Once again, Robert Mack and his staff at RMG/Fiv Realty were a joy to work with. They guided us through the sale of our condo which ultimately sold for $176,000 over asking price and then helped us find a replacement residence in record time even with the low inventory state of the real estate market in Orange County. His patience, understanding and professionalism in keeping us in the loop explaining what was happening at all stages of the process until escrow closed was much appreciated. Ryan and the Robert Mack group was a great choice! My transaction was a divorce sale, so needless to say it sometimes got complicated. We interviewed five realtors who also possessed a tremendous amount of expertise, but I chose Ryan and the Robert Mack group because they gave a good presentation, they were quick at responding (phone & email), they were familiar with the Newport market, they were on point on the listing price, they gave reasonable expectations and fair commission splits. Throughout the transaction someone was always available and had a resolution for each roadblock. We closed within 45 days of the listing date. They made this transaction a smooth ride. I was introduced to Robert Mack and Ryan McMillian in mid-2023. I have done many real estate transactions, buying and selling though the years. I would recommend the RMG to all, and I dont recommend lightly. Their professionalism, communication,and attention to our needs was second to none. What is really impressive is their team approach. Years ago when I was looking to buy my first condo, my mortgage lender referred me to Robert Mack when I needed a realtor. He was very thorough in the buying process and very proactive to help me buy my first condo in Fullerton in that competitive market. 10 years later when I was looking to sell and upgrade to a bigger home, I reached out to Robert again. His team and expertise had grown but he was still the same guy I had worked with all those years ago. He walked me through the process and helped me stage my condo and had professional photos taken so it looked it best, it sold within a week. Looking for a new condo had been hard in this high rate market, but he and his team were patient with me and were always available to show me whichever places I wanted to see. One Saturday I checked my list sent to me by Robert, saw a place in Tustin that looked promising, went to see it Sunday, and he helped write up my offer immediately after going returning from seeing the unit. His persistence helped me get my offer accepted same day and I’ve now just moved in. After years of attempting to purchase a home in certain areas of LA, we finally gave up on the idea and started considering Orange County. Unfortunately, our agent did not cover the area and referred us to Robert Mack. To say that this was the best referral is an enormous understatement. Rob and I hit it off very quickly and built a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. Rob went through great lengths to educate me about the difficulties in the current market before we even started looking at homes. After a few attempts in the most competitive housing market, I felt more educated and adjusted my expectations based on the things I learned through his help. Robert Mack and team are phenomenal. My wife and I had decided to sell our house of 25 years and had no idea where or how to start the process. A friend of mine recommended Robert and that was the best decision we made. Robert showed up to our first meeting with a market analysis of our property and sat down and explain the entire process out to us. He arranged for his team to come in and provide quotes for projects that would bring the most value to our property. The communication from Robert and then Kristy as the process went on was awesome. His approach and his marketing strategy was far superior to anything I have ever experienced from any realtor, and Ive sold a lot of homes! We first met Christian in early 2020 when we were looking to purchase our first home. Then the pandemic hit, and we decided to put our search on hold. Christian was great about checking in occasionally, but not too often, and letting us know about where the market was at and how it was changing. We first met Rob and his wife at our good friends housewarming party 8 years ago! Rob was our friends realtor and we knew who to ask if we ever wanted to buy in the OC.Well in the midst of crazy Covid, our loan officer Tim, invited us to a Zoom meeting that included the entire Robert Mack Group, and we began chatting to Robert more seriously about buying in the OC.So the first home that my husband and I emailed Rob about on 8/4/20, he arranged for a tour 8/7/20. In a social setting, I shared my housing woes (lease was almost up & rent was skyrocketing) with Kristy Dunkel and she suggested I consider buying instead of renting. We were referred to Christian Thoreen-Darnas from another realtor who was not on the ground locally so that he could help with our home search in Riverside County. From the moment I first spoke to Christian I was immediately put at ease and was very impressed with his knowledge of the housing market. We spoke for an hour on our first phone call and he took the time to explain the current market and what expectations we should have to close in market like this. Because of Christians knowledge and ability to explain and answer all my questions we felt very confident moving forward in this market. Christian also gave us a reference for a mortgage company which we ultimately went with in the end because of the great rates we got.Our home searching time line was pretty limited and we were coming out of town to look at homes, but after only a day and half of looking at homes Christian helped us find the right home for us and was able to help us get the deal closed on the first offer we placed on a house in Perris!After the offer was accepted Christian was in constant contact and very efficient at getting the closing process moving. Robert helped buy our first home about 7 years ago and made the process painless. He is super knowledgeable with all of Orange County. About a year ago we were looking to upgrade to a larger home, Rob and his team were excited find us something new. From the moment we met Robert, we knew he was the right realtor for us. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and answered all of our many questions. We were a little hesitant at the beginning that we were even ready to sell our home, but Robert was patient with us. He laid out a timeline for us explaining the process step-by-step. I left a well-earned, glowing review for Robert Mack and Kristy when they helped us sell our home in 2019. We were recently in the market to buy a house, went right back to them, and had the same outstanding service. The area we were looking in was a little outside their normal zone, so I initially went to them hoping they might be willing to help us, but really expecting a simple recommendation. Robert insisted on helping us himself. We were up and running with online searches in no time. We had been doing a bit of research so we knew what we wanted in a home. We saw what appeared to be the perfect home for us on the next Friday night. They got us an appointment for Sunday and we were in escrow within the week.The sellers turned out to be great, but the sellers agent was initially very vague and slow in responding to questions after the inspection, which caused concerns, but Robert was very adept at identifying and getting to the bottom of the communication issues so that the transaction could continue. It is one thing to have a transaction go smooth by accident, it is another to have someone actively working to make sure little things dont turn in to big things. Thats invaluable.Robert is the ONLY real estate person I have ever used more than once. That is probably the best thing I can say. If I ever need a real estate agent again, he will be my first call, and I know hell take it.

I met Christian at an open house, after trying to sell our own home with another agent for a year with no success. We were ready to give up on the entire process. Christian explained the way the Robert Mack Group approaches listing homes and working with clients, and we agreed to give them the opportunity to give us a listing pitch.After several weeks of our schedules not lining up, during which time Christian diligently and respectfully followed up and kept in touch, Robert and Christian came to our home with a complete market analysis and a plan/strategy for selling our house. Our situation was complicated by being out of state for much of the process as well as the Covid-19 situation. Robert and his team not only made the process easy for us but also got us top dollar. I waited 5 months to write this review, to allow for the unknown to be known etc. We worked with Chris Thoreen back in late 2019 to not only sell my house but to buy the next. As a first time home seller, I was nervous and cautious. I heard his proposal and appreciated his professionalism and presentation. I was very unsure regarding the sale price to list my home. In the end, I decided that I was not the professional and that Chris was and that I needed to trust him. So that is exactly what I did; and he called it. He predicted what my house would sell for (above asking and it was an accurate and reasonable list price), and how long it would take. His assessment of my property and evaluation of the market conditions were on point. I can honestly say that if I had not listened to his guidance, I very likely would not be in my new home right now. So, obviously, not only did he do an excellent job of selling my home (we implemented his recommendations fully, so we get some credit for that too), but he tirelessly worked with us to find our new home, which I am over the top happy with (5 months later). While I dont plan on buying a primary residence again any time soon (unless I get lucky!)
