1 flight at a time, so noone stole it. Not a great experience. Did I mention they had 2 checkers and the lines were well into the aisles...

Sadly, this Safeway has really gone downhill. I couldnt find any shopping carts outside (upstairs or downstairs, or in any of the return locations). Meanwhile, there are no baskets available inside either! Im not sure how Im supposed to do my shopping. Theyve also put in so much anti-shopping lifting deterrents into the store to limit the entrance and exits... its really degraded the shopping experience! Good luck to anyone who goes to this location.

Terrible branch of safeway. Sketchy people loiter outside. Lockdown most entrances in the evening. Frequently unable to find any carts. Completely removed self check-out and only had one non-express lane at 7pm which forced me to wait 20 minutes (!!) in a line for what would have taken 3 minutes (!!) for me if self checkout wasn’t removed. Ridiculous.

From one of the best to the Safeway down to one of the worst.Three more mobility carts and none charged. Was told one was but the display just didnt work. That was a lie. Died one minute in.Go to get a cart? Nope, they have two of the doors locked from the inside.Overall not a disability friendly store at all.Next time Ill go to Target.

Awesome take out food inside Safeway by the Deli area! No line! Ready to eat! I make sure to grab all the awesome veggies and meat and then they also got Thai chicken curry as part of the buffet take out! The curry here is awesome!!! Mix that with all the delish veggies and meat and you got a win for your tummy! Healthy options too👌

L am having some health difficulties and lm using crutches right now. . .when l entered the store a security guard noticed me and asked if l needed a scooter. l said yes and he bought a scooter to me. . .l was able to get my groceries and l was done shopping in a short amount of time. . .

Decent Safeway for Safeway standards but I feel like there’s no one to ask for help finding something?? I also never can find a grocery cart and end up getting trapped behind those dumb gates trying to find one in the store only having to exit the store completely to try to find one in some magical place.Updated to 1 star:they got rid of self checkout and only have 4 cash registers open on a sunday evening with no express lines. love waiting behind 6 ppl with a full weeks worth of groceries when i’m just going in for a few items 🫨

This Safeway has enough money for a fully militarized set of fences and gates, but not enough for carts. If you dont want to carry your groceries in your arms, prepare to get pepper sprayed because youre going to have to follow someone to their car.Oh, and if you do find a cart and want to take it to your car on the 2nd floor parking garage, get wrecked idiot. Youre going to have to leave the store, circle around to the other side, and come back into the store because only 1 of 4 elevators ever work.

I just had an amazing experience with an employee who restored my faith in hu.anity, and I will never forget it as long as I live. I am currently homeless and physically disabled as the result of walking too much on my tired, blistered feet. It makes it hard to do anything, grocery shopping being one of them. I spent quite a while searching the 3 or 4 isles I thought could possibly carry toenail clippers just to turn up short and discouraged by my lack of ability to find them. As I was leaving through an unused checker isle, a beautiful young girl who was bagging the groceries for customers in the next isle, asked me if I had looked on the end caps for the item, and I explained my plight to her and said I might just need to come back next time, because I wasnt sure I could handle any more pain on my injured feet. She insisted that she would be happy to go find them for me. She was so kind and cheerful, and also very thoughtful and told me that I could rest my laurels by sitting on the motorized scooter by the carts. She returned with all three options that she found for me and then offered to ring me up at the closed checkstand so that I wouldnt have to wait in line. The whole time she was just so kind and attentive to me, and she made me feel like my disability didnt make me look weird or gross at all, which is largely how Ive been feeling in public recently. Her genuine interest in my happiness and well-being really turned my frown upside down. I really hope her bright spirit and cheerful demeanor, as well as her ability to know a customers needs, should be acknowledged by management, I think she deserves to hear what an asset she is to the store, and I hope if you guys can manage it that she could even get some kind of bonus or prize, perhaps employee of the month consideration. Her name is Cameron and if there are multiple Camerons then Id be more than happy identifying her for you guys. Thank you for reading, I had a great time writing this review because my interaction with Cameron this evening was beyond special to me as a customer and a person. It was magical.

