I wish I could give a higher rate than 5 stars!!! Sakher was so honest and comminutive!! He gave me regular updates and pictures all along the way! My car was not a quick easy fix, it was a mess!!! I feel that even though my car had multiple problems he gave me discounts along the way. Him and his team will take care of you and make sure that you are happy with the outcome. They stand behind their work! I will definitely go back to him and highly recommend him to my friends!

I was first impressed when I called and was greeted by the owner Sam. He was available right away for me to schedule my appointment. When I dropped off my car, he was gracious enough to provide me a ride home at no charge, which is beyond most auto mechanics service. When he called to update me in the progress, he asked me to go there to see exactly where the issues on the vehicle were. He even sent me photos beforehand. After I approved the price, he stayed true to his word when he completed the job. The leak from the transmission is now resolved. He also performed an oil change and full diagnostic of the vehicle’s condition. What I appreciated most was his attention to detail and communication with me throughout the process, something rarely seen from owners of a mechanics shop. I just dropped off my second vehicle that needed smog repairs and Sam completed it with no issues. I am very pleased with this service. I highly recommend bringing your car here for any type of vehicle service- not just smog related issues. Royal Smog will have me as a loyal client from this point on! Appreciate you Sam and your staff!

Was in and out in just under 30 mins on a Monday morning. I called to see if appt was needed or walk-in—worker said either is fine and asked for my car make and model.When I first pulled up, looked busy with tons of cars in there—was short on time so went across to Vallejo Smog. Lady there was on phone for a long time, so I decided to go back out and check on royal smog to see if any cars cleared out of there. Worker there recognized my car from call description and motioned for me to pull in.Was nervous to pull in as there was a bunch of cars and people everywhere but he told me to park and he would take care of my car. Professional, friendly and smog inspection took little under 30 mins.I have a 2010 car, $79.99 for the smog and labor fees.Recommend!

Amazing experience with this company! Sakher was very helpful and communicative all throughout my process after my catalytic converter was stolen. Sakher walked me through and helped me deal with my insurance company; everything went very smooth. He was honest and got my car fixed in no time. I would definitely use their business again! They replaced my catalytic converter as well as my O2 sensors that were cut. Sakher was able to install the catalytic converter guard as well which is a big plus. Thank you guys for all the hard work!

Had to get Star smog test performed on my car and this establishment does this and are also a repair facility. My car passed the smog test. Also had them perform an oil and filter change too. Javier and Ricardo are top notch automotive technicians. Very professional. Shop is very clean.

I called Royal Smog at 8:30 am for a sunroof leak and they had me in the shop within an hour. We talked about the issue and they said give us 2 hours. Within that time period they called me with their prognosis and gave me what it would cost and asked for permission to proceed. And even said they could send me photos of the progress( I said not necessary. I had a good feeling for this place. ) They called very quickly and said they were done, explaining to me exactly what they did. When I arrived to pick my car up they verbally told me again what they did and gave me a written tabulation of what was performed. I was very impressed with this shop and highly recommend them for all your automotive needs; these guys rock!!

My car had a check engine light, I took it for diagnostic . they found out wire was cut they also did inspection all around and they did send me pic of all stuff that need repair and they mention whats important to do and what’s the stuff that can be hold, honest and great customer service, I’m happy with my repair . First of all I am at a loss for words for what the owner Sam is doing for me. I’ve had four heart attacks to eye surgeries, gallbladder surgery, and I almost lost my right leg on top of that I had quadruple bypass. I cannot handle stress this guy Sam is heaven sent and the reason why I was not even going to him. I was going somewhere else and he was standing there and he said hey did you guys need some help with something that turned into one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with the shop that I’ve never even known about this guy. Sam help me and my family where he didn’t even have to when I tell you God is good. Please believe God is good thank you Sam and your mechanics for keeping me stress-free, you are truly a blessing to the Robinson family

Called about a wiring diagnostic in the morning and was able to bring my car in that same day. When I got here, the man in charge knew exactly that I was the one that called. He was very kind and explained everything throughly. They found and fixed the problem quickly and effectively. Awesome workers and great customer service. I wanted to give them zero stars for the unprofessional staff that failed to meet my expectations. I had my vehicle towed in to have the catalytic converter replace (over$1000 job at least) and I’m expressing how I can’t spend over $1400 the guy is telling me I don’t tell him the rules and I’m like ok and I’ll go spend my money elsewhere because of you got that type of attitude I’m going to have problems. So happy I dodge this place

I recently bought a used car and brought it to Royal for a Smog Test. It obviously needed work.. They exceeded my expectations by far. I got a lot more than what we negotiated for service-wise. Wow, best service I have received from a shop in a very long time. I tried repairing something on my car myself (mistake I know) and didnt realize what I was getting into. I called and explained my problem and they took me in on short notice late afternoon yesterday. Sam told me what needed to be done and even showed what the plan was. They even gave me a courtesy ride to and from my house while the car was being worked on. Thanks for treating me like family, I really appreciate it! Excellent service all around, thanks so much!

They don’t give you a copy of the receipt of the parts they purchase nor do they give you receipt of their work. They did a sloppy job installing a fuel pump in our car. It was uneven and they did not attach the connection to the gas gauge. Just placed the lid of the fuel pump on top and did not seal it. Gasoline spilled when I drove it at a short distance after filling up the gas. Which made it dangerous for me to drive it home. Lots of hassle. I do not recommend anyone to take a risk.

I was one of the first reviews for this place. but I don’t see it anymore so I’m leaving another. They are honest. I’ve taken my Cadillac there for oil change and small maintenance in the past and now my other car I brought here they are much quicker than big box stores for oil change and they do smog and repair. One time I went there and they quoted me a little lower on accident due to a small mixup and even though they didn’t have to they still honored the lower price they gave me.

Well let me start off saying that I was in panic mode and these guys really eased that pain.😊 first, the guy that was in charge was very nice and professional and what he did was broke down what he was going to do to find the problem. Secondly, he gave me a price on how much it was going to cost and he found my part all the way in L.A. finally he fixed and smogged my truck and it passed. On top of that he knocked off 100 dollars just to help me out. What an awesome place and experience so I would fully recommend this place for repairs and smog. Go see for yourself my friends. Amazing experience I came in after speaking to I believe the owner on the phone he was aware of my issues and gave me a solid rough estimate took my car within the hour before they closed had my car in their care from Saturday to Monday txt me updates pictures and videos explaining to me what my car needed and any additional costs and then offered to drop my car off to me at work because I didnt get off in time to pick it up did a final follow up staff was super friendly and was straight up about prices and the real deal would highly recommend and will go back when problems arise awesome customer service and beautiful communication 5 stars !
