I was hesitant at first to do this class coz I know that nobody will be assisting me. Although I watched some videos before coming to the site my fear was still there. As expected nobody will be there for me, I just have to follow the instructions to the computer which is very straightforward. It was a great experience that I did this class.

I did the online bls cpr program and had the vam cpr test in person. It was hard at first since I didn’t have a manequin to practice on at home but once I got there it became easy to get used to. Passed my test and definitely would recommend this program to receive your certificate!

I tested at the San Ramon location. Perfect for people with busy schedules. I appreciate the opportunity to take the hybrid course for renewals.The site was clean and instruction for testing clear. Communication on passing the in-person testing was helpful. I highly recommend watching the videos before the testing. There are helpful hints, which I did utilize.I will continue to use Bay area CPR Safety Training Seminars for all my CPR courses.

I attended the Morgan Hill testing site. I found this course to be very helpful and convenient I was able to log in at any time for the online portion and complete the course. It let the student finish their course at their own desirable pace. When it came to the in person testing portion of everything having the extra 10 dollar option to reschedule was nice as well although I did not use it and showed up on my first scheduled date and even a few minutes early having the option to be able to reschedule if needed was very helpful and appreciated sometimes things tend to come up. The instruction for entering the building and how to locate the testing site was sent through email and was very helpful and very well written in description in order for a person to navigate the area and know what to do. The VA was very helpful in explaining what task that was going to be tested during that part of the test and allowing the student to be able to complete the testing efficiently and with comfort. There was signs posted around the testing area on instructions if needed. There was also a free CPR mask available upon leaving the testing site which was cool as well. Overall I had a great experience and would totally recommend this course to someone else, thank you.

This was such a pleasant experience! The online course through the AHA was one of the best CPR/First Aid classes I’ve taken.As for the experience in hands on training, this place was clean, easy to access, and super clear instructions. They have videos on where the training is in the building and 2 videos on how to do the hands on certification. The instructor was prompt and it was super easy to navigate the laptop to show the mannequin to the camera. Even though the instructor wasn’t on n person this experience was way better than huge group certifications.I will definitely be back for recertification.

Different alternative to the classic instructor run class. Tests are done online before hands on with a manikin. Detailed directions to find the place. Despite the computer led manikin tests being slightly harder to pass, it’s a good alternative to spending 2 hours with a large group of people.

First I’d like to say congratulations on being a Woman Owed Company! I really enjoyed the classes they offer, there is no teacher but a manikin speaker whom may I say is very helpful and thorough . You make an appointment date, you’ll receive confirmation along with a passcode to the room oh yes the room fits two people at a time or you’ll be alone as I was😊 no pressure, no worries about making a mistake because they’ll help you all the way through until you have a passing score. I highly recommend trying them out took me about 30 minutes to finish I was in and out leaving with certificate and card emailed to me .great job with this one it’s especially amazing for people who are very nervous about testing.

Good directions to get to & into the building, clean facility & equipment, & program was easy to follow. My BLS & ACLS renewal was less than hour to complete. As an introvert, the solo-hands on portion of it was perfect, even the online portion was easily navigated, engaging, and educational. Will definitely be using this program again to re-cert in 2 years.

I tested at the Morgan Hill location. Easiest and most convenient course to take. Online portion is quick and the in person test took me less than 30 minutes. Location was easy to find. The time slots are basically everyday which is super convenient if you need to renew quickly.

I renewed my ACLS and was done in just 12 minutes. The directions to get here and the though the locked door were clear, the place was clean with multiple stations. The place was well-lit and felt safe. Will definitely continue to do my hands on skills renewal here. Thank you!

I took the course at the San Ramon location. The room is clean and bright. The computer is set up and easy to use and maneuver.My reason for 3 stars is that the mannequins are very sensitive. If you press too hard, too soft, too slow, too fast, you fail. It would be nice to have a practice session with the mannequins to get a feel for them. You jump right in and although the computer does guide you (ie, speed up, too deep, too fast, etc) you are being graded.I was sweating at the end. It was really hard to get the depth and speed correct. Fortunately. I passed the second time. The entire session took 45 min.I will take a different course next time as the mannequins were very challenging.

The online portion was very detailed and it took me about 6 hours for ACLS with BLS add on. The skills session with the dummy took about 20 minutes all together. I appreciate being able to schedule within a week and not have to attend a lengthy in-person class. Thats why I chose to do this renewal through Safety Training Seminars for the second time. My only criticism is that the price could be lower, it is expensive. Or give coupons to people who have used your program in the past.

This was actually a new cool training process for me. I did the online portion at work because it is required. Came to the office building and had a virtual instructor with the hands on portion. I like that there are only spots for 3 people at a time so we are not sitting wasting time, watching everyone do it one by one. I never seen or used an epiPen, so that was probably the coolest part for me. A 5 star because it was fun, convient, time saving and just overall good experience.

