The area and location are not suspicious nor did it feel uncomfortable. The Campbell location has 2 stations where you can choose to do your Training in case you are having technical problems. The mannequins are clean and not worn or torn apart which is nice. Everything was in working order when I did my skills training. There is hand sanitizer which is nice and the gloves are a must. The simulation itself is pretty self explanatory. The computer does a great job in directing you and showing you feedback. Definitely, will be coming back to this location to renew my CPR training

I actually had no idea how this was going to go, historically preferring an in person learning setting, surrounded by my peers. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the process was, and how quickly I completed the skills session! I absolutely loved and appreciated the surprise keychain CPR mask… lovely touch. I will most definitely go through safety training seminars again. Thank you so much for what you do!

First and foremost this was extremely convenient! The didactic portion was easy to follow and material that I wasnt quite grasping would continue to come up until I understood it. I did my BLS with this company 2 months ago and it was the same amazing experience! The hands-on portion actually teaches you how to properly administer life saving aid in a way that typical courses dont because the manikins at safety training seminars are connected to computers guiding you in depth, recoil, etc. 10/10 would recommend

It was quite pricey given the services provided, however convenient. Despite the tutorials, I still had difficulty titling the chin enough with the bag valve. It caused a bit of stress, but I figured it out soon enough. Im grateful to have this complete for the next 2 years!

Instructions were crystal clear-I knew exactly where to go & what to do for everything to go smoothly. Skills testing was scheduled for 2 hours but it only took me ~10 minutes. Watch the videos they send!Will definitely renew with them when due!

Super easy to do. The computer guides you. The in person is so much easier than the online portion from the AHA. Small, clean, tidy area- however it does get really warm in the rooms! Ill be back when I need to recertify.

I am glad they offer two rooms with identical clinical assessment training capabilities because the room in front upon entering has an adult mannequin that is not reading a full chest compression recoil. I quickly exited the program on that laptop and entered the back room and was able to restart quickly after logging back in again. Also, someone left their light jacket there in the back room, its navy blue with stripes on the front chest location. Hopefully you get that returned and there is a reunion soon! Thank you for this option safety training seminars, I work many long hours and to have this opportunity available is incredibly valuable. I found the online testing course easier to navigate than years prior (pre-pandemic)

The course was easy to take and the class offered for basic skills helped guide me every step of the way. I had a question when I arrived for the test but the front door provided a number to call. They answered right away and helped me. I highly recommend them and would use them again

As a medical doctor there are a lot of choices out there to get one ACLS training. This group had an excellent platform, truly teaches you, makes everything straight forward and easy. When my certification ends in 2 years, best believe, I know where I will go to to recertify.

I was nervous at first but the whole thing was EASY. Viewed the slides at home. They have a ton of locations to take your skills test. The site I went to was 4 minutes from my house. The test itself was very simple and quick. Started at 6pm and I was walking to my car at 6:19pm. Definitely will use this company again

Had a scheduled BLS class at 7am. Arrived at time to find the building unopened with no one around. Not even the property manager was able to be contacted. Waited a whole hour for the building to be opened at 8am. Don’t offer a class at 7am if you’re not going to open the door!! I would feel so much better if I could be compensated for the hour they wasted on me making me wait til 8am to actually complete my course. Ridiculous. Never using this company again.

Was able to come right in and start. Watching video demonstrations before performing skills made it much easier to pass the first time around. There is an option to try again if you don’t feel comfortable with your result if you passed. Initially, I was a little intimidated by thought of doing this course with no instructor present (have been re-certifying for every couple years for the past 30+ years with instructor classes) and using an automated system only for the first time, but it was easy.

I was kind of nervous with out an instructor. But going in seeing the setup of dummys table with everything u need and computer ready to go. It turned out to be very informative and easy to physically learn and do each module. I definitely enjoyed the hands on. I think it is a great idea. Keep up the good work

I love supporting locally owned and women-owned business. I want to share my very positive experience here. To be honest, I forgot all about it till 10 minutes past the starting of my course and I got there 20 minutes past the time. Luckily, there were two rooms/two working stations and I was first in the room and had the chance to continue working on it till I passed the course. I would choose them again in 2 years.

Great program! The online portion was one of the best virtual learning courses I’ve taken. For the skills portion, the room was easy to find and clean. Directions for completion were clear. My only feedback was that I took ACLS but the skills tested were only CPR. I realize it’s probably pretty complicated but would have been nice to run a megacode scenario

It was my first time taking a CPR course without in person instructor and it was very stressful! The computer guides you through the process but Ive had never done compressions so hard like I did yesterday. It was exhausting and the computer kept failing me at the test. I did the test more than three times until I passed. So,I was not very happy about it. I felt isolated. Personally, I missed the old fashion class where you get to interact with other individuals and theres an instructor present to help you.

This was the easiest and fastest recertification process of all time (in spite of historic storms forcing me to reschedule several times). This team 1) has designed a space that works perfectly for self evaluation, 2) is incredibly responsive to problems and questions, 3) is reasonably priced considering you can book appointments and training ASAP. I admire bay area CPR for not only offering a great service but also serving as a network for EMS and hospital professionals. Thank you!

Time for recertification and decided to pick a place closer to work. So glad I chose Berkeley, scheduling was a breeze online and the whole self serve/test process went so smoothly. Site was clean, easy to get to and parking is available, free if you get there early in the day. Would recommend to anyone that needs to take their BLS/CPR.

Not a great experience- format is long winded. Too many repetition in skill testing. Hands were SOO SORE after the test. Shd give the student an actual instructor - voice activated is VERY FRUSTRATING :((.

Super fast and convenient way to get certified in BLS, ACLS & PALS. Just do an online course which I find you learn more from since it reinforces topics you missed or so t feel confident about. Then after you’ve completed that course you go to a location to demonstrate your ability to do chest compressions. I went to the Berkeley location. It’s literally just one room and the entrance hall, but there’s 3 separate work stations. Just pick a station, log in to your account and follow the computer prompts. I got my PALS cert. They say it may take 45 minutes to complete but if you’re proficient in your technique, you can be out of there in 15. Best thing also, your certification card is immediately emailed to you as soon as you’ve passed. No wait at all. I will definitely use Safety Training Seminars for all my certification renewal needs. It’s fast (had to obtain my cert in less than 4 days, took the online course and skills test within 2 days), convenient (online learning at your pace and many locations throughout the Bay Area), and reliable (pertinent and prompt email correspondences detailing your training confirmation, your course activation, reminders about your skills course, completion of your course and finally your certification card).

Their online course is long and detailed but ultimately both the online and skills training portion are effective teaching methods. The machines are sometimes frustrating because their sensors are very fine but again its good practice.

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED online course and practical session in Berkeley, CA was a very worthwhile course that teaches lifesaving skills with reinforcement of information and the chance to perform them in person with instructor feedback. I feel confident that I could use these skills to help an adult, child and infant.

Broken mannequin failed me; I called the customer service number, and she said they knew it was broken and to try the one in the next room. Very frustrating; otherwise, fairly straightforward. I just wish they had removed the broken equipment prior to my class time.

I study at home and practice heart massage and breathing using Ambu at the office. Recommended for people who dont have time.However, since there are only mannequins, it is not suitable for people who want to ask questions in person.I was glad that I was able to attend the course without feeling nervous.
