I was so totally impressed by both the product selection and the staff, most especially Claudia.She videos my walk and made me custom insoles for Brooks sneakers that I bought. She even trimmed the insoles so could also use them in my Timberlands. I couldnt have asked for better. My feet feel fantastic even yesterday after a 12 hour day of hiking and videoing at Sequoia National park! Super excellent. If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

You completely changed my life! I went in desperate to find some trainers. For years I kept running on numerous shoes that just hurt my feet in every way possible, especially the sides. I finally decided to drive down to Road runners. I spoke to Sonia who recommended a diagnostic on my feet. I ran on the treadmill so they could record me and I went on their scanner. They knew exactly where I was in pain from it. It was incredible! She recommended the perfect running shoes, socks and they made me custom inserts. Also I kept wearing a size that was too small. They were able to tell me the size that I needed. Now I’m ready to break this record that I’m training for! Thank you!!! Little did you know that you changed my life and the day I accomplish my goal I’m going to visit you with a gift! 🎁 I had the best run of my life today.. This Road Runner Sports location in Studio City has been incredible!! Their staff not only helped me find the right shoe before my 10k race, but I have come back with my husband, my mom, and my grandma and each time has been wonderful. Staff (shout-out to Mitch in my most recent visit) have listened to our concerns, informed us about our unique foot needs, and have been patient with our questions and selection process. Absolutely recommend you go there!

Great experience at this location. They were very busy and I had to wait 5-10 minutes, but I only mention that to say that despite being busy my sales associate took her time to help me find the best shoe for me. She was very knowledgeable and re-did the gait analysis which helped a lot. She also let me exchange my previously purchased shoes without the box or the soles inside for the new shoes. Overall, they have a great exchange policy and this location has excellent service. Highly recommend

Was a little unsure walking in about how my experience was. For context it was a Saturday morning and packed. Thankfully I was helped by Jolene who while juggling a register, customers, and grabbing shoes, was able to take the time necessary to help me and give me tips about starting to run. Everyone else at the store was very nice and helpful, especially since I looked very lost. Would recommend!

If you are looking for tennis shoes, Roadrunner Sports is the place to go. They care about their customers. You can have any kind of back problem, leg problem, any issue, and they will make sure you get the right shoe for your situation. Had a great experience with Mitch. He was very helpful and got me in and out in ample time for me to pick-up my kid in time. I also met a nice customer who had never been a VIP Member. She asked me about the membership and told me that she was there due to medical issues. I too am a member due to medical issues. I was able to give her my own testimonials about being a member. She originally went to the Santa Monica store and was overwhelmed as I was the first time. I walked her through all the perks and she was sold. I told Mitch about her and he said he would take care of her. Great experience and definitely will be back to the Studio City location again. Thank you Mitch!

Road Runner Sports is hands-down the best place for running and athletic shoes. I purchased a pair for my son, and also for me. They have every brand available. The fitting process is designed for athletic people who really care about the health of their feet. The staff are all athletes with firsthand knowledge of their products. Don’t just go to the Nike store. You will really be limiting your options. These are people that love running and athletics, and care about their products. Five stars.

Really great customer service. The store was very busy when I walked in but it only took a few minutes before I was helped. After a shoe fitting and multiple pairs tried on, I landed on a pair of running shoes that’s I’m really happy with. The staff was super helpful throughout the whole process and not once did I feel rushed or like products were being pushed on me. Will definitely be back.

Super disappointed with the service and experience here. I started getting into running recently and wanted to do their foot analysis/shoe fitting, I got here at 6:34 and they close at 7, and the female employee said they needed a full half hour to do it and couldn’t help me. I asked if she could make an exception. Store was empty too. I drove across town from Silverlake to Studio City during rush hour after closing up my shop to try and make it in time. I also explained this to the employee, and she continued to refuse. I came in super excited and with high hopes for this. I’m a business owner myself and would never let a disappointed customer walk away without trying to go the extra mile to help them out, and in this case make an exception. As a result of this poor experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to get some running shoes and recommending others to do the same.

I would give 5 stars. Which Carlos deserves beyond 5 stars. He went the extra miles in helping my entire family. The one less star goes to whoever put away the shoes & insoles we were going to purchase. We were ready to check out but once we got there the other staff had already put away the sneakers and insoles. So Carlos had to redo the insoles. And once we got home the sneaker was not the size we purchased so I had to come back the next day to get it he correct shoes size and redo the insole. Which Carlos thank goodness was there and he helped me again. All this would have been smooth sailing if no one touched the shoes on the register counter. What I think is that things on the counter are for purchase. But I could be wrong. Other than that 5 stars for Carlos.

