I was nervous about the voice assisted mannequin skills testing but after taking the class with Safety Trainers Seminar this it new favorite method. The facility was clean and the instructions provided to access my course were excellent! I’d recommend taking a class here.

The instructions were very clear. The set up was good as it had enough space for the 2 people in 1 room. The maniquin that connected to the laptop was impressive and the instructions again were really good and clear. I liked it a lot! The only thing is the mask they provided, the balloon was a little deflated. Just need to make sure that they’re in good shape for every person that has an appt for that day otherwise it will cause delay.

I would have really liked to give this place 5 stars. The idea is really good. However, when I arrived (this is specifically for the Hayward location) the room smelled bad, almost like someone had been smoking in there. Secondly, one of the mannequin’s head was detached. So I called for assistance, this was the worst part. As the person I spoke to was extremely rude. Wish I had gotten her name.I also booked the class the night before for a 12 pm start, and didn’t receive the login information until 10 am the next morning (which must be completed prior to the skills portion). Which meant I had to pay an additional $30 to reschedule the class. If you can’t receive the class sooner, perhaps consider not letting people book the class at 12.Pros: it’s convenient and you get real time feedback in compressions and ventilations

Overall the staff was helpful in extending my time. The mannequin/simulator device was a bit difficult to operate using the ventilation equipment. The modules on the computer were helpful in giving instructions. The test took longer than expected because the difficulties I had with conducting the 2-person simulated test. Otherwise I would give higher rating like 5 Stars

This is the second renewal I have done through BayAreaCPR, and I absolutely love them. The process is super simple and quick— I booked a Monday appointment the previous Friday and was able to get through the online material in about an hour. The in-person section only took about 20 minutes. I appreciate the fact that everything is self-paced.

I registered for a BLS Renewal certificate. In the beginning, I was worried about how the skills part of the test would be given, as I wanted one that’s led by an instructor. But my expectations were exceeded and my fear was forgotten! The manikin-computer set-up was awesome! Signing for the class was easy. I got the link for the online class quick. The online theory part was easy to navigate because it’s receptive to your own level of knowledge so it adjusts the info it gives you, making it quicker to complete. I received an email from them 2-3 days before my actual skills test to remind me about my scheduled test, it has very thorough instructions on how to get inside the venue; it also advises you to review to videos. The test venue was easy to get to, there’s a parking lot across the street, for free! Then inside the test room, everything was set up really well! It’s clean, it’s well-equipped. There are info posters on the walls for tips/advice. The computer becomes operable when it’s your actual test time as scheduled. You can preview the videos and repeat. The immediate feedback provided by the computer was very helpful! My skills test was done in less than 30 mins, and I passed!

Overall its an easy process if you read all content sent in the email. My one criticism is that the manikins sensors seemed broken. I had to chance computers in the middle. Overall easy and fun!

I took the blended course for my BLS renewal. The online portion was designed to be interactive and was very user friendly. I was able to complete that within 2 hours. The skills portion was also very straightforward with computer prompts and feedback simplifying the testing process. Even though there was no instructor present, the testing center had helpful tips posted on the wall to help pass the skills portion of the test. Highly recommend this course.

This was my first time doing the in person training session with no instructor. I wasnt sure what to expect. Everything you need was in the room with easy instructions on the walls to follow. It was pretty straight forward, follow the prompts on the computer. The computer evaluates your performance and gives you feedback. I will be coming back when i need to renewal again.

When I got to the part of two(2) rescuers it was difficult as the computer was asking me to do it over and over again. But with the help of the staff member that i called on phone through the phone number posted on the door for help. I was put through, it was really helpful and I get to see that its not difficult. I just have to listen to the instructions very well. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate. You made my BLS renewal easy.

I had to complete an initial CPR and lead poisoning class for my daycare. There were many dates and times available for me to pick from. I received my documents within the time frame they told me I would.Suggestions: please put back the pads in the AED so individuals can visually practice with them. I had to walk through the steps without a visual aid. Also I paid $ for a mask keychain when I did not need to. All I had to do was complete a survey and I got one for free. Overall great experience though.

First time doing training via Zoom but it was easy to follow. There was another person in the small room also and I wasnt sure if the training was done one at a time, so I stepped out initially. Luckily, the other trainee called me to come back.

The online course was very extensive and informative, the in class performance test was a simple task with instructional pre-video as a guide . Im glad I was able to complete my CPR training my only regret Is wish, I would have taken a photo next to the training mannequin to show my wife and son .

I have used safety training seminars in the past and recommend very highly and will continue to do. However, there is somethings that was not consistent as instructed at the time of registration. Like same day email if registered before 4pm with instructions for online portion of the certification. I received after 2 days after 2 phone calls. Secondly at Ast Hayward very difficult to open lock box was denied in the building unless I have collected key from lock box. Lastly why charging $10 cancelation fee this should be optional given that fee does not qualify for employer reimbursement.

I needed to renew my ACLS/BLS and this was my second time around using Safety Training Seminars. Just like before, they make things quick and easy. Take the test online, then go in for your skills. For the first timers looking into this training program, it might seem sketchy at first because yes, you are going to a location in a building with a lockbox to open yourself and you will be on your own, but its ok. They make it super easy to follow the directions and you can always call if you need help. For all my introverts, this class is for you!

This was perfect I did not have to sit in a class a whole day for my ACLS.organized. Lock box had keys. That’s what I loved. I did my skills ( a few attempts) then walked out, with a pass.Thank you for keeping it short simple and to the point. I was able to go back to work once completed without losing my work hours. Placed the key back in lock box. Done and dusted! Aaand recieved my ecard within the hour. Much appreciated!

