Dr. Lim and his entire staff are great- nice, friendly and professional. Both of my boys have been getting their teeth cleaned at Smiling Sea since they were 2(they’re now 11 & 13). My older one just got his braces off today after 14 months. He had done phase 1 Invisalign in 3rd grade for 10 months. His teeth look fantastic. He picked braces for phase 2 right before he turned 12 because all of his friends had them and thought they “looked cooler” with the colored rubber bands. He said if he had to get them a 3rd time, he would do Invisalign because it’s more comfortable.It’s always easy making and changing appointments at Smiling Sea, and 99% of the time it is easy parking in their private lot. They have tvs playing movies non stop at each chair and the office is very clean and cute under the sea theme for kids. Highly recommend for your dental and ortho needs!

Dr. Lim performed a miracle- I truly did not think my son’s teeth could be this beautiful (poor dude got some bad genes,) Dr. Lim’s patience, kindness, and comforting bedside matter are as incredible as his art.We could not be happier with the results for both of our sons. We absolutely love Dr Lim and his entire staff! My second child is now started with Invisalign after my son had completed his Invisalign treatment successfully with no problems or hassles he even finished before schedule . Dr Lim and his staff are so lovely and patient with both my children! They are so efficient and work in a timely matter knowing that my time and children’s time is valuable - Well they are even busier! But they always take the time to explain the process and details of what they are doing and what they expect to see at the next visit! BTW both my children saw Dr To - Dr Lim’s wife as their pediatric Dentist and also had a very positive experience! We adore the entire family including their very reliable and loving staff!

Smiling Sea Orthodontics is the best place to send your child to get a gorgeous smile! Dr. Lim has treated both of my kids and they look great! He is gentle and sweet with kids, and he isn’t one of those orthodontists that believe in pulling out all of your children’s’ teeth! His staff is friendly and efficient. I have already recommended numerous families to him and will continue to do so!

Dr. Lim is wonderful. He and all the office staff are very warm and caring. Its no fun having braces, but my daughter was actually excited to go to her appointments. When we had issues (broken/poking wire), they resolved those right away. Now that they are off, she is so happy (and so are we) with the results. They make everything easy. Highly recommend.

My daughter had her orthodontic treatment with Dr. Lim for the past 2 years. She just removed her braces and loves her new smile. As a parent I can add that we had great experience throughout the entire treatment. From consultation, financial arrangements to follow up visits everything was always organized and managed properly. Dr. Lim and his staff are very professional and polite. We will be a returning customers for my son’s treatment very soon :)

Dr. Lim and the staff at his office are great. My daughter has a different orthodontist and because I am dissatisfied with that orthodontist and his team, I decided to choose a different orthodontist for my son. I first went to Dr. Lim a year ago, but my son had too many baby teeth to get braces. Dr. Lims office sent a follow up email a year later inviting me to return to see how things were progressing. Things had progressed and my son got braces last week. The staff is professional, courteous, and friendly. Dr. Lim is knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He answered all my questions. The office is designed with young patients in mind. There are video games and televisions to entertain patients. Although I have to say, we did not have much of an opportunity to utilize these things because Dr. Lim and his team are quick and efficient. There was very little wait time. I highly recommend Dr. Lim.

Dr.Lim is always approachable,professional and listens to his patient and parents. His staff is always so friendly and very patient. My daughter enjoys her visits and I know that Dr. Lim and his staff make her appointments more comfortable. Dr lim and his team are the best. He did my braces for me about 10 years ago. I recently went back for a quick treatment of Invisalign because I stopped wearing my retainer after a few years and my teeth shifted just a tiny bit. 4 months later my teeth are perfect again. Would recommend him to everyone he really is the best

A little bit more expensive than other orthodontists I researched, but totally worth it and very happy with the results. Dr. Lim uses the most updated equipment, so there’s no messy molds or discomfort for the child on that end when prepping. The braces themselves were great, only mild discomfort, and no old-school retainers. They mimic Invisalign. He even has whitening product you can use with the retainers to whiten the child’s teeth once the braces are off!The staff is great and always on time, and Dr. Lim is kind and patient.

