Wow! I haven’t been in the healthcare field where a BLS was needed for many years. Having to renew I was dreading signing up for a 3-5 hour in person class. After a quick google search, I came across this option. The online portion was extremely thorough but also I was able to set my skillet to what I already knew and finished portion 1 in under 1 hour. I scheduled my in portion VAM the same week and the technology for this is amazing. The prompts are great and informational and you can retake/practice as much as you’d like within the time frame of apt. I competed in 15 mins. Before I walked out the door, I already received my emailed card. I hope this place sticks around and continues to thrive, super ideal for a busy schedule and plenty of times to sign up for. Thanks!

This is my second time taking a BLS class, however this is my first time using this company. The online learning was comprehensive and easy to follow. The online testing truly provided the background knowledge needed to perform effective CPR. Once I made it to the testing center I was pleasantly surprised at how advanced the technology is. The mannequins are accurate and reliable. The skill testing in person was truly impressive. It was nice to be alone in the testing room to allow myself a clear head. Thank you to the women who own this business for providing this leading tool.

It was easy to take the skills test here but man was it hot inside. The AC wasnt working and its easy to break a sweat during multiple cycles of chest compressions.

Very easy and great experience. I did have a problem with one of the baby mannequins but its nobodys fault. I think maybe the wiring got dislodged. Anyways I called the number thats posted on the poster in the room and they were very helpful. If it ever happens to you just simply log out and log on to another station. They will not delete any of the modules you completed and start where you basically left off. Thank you again and I appreciate how easy this process was!

This was my first time doing a CPR class where you do the skills portion completely alone in a room with a computer and manikins. There was no one there to assist when the computer was having connection issues or when the manikin was not registering the rescue breaths which was very frustrating. So if you are looking for a CPR class that requires no human interaction at all this is the class for you.

Excellent program. I learned, improved, and enjoyed even though I was used to in person learning. Very organized, good reminders, videos and descriptions. The room exactly as expected although I had to use the bag mask from the other station because the mask was a bit deflated and would not seal well. I will do it in Petaluma next time as well and definitely recommend.

Fast and easy and I completed in less than 4 hrs ! The hands on portion only took me like 15-20 min. I renewed my acls and bls. I liked the no pressure part of it. The computer guides u and shows u what your supposed to do first. The room was private and clean. They send you your e-card right after you complete your skills portion. Definitely recommend!

Easy and convenient. I docked one point because one of the manequins was broken and there was no sign not to use it. I had to find out the hard way. Otherwise, the instructions were impeccable and the center was super easy to use.

I had a great experience renewing my BLS CPR with RQI Safety Training Seminar. First you complete the online module and then show up to the classroom for your skills test. The room was neat and clean. All equipment was clean and functioned great. It was my first time renewing with RQI and it was so easy and seamless! Will definitely be renewing with them again!

I like the setup and instructions. Very good experience, especially to avoid Covid-19 infection. However, the manikin in station A of the Vacaville facility seems to have some issues with its sensors. Station B works great. Thank you.

I took the renewal BLS course through this company for the first time, and I WILL return in two years when I need to renew again.As a first time customer I will admit that I was a little nervous because I am used to signing up for a course, showing up to a class with an instructor, and following their lead. With the in-person classes, though, I don’t like how they’re typically very time consuming. Also, sometimes there are new students in the live renewals classes, and they need more time and attention, which creates for a longer class.I really liked how this course had an online test that I could take at any time before my “hands-on” portion. Depending on how many distractions you have, I could se getting the online test done in an hour or so. It’s also very fair on the difficulty and allows you to keep trying the questions you get wrong, until you get them right.At my location in Vacaville, for the “hands-on” manikin portion, the building was easy to find and had a code access door. There is no instructor present and there are 3 stations to allow three different people to go at a time. I happened to have the place to myself when I went! I ran in to a snag with my pediatric manikin (turns out it wasn’t functioning properly) but there are signs with a phone number to call for help posted all throughout the room! I had to call them twice lol but each time they picked up within a minute and were able to walk me through both the questions I ended up having.The computer guides you through the “hands-on” portion with very direct instructions and had tutorial videos if you need extra help. Once you’re done you’re able to send your new license to yourself via email!Now that I’ve done the process once, I know the deal and will be able to navigate my next renewal much quicker . It was still easier in my opinion than the alternative and it was more on my terms which I liked.I’m a happy customer and will be recommending this company to my coworkers and friends!

Very clean and organized. I had to go in for my ACLS and this process was the easiest by far and they have so much availability for you to choose from. You’re by yourself in the room but the computer guides you the entire way through. Directions on your confirmation are great and get you right where you need to go. Would definitely recommend!

Had to renew my PALS and took my recert through Safety Trainings Seminar. Sign up was seamless and was able to do all my online course. Locating an RQI facility was easy and they had multiple locations to be utilized. The facility I used was easy to locate and instructions were clear. Was able to do my recert easily! This was my first time re certifying since the pandemic. The online course for BLS cpr was succinct and helpful.The VAM system with the computer was easy to use and didnt yell at me for making a mistake. Youre given plenty of opportunities to watch a demo and try again. This whole class from online to hands on took me about 2 1/2 hours, including a few breaks. I used to teach cpr for the AHA and this class is so much better than spending all day to certify!

