2023-04-12 06:21:33I recommend Sabio to individuals who want a quality job in programming and are willing to commit the necessary 66 hours of hands-on course work each week. It is necessary to learn a new skill in four months where competing candidates will have four-year degrees or 3-5 years of industry experience. This program is NOT for the faint of heart. You get what you put into it and I put my best effort into the program.I am a Sabio alumni that was able to secure a job within a month of graduating. I did have some prior experience with programming. I was very active in the program and took advantage of all the Sabio resources. I believe Sabio gave me the skills to obtain a quality, high paying job with full benefits in computer programming. My favorite part of the program is the SabioNation Slack channel. During cohort it is a great way to stay connected to your peers and also have a little fun. It is even better after you graduate and have access to all the alumni and career development tools. Getting a job is hard and having the support of your peers helps that process. I was very active in these channels and my first job offer was a direct result of working with an alumnus and getting a referral.Sabio’s production and senior instructors are very knowledgeable. They were very receptive to my questions and were always willing to commit the necessary time to help me with my coding issues. On occasion instructors would give conflicting instructions in production on the final product. Coming from the senior-level financial industry, this is par for the course. I saw it as an opportunity to learn programming conflict-resolution skills to communicate issues and solutions between instructors. If you WANT a job and you are WILLING to put in the WORK, I would recommend meeting with the admissions team to see if Sabio is the right fit for you. If you are willing and put in the effort, Sabio wants to help you find quality employment.

2023-01-27 21:28:10I came to Sabio with no knowledge of coding and software engineering and that changed very quickly. The program is VERY intense, but it is all worth it in the end. After 17 weeks in the program I had 3 job offers ranging from $110,000 to $145,000. All of the staff care about the students and go above and beyond to make sure that you will have the skills to land that job as a Software Engineer. I would recommend nothing less than Sabio to get you on the fast track to your career in tech.

2023-01-30 06:16:16Sabio changed my life!!I decided to quit my 11 year career to pursuit software development without having any experience in the field and the instructors are really helpful and the curriculum is perfect for all levels. the owners are really involved with the students and make sure that the provide you with the right tools to land your first tech job after graduation!

2023-01-27 21:02:25Ill skip to the part that everyone cares about: the results. I received six offers in the first month after graduating. I am currently working remote and my life is so much better. I have no degree and I was a construction worker before this with no tech experience.Pros:- Great hands on experience- Mentorship program is very affective- Working with a real startup and having real Agile experience- Great network of alumni- Very high post grad employment ratesCons- Quality of instructors vary, some are great and some are not so great and come off as burnt out or fed up- My way or the highway approachThings to note- I really like prerecorded lectures and practice problems. If you are not good at learning like this then you should practice. I think they were very relevant to the work environment- Keep your head down and code. Mind your business and treat this school like its your job- This is not easy. It is extremely fast paced so you need to dedicate lots of time to this course. If you put your head down and focus on code for these 17 weeks, your life will changeOver all, Sabio worked out extremely well for me. I paid them using VA benefits to get me job ready in 17 weeks and thats what they did. Who can complain about that? I have also seen dozens of alumni get hired from the network of thousands of alumni. Definitely do your research, read all reviews and talk to the staff, but I certainly recommend this course.

2023-06-09 21:37:38This coding bootcamp is an absolute scam to rip off veterans of their educational benefits. They will make you come into a shared rental space full of strangers and make you watch outdated and recorded videos. The instructors all have an attitude because they have a quota of how many students they need to see, so they will rush you. They will cut you from the program if they dont think you can gain employment to keep their numbers high, or will hire you to work as an instructor if you cant make it to scam the VA to pay them. DO NOT attend this place. I, like many others in my cohort, had to rely on outside sources to learn because the videos they recorded are outdated, and its just the head instructor trying to figure out how to code at the same time and a waste of everyones time.

