Great learning experience!The online modules allowed me to learn information on my own time, while the in-person classroom portion was easy to follow.The help desk was quick to respond to requests, and my in-person instructor Rose was very patient as I oriented myself to the mannequins.I also love that it’s a locally owned, woman owned business too! Would highly recommend.

This is a great way to take a CPR class! Our granddaughter will be visiting the end of July and I wanted to make sure I had taken a class and was certified. This was convenient and easy. Instructions are easy to follow. Instruction, we’re easy to follow!

This was the best BLS renewal process I’ve done since 2009! I needed to renew the day of (how time flies) and was able to get a same day class. Online course was interactive, user friendly and very helpful. There was a number to call to speak with a live person, and I called several times with questions. They were patient and helpful each time. My hands on appointment was right after it, and I was so glad it wasn’t the usual crowded class that took all day long. The interactive dummies were straight forward, and an overall amazing experience. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend taking this course. It was very straightforward and simple, easy to prepare. The online course takes about an hour to two hours worth. After finishing the online course, you would have to take an in person skills test. There was an infant mannequin and an adult mannequin. The instructions are very clear and straightforward. I also highly recommend to watch the videos ahead of time to be prepared.

Easy to take the online didactic portion at your own pace. Skills portion is with a mannequin attached to a computer and it gives you feedback on depth and rate of compressions, volume and rate of breaths, etc. Its an excellent way to master your CPR skills. This is the second time I have used Safety Training Seminars. I like it better than an in-person class because I can get more feedback and finish more quickly. Watching the 2 suggested videos was also helpful.

The Safety Training class was perfect. I work Monday-Friday and this course has all times available throughout the weekday and weekends. The instructions were emialed prior to starting the course and I received a call reminding of my class. The suite was easy to find, very clean, and everything was available to complete the CPR course. I would definitely recommend this organization for renewal/intial CPR Certification.

The class was good, very organized. I would recommend taking the class if you need to renew your certification. The only thing was the classroom was challenging to find so I had to ask the front desk attendant. Otherwise I highly recommend. The instructor was also great and clear with directions.

This was the first time doing an online CPR course for me. I did all the classroom work at home and passed the test, then headed out to do the practical part of the exam. It was a very different experience but very doable. Some of my colleagues had done it before so I was aware of what to expect. Very efficient and smooth. Instructions are easy to understand and the website is set up to be user friendly.

Took the PALS Heartcode & Skills option. Received the Heartcode class within the same business day, finished in my own time, and scheduled for in person skills on a weekend. Directions for accessing the building for the Sunnyvale location on Stewart Drive was clear and concise. Equipment was in great shape, it was a smooth testing process.I’ve used this company for both BLS & ACLS already, and will continue to recertify with them.

This course is well designed and easy to access for anyone with a busy schedule. The feedback from the VAM is very helpful and useful.I would encourage the owners to check the ambu bag more frequently. The first one I utilized would not deliver an effective breath. Fortunately, there was a second one available.

I like how I was able to redo some of the exercises even though I passed it, just to get more practice in. I had to redo the 2 Person CPR and giving compressions definitely gets tiring but don’t panic and focus.

It was great. Before we do the practical test, our instructor went through the details and clarifies any step and you can also ask any question that you came across on your online course. Then you do the CPR/AED?and First-Aid part. The only thing that me and other student who came to exam had difficulty with was finding the room. We went in Sunnyvale and the building floor was like a maze and had a few more other room with the same number as the exam room. If from the entrance of the building people who are in charge of this place, insert some arrow guidance in entrance and hallway, it would be great. (Also the bathroom is upstairs left side). The other good thing is that each 6 months you can review the materials on their website.

The online portion was very efficient. I was nervous about not having an instructor available for the skills test, but the computer-guided program was also efficient and helpful. My appointment was 7.00 a.m at Saturday, I came a bit earlier, but It was easy to get in to the classroom and start a skill test even 5 minutes earlier. I spent more than one hour because it was physically hard for me but, finally, I got it . The classroom was very clean, the stations were ready and clean as well . Also, the instructions were very understandable, so what you have to do just follow it and you will be all set.Thank you for well maintained place for us, will see you in two years again. Appreciated all of the constant reminders for my appointment date and how to succeeded. Specifically for the ACLS in-person skills portion, I wish the third part of the testing was a bit more clear. Because of this, I had to do the third part of the test a few times. Also, it surprised me how small the room was. Literally just a room with two mannequins and computers. I cannot imagine how chaotic it would have been if there had been another person in the room with me since the computer talks out loud and directs us what to do. Luckily, it was just me testing. In terms of pricing, dont know if this is the typical price people pay for ACLS. Kind of wish there was a physical instructor to practice a mega-code with since the in-person portion for ACLS class just involved giving regular CPR. For that reason, kind of felt like the class should have been a little discounted.Overall, experience was still very streamlined and smooth. Loved how this business had a lot of availability.