Dr. Roger and his staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Every time I bring my kids to Dr. Roger’s office, he and his staff make sure we are well taken care of. We are always greeted with enthusiasm and everyone is super friendly. From the time we check in to the time we leave the office, everything happens very smoothly and efficiently. Always punctual and efficient. I feel my children are in good hands with Dr Lim. He never suggests any procedure unless he absolutely thinks it is necessary. He always airs on the conservative side when it comes to my daughters orthodontic needs. Everyone in the office is always friendly and helpful and the office itself couldn’t be cleaner. I see them always wiping the instruments and chairs down after each patient. I strongly recommend this office.

My son has a rare condition wherein a few of his baby teeth will not come off naturally in his growing years nor permanent teeth will be growing on their place once extracted. With this, the baby teeth and a couple of permanent teeth had to be be taken out and braces will be used to even out the teeth for him to have a normal bite. Dr. Roger Lim and his staff made the ordeal lighter. He was very accomodating and patient in answering all my concerns. My son feels so comfortable in his clinic, it’s like another home for him for more or less 3 years. His braces have now been taken off and we can’t be any happier with the result. Dr. Lim is absolutely the Orthodontist I will bring my child to and recommend to everyone who need expert care. Thank you Dr. Lim and all the staff you are all awesome.

I just finished my 18 months of Invisalign braces with Dr. Lim. This has been a wonderful experience. It could not have gone better. Dr. Lim and his staff are caring, professional and wonderful. I have not any a single issue and my teeth turned out fantastically. I now have the perfectly straight teeth I dreamed of having just 18 months ago. I cant stop smiling I am so happy. Dr. Lim is soft spoken and kind. One could not ask for a more caring person.

Our entire orthodontic experience has been so terrific! Dr. Lim is innovative, knowledgeable and so kind. When we were not getting any results with headgear, Dr. Lim spent the time and energy to come up with another way to move my sons teeth and it worked!!! The staff are so so lovely!!! My son had a very positive experience! Everyone is very helpful, patient, and kind while explaining all the pros and cons of braces versus envisalign. We just started with envisalign and my son is so excited that the whole process only takes 18 months. We just got his first envisalign today. Thank you Dr. Lim and staff! My son and I LOVE not only Roger Lim, but everyone in his office!!! Maximus had not only braces, but expanders put on at 9yrs old and they made the experience very loving. Its not fun to get all that work done, yet my son actually likes going in to get new colored bands put on : ))) He did red and blue bands to match his white teeth for the 4th of July. Next, October: orange and black for Halloween LOL! I wouldnt take him anywhere else!!!!

I was visiting LA and thankfully found the kindest orthodontist ever! My two nieces and I were in town and the older one has braces. The bracket on her bottom last tooth came loose and the wire was sticking out causing it to dig in her gums/cheek.We had just arrived in LA and were not due to go back home for another 5 days.After several failed attempts trying to find an orthodontist who could fit us in last minute, I found Dr. Roger Lim. I called the office and spoke to the sweet and friendly Jennifer and explained our dilemma/drama. She spoke to Roger Lim and I was asked to take my niece in ASAP. As soon as we got there we were greeted and welcomed in the nicest manner and were in and out within 20 minutes.Dr. Lim took the bracket off and cut the wire down and gave us some wax to cover the end part of the wire.I had a very happy niece who could now eat and be her usual self.I can not thank Dr. Lim and his staff enough for saving the day and our trip to LA.The way we were treated was 5⭐️ and with the upmost kindness. Thank you sooooo much 😊

If you have to pay for your childs braces, this is the place to go. They are the Nordstrom of Orthodontics without the major cost. They have payment plans that allow you to do the right thing for your precious kids.
