We just signed and notarized our Living Trust thru Atty. Ron Martins expertise. It was such a positive and painless experience. We used Ron for various estate planning items (revocable trust, power of attorney, etc) to help plan for our familys future needs. He made the process extremely simple and easy to understand, yet took the time necessary to explain specific important decisions we needed to make when drafting the documents. The whole experience was excellent, and I would recommend him to anyone.Update: we moved to a new home a year or so after we last worked with Ron, and Ron actually reminded us to put the new home in the name of the trust. We didn’t even think of that, but are so thankful he remembered for us! Better yet, he took care of all of it for us. Couldn’t be more thankful.

Mr. Martin, is very knowledgeable regarding living trusts and was upfront with all the reasons why having a trust is necessary and beneficial. He also informed us of the items to watch out for when creating a living trust. Mr. Martin was timely in generating our documents and handled the property transfer documents for us with the county. Mr. Martin took his time during our meetings and answered all of our questions easing any worries my wife and I had. The whole process was seamless and we will continue to recommend Mr. Martin to family and friends.

Paperwork, documents, and policies are usually very difficult to work with and a drag to complete. Ron Martin has helped make this experience a lot easier. He was very informative and made himself easily accessible and available. I appreciated all of the insight and help he provided and was glad that he was a one-stop shop for all of the things I needed to complete (which was to create a family trust).

I highly recommend Ron as your attorney. He is very knowledgeable and dependable. We were fortunate in finding Ron via the internet, he met my family and I at the hospital when my husband was terminally ill. A year later, he helped us complete the trust paperwork. Ron met with my family and I to help organize and communicate my wishes for the trust. He came to my home on several occasions, even during the pandemic.Most importantly, Ron followed up on all the paperwork until the end result was received. I had no clue what I was doing when I was looking for a trust attorney and was apprehensive about actually reaching out to anyone. I was sure I would get taken advantage of because of my ignorance. I was completely and pleasantly surprised by my experience with Ron. He called me right away (literally, 2 minutes after I clicked and submitted my request) and answered questions readily even before I told him I would hire him. After I told him I needed to consult with my family, he was gracious and did not push. When my family told me to go ahead and hire him, they were also very pleased after we all met in-person. Ron was helpful and patient in his explanations, some of which he had to give more than once because my parents struggled in some respects. He provided his services in a timely manner. Rons fees were also quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and would go back to him, if I ever need help again.

You can stop right here, you found what you need. You are no doubt looking like I was, in a sea of attorneys, knowing that most of them will disappoint you, are dishonest or will overcharge you till it hurts. I spent some time researching knowing that I had to make a choice and hoping that I would not make a bad one. When I found Ron, I really liked that he works from a home office because I know that these big law offices need to pay for their overhead which can be really expensive in California and of course they pass that cost on to you. Ron was very reasonably priced, likely from low overhead, and we love the fact that he comes to you. He prepared wills, power of attorney documents, estate and property transfers for my wife and I. Ron is really easy to work with and most importantly to me, Ron is very honest. I can say that, because he turned down an opportunity to fill out a Heggstad petitioning court document on my mother-in-law’s estate and make some pretty good money only because it was not his area of expertise. We found out the hard way, that it is a simple process but the law office, with a bunch of staff that overcharged us to do it, did a bad job and the court denied it wasting $2000 and a couple of months’ time. That office even charged for emails asking the outcome of proceedings that they failed to update us on, so you can see why I am writing this review now as it’s hard to find someone good, honest and reasonable.Anyway, you found the right person, now you need to know that you really do need this if you don’t have an estate planned already. My wife and I are in the middle of resolving her mom’s estate and had already resolved her grandfather’s estate 2 years ago. I really didn’t know much about estates before that. I thought it was something for people with mansions or a ton of money, but that is far from it. Both estates were set up well, but my mother-in-law had two homes and we failed to transfer her new home (she had it 2 years) to her estate and now we have to go through probate. One house could be sold or transferred within two months. The other, will have to go through probate for 9 months to a year and what most people don’t know, is that probate fees are four percent of the first $100,000 value of the estate (portion that is not in a trust), three percent of the next $100,000, two percent of the next $800,000, one percent of the next $9,000,000, and one-half percent of the next $15,000,000. In our case, fees will likely be close to $10,000 after all is said and done but more importantly, it can take 9 months to a year to resolve. Will your family have the means to pay the mortgage that long? We really did not want our kids or family to go through that if something happened, so therefore we found Ron and could not be happier with his services.
