If you are in search of a real estate agent in the Bay Area, look no further. Tim & Ryan are the best agents in town. We were first time home buyers and were pretty clueless in the process. Tim & Ryan held our hands and made this journey a stroll in the park. Right from shortlisting homes in the market on a daily basis, visiting open houses after sunset, placing multiple offers, to signing the deed, they were with us every step of the way. In the Bay Area where the market is cut throat, Tim & Ryan helped us navigate the market seamlessly through the different emotional stages and stress of buying a home. There were times when we wanted to submit bids far exceeding asking price when we got quite excited about some properties, however Tim & Ryan advised and helped placate those emotional bursts. And in hindsight, we made the right call.Working with Tim & Ryan was a very smooth and educational experience for us. Their knowledge of the different neighborhoods in and around South Bay, their pros/cons, helped us save a lot of time in sifting through the many houses we were initially interested in. They have been quite patient with us, and were very responsive and helpful for any questions we had, and they still are, even after 2 months.We wish them good luck in their future endeavors and are excited to see their business grow. We are lucky we found Tim & Ryan as our real estate gurus and happy to call them family now.PS: Even when you want to compromise on certain aesthetic aspects or remodeling ideas, they would not let you :-) It is not easy to get a Tim & Ryan stamp of approval for a house; it needs to be earned. They have laudable spatial reasoning skills. They are able to quickly whip up practical and contemporary remodeling idea, and also cater to minimalist designs: you might sometimes wonder if you have hired an interior designer also.

I am so glad I found Ryan and his business partner Tim. As someone trying to sell CA real estate while residing outside of California, I was amazed by how easy they made the process. Tim & Ryan have an extensive network of contractors, and recommended a number of critical updates in order to attract the maximum number of interested buyers. It was such a delight working with Ryan and Tim (we worked mostly with Ryan). TLDR, you should definitely go with Tim&Ryan if:1. You need a lot of assistance in the process or2. You want to remodel the house (before you sell or after you buy) or3. You like to work with someone who can give you peace of mind or4. You want good return on investment.but TBH, I dont think you can go wrong with them.Full story:This is our first ever home purchase so we were very cautious. After interviewing about 6 agents, we decided to go with Tim&Ryan because they are more responsive and have deeper local knowledge in the area where we want to purchase our first home. More importantly, we were willing to spend the time and effort to remodel and they have lots of resources and experience in remodeling.During the shopping process, Ryan provided guidance every step of the way. He gave us contacts, sent us potentially interesting properties, toured the properties with us and gave us tons of good remodeling ideas. Sometimes we would send properties to them and they would give us their take. When it came to making offers, Ryan would send us the disclosures and comp sales and usually gave us an estimate of how much he thought the property would sell for under the current market condition (which was pretty accurate).We were in a tough market because the inventory was low and it was hard to find an ideal property for the price we were willing to pay. We gave 4 offers but they were all rejected. It was easy to overbid but Ryan never encouraged us to do so. Instead, he gave us assurance that we would be able to find one that we like with the right price and he was right. This property was not on our list originally because it was beautifully remodeled a few years ago and didnt need much work. We would have missed it if Tim&Ryan didnt bring it up.We gave an offer and the next thing you know, we were in contract. The closing didnt go smoothly because our lender messed up, which delayed the process. But Ryan, once again, calmed us down and acted quickly to negotiate with the seller to extend the timeline. Finally, we got the keys!