This was my first time doing a completely automated CPR Class rather than working with an instructor. I enjoyed that I was able to quickly and efficiently pass my testing without the hassle of working at the speed of a class room. Second time using this location and program but for a different certification- ACLS Renewal. The online course was a great refresher- clear and concise. Skills portion was very clear. They give reminders via text and email. Another great experience. Only problem I had was that the last users did not clean up and they left open masks. This is very unfortunate when courses are self guided- nothing to do with company, but just wanted to share that so they are aware. Thank you

Facility had plenty of well lit parking. Plenty of stations to choose from. One fix can be to turn on the air conditioner... it was extremely hot inside, and when you have to repeat compressions topass, it was too warm. Other than that...I love the set up.

This review is for the Concord location only. I have mixed feelings about this course. I thought the online at-home portion was decent.. definitely took me longer than was expected. The material covered all the basics.The in-person skills, however, was strange. Theres no one to help you if you have questions (unless you call three different numbers and wait to speak with a representative. I got disconnected twice). When your arrive, hopefully you were sent an email with the door code (I could not locate one in my email), otherwise youll be standing at the door until you get a hold of someone.. For someone who doesnt know the process, this can be discouraging. During the skills test, the mannequins are very sensitive, so be aware of this. During one portion of the skills test, you are tested on two-person CPR... But youre alone... Again youre by yourself in a room. Long review short, it was ok. I might go a different route next time.

Really love the RQI process as far as renewing. My only gripe is that the rooms are kinda small and you are pretty close to someone else if they are testing. You can hear their prompts and if you’re somewhat on the same track, the echo of the VAM is aggressive and makes it hard to focus. Just my personal experience. But overall, easy and I completed all skills in 30 minutes. The videos do help and the VAM is great at correcting you when necessary.

The online course material is adequate. However the skills portion was not practical for me.I had to do the adult portion at least 3 times. Based on each person’s anatomy the compressions will defer in quality. When you get feedback from only a machine/computer, it’s not useful and quite frustrating.

I have anxiety when in person, sometimes i feel intimidated by the instructor and forgot all what I knew. The online BLS was good. I signed up for first aid and BLS but there was no first aid training. I called and spoke to a woman who told me the first aid part comes at the end, it does not! The hands on would be easier if there was more room for the infant cpr, also if you could do a practice run to improve consistency on depth, rate and volume. Still want to review my basic first aid, I feel like the advertising was substandard and confusing.

The course had great info, and was an informative refresher. I was disappointed because the 2-4 hour course time was hardly true. I worked on one course for 12 hours, it was frustrating. I was very upset that I had signed up for two classes. The second went faster because I figured out how to get through it quicker (closer to their estimate). After the frustration wore off I can look back and say it was a good class, but don’t assume it will be the time they stated if you are an average smart person (like me).

Instructors were nice and try to help you but I do not care for the over Skype instructor set up. I think when it comes to something like CPR and first aid these skills should be taught by an IN PERSON INSTRUCTOR not someone talking to you through Skype/a laptop that is echoing and making loud noises sometimes.

This was such a great experiencing. It is so much better than being in class with other individuals and not being able to work at your own pace. Safety Training Seminars allow you to learn/work at your own pace when doing your certification. You are in a quiet room and really get to focus. It is quick and easy! Being a RN and having to renew multiple certifications every year, this is the only way to go for me. I will be issuing Safety Training Seminar for all my renewals now!

It was easy to gain entry to the testing facility. The computer voice automated instructions were very easy to follow and if you don’t pass the first time you get to try the skill until you do pass. The only thing that was a little challenging was getting the adult mannequin’s head back enough to give air. I eventually got it! Thanks for a great CPR testing experience.

I would definitely recommend getting your BLS done here. It was very convenient and efficient. I love that there’s so many times and days available especially with my busy schedule. I would recommend practicing after watching videos, especially giving breaths for adult and child skill. I found that part to be difficult, since I have small hands and I needed add more pressure around the mouth while pumping air. Overall, I would recommend this place since your are guided throughout each skill.

I had a great experience using the Morgan Hill location for my BLS cpr renewal.The instructions/directions provided on where to go and how to access the room were very specific and accurate. The computer system was easy to use and the material was easy to access online to complete that portion of the class. The in person skills portion did not take very long and I was emailed my certification immediately after I completed the skills portion.I would highly recommend using this option for cpr classes. The mannequin that I used was broken and not working properly no matter how hard I compressed it didn’t recognize that compression depth. After six cycles of compressions I decided to log out and switch to the other station and passed after the first try but ended up injuring my wrist during the process. I will not recommend this to anyone else, and I will surely not take this course again. The mannequins should be checked weekly at least for proper use so that they’re functioning properly.