Had the worst shopping experience ever at this Safeway today. Not one shopping cart at either side of the entrance to the store. Once I entered the store on the produce side, I was told all shopping carts were located on the opposite side of the store. Mind you we were shopping for my 91 year old mother who was with us.I went across the lobby to the opposite side to get a shopping cart inorder to not have my mother long on her feet. Not one cart in the lobby on the bakery side of the store either. As I made my way back to the opposite side of the store again where my wife and mother were waiting to start their shopping experience I encountered another clerk that could not be bothered by my request for customer service to retrieve a shopping cart. That was not part of what customer service was is what I was told. I then asked to request a manager to speak to inorder to get me a grocery cart to shop with. The female individual who approached asked what she could help me with and told her a grocery cart to start with would be terrific. As she had to locate a cart somewhere outside in the parking lot she returned with a cart with a very snark remark about having a good day. VERY POOR SERVICE!!Shame on Safeway for cutting staff so much they cannot even provide the very basic needs of its customers.

Ever bought groceries in a jail? Me either, but I know what thatd feel like now! The service is mediocre at best, but thats kinda to be expected when you treat your staff this badly. When you can find an actual person to talk to, and help them recover from the ambient trauma of their workday enough that they can deal with normal human contact again, theyre great - but also visibly overworked half to death. The line for an actual checkout is always backed up halfway to dairy. The self checkouts are numerous, but youre not supposed to be allowed to leave without scanning your receipt - ever, even if you changed your mind or just forgot to grab a cart on the way in. But hey, dont worry - all the money they saved by not paying a real cashier and making YOU do that job instead has now gone into a couple of literal gun-toting security guards to make sure you dont forget to scan anything!Nevermind that there isnt really a way to leave the store without buying anything, not without setting off an alarm. Your safety is guaranteed, by main force! Honestly, I feel safer among the (harmless) unhoused community out front. Getting groceries here is kind of a frightening experience, not because of where the store is (come on, this is Rockridge), but because it reminds you constantly that in the eyes of Safeway, every customer is potentially a criminal (yes, even you), and every human resource is meant to be milked dry in service to their notional needs, criminal or not.

Update:It took two years, but there are finally carts. The carts are only stored outside, and theres a system of anti theft gates that force you to walk through the store to get back out to the carts of you forget one.Id be annoyed, but this store experiences constant theft. Literally every single time Im here, I witness some sort of theft.Update:Its been over a year. There still arent enough carts or baskets. You may get lucky if you visit on a low traffic day. Otherwise, bring your own large tote to use as a basket.Theres a little graveyard of abandoned carts at the strip mall side of the parking lot, opposite the Safeway. This is because the carts will lock their front wheel in their own parking lot. Pretty bad lot and storefront design for this whole space, but what are ya gonna do at this point?Original review:Its been over half a year and there still arent any carts or baskets. You have to be lucky or wait for someone to empty theirs.The rest of the store is fine but that doesnt do much good if you have to carry all your purchases in your arms.

For months there have been a limited number of carts and cashiers.Super long lines causes angry customers who often yell or rant in line. I feel bad for the cashiers. Company ought to care more about thier quality of life IMO.Managment replies to reviews saying they will pass this info along but nothing changes.Additionally the gates that only allow you to exit through very narrow small areas posses a risk in a place known for earthquakes. Makes me feel very uncomfortable when I have to go there bieng gated in with angry patrons as well. If anything gets out of hand its very difficult to get out. Overall just a bad experience.On top of all this a 12 pack of soda was $9+ ???Over it.

Boycott Safeway!Old reviewIts been a familys favorite spot for shopping for years now until they recently installed a very wierd security gates and turned the whole place into HOMELAND SECURITY HEADQUARTERS. I do not feel safe shopping at this location anymore which is rediculous. Theres plenty of grocery outlets around the area including spouts and trader Joes which offer quality products at a reasonable price. Safeway is not that special to be pushing away their customers like this in the name of item loss prevention. Members of the community please be advised and avoid this location if possible 🙏

Im extremely disappointed with Safeways service. I placed an order on November 1st, which was never delivered. Its been 14 days, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, Im still without a resolution.Ive contacted Safeway multiple times, and each time I was assured that a refund had been processed. However, after checking my account, no refund was issued. Even after speaking with someone in-store who promised assistance, the problem remains unresolved.The lack of accountability and consistent false promises have been frustrating. Its disheartening that after multiple emails claiming a refund, nothing has materialized.The failure to deliver my order and the subsequent mishandling of the refund not only inconvenienced me but also showcased a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction.I had high expectations from Safeway, but this experience has been disappointing and has made me reconsider using their services in the future.I hope Safeway can improve their customer service and address such issues promptly in the future.The Store Manager Bufilio who refused to give his last name, or give any information about how to contact someone at the store directly was also very rude as well. I am going to have to file a police report and take them to small claims court to ever get my money back.

