The star of the show was definitely the burger. It was juicy. The grilled onions were nicely caramelized and as a person who hates pickles theirs are pretty good(asked for pickles on the side to try) the only thing is they don’t offer yellow peppers sadly but we took our own. I wasn’t a fan of the tots unfortunately but the fries are generously seasoned and recommend fries over tots. Last but not least the brew, I drink drew to drink but never found one that I truly loved and may I say the buenaveza is smooth.

IG @safehausmv They have live music a couple times a month, and DJs. They are not “fancy” like BJ’s, but absolutely spot on with being a local flavor gastropub. A hidden gem…but it’s packed on Saturday nights!

I can see why they are known for their wings! Big and juicy with all the tasty flavors. Nashville hot chicken sando was great as well.Moving from the kitchen counter over to the separate bar.. they have a great selection of taps w/something to please all palates.Everything is decently priced for the portion served up and digs with a pretty laid back vibe.

I found this place by accident I didnt even know it was there, but Im glad I found it. The atmosphere was the first thing I noticed games to play with friends the bar with so many options. What made my experience great was the attentiveness of the staff and the food was Amazing. One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Hands down the best burger in Moreno Valley (aka)Moval. I really enjoyed myself and my family we will be back to try everything om the menu. Again all the food was very delicious the flavors you wont forget. New favorite spot, love the different beers from different breweries with Information on the beers 🍻

The Bulgogi Fries are a must try!! Absolutely delicious! The beer flight was awesome, because I do enjoy sampling several different beers. Im so glad we tried this place while visiting Moreno Valley. 🤘🏻Do be aware you must find a free seat, then go to the corner to order food, and then to the bar to order your drinks on separate bills...And Luvie Lo at the register for food was quite rude and therefore didnt get a tip.. sorrynotsorry?🤷🏼‍♀️Nancy was awesome - I wish she was our actual server!

Went here for the tots. They have really good tots! I was hoping for a microbrewery (that’s what I searched for) but instead landed in a tap house. No worries. I enjoyed a local brew and got a SOLID burger with TOTS. The beertender was very nice and we chatted some. If I was local I’d certainly come back. M-F happy hour beer discount (3-6p I think). Only ding in my opinion is its lack of aesthetic both inside and out.

I used to work here back in 2020, and Ive since moved to LA. Whenever Im back in Moreno Valley, I make an appointment to come here. The staff is always super friendly. And the food quality has never gone down. Everything on the menu is amazing, but I love the bulgogi fries, haus tots, garlic parm fries, and the grilled chicken sandwich. They have an awesome selection of craft beers as well.

Great wings and selection of beers, however a bit overpriced. Garage brewery doesnt charge as much for its local brew and neither does surrounding restaurants. Wings were excellent, however they could have use a fresh side of bread and the norms of carrots and celery were absent. Burger was over seasoned and buns were cold. Buffalo fries came out mediocre and didnt meet the expectations of the 12 dollar price. I would definitely come back just to enjoy the meaty wings, nevertheless for a better price try and get here in time to enjoy a better happy hour price.

Went with just a buddy so review will be for a small party.Greeted immediately once we entered and ordered a set of wings. They came in pretty fast and the price wasnt too bad for splitting. The wings are a pretty good size and taste really good! Played a couple of board games (though I wish they had more variety) and headed to bar.Space is easy to walk through. Bartenders were very informative and guided us through some beers to taste. Overall, selection was good and their knowledge of beers was great. They hold good conversations too while they serve and are just generally friendly.Good space to hangout, definitely would encourage others to try it out.

This is a hidden gem with a big selection of crafted beers and a selection of foods. The fries are amazing and theyll pair with almost any beer you select and if youre not a beer drinker they also have a soda selection as well. This is place youll go to watch the game with TV on every wall. Its a kid friendly place with board games and a giant Jenga.

Nice atmosphere, As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the girls behind the bar. Im not a big beer drinker, But i actually found one that i liked. Also the food is delicious I had the garlic Parmesan wings & garlic parmesan fries. My boyfriend had the cheeseburger and loaded tator tots. We had no complaints at all with this place. You can sit enjoy a game or jenga, & other games. Very clean over all great atmosphere.

This food review is for October 28th at night I decided to dine in with my date and show him something new to IE. I was excited about this new gastropub in townI kept counting down to the days I would open and the grand opening. Its the closest thing to a more adult setting and with a downtown city feel. I have been doing this establishment for many months and I kept my eye on the grand opening and development of this restaurant through social media.it was an empty night but it wasnt quiet the music at the bar was quite loud and the TVs were all on displaying different HBO action movies...My date and I ordered and we talked with the cashier who recommended the right sizing portion for us when ordering Thai wings. He put emphasis on how large they were so then we settled on if were hungry well order more. When the food came to us we realized we actually didnt need anymore. My date was pleased with the IPA selection.They had decorated the restaurant for Halloween that was a nice touch.Theres a mural on the bathroom wall near by the bar painted by local artist. I felt this piece was quite rushed as you get farther away from the bathroom and bar area theres less detailing in the art.I couldnt quite sense what vibe this place was giving off but I could tell it was meant for parents who were just in the area or young adults looking for a place to go other than Downtown Riverside. With all the glitz and glamor for some reason it didnt fit my fancy. I did however enjoy my dining experience and the waiter, the guy who was our cashier, did anticipate our needs. I found the purse hook underneath the tables neat and the industrial look of the place over all aesthetically pleasing.When I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich I was hoping for something actually spicy and the cashier was quite blunt with me and saying that it was more vinegar spicy and not actually packing heat. Needless to say I didnt eat much of it. But now wherever I go those Thai wings are in the back of my mind and I want it again! Yummy. Spicy, sweet, rich carmelized sauce. How lovely.I would definitely recommend this place to young adults and older adults looking for something other than BJs brewery in the area something with nice drinks good ambience, something refreshing and new.

