This store is a runners dream! They have everything you could want as a runner, along with all the major shoe brands to choose from. We walked out of here today with a pair of custom insoles. The service was great during the customization process. Highly recommended!

First time Ive ever been in this store. I was just looking for insoles and running shoes and was surprised at the level of detail they went into to find an insole that is specifically made for your foot and finding a shoe that specifically fits your needs. It was a more pricy than just ordering insoles online or picking one up at a store but it was well worth it. Ive never had shoes be this comfortable. I could walk for years and not be sore. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Joshua helped me during my visit and was very knowledgeable.10/10 would recommend.

I used to love going into roadrunner to pick out a pair of shoes. The possibilities were ample, and the people selling the shoes shared my love of running. Not so much anymore. Do you know how it feels to walk on a car lot? Those were the vibes. I got when walking into the store yesterday. I was immediately approached by somebody with an iPad, wanting my phone number and name and asking me if I was a VIP member. If they really want to help people check in, then have people take a number. I don’t want to have to scan my retina to look at shoes. I felt like I was in an aquarium with a bunch of piranhas. I’m sure that this is coming from a higher place than the employees working there, they all seem to be trained to do the same thing. If you ask them a question that doesn’t flow with their algorithm, they are stumped and don’t know what to do. Roadrunner is a huge conglomerate, they should know the best way to approach their runners. If they want to retain their longtime customers, they’re going to have to try better. The two stars are for them having the shoe we were looking for in stock.

Austin was Amazing and delivered world class customer service. Helped me figure out shoe size with the cool in store camera scanner. Was able to get shoes, custom insoles and socks in less than 20 mins. Thank you again and staff at road runner sports Carlsbad. I will be back.

I was so impressed with all the employees from the moment I walked into the tent with the gentleman at the door who walked me over to chat with the two gentlemen who would help me find the exact shoe that I needed. Inside I worked with Logan who was delightful on taking my foot measurements. And even when I paid the gal who took my money was such a sweetheart, and she got the knot out of the lace on the tennis shoes I was buying. This was at the Carlsbad location. I have been to the San Diego location on numerous times and I did not feel the warm and fuzzy that I felt in Carlsbad.

Franky was very helpful throughout our shipping experience. He is very knowledgeable professional and courteous. My wife and I found the shoes we needed thanks to him. The store is neat and well organized we will most certainly be back again.

I’m not one for sending reviews but I had to reward this company for the excellent customer service I received the other day! Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, clean, friendly, genuine, thorough, not to mention fair prices and amazing return policy. I find even average customer service a thing of the past but this company was amazing! I’ll definitely be back!

Kyra and the staff are beyond helpful, caring and amazing. I would shop here a million times over just because their customer service is excellent and they are all very involved in making sure you find the right shoes and leave satisfied.

This Road Runner location was Awesome! Plenty of options, friendly employees (and fellow customers), competitive rewards program and discounts (including military!), and the knowledge the employees have is impressive (to include using a foot scanner to help find the best options)! Eric helped me out and boy did he earn his pay that day. I had lots of questions and was looking for something really specific, and we found the perfect shoe for me. And he seemed genuinely happy to help me out! Guaranteed future business from me.