Theres never any shopping carts or baskets here. It makes weekly grocery trips impossible. Ive gone to other grocery stores to avoid searching for shopping carts here. Its not busy either so Im not sure how theres never any carts. Its fine if you only have to pick up things you can carry with two hands. I tried going to this location again recently and found all the entrances blocked by security gates with no obvious way in. I managed to sneak? through (they clearly do not want customers entering the store), only to find one open check out register with a line backed up to the end of the store. (Of the self checkout: half were broken and the line was just as bad.) Anyway, I try to leave the store only to be confronted by and almost assaulted by a hired security guard! He absolutely would have assaulted me if he hadnt been held back by his coworker.Im not sure what set this guy off, but he does not belong in security. Please, for your own safety, avoid this location. I am trying to call corporate and am considering a police report. Eleven months later... I never heard back from corporate, but I actually went back (silly me). At least no employees tried to assault me, but at this point I firmly believe that this Safeway intentionally hires the rudest, most hate filled people available. Worst customer service ever! Luckily there are other places to shop.

Yes, the store is big but its a headache to shop here and I would not recommend shopping at this store. We wont be going back.1. Often I have to hunt for a shopping cart. I do weekly shopping for a family so I need a cart.2. Parking is bad and parking on the roof is a problem because there are elevators that are often out of service. There is no interior access the elevators. Its ridiculous. Who wants to push a full cart from one end of the store to the other looking for a working elevator?3. The interior barricades blocking access to the elevators and exit the store are problematic and hazardous.4. Poor customer service - It that huge store there are only a handful of people who are pleasant and helpful. There are no baggers.When finally driving back, a mob of Oakland Tech students swarming into the parking lot, stopping traffic and trying to intimidate drivers and impress their friends.

Worst Safeway I have ever been to. I was in the store no longer than a minute when I was approached by their security officers so they could escort me and my service dog out of the store. I usually dont ever get hasseled so I never carry his paperwork with me at all times, especially when I make a quick run to the grocery store. Im new to the area and this Safeway is definitely not welcoming, and I will not ever be spending any of my money at Safeway again. You lost a regular customer. How can a place be so unwelcoming of harmless pets?

@safeway, hire more people.This safeway is generally fine but always has absurd lines, on both the normal and self checkout. Waiting 15+ min when you want something quick isnt worth it. I know its more profitable to keep a bare bones staff but the waits are not worth it, generally better to go elsewhere, like Sprouts down the street.

This is my favorite grocery store. They keep it clean and all staff is very friendly! I like it because really big and not as crowded as others. They have a self serve area with lots of different types of food and also have a full Starbucks with seating. Their produce always seems really fresh. On top of all that, they have lots of parking! If you park upstairs and there are no carts, taking the elevator leads you into the store. There were few staff members I had to walk all the way around the store to try to get back out. All I needed was a shopping cart! The only exit is through self checkout which is completely unpassable if you dont have a receipt. There was no staff member at the self checkout so I had to wait for someone else leaving to get out. When I was able to get out of the store, all the carts outside were locked and I had to wait for someone to return them. What should have been a quick and easy in and out took over 30 minutes! If anywhere else in the area sold Diet Coke Id go there! Really awful experience, seems like a real fire hazard to lock people in the store unless they have a receipt.

Everything about this safeway is designed to counter non customers rather than assist the customers that are attempting to patronize the business. There are no carts half the time. When 1 is available they randomly will have the wheels cease to function as soon as you cross the threshold of the building, forcing you to walk your groceries all the way to your ride. The easiest entry way is only an exit now and you have to walk further just to get inside. On top of that they will sell items past their expiration date and put stickers on top of the soft spots on fruit.

