I have a ton of sports equipment, camping gear, tools, and seasonal items that I need to store and access easily, while keeping the space in my garage neat and usable. I have tried using store bought shelves, cabinets, bins, and hooks, but they either took up too much floor space, were too flimsy, or looked messy and cluttered. I ordered (2) 3x8’ and (1) 2x8’overhead garage storage racks, (2) wall-mounted shelves, and (1) fold-out work table to help get my stuff off the ground and clear up space. With just a little help from a neighbor, they were easy they were to install and did the trick. They came with all the hardware and instructions I needed, and they fit perfectly in my garage ceiling. With a 600lb capacity per rack, I am able to store heavy items out of my way with ease.The best part about SafeRacks is how much space they freed up in my garage. I was able to store all my bulky and rarely used items on the overhead racks, and still have plenty of room to park my car, work on projects, and still have room for my son to hit baseballs off a tee year-round. I also added some wall shelves and hooks to organize my tools, bikes, and golf bags. My garage looks neat, tidy, and spacious, and I can easily find and access anything I need. Very well made product. And an amazing installation partner in our area of Northern Virginia. We couldnt be happier with the purchase and purpose of our overhead racks. Customer service was ON POINT as we had to call for a smaller frame set due to my error in spacing placement in my own garage. BUT, the installer worked with us, told me what to ask for, and came out twice at no charge. Maybe thats not normal and he was just a great guy, but he got a big tip!

I would not recommend purchasing any products or having any products serviced for installation by this company. Earlier this year I was looking for options for overhead storage, and I came across SafeRacks. I looked at the website to view the different options for overhead storage.I wasnt sure which overhead storage options would be beneficial for my garage space so, I made a call to the SafeRacks customer service to inquire. I asked the service rep could someone come to my home look to at my garage and provide recommendations for which overhead storage would be the best option to maximize storage space in my garage. The SafeRacks customer service rep responded telling me that that is not a service they provide. Any company providing a install service should have the someone come out first recommend whats needed, purchase based on the recommendation, so that there arent no mishaps, but I digress.After the call I proceeded and ordered a 4 x 8 overhead storage rack in the hammertone colorway. Because SafeRacks does not do consulation prior to installation, I was Hoping that the rack I ordered would be the right size for the space I was looking to put it in. After ordering, I scheduled my appointment to have a SafeRack installer come out to install the rack.When my racks arrived I swiftly put them in my garage. About a few days to a week later the installer came to my home to install. When the installer arrived I directed him to the box of racks I purchased and he began to work to install my racks.About a half-hour into the installation the installer asks me if any other boxes came with the order because, its missing the rails / brackets in hammertone colorway.I told him NO this was the only box that came, no other boxes just this one. While the installer was present, I got on the phone to contact SafeRack customer service. I told them the installer is here to install the racks and what I ordered is missing the rails / brackets.... I was told to take pictures and to send it in for review. The SafeRack customer service rep said they would send out the rails / brackets that were missing and it should arrive in about a week or so. Annoyed, I asked well what am I supposed to do now because the installer is here and I dont want to be charged again for having someone come out to finish the installation.The installer recommended that he could finish the installation in the white colorway and when the rails / brackets for the hammertone colorway arrived he would could come back out to exchange it. I said ok and confirmed with he service rep. The installer finished installing my racks mixing white pieces with hammertone color rails / brackets I received. While doing the install the installer recommended and installed two white 24 x 48 wall shelves. I asked the installer if he had the wall shelves in the hammertone color because I wanted the color of all of my racks and shelves to be the same color. He told me NO and proceeded with the installation.A few weeks go by and I receive my rails / brackets in the hammertone color. I called the installer to come out and change out the white to the hammertone color I initially ordered. When the installer opened the box the rails / brackets were noticiably the wrong size from the white rails currently installed!!! Furious at this point I immediately called and emailed SafeRack customer service of the mishap with my order. To date I have decided to keep in the white because removing and adding new holes to the wall etc would probably cause another issue, and I still have mismatched rails / brackets because they only have one installer available to do the installation. The installer will not be available to finish my job until mid January of 2024.

Very happy with our purchases. We purchased 2 sets of 8x2 (16 total) ceiling mounted storage racks. We were so pleased with the volume of goods the racks held that we ordered another 40 of the wall mounted shelves (4x2 sections). It enabled us to vacate our storage unit - saving is more than $300 over a year of storage rental!Great value, efficient, professional installation. I highly recommend! 🍀 sw

I couldnt be happier with my SafeRacks experience. Im in South OC and happened to see their company van so I spoke with the driver-installer Jacob (who couldnt have been nicer), and set up an appointment for him to come survey my 3 car garage. We came up with a plan for four 4x8 racks to be installed by him a few days later.Installation went smooth as butter. Three of the racks went over each it the garage doors and Jacob offered to relocate my ceiling mounted bike hooks to make room for the 4th rack.In case youre wondering, each 4x8 rack can hold up to eight of those 27 gallon black with yellow top containers that Costco sells for about $9. And double that amount if you have the height to double stack them (like I do with my 4th rack).My only point of contact was with Jacob, who was very personable and professional. He even offered to make a height adjustment on that 4th rack if needed at a later time.My only regret is that I didnt get them much sooner. The racks have also inspired me to purge a lot of stuff in my garage that I havent used in ages. Ask for Jacob!

Love how solid and how nice this rack looks and how strong and solid it is! It can hold 500+ lbs per rack which is amazing!!! We could only go down 2ft due to doors and all but it was still perfect!

My SafeRacks installer was fantastic! Punctual, offered great suggestions, gave me some wonderful upgrade options, fast, professional and funny. The installation price was very reasonable and well worth the money. Also, the product is a game-changer both for my garage and my Christmas decor addiction.

Boy do they have their act together. The installer was fast, efficient, and really knew what he was doing. A great install even though the arrangement of the wood in the ceiling made it a bit unusual. Everything was done by smartphone, from acknowledging the contract before the job to paying after. Just a fantastic experience and I’m looking for an excuse to do business with them again.

I’m a second time user of safe racks (last purchase in previous home over 9yrs ago). I simply loved these overhead racks as they fill a need (more space) without sacrificing floor or wall space inside a garage. The installers have always been professional and thorough without any issues. I definitely recommend their overhead racks!

We installed Safe Racks and what a difference it has made. We ordered direct from them and their installer Jacob in OC installed 5 racks in the garage. The ordering and scheduling process was quick and easy and everyone I dealt with was so nice.We used to store stuff in the attic which is a huge pain to get up and down and is hot and dusty. Getting holiday decorations or camping gear down is now super easy and everything is visible. The hooks on the side are a must to keep wetsuits and kids sports gear off the floor. We might even park the car in the garage what a concept haha!Highly highly recommended, thank you Safe Racks team!