Really liked the hands-on set up. Working with the mannequin and getting corrections in real time was great to help me improve my ability. I found right away when I wasnt fully allowing the chest the rise or when I was compressing too deep. Will definitely be trying to come here again for the next certification.

Our NRP instructor was really fantastic!She took us through the entire resuscitation process efficiently and thoroughly. She answered all of our questions and was really knowledgeable. The online portion is MUCH better. Going through the content and taking a test was much better than the esim (which feels nothing like the real thing). Great course!

The mannequins are incredibly hard to please and there is no work around if you aren’t strong enough. It took six rounds and two different mannequins before the computer would pass me.In person staff made the helpful suggestion of counting out loud.I won’t renew my BLS with them in the future.

I did BLS and ACLS at the San Francisco Vermont location. Safety training seminars has many locations throughout the Bay area so you can definitely find a location with the time slot that works for you. I booked only a few days in advance and was able to finish the online portion of the class the day earlier. Make sure you have enough time to complete that because you must finish the online portion prior to you starting the skills session. The skills session was quite quick. It is computer based and you follow along with the computer program. The in person component was very clean.

Horrible experience. The link to AHA website very buggy and kept getting locked out on drop down answers, correct, incorrect or just clicking drop icon (I locked up 9 times trying to answer Vfib as fatal arrhythmia and no change with incorrect answers either). Then it took forever to refresh, only to lock again Highly frustratingFor CPR test, impossible to find office in building (directions would be nice), and testing equipment so sensitive that even though I was just a fraction under (correct speed) compression depth I flunked 3 times. Unable to go onto next and come back as there’s no human around, and computer won’t let you. I left because I was too tired and frustrated to do againI’m going to do this again with another company I’ve never had a problem with CPR testing for over 40 years Pretty sure my patients won’t die if they code. I used these folks about 6 years ago Never again

I flew from Canada to complete ACLS/BLS for my upcoming US travel nursing assignment. It was extremely convenient being able to complete the theory portion at home! Although I had to make arrangements to fly into San Francisco, I was able to enter the building and finish my certifications with ease. This is the hardest CPR class ever I had ever taken. It took me a little over 2hr to finish the skill session. It was voice activated manican so I had to do it as I was guided. I had to do CPR so many times that I came out of the class with sore arms and hand. I had to reschedule the class since I didn’t know I had to finish online class before I showed up to the class for skilled test. I will suggest to read carefully what was written on the website before signing up for the class. There is a rescheduled fee of $30.

I have done classes with sts for years. They have good classes and equipment that works. The new mostly online classes are quicker to do, though I suspect I remember a bit less. Only two things I recommend improving…… I think they should add narcan training and the instructions for entry for the class could be improved. There were probably 5 or 6 texts and a few emails before the class but only one included the door code. It would be logical to reduce this and put all the needed info for the day together in the last message so I didn’t have to search and search. But I do recommend sts and find they train me well for all emergencies

The whole process to renew my BLS was quick and easy! After completing the online portion, you go to the office for the skills check off portion. My favorite part is that the skills part is all online with the RQI manikin system so there’s not an actual person there to check you off.

Just renewed my BLS and PALS, and it was a totally different experience in this COVID world. For both, the classroom course was completely online, BLS was 1-2 hours and PALS 4-5, depending on how fast you want to go through it. I like taking my time bc I actually enjoy reviewing all the algorithms, etc. I do miss having a human instructor and fellow medical providers to interact with, and run scenarios together, but that being said, its also nice to go at my own pace at home. I also like how the modules ask you questions all throughout the course instead of taking 1 big exam at the end. I feel like I can retain more knowledge this way. For the skills portion, it was kind of weird showing up at 598 Vermont street, and there is nobody there except for several stations set up with mannequins. But now I think that its maybe better to have your CPR skills evaluated by the machine, bc it really keeps you honest. In the past, I have never needed 3 attempts to pass the adult CPR skills test; the machine is quite strict about everything -recoil, depth, rate- and I was exhausted afterwards. I now know that in the past, I was never pushing hard enough for adult compressions. This is the most confident I have ever felt in my compression skills; I think this course imprinted on my muscle memory in a way that none of my training have in the past (no offense to my previous human instructors). I was also nervous that the computer-guided skills course would have glitches and I would need to be calling for human IT assistance often, but the software ran very smoothly for both skills courses. I was in and out very quickly, less than 20 min for each skills course. Everything is super clean and sanitized. And, there is still plenty of free parking (so unusual for San Francisco not to have put up restrictions after all these years).

In-person CPR requirements met in less than an hour! Only complaint is the masks are well-worn where the cuff is very soft, and so hard to get a consistent seal using the same technique, and the machine didn’t register compression location on the baby mannequin well- it is a small mannequin, so not much room for variance. This is also my first VAM experience, so could be user error. Still, out in under an hour, no books to buy, overall an efficient way to maintain your cert.