2023-01-27 03:55:26SabioConIntroductionThey dont talk about special services for people with learning disabilities, for example extra time .InstructionsAre not always clear nor spelled correctly. ( I completely understand the process in them wanting you to figure things out on your own but when things arent clear and you spend more time on external learning videos, such as you tube, for more concise clarity.Bugs in excersisThere was a bug that I couldnt clear that I knew for a fact I had correct, but still didnt clear . The instructions vs the bugIf youre looking for a lectures, the instructors, this is definitely not the course for you, youll be watching videos all day long and the person youre going to be watching is Gregorio and he goes off on tangents and doesnt explain things clearly so its hard to follow. Which forces you to spend more time to get things completed.ProQue is really good, as long as you get a good instructor who picks up. I have had one who was just horrible, who didnt listen to my question and hung up on me twice . Very rude . But besides that the others were pretty awesome in explaining things .I did not graduate. I use an algorithm key for my walk of time and got dismissed from the program, and signed up for another program couple days later. Couldnt be more happier. The school Im in now is perfect for me. Its lecture based full-time and its amazing you actually have somebody there teaching you. Plus the class size is 22 people with two instructors from 8:30 to 2:30 full stack academy, if you guys are ever wondering. Sabios on some other level. I wouldnt recommend Sabio just for the fact of the errors I came across during the assessments, exercises, and the videos with Gregorio going off on tangents. There are some really good staff there that are knowledge there that kind of make up for the lack of instruction.

2023-01-29 20:15:32I cant say enough about how thankful I am for Sabio, their career counselors, instructors, and the knowledge they provided in jump-starting my career in tech. I was skeptical at first, but they will put as much into your future as you do. It is hard work, but as long as you show up and give it your all, anything is possible. I have a brand new career to show for it and so do many others I know.

2023-01-27 20:42:53Started learning here back in October, and while its been difficult I have learned software engineering. ReactJs, C# .NET, HTML, CSS, SQL. Not only has Sabio taught me how to program in these languages, theyve given me a foundation in which to build upon. If youre looking to learn programming and have been debating on attending a bootcamp, Sabio will not steer you wrong. They also have an awesome career services team that helped me tailor my resume and get me back on the market and as a career changer, thats pretty awesome. Its no joke, you will be challenged, you will be held to a high standard, and you will have strict guidelines placed upon you, but at the end you will learn to code.

2023-01-27 21:08:32During the pandemic, I needed to change careers to something that was fully remote. I had previous hardware tech experience, but no formal training in software programming.A friend suggested a coding boot-camp and I shopped around for one. I chose Sabio as they are among the highest rated by their graduates, and I fully understand why. The support from the staff and instructors was amazing. They had no other goal than for me to succeed. The training was tough - very tough. It was 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Mon - Fri, with six more hours on Saturday. It was exhausting, but worth it. After 17 weeks, I was skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, SQL, and C#. My Full Stack is SQL-dotNet-React.The training also included extensive Professional Development and interview preparation. If you are thinking of changing your career to tech like I did, Sabio is the school for you.

2023-01-05 02:26:35I enrolled in Sabios coding bootcamp program with the hope of gaining new skills and career prospects, but my experience with the program was extremely negative. Sabio used deceptive recruiting tactics, making promises about the quality of the program and support that would be provided, but these promises were not kept. When I brought my concerns to the attention of the CEO, Director of Academic Affairs, and co-founder, they did not address my issues and instead began to use retaliation and ostracizing methods against me.As a result of the stress and lack of support from Sabio, I was unable to focus on the training and had to drop out of the program. This has had a ripple effect on my life, as I moved to California to attend the program.I do not recommend Sabios program to anyone and believe that they are not a reputable or trustworthy organization. I am accusing them of violating the principles of excellence. In addition to the issues I have already mentioned, I also have concerns about Sabios lack of accommodations for students with disabilities. When I requested accommodations for my disability, Sabio did not have a program in place to provide them. Instead, they began creating requirements on the spot and were selective in which requirements they would support. This lack of support and understanding caused me a great deal of stress and made it even more difficult for me to succeed in the program.I strongly urge the VA to take my complaints about Sabio seriously and to consider revoking their eligibility for VET TEC benefits. The organizations deceptive recruiting tactics, lack of support, and lack of accommodations for students with disabilities have caused me and, I believe, many others a great deal of harm.