When I visited the store today, there was a new gating system that only allows traffic to enter one way, and to exit, you must go through a register. I walked in and was looking for a basket, which they didnt have any available, so I had to go through the self check-out area to head outside to grab a cart. I got yelled at for walking through the gate and when I explained that there were no baskets so Id have to grab a cart, the person gave me attitude that they would let me through this one time but not ever again. What was I supposed to do? Also, how do you leave if you enter and they dont have what you need? Do you have to wait in a check-out line? Speaking of, theres always long lines because theres too few lines open. I get that theft is the reason they have this new gate system, but at least have one area where customers can leave without buying something and put extra security there. This store is not convenient to shop in... carts and baskets are hard to find, long lines and few registers open, and now this awful gate system.

I love this Safeways clean wide open aisles with its bright lights that make those products look very well organized and well stocked . The walking and buying of groceries is a pleasure up until you’re ready to find a cashier station open. Updated:Unexpected attitude from cashiers around bagging. I held off on mentioning this until it happened a few times (and others I talked to) to make sure it wasn’t a case of an employee just having a bad day.I like to bring Safeway bags back to the store to reuse. For some reason I’ve had multiple cashiers take this as a signal that they won’t help bag things. I have no problem helping bag, especially if it’s busy, but I have seen cashiers actively ignore me when I ask for help. I have heard everything from “yeah your bags are right there” to “I’m busy with the customer behind you.”Did i miss a memo that if you bring your own bags you are required to bag your own purchases? If there’s a union agreement or something, please let customers know. Having a lifetime of grocery cashiers helping bag purchases creates an expectation that it’s the norm. Several times I have tried to shop at this store but left to shop elsewhere. I am disabled and need to use a wheelchair to go more than a few steps. The store has only one electric riding cart and it is always in use with several others waiting to use it. Today, the cart is out of order. For a store that big to only have one is ridiculous. To not have even one working is crazy. I have tried to shop online for pick up, but I only received about half my items for some reason. At least I was only charged for the items I received. And many other problems with online shopping so I really NEED to be able to shop in person. This Safeway store is spacious and well designed. However, it is one of the worst managed retail stores Ive ever seen. Try the stores on Grand or San Pablo instead.There are routinely lines more than 15 customers long clogging the aisles. Even the self checkout has a long line. Sometimes customers just give up and leave their carts and baskets. And good luck finding a free cart: Most of them have been stolen, and the stores recovery operation isnt keeping up. You need to hunt around the parking lot a bit to find one, and sometimes even that doesnt work.Inventory is often misplaced or split between multiple locations. Some inventory is behind locked cabinets, and its impossible to find someone on the floor to open them, even if you call for someone. The only way is to wait in the checkout line and then ask the cashier to help you while everyone else waits: cashiers and loss control are often the only employees you can find!If the parking lot is full, use the roof parking. Do NOT park on the far end by the dumpster or Chase bank. If you do, the shopping cart wheels will lock on you before you reach your car.

The only issue I had was one set of elevators was not running and not marked. I go to this grocery store at least once a week and it is starting to drive me crazy that the store refuses to keep shopping carts in stock. How are we supposed to go shopping without a cart or a basket? I know that homeless people regularly steal the carts but that doesn’t mean paying customers should be denied access to them. Figure out a solution to your shopping cart shortage or I’ll be forced to move to online grocery delivery.

Had the worst experience here out of all the Safeways. They won’t give you alcohol even if you show your Id because there is someone with you who clearly looks over 21 but doesn’t have id(the Indian lady). The fat security guy is actually racsist as well and threatens to call the police and wouldn’t explain why. Always a line and the line takes 20 min when there’s only one customer in front of you.

I really like this Safeway store. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and the employees in that department as well as other departments are very helpful. Since it is a large store it has a good variety of items to choose from in most categories. I cannot rate the meat department since I am a vegetarian. The woman stocking the wine was most helpful and said that she had recently visited the winery whose wine I chose. The roof top parking is less crowded and has an elevator to the store.