So happy that we met Tim & Ryan. We knew we wanted to sell, but we had no idea how to go about it and were worried that our home my not sell. They put us at ease when they let us know how confident they were that it will sell. They explained that a remodel and upgrades would help sell the home so they redesigned the kitchen and bathrooms. As soon as the condo was remodeled and staged, I could see why they were so confident in their work. On the first weekend of the open house we had 3 offers and our home sold right away. My husband, myself and my 138 lb Great Pyrenees dog liked Ryan at our first meeting. Ryan is not only a dog lover, but the best real estate agent you will ever find. We should know as we have purchased 5 houses and sold two. Short background is we were selling my mothers 100 year old house in San Francisco. Sadly she left us after a stroke with a whole 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a full basement full of stuff. We were overwhelmed to say the least. I held onto the home for 14 years, knowing I had to clean it out and sell it. We never rented it, but let friends use it when they wanted to visit the City. I was desperate. Then I met Ryan and he made things seem not so bad. His gentle calming nature and professionalism put me at ease immediately. We toured the packed house together and he acted like no problem here, nice house. I also had to have a vehicle towed from the residence and deal with a persistent transient person that thought the house was his. Ryan held my hand through the whole ordeal. He either took care of things or had the resources for me to call and take care of any problem. We got the house cleaned out in 3 days with professional help (kind of like hoarders). We then turned the house over to Ryan to sell. That is when the real magic happened. Ryan had the house beautifully staged, gorgeous pictures taken for a brochure, spread the word to his colleagues and MLS. We then decided on a weekend for open house. Ryan got 4 good offers on the first showing. As he says he took the highest and best to us. We wanted to wait and see if any more offers came in and one did, higher than the first. We said yes to that one. So in one weekend the house was essentially sold. There was a minor hiccup during escrow where the buyers could not get insurance. This is a serious problem in California. Ryan called several insurance companies on behalf of the buyer. He worked extremely hard. I felt he worked harder than the buyers agent. Finally we agreed to lower the price slightly and the buyers were able to get insurance. Because of Ryans magic we got the highest price in the neighborhood during a time when interest rates were at 7-8 percent and insurance almost impossible to get. I was working with another real estate agent to sell my mother’s house in Santa Barbara after she recently passed away when it became very apparent that they were only interested in how they could make the situation work to their advantage. I contacted the real estate agent who recently sold me my home in Madison Wisconsin, and she put me in touch with Ryan and Tim and boy am I glad she did! Our “virtual” introduction included a 4-page Santa Barbara housing market analysis and an offer to meet with me. A 45-minute Zoom meeting ended up lasting almost 90 minutes. Ryan and Tim were so engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, it was apparent to me that they would have the best interests of me and my family at heart. Ryan Nickell and Tim Paskel are absolute professionals. They gave us amazing advice when it came to VA loan financing for a home in San Jose, which is incredibly hard to find. The advice we received previously was to move to a conventional loan but these guys showed us that we can take advantage of the lower interest rate and other benefits a VA loan offers and still stay competitive. They connected us to a lender / broker who was just amazing. It always felt like Ryan was one step ahead and things were taken care of. We also had a lot of challenges with the sale of our other home and Ryan basically acted as a sounding board to our questions and helped us through an anxious difficult time of selling and buying a new home. Ryan and Tim walked us through all of the home buying process including the areas to target along with the pros and cons, the general market outlook, what to look for in homes. They also were also extremely informative about which home cosmetics could be improved with less effort. A friend of ours suggested Tim and Ryan, to help us buy our first home in the crazy SF bay area. We did meet other realtors but were never completely sure with them. My husband had met Ryan around 2-3 years ago when he was looking for a house. And then his house search fizzled. And right this year when we were looking for houses together, he thought of him. Ryan reviewed and provided inputs on several of the Zillow listings and ensured it met my requirements. Although I had only one showing, Ryan & his team were diligent throughout the process from setting up showing, to putting in the offer and getting the home closed on time. The home had tenant at time we put in the offer and Ryan followed up to ensures that tenant had vacated before closing. To buy a house in the South Bay in these times, you need a something special - that could be in the form of lofty positions at tech firms, or you could just work with Ryan and Tim. I was referred to Ryan and Tim by a colleague of mine, who worked with them for his own house. They describe themselves as people-oriented (Ryan) and ROI-oriented (Tim), and while this is absolutely true, the skills arent mutually exclusive.Tim and Ryan were super helpful for us in our search of buying a house in the south bay, and helped identify the pros and cons of a house, with possible remodeling changes that could be considered. Both of them were extremely helpful and helped walk us through various processes and issues that we werent familiar with, being prospective first-time home owners. Im one of those people that rarely write reviews, especially for real estate brokers! However, Im writing this one because Ryan Nickell and his team truly changed my mind about them. At least this one. I have bought 10 houses over the years, and sold 5. I have never had a good experience with an agent, and never wanted to use one again after a transaction. From dishonest to just lazy I have had them all. I was dreading working with another one, but I did a lot of research and decided to list my house in Cupertino with Ryan Nickell at Real Estate Experts. He did everything he promised and more! He had great recommendations on what needed to be done to the property before listing to get maximum value for my investment. One example was his recommendation that doing a bathroom upgrade would provide a great return on investment. Then he found all the skilled trades people to get the work done in a short amount of time, and even managed all of the work. Im pretty detail oriented and it took me a bit to realize I could relax as Ryan had it all taken care of. He also did a great job negotiating with the buyers. The result of all of this was he got me a top dollar offer on my property. The closest neighboring home sales at the time were a quarter million less than what Ryan negotiated for mine. This was quite an accomplishment given the market is cooling off with the interest rate hike last spring. I have never had an agent work as hard as he did. They usually do the bare minimum to get their commission. So if you want someone to sell your property and get the most value for it, I highly recommend Ryan. Im sure he is just as great as a buyers agent if you have him on your side. If I could give him twice the stars I would. He is amazing!

I could not have asked for a better realtor experience than I got working with Ryan and his team! During my initial conversation with Ryan, I explained that my goal was to maximize my ROI on the property and that I was willing to invest in improvements that could help with that goal. Ryan puts in work! We all know how crazy the Bay Area housing market can be, where buyers put in countless offers just to get rejected. Ryan managed to get me the very FIRST home I looked at and fell in love with. I found the home by myself and toured it but needed a realtor to move fast and make things happen. Within hours, Ryan walked me through the process, including information about the home, and he put in a well reasoned offer within hours. He strategized with me on how to make the offer to get it accepted. And it did! My entire home search process in the Bay Area took less than a week total. He then worked morning, day, night, and even in the middle of the night to answer my questions fast and to make sure the closing process was moving forward. This included texts and emails I sent him well past 10 pm (sometimes past midnight) that he answered immediately, video calls where he postponed boarding an international flight to talk to me, and more.
