Great place for all of your car needs! Quick and efficient, this drive thru service cant be beat. A real family business, this shop is amazing. The employees are friendly and will answer any questions you have. If youre looking to get some car work done and be in and out, this is the place for you. My mom took her car to Rons for decades. She recommended Rons to me. I have taken my car to Rons for years.My neighbor took his car to Rons and sent his mother there.Rons is the type of old fashioned family business you rarely see any more. Waited 45 minutes for one of the mechanics to say because my car is a Northeastern car they pretty much won’t/don’t work on it and basically said to take my business elsewhere. He was extremely condescending obviously because I’m a young female. Talked down to me and said if something accidentally broke when he was fixing it he would have to be compensated for the time and work. Like no kidding……. I’m not here for a freebie I want my car to be properly looked at and fixed. Not turn my wheel and have my issue diagnosed that way while they sat around and ate doughnuts and chatted amongst each other… Sketchy. Money talks but in this case not here! Gladly took my business somewhere else where the person who CHOSE to be a mechanic didn’t complain about the POSSIBLE work he may had to do to my car. Which all that was needed was a power steering hose replaced… Lol huge joke, and obviously don’t recommend.

I have had problems with this business 4 times and never EVER got an apology.The 1st time they called me asking me to come back because one of the technician has forgot his flashlight by the engine.The 2nd time I was told the price will be $65 and charged $120 instead.The third time I was charged $4000 instead of $40 which I believe was an honest mistake and eventually got a refund, however, they don’t say sorry!The 4th time which will definitely be my last time, they put 500k miles on the sticker instead of 100k and of course I had to waste my time again and go back. I was concerned about them reporting it to carfax. The guy was so rude and unprofessional like I was the one who made the mistake! Again, I didn’t get any apology!I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!

Ive been coming here since I got my first car, and my Dad has been coming here for nearly 20 years. Rich and his crew are always very friendly, professional, honest, and crafty. Oil changes are faster and less expensive than other chain businesses, and they will always make sure you know exactly what your issues and options are with your car. Ive saved countless dollars and always know Im going to be presented with all options for repairs and never influenced to go with the more expensive option if it can be reasonably avoided. This is the worst oil change experience I have ever had. The person on the phone is extremely rude, they made me come back the next day 3 times. I came to get an oil leak checked. They “Fixed” it for $200 then it continued to leak anyway. When I tried to come back with a receipt, they put me off for 3 days. I had to get another mechanic to look at it and he informed me that they pulled my Oil Pressure Switch out of the socket, causing my leak to be more dangerous. Unless you are an old white male, DO NOT GO HERE.

I brought my F-150 work truck here to have it smogged. They were very honest and the owner was always around. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I actually felt so comfortable that I had them also do a tune up after they called me to tell me it was ready.I am going to bring my Expedition in in tomorrow to have the brakes done. I will definitely recommend Rons to my friends because it is hard to find honest mechanics.

There’s no reason to be grumpy and rude to customers especially when Ive done nothing but come in for an oil change. The manager was rude and treated me like I was worthless. I was trying to be friendly but he’d have nothing to do with it. At least a smile and hello can I help you. This place doesn’t need my business. I will go to Howard’s next time. They’re friendly and helpful. They take longer but at least I won’t leave feeling bad.

They really deserve 0 stars. But everyone here is rude and will basically ignore you if you are a POC. They don’t give complete true pricing. When examining my car, they “diagnosed” the problem. Then took about a week to get it “officially” fixed, which the oil was still leaking. Then after taking to new mechanic, they stated the parts were scraped and hand loose. Don’t go here, they will mess you car up even more than it already is and do everything to get more money.

Normally I would give this shop five stars, as theyve been really amazing in the past, they do good work, and are reasonably priced. But today I had to get my oil changed, and in the midst of some of the worst Covid-19 numbers California has seen, no one in the shop was wearing a mask. I dont feel safe giving them my business if this is the sort of callous disregard they have for their customers.