The manager on duty, I believe his name is Pasha or Posha was horrible in customer service and in fact told me i should have given my complaint about the horribly nasty condition of the womens restroom to customer service rather than have them call him. He was sarcastic and rude. Now I understand why the only toilet paper in the bathroom is all over the floor, why one toilet was left unflushed and the other is broken and why theres no paper towels. People that have been following me for a while know this is my MO:1) The number on the parking garage for grocery pickups needs to work.—what is the point of telling customers to call this number if no one answers?2) You need to focus on hiring and training ESPECIALLY during this digital age!—Safeway corporate needs to have a division or task force that emphasizes mobile pickup.—This is the best policy with less exposure and less anxiety for shoppers and workers alike.—Why would you want people coming into the store if you have a way to mitigate the increase of traffic?3) Communicate with your customers! I tell my students this mantra, “communicate communicate communicate!” Safeway, if you cannot make a deadline, tell your customers that and give them another time! The best selection and layout of a Safeway Ive been in. The cheese, ready made food, and produce sections are really great. Also has a full Starbucks inside. Knocking off one star because there are never enough registers open. Its odd that older Safeways have self checkout and this one doesnt, which contributes to the backup. Be ready to wait 10 minutes in line, because even though they have 12+ lines, Ive never seen more than 3 open even at peak times.

Terrible customer service in the deli. Another customer and I stood in line for 10 minutes while people behind the counter completely ignored us. When I asked for assistance it was still another 10 minutes before somebody sauntered over unapologetically to serve the person in front of me. The person who made the sandwiches could not have moved any slower if they tried. Its lunch time. People come here on their lunch breaks. Bigger Safeway than the closest one to the house with lots of parking but this Safeway is regularly pretty dingy looking. Since the pandemic started its gotten worse. Employees routinely do not wear their face masks properly (nose completely exposed or below their chin) and rarely keep the 6 foot distance. I had to continuously move away if I asked a question on whether they had an item in stock as they are frequently out of things (understandable but I dont need you to stand a foot or less away from me to let me know).On top of all this, the store generally looks dirty and the produce doesnt look very good even pre-pandemic. Its rare to find them cleaning the carts as you take them and they only had one person cleaning just the handle bar as opposed to spraying down the entire cart like at other stores. The thing is that I went at a very busy time of day when even the upper parking lot was getting crowded and I had to exit through the front of the store to find a cart to begin with. The one I found hadnt even been cleaned but I happened to walk towards the front to buy fruit and passed the woman cleaning them and she cleaned the bar for me (she was very nice but why do they only have one person cleaning carts at such a busy time? Having to rush leads to mistakes which is dangerous for the employee and the customers.The one good thing I can say as every employee I ran into was very nice and I hope theyre doing okay during this time but I really have to wonder if management is doing all they can to keep them as well as customers safe

My first time visiting this store. Its a beautiful, extremely large store. The hot food section looked amazing! Everything was cooked fesh. I tried the general tsao chicken. It was very good. It wasnt drowning in sauce and it was cooked perfect. I will certainly be back to try many more. I also tried one of the salt and pepper chicken wings. It was very tasty as well. Parking in the main lot was a bear but there was plenty of parking in the upper level area.

Safeways Rockridge has really gone downhill. I bought two servings of sushi and the woman making the sushi gave me two bottles of water and said they were free with the sushi purchase. They had a sign posted also. I get home and notice i had been charged $15.98 for the two free bottles of water. I went back to get my money. And it is a whole other big issue. Safeways employees dont seem to care about doing a good job and have horrible customer service skills. On that same visit i have to wait 20 minutes to get helped at the deli counter. Only one gentleman was helping customers althought there were many employees behind the counter. Always some kind of issue everytime i get to the check stand. Example: cashier trying to charge me $17 for a turnip and then stands there for 5 minutes not knowing what to do.

I would like to be able to give zero or negative stars. The story starts with a horrible pharmacy experience. We tried the pharmacy here (big mistake!) due to Walgreens having constant computer issues and not getting prescriptions. The prescription would be ready but unable to be released due to the computer. My spouse is a first responder, injured on the job. Due to the injury, on a pain medication plan. Each time we had to deal with Sabrina McQueen, the pharmacist from H*LL, she was rude to say the least. The recent incident by far the worse. She was loud, rude & accusatory. Fortunately we have great insurance & have been able to transfer post-op care elsewhere. I spoke with a manager who was supposed to call back. Nothing. While we are lucky & can go elsewhere I feel for those who cannot. We will not be returning to this pharmacy ever or Safeway at this location since we did not receive a call back with the information promised by the manager. I would rather buy milk at mulberry’s or lucky’s then here. Both have great customer service with friendly & helpful staff. The manager at mulberry’s actually assisted in the shopping for a going away basket just last week. Customer service matters, clearly a concept lost at this Safeway, especially the pharmacy.