It was quick painless informational and a great reminder. The teacher was exceptional the videos werent annoying or boring and over all the class went super fast. I was shocked when we got a break because I hadnt thought of the time yet and I always do. I received a 100% and was out the door in no time. I have been using STS for my BLS CPR renewal every 2 years for probably the last 20+ years. I used to go to their location in San Fran and then took classes at their Dublin location a few times. I was happy to find they have a location in San Ramon, but was skeptical and unsure how the VAM training would be. Thankfully, it was so helpful and gave me a better sense of what my skill level is and it was better training to be prepared for a real CPR emergency.

I went to Morgan Hill Location to do my skills part for my CPR renewal, First off, Classroom is well equipped with necessary items to use for the skill practice, the location has ample amount of parking space, the room is very clean and has a nice ambiance to it, the set up of equipment are very accessible and logging in to start is super easy as well! This is a very good concept in doing the skills part and I must say it really refreshed my skills in CPR! It is hard work for me since my last renewal was over 4yrs ago (in person with other students) and since then I have not been practicing my profession and I just started to work again so its time to get my CPR cert and first time to do it with the mannequin! I must say mannequin is really on point and accurate as you do the training, deducts points so you are sure that when you passed its because you did it correctly and that you worked hard on doing it the right way! Its hard at first (took me around 45mins bec. I had super hard time on giving rescue breaths!lol :) but I must say its SUPER WORTH IT! I enjoyed the experience plus the peace of mind practicing by myself not worrying about safety esp during this covid times. Overall, I highly recommend this platform in renewing and/or getting new CPR certification.

Apprehensive for months knowing I would be alone in a room with a few manicins and a computer. However, I was surprisingly pleased with the experience. I did take BLS & ACLS back to back not knowing what was expected of me. I thought ACLS would put me through various rhythms & codes, but it was just SKILLS testing of CPR for both BLS & ACLS, because the knowledge test was already accessed online. My shoulders, chest & triceps were sore for three days following the skills test. Thank God I ate breakfast prior to the skills test. However, I was dehydrated because I forgot to bring water. Great work out for sure!!!

There needs to be a disclaimer. The classes registration is difficult to complete. Or even figure out how to register.Second disclaimer is that it is difficult to complete the course on your phone as you are unable to see all of the answers or your score.Third disclaimer should be that as this is a new method of testing for these courses it may take some time to adjust to having a digital teacher so be prepared for some frustration and for the need to practice multiple times.Fourth disclaimer it should be made clear that you may practice as many times as needed to pass.If these parameter were in place it might have made the experience less frustrating.It was an extremely stressful course as parameters were not in place. Even after having been a practicing RN of many years with multiple code experiences this experience made it a difficult renewal.With COVID restrictions the no contact, no gathering, no assembly is understandable and it probably saves a lot of money but it is frustrating when important points are not explained.Received two email there were no instructions on how to register and no link to register. I had to call in person to get this done.

Safety Training Seminars was very easy to register for and take both online and in person course. Staff answers right away and helps with any concerns. I liked that we could watch the online videos from the comfort of out own home before going poop into the site and performing hands on cpr training. The location was very clean and logging into the computer to meet your virtual instructor is very easy, however Skype was glitching a lot and was hard to listen to the instructor and camera time was lagging. Luckily there are other cameras in the room and we were able to finish the training. Another issue I encountered was not being able to unlock the foot via code sent to me, but a staff member answered the phone right away snd helped me to the lockbox to get keys she open the door. Despite these two hiccups, I would recommend Safety Training Seminars to anyone I know and I was very happy with service and training.

In general, a great experience. The place was clean, neat and organized. I was a bit frustrated with both the compressions and ventilations. The system keeps on telling me how to improve my technique. While doing ventilations, i realized that if the head was slightly turned even 1 or 2 degrees to the sides, the air would not go through (no chest rised). Another thing, it will be helpful for some of us bith big hands to have XL gloves available. I went through 3 pairs of L globes due to ripping while doing compressions. And Im sure must people know, trying to done gloves on sweating hands is difficult, specially if theyre a size smaller. Overall, it was a great experience. You guys are doing a great job! Thanks

The change in the second part of the recertification is less stressful, but having a person next to you during the exam is very comforting. Something to get used to since this will be the new norm. This was NOT a good experience. It was awful. It was painful and frustrating. The mannequins and equipment were not functioning properly, I could not get the breaths to go in, and there was NO instructor there for about 45 minutes while I gruesomely had to re-do my hands on training Over and over and over and over and over again. (The only way to actually get the breaths to go in was for me to forcefully apply pressure over the mannequin’s face, which is not at all a lifelike scenario). I was so frustrated and exhausted and exasperated and there was not one other human in the room to assist. This model of training is horrible and I hope I never have to do it again.