I had to renew my ACLS and PALS before the end of the month and the availability of skills testing days and times, combined with online learning really worked with my hectic schedule. The whole process was a bit confusing. From choosing the class to the actual “in person” session.We called to ask about language options. The person from AHA said we had option to choose our language on the day of class.My job signed me up and once I received the link it was all in English which is not my native language. I callwd 3 different numbers and finally someone said I had to choose PRIOR to registering for class. That was not what the initial person said. Because they said I could pick language on day of class plus select mannequin language.Plus I signed up for a class which I though o was attending but instead AHA sent a link to do online portion ay home prior to skills. It took me 4 hours since it was not in my language of choice.Going to the facility for the skills was a mess. The location was not clear. We had to call for help and finally they walked us through where the building and room was located and we were not even aware that there was a lockbox and we needed a code!Finally once we got to the empty room which we assumed would be an instructor was a computer to zoom an instructor.It was a stressful experience more than it should have been. Not sure I would recommend or take a class here again unfortunately.

Very easy and convenient process with offerings each day. I have to renew my BLS every couple years and they make it easy. The only warning I would give is that when you sign up for a class on AHA’s website, it doesn’t actually secure your reservation at the training site so you will need to sign up on their specific site

I really enjoyed this BLS program, what I liked even more it was clean and quiet. I liked that I was by myself and they have someone on standby to help if needed. Thanks to this class I now have the knowledge and tools I need to be successful. Plus the parking was perfect.

As an RN who works nights, it can be hard to find a good time to update bls/acls. Safety training seminars makes it easy, efficient, and accommodating. I felt calm and confident in the process and what I was learning. You complete the online portion before going in for compressions and ventilation, and the computer based manikin system is helpful in walking you through the process and ensuring correct depth and volume. I will always use safety training seminars in the future.

Loved this process. So easy and I appreciated the clear instructions. I was a little worried about the in person practical because no live person was around. But everything was so clearly explained. The manikins were attached to computer system so it gave helpful feedback about the quality of compressions and rate so you can adjust in real time. Best way to learn. Highly recommend it!!

Simple and efficient. I have used this company for the past 3 years and I must say that it has streamlined the process for recertification. The RQI learning is an adaptive learning program that does an excellent job of refreshing and reinforcing information you have relearned countless times, it also helps to instill new information and changes to medical guidelines, in a way that is easily retainable. I would highly suggest these companies for recertification. I only wish that they would partner up with hospital for employee recertifications.

I recently left a hospital that had RQI available to employees on site and the hospital I’m at now doesn’t. This was the perfect solution. My experience was not what I expected. I thought I would be in and out!!lol. Oh, Lowdy doing the compression and depths, I felt like I was in a gym and thought Id never pass. The guided video made sure youre doing everything right in case you have to do real CPR, which is hardwork. Easy to register for class and simple easy instructions. I paid for insurance just Incase I needed to reschedule. I’m thankful I did! My child was having surgery unexpectedly on my scheduled day and I wanted to get the skills test done before, but only had 4 days till the surgery. I called and was able to reschedule for a sooner class the same day I called. I was so thankful. It was a clean testing environment with all equipment in good functioning condition.

The cost of the class is a little pricey however, it is worth it in convenience. I was able to complete online curriculum and then make an appointment to do a skills check off. The process was straightforward and seamless. I had many nearby locations and appointment times to choose from for the skills check off which was nice. I used the company two years prior and actually received a reminder that my CPR was due prompting me to schedule again through this company, which is a nice business touch.

What a revolutionary new way of BLS re-certification! I LOVE IT!Rather than sit around arduously for 3 hours in a large group setting through an in-person class (that is mostly consisted of videos, interspersed with skills practice, and a paper test at the end), I was able to review the videos and perform the online test at home on my own time.The style of online testing is excellent and really pushes you to be confident of your knowledge by the end because it asks your level of certainty with each question, only allowing you to move forward if you answer correctly AND are sure of your response. It allows you to reference material at any given time for review and is even equipped with an online coach who prompts you on ways to improve.The same goes for the in-person testing for the skills. At the super clean and well organized Concord testing site on 5167 Clayton Rd., I spent only about 15 minutes testing in one of their testing rooms. I couldnt believe it! All the instructions were clearly posted on how to test and, despite being wary of an automated testing site, I marveled at the level and speed of feedback I received as I was performing CPR. The computer prompted me to make minor changes that greatly impacted the effectiveness of my CPR in real time.My certification card was sent immediately after completion of the skills test by confirming an email address and free pocket masks were available in baskets to take home. I took a bright yellow one, which matched the happiness in my heart that day (yesterday). 💛

The testing rooms are clean with supplies readily available for use along with cleaning supplies. It is located in a secure safe location. Why the five? It is for the dedication of the staff who offered one-on-one instruction due to difficulty experienced during the compression phase of the testing. The manakins were very difficult to compress, but with a few tips by the instructor and repositioning the hand placement. We were successful. Thank goodness. I was nervous about this type of class since I have always taken my CPR in a classroom setting where everything is completed at the same time. I felt safe in the room, it was clean, & well stocked. The computer is connected to the manikins, and it does tell you everything you need to do. It is, however, not as easy to do the compressions on an adult manikin, especially when the computer does not care if you have arthritis. It is very educational I must say. If you are young and strong, then you will do great! If you are older I recommend doing your CPR in a classroom setting.

4 stars for station B child 2 rescuer chest compressions not registering while performing compressions had to switch to station A and was able to complete my ACLS and BLS. Maybe a sensor is out of alignment otherwise seamless skills test assessment that did not take all day. Thank you so much for being here when I needed you at the last minute.

I needed to place the mannequin on the floor rather than try to do the CPR skills on the table - which is what they are set up to do. I had to travel from San Rafael to Concord in order to do this, as the mannequins are not set up with a long enough cord (attached to the computer) to do this. Also I requested observation by an instructor, since I was unable to get enough leverage on the mannequin to register compressions. Concord was the only place that offered observation by an instructor. Once we got the logistics cleared up, it worked fine. There was initial resistance by the instructor to place the mannequin on the floor, but when I explained my reasoning, they were helpful and efficient. Too bad I had to go to Concord, but at least I got the course completed in a short time period.