Although there was no live instructor during the skills portion, I felt like the computer was very efficient in telling me what I’m doing wrong and how to fix it in a timely manner. Its in a driving school building which can throw you off at first. But the instruction for entering the building scared me because it seemed like I would be the only one in the building, but there is someone at the front desk. The overall experience wasnt that bad. I for sure can tell you even though there isnt a instructor you really have to be on point. I was having problem with the mask at first but the test allow you go keep going until you get it right. I am just glad I got my BLS certificate.

I am grateful I received my CPR. The process was not the greatest due to the fact Im learning technology this process can be a little easier for some of us. The locks to enter the building need instructions on how to open it and lock it. I am Thankful someone from the driving school. Was there to assist me which is not their place to do. The ladies just was very nice.

Very nice place. There was no pressure to be perfect at all. Once I was confident I was able to take my time,focus,and retake as many times needed. Why didnt someone think of this concept before. I enjoyed to automated guided course that was interactive.I would highly recommend taking your safety courses here.

The process was really easy I did my online assessment course was about 1 hr and 45 mins and the skills test was taken in a room by myself with the computer telling me what to do. Very convenient and easy I loved it. I was renewing my BLS and this process was made easy definitely will come back with them next time I have to renew!

While I was skeptical after hearing no instructor would be present everything went quite smooth! I was by myself in the room, with the mannequins and listening to the computer prompts. They had all the disinfection supplies and gloves for the end. My advice is to watch all the instruction & parking videos that come in the email, makes it convenient!Great experience. Will do again.

This was a very convenient and easy course to take (I’d say this bc I’m a health care provider) but taking online course vs in person class made it much more convenient. Less distractions and in the comfort of your own home. Skills test was good, directions and constructive criticism were clear, especially from the VAM. The computer screen waveforms that tell you the depth of compressions and volume of breaths were helpful. This was first time doing this course and I can say I’ll likely do it again 2 years from now! Thank you!

Quick, easy and effective. Clearly showed if I was compressing too deep or too fast along with over ventilating or under ventilating. The pre test assignment helped show me what things I knew confidently in or things I needed more work on. Easy for me to review and go over as many times prior to skills check. During the skills training I could repeat a section I felt I was deficient in until I felt my skills were adequate. Took as much time as I needed. All of this could be completed in a 1-2 days of work/studying, depending on your own personal level of competency. I was hesitant on the no staff member and computer/mannequin skills check, but it was alot better than expected. Highly recommend. Over all time spent about 1.5 hours on pre test, actual skills check I finished in 15 mins but did an extra 10-15min just to continue practicing for my own self benefit/knowledge to hone my skills.

No one was there to help me when I arrived at the location. The only woman who was there said she was not affiliated with the CPR training business. There was no instructions on how to get started. It was definitely confusing. Once I finally got logged in, I had to redo the test several times even though I was doing it correctly because it is computer monitored. It was very frustrating.

To be honest, who wanna spend 16 hours in the traditional training place???For busy nurses or students need to get your CPR/ ACLS certification please COME HERE!!! The online self study module is great. I can work on it anytime until I complete it. Then spend less than 15 minutes to complete my skill test. Maximum I spend 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete my ACLS training and got my certification.This is amazing place that save your time but it give you an adequate knowledge!!! Totally recommend it.

I chose to do my BLS/CPR class with Safety Training here in Hayward because it was conveniently close from where I live. I would normally renew my license with a live class, but this time I gave online class a try. It was the best experience…. the lecture online was well put, easy to understand and remember. The skills test was something one will not forget… now I know for sure I will be able to save a life… I would recommend Safety Training to anyone.Customer Service were all very friendly. Loved the option of taking the 2 hour course online at home at my convenience. I didn’t have to finish the course all at once and could stop and return to it anytime. The in-person basic skills was efficient and fast. I was dreading it cause I wasn’t sure if the equipment was going to work properly but everything worked and it was very organized. The VAM was easy to use! Being a healthcare provider, I was never looking forward to renewing my cpr every 2 years because of the time, scheduling, etc. Having the new option of it being online and the basic skills in person with a computer works well for me. Looking forward to doing it again in 2 years and not gonna dread it this time!

This was a little confusing because it was the first time I did a cpr class without having someone else there with me. Luckily someone was in the building to let me in at least. The whole hands on portion was computer generated and you have to go into the classroom yourself using a code. However, the skills portion was pretty easy to follow along as long as you watch the videos as you go. The manikin feedback is pretty cool. If you’re not tech savvy then I recommend taking the class that offers an actual instructor. Otherwise this is a quick alternative.

Pretty good experience with this BLS class. Youre in a private room, one on one with the mannequins and the computer. Do not be fooled by the fact that part of this class is held online - I worked up a real sweat and experienced moments of frustration trying to pass this class. Its seriously hands on lol. Please take note that while the address itself it easy to find, the entry instructions are confusing and misleading. There is no signage outside to indicate that this is the Safetg Training location, nor is there a lockbox outside as the instructions stated there would be, and entry is a pain in the rear because there is no bell to ring. You basically have to wait in front of the door and hope that the Driving School receptionist sees you and will let you in. Also, when I asked her if this was the location for the BLS class, she said huh, whats that? 😳Other than the entry issues, I do recommend this course to others. I paid $120 total and had my CPR/BLS certificate that same afternoon.

I did a hybrid BLS Training at the Hayward location at the beginning of 2022 and just recently went back for my ACLS Training. I will absolutely be going back for the PALS training. Its a fun learning experience to do cpr in a voice command mannequin.Its been a while since the last time i did cpr. I was at the edge of giving up when I couldnt pass the 2 rescuer cpr part, I just had to keep it to myself that think of it that there is no screen to look at and its a real human being i am doing cpr with . That kept me going and passed. And plus you will figure it out how will it be more comfortable or best way to do right cpr.Thank you for the great experience!