So excited to have a place like Safe Haus in Moreno Valley. Its a little tucked away and the signage is hard to see from the freeway, but its definitely a place to go for some great tasting craft beer. When it comes to craft beer, Im a stout kinda person. With that being said, you MUST try the Cyclops Coconut Stout; DELICIOUS!Safe Haus also has a food kitchen, so you can enjoy delectable eats while you drink your delicious craft beer. There are board games and Big Jenga available throughout the place as well. Enjoy your beer and food and play some games with your friends.Highly recommended

The place is hidden in a shopping center that could probably use some work but has plenty of parking. Once you get inside, its very well maintained and has awesome a.c. The food is a little pricey but it was pretty good. They also have games you can play while you eat as well as tv monitors for sporting events. Overall this place is nice and good to bring a date or friends to.

This was my husband and my first time here. My husband had his heart set to order the chicken and waffles but they were out of that. I had my heart set to order the pork belly bao and they were also out of that. We both had to go with our second choice. My husband got the burger and it was way over seasoned. It tasted like there was taco seasoning all over the meat. I got the Hawaiian pork sandwich, which was pretty good, just really messy. We also ordered the large pretzel appetizer, which came after the meal and not before the meal like it should have. It was expensive, but we may give this place another try to see if they can get it right.

I really like this place. However I was unhappy the chick serving beer helped herself with a tip. I was originally going to tip her a larger tip, but I saw that she helped herself with 15% . I always tip anywhere I eat out, however this really bothered me so much, I didnt want to tell her anything bc it was only less than $2.Sorry, but next time I visit the place, I will ask to remove the tip and in result NOT tip at all.

First visit since their soft open a few years ago. Good beer selection. The wings were solid. The garlic parmesan fries were excellent. LOTS of garlic - just how we like em. My only complaints were that I found a LONG brown hair in the wing seasoning; which would have been less gross had I noticed it before it was in my mouth. Second issue was a large group of VERY LOUD women, screaming at the Dodgers game. All in all we had fun and Ill probably return sooner than later.

This is THE place in Moreno Valley. Bulgogi fries, phenomenal, honestly a must-try! The chicken strips and Hawaiian sandwhich is also really good. Beer selection, great. It gets super busy on the weekends.You can even take family and kids here and there are a bunch of games you can play. The atmosphere was inviting. You order your food at a counter then sit at a bench type setting some chairs and tables. Also, have a bar on the opposite side. I came on a Saturday with live entertainment. It was great entertainment while we ate. We ordered a hot chicken sandwich. It was spicy but had me coming back for more. Very nice place. I ordered a classic cheeseburger with fries. The burger wasnt bad but the fries were excellent. I recommend ordering a flight if you want to taste four different beers and not have to pay full price for just one. I also recommend the chicken and waffles. I was also celebrating my birthday so they brought me out a slice of pineapple cake and ice cream. Both were excellent.

We decided to check out this brewery on Friday night. There was a good amount of people inside around 8. Bar seating was pretty much the only option unless we wanted to share one of the longer tables. We sat down and checked out the menu. There were three girls behind the counter chatting and pouring beer. After a few more minutes, another couple sat down and were instantly greeted by one of the girls that took their order. A bit frustrated, I asked my husband if he wanted to go order food (I could tell he was hangry), and I would wait to order our drinks. Shortly after, one of the girls came over and asked if the cup at the edge of the bar was ours, realizing that may have been why our order too some time. We were able to order food and drinks at the bar. The vibe was good from patrons and employees. Food came out fast and hit the spot. The variety of beer and cider was great. The service after the initial entrance was top-notch, very attentive to expressions and questions in conversation. This is by far one of my favorite places in MV.

Love the open laid back atmosphere here, bar tenders are really knowledgeable about what they have on tap and prices are good. It’s great to have a new bar and kitchen in this area as the BWW down the street is really run down and shanty, although it’s not in a more popular area as downtown, it’s location here suits it very well.

Found out about this place from a friend. One of the best hangouts Ive been to. Was greeted by Aaron who treated us kindly. He showed us some of his speciality crafts of beers and ciders. Just stopped in for their soft open. Honestly, so far this place is great! One of the owners walked us through their menu, talking both about the things that were good, but also the ways they were trying to get ready for the full open and were planning in the very near future. Everything sounded delicious, but we ended up ordering thai wings, the bolgogi fries, and a soft pretzel, just to get a nice range of tastes out of them.The fries were especially stand out. The perfectly seasoned meat, the egg on top, and fries that were just the right level of crispiness. The other dishes were almost as good...with the sweet spice of the thai wings being very tasty and the pretzel being just a really well cooked with a really nice beer based cheese to dip it in.I should also mention, seeing as how its a craft beer place, that I got their apple pie cider, which (going with the theme here) was really good.Ok, Ive gushed enough...we will definitely be back and will be trying out more of their menu.