Been going here for the quick oil change service for years. Recently went in to have brakes checked. Heard metal on metal grinding coming from left front wheel/brakes. Their mechanic said they could not find anything wrong, the brakes were at 50/30 and was ok to drive for a few months more. Couple weeks later grinding got much worse. I ended up taking it to my dealers service. Had to pay over $900 for brake pads, rotors and caliper service. They showed me the damage that was caused by continuing to drive it while grinding. Apparently the Rons mechanic did not lift the vehicle to inspect the inside of the brake, or maybe just wasnt experienced enough to know what was going on. They are nice and all at Rons and all but gotta be careful what you bring your vehicle in for there.

They do more than oil changes. I have had them replace my brakes, thermostat, housing, water pump and a couple of hoses. All over the past year. Richard is very good about recommending things NOT be done. What I mean is he can give you a honest assessment if work should be done.

1 its literally across the street from me. 1st time going. Although under pandemic circumstances they were courteous and professional. I was really concerned for my engine light came on n i knew it could be serious as well requiring a oil change. Mechanics were professional as well as manager. Fast, friendly, professional and courteous services are offered here, which proved reasons for its popularity and existence. This has been the locals favorite for quite some times, and will be much longer. Went in for an oil change, out 15 minutes later, with all fluid levels checked, even filled the air for one of my tire without even being asked or requested. Little things like that really go a long way. Thats what separated this place from others..

One of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. Mechanic 100% lied to me about the issue with my vehicle, charged me for labor unfairly, and refused to answer any questions I had. A friend and I were driving along the freeway when our car started overheating and smoking. Pulled in here and he said that we didnt want to stay to help us. Got an oil change and the car worked fine, even though Richard said that wasnt the issue. Edgar was another mechanic there who was very nice and helpful however.

Introduced to them by my employer in the 90s and they have kept my old work vans going and been beyond belief honest, fair and accommodating. My new in 2004 work van now has 18+,000 miles on it and I plan on them keeping it going the rest of my work life. Straight up and realistic on what to expect. Weve been taking all of our vehicles there for over ten years; with ten vehicles and in ten+ years, theyve made one (1) minor mistake. Thats all. Not only did I pay $181.00 for a service that was NOT fixed I had the worse experience from the owner he was very unprofessional stated I was rude when I was simply being upset of the way he was speaking to me. Not once did I raise my voice or insulted him, but yet he said he had plenty of business so he did not need to fix my car. According to him the vehicle was fix due to what I told him was wrong...Im Not a mechanic i let him know what I see and PAID for the service BUT my vehicle is still over heating and he mentioned that he will not fix anything else Because I was on my phone while he was helping me. Also stated that he was not Going to fix my car because I was not a priority customer I should of been at the shop early and in was at the shop at 8:20am and they open at 8:00 called 3 times for an update and he tells me to call at 4:00 when they close at 5:00pm and I work and one hr away and leave my car keys at a pizza place ! Never will I go again and suggest that everyone thinks twice be for getting the car fixed at this shop.

SCAMMERS. I had oil changed here in 2008. Damaged my engine! As soon as I started the car I noticed my oil pressure was reading low. I had the tech and manager come over. He checked the dipstick and said Oh you have more than enough oil, youre OK. I drove on the highway I couldnt get over 30 MPH. I developed a huge leak and was towed to Firestone for repairs. Firestone confirmed Rons added too much oil and caused loss of compression. Talked to several people who fell for Rons scam. He gets your back there and says you need all this work.

Rich a total asshole.brought my truck in because it was running bad Ron acted like he didnt need to work on my vehicle because he had more cars to fix then he can handle and he didnt need my business.he did fix my truck after he called and sayed it was fixed only to have it towed back with in 20 minutes on the road.also beware we also found out things in are vehicle were stolen while it was being repaired two flashlights three garment bags and numerous other things while locked up over night in there shop.we called about missing items to see if maybe they have security cameras in the shop they said they did but believe or not they werent working that night whats the chances on that happening.richard is the owner but he is a total jerk he really needs to have more respect to his customers and learn the right way to deal with people.i hope I never have to take my truck their ever again.

These guys stripped my drain bolt--and in-turn stripped the oil-pan threads also. They tried to hide it/stop any leak by using a gasket sealent. When I had the time to change my own oil again--that was what I saw, rubber gaskets after taking out my drain bolt. Do yourself a favor, do it yourself! They didnt properly hand-tighten the bolt in first, they used air to ram it in.
