I live in Sacramento and drive all the way to Auburn to shop with this family owned jewelry shop! The customer service is always on point and the selection is stunning! The prices are beyond fair and I just keep coming back for more! I highly recommend them! Bravo Roper’s Jewelers!

Roper’s is simply the best! My mom and I wanted to design a set for my wedding and had talked with a couple of different jewelers and got a lot of weird push back on design ideas and sales pitches of in store product.Isaiah at Roper’s helped turn my vision into a reality and was patient, kind, creative and knowledgeable throughout the entire design process.I picked up my pieces today and am SO EXCITED to wear them at my wedding! I just gave my wife a gorgeous custom made ring from Ropers for our 15th anniversary, and she is beyond ecstatic! The jeweler really brought to life the intricate design i had in mind, which was far outside the typical ring styles one would find at a larger jeweler. The process was extremely pleasant, the staff beyond helpful and accommodating, and I am 100% pleased with the outcome. Laura was especially great, doing a lot of legwork in helping me flesh out the rings final look. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome, and with Ropers as a company!

It is too bad there is not an opportunity to give a sixth star for the service and care that Roper’s has once again tendered. I have been a customer for some time and will continue to be one so long as Peggy and staff render such quality work.I presented two older well worn rings for repair and cleaning. I am glad she took photographs of them because when I reclaimed them they appeared as if they were brand new and still in the shelf. First of all, buying an engagement ring online doesn’t seem to me, appropriate for the one ring to rule them all. I came to Roper’s as they’re a staple in the community and have been for decades. I didn’t want to leave such an important decision to a few clicks online so I came down to the longest tenured jeweler in town. I was greeted by Isaiah, who gave me a sense of calm amidst the exciting moment. He was professional from the start and walked me through every part of the decision making process with utmost patience and thorough explantation. I asked a lot of questions and after an hour and a half arrived at options for future review. I just left after making the purchase of a lifetime, feeling like I was absolutely taken care of and will be moving forward. Thanks Isaiah, thanks Roper’s!

The ladies are always so friendly and greet you the minute you walk in, Laura has helped me on two occasions and gone above and beyond to make sure things are clean and even found a loose stone ! I visited in late July with an extremely last minute request to get my husbands ring engraved before our wedding that weekend. My mom passed away about five years ago and left me her collection of jewelry. Recently I had started to wonder if any of her gold or gemstones could possibly have value, so I took several items to Ropers Jewelers for appraisal.Even though they were in incredibly busy with Christmas orders, they completed the appraisal in less than two days.Ropers provided an excellent written appraisal and discussed each item with me in great detail.I cannot commend the staff at Ropers highly enough, and I will also mention that while I was there, I noticed many exquisite pieces of jewelry for sale.Ropers is a gem in historic downtown Auburn!

My Wifes ring was in the Paradise Campfire., Along with a ring left to me by my Father. Both rings were recovered from the ashes of our hose in Magalia.Upon a recommendation from our very good friends, we took the rings to Ropers Jewelers in Auburn. The people there were outstanding in their compassion and professionalism. They restored my Wifes and Dads rings to a better condition then they were originally!I tried to pay them for this, but they refused to take any payment! My heartfelt and sincere Gratitude to these Wonderful people!I dont care were I end up living, I will always come back to these Wonderful people for any and all my familys jewelery needs!

Just wanted to get my wife’s wedding ring resized. Had to get a bigger center Diamond to get it done they said. Spent $1600 just to get that done and resized.. Over a week later the Diamond that was added was much smaller than I expected and they never even resized the ring and that was all I wanted done… Then they tell my wife they will get it done tomorrow… But when I call they say they would get it done today.. Was not happy with the process and the fact they didn’t resize the ring to begin with but they made it right in the end.

Everybody is super friendly. I took a diamond bracelet in to be repaired. I love the fact that they take a picture and count the diamonds to make sure this is what I will be picking up and what they are working on. And very reasonable. Thank you!

Scammers - My Mom had chemo brain and just passed away, found an antique gold bar w/receipt in the glove box of her car. I went to Ropers to return it with the receipt and they said STORE CREDIT only! Royce B (#36) was the salesperson, not hard selling to an old lady with chemo brain! She passed away exactly 31 days after the purchase and the manager said because its been over 30 days, not returnable. I would NEVER shop here, please warn your parents, this jeweler is preying on the elderly!!

Ridiculous prices. Quoted me over $800 to set a stone in my existing ring. They said I had a bunch of loose stones that needed to be fixed. I took it to my normal jeweler in Sacramento, there were NO loose stones and they set the stone (yes in 14K gold as just needed a new prong set) for $175. Also asked them to look at a few pieces (just check to see if they were 14K or 18K as the mark was not clear) and they wanted $35, would have took 7-10 days. I walked across he street to another jeweler how said sit down. They not only looked at them through the microscope, did the acid test but also did another test with a new software system. Took them 10 minutes and you guessed it..... they charged me NOTHING!!

I take my ring in every 3mo to get cleaned and make sure it doesnt need maintenance. Whenever I do need something completed, they always do what they can to get my ring back to me ASAP. Like this last time, they had a 2wk turnaround time. I told them Id really like it back for the 4th but the 2wk was passed then. He said he would try and they came through, getting it back to me after only 7 days! Everyone is so professional, kind, and knowledgeable!