Terrible experience. Waited 12 minutes before anyone told us we had to check in, and then waited another 30 before someone told us how long the wait would be. The person who was supposed to help us ignored us and wouldn’t get the manger for us so we could check a gift card balance. Was very excited for this store but v quickly disappointed. Terrible system, terrible prices ($80 for socks), terrible service. There was only one nice person who even though she wasn’t helping us, was the most helpful out of everyone. DO NOT GO! You can get so much better for cheaper. Very frustrating.

I was looking for this sneaker for a while, it seemed to be out of stock everywhere. Called the RR San Diego customer service line to ask about it, they showed my local RR had my size in stock! Drove 2 hours from Bakersfield on a Sunday to try out some slip-resistant Hoka shoes that I could not find anywhere in Bakersfield. The Hoka store online had this particular model on back-order and I would have not been getting them until a month and a half. However, I saw that these shoes were available and in stock in my size at Road Runner Sports.As soon as I walked into Road Runner Sports, I was kindly welcomed by Claudia. She helped me step by step and was very attentive. I came in to look for race day shoes. There was a sign up form at the entrance of the store and we had to wait over 30 mins to get helped. Once I had someone, they started by analyzing my feet and trying to upsell me on insoles before I could even try any shoes on. Once we started looking at shoes, all the race day shoes were sold out except for one pair that were too big for me. Nice store but pretty poor experience.

One of the best shopping experiences for running shoes I’ve ever had. I wish I had discovered these guys earlier. I’ve had such a difficult time finding shoes that feel good when I run, and give my feet the support they need, which has become a big problem for me as I’ve gotten older. Getting your feet fitted is probably one of the smartest things a runner can do, especially if you’re 40+. I felt the sales team was there to support and make sure my needs are met more than sell me shoes. I highly recommend checking them out. You won’t find this kind of service online.

My husband and I went in yesterday to get our first pairs of athletic sneakers that didnt come from the sales bin at nordstrom rack. Were not runners, but we are switching from a yoga-only studio to a gym with a variety of workout classes and wanted a good pair of cross trainers. Daryhon helped both of us and was extra patient and kind with me, someone who is very new to fitness, has a recent ankle injury, and literally had to ask questions like how do I know if I like this shoe better than that one. He walked me through the fit finder machine assessment and helped me pick out a great pair of shoes that fits well. Well definitely be back.

Alex at the Studio City location on Ventura Blvd. was fantastic to work with. We did a fit and gait test, and he combined those results with my description of what I was looking for to narrow down my options to three shoes he recommended. I left with a Brooks Ghost 15 after many years of wearing Asics Gels of one kind or another, and so far, Im really happy with them. I joined their VIP program (first year is free) which will allow me to exchange the shoes for up to three months if I decide theyre not right for me.

Buyer Beware! Was charged $49.99 for annual membership that I never authorized. My credit card company called me to see if it was a fraudulent charge. I said yes but found out they also charged me last year after I bought some shoes in store. I declined VIP membership. I asked them to reverse the charge but they wouldn’t. Scam. Road Runner Sports takes your CC info during your purchase and signs you up for automatic annual membership without your consent. Many forums and complaints on BBB.

TLDR: If you need running shoes & gear, come to Road Runner Sports!I started training seriously again and needed new shoes. Visited the Studio City location where Alex helped me. We did the treadmill analysis, 3D foot scan and he recommend 3 different shoes. Tried them all and picked the ones I liked and that felt good. We did the custom insoles and I left totally thrilled.Fast Forward 2(ish) months and I was back. I had started getting some aching in my right knee. Thanks to the incredible membership program, because it was within 90 days I was able to come back with my shoes & insoles. Kayla helped me and explained that the insoles had already collapsed and that I should get the blue ones instead, and told me in detail why. Because of the membership and that it was within 90 days I was able to exchange the shoes for a different pair, in the hopes that the new shoes + new insoles would help my knee. All for an even exchange. $0!!! Absolutely unreal that service & benefits like this are offered.If youre a runner or want to be a runner or used to be a runner - go here & get the membership and let this team help you gear up! Although the in store selection might not be as large as what is available online or elsewhere in terms of color-ways, they have every possible shoe, from almost every brand youd want to run in!THANK YOU ALEX & KAYLA!

This is why brick and mortar stores still need to exist—and pay real salaries not based on commissions. In less than an hour and with Mounir’s friendly, knowledgeable help, I got my first new running shoes in over 10 years. I needed a wider toe box but not a wide shoe and better cushioning. Searching, comparing, ordering multiple sizes and fits online would have taken me hours and required lots of returns. What a relief to be done with that process so easily and with a new customer discount! Lots of other great running/workout/hiking accessories available too that I’ll likely come back for.

I have been here before and the workers have always been very nice with great customer service but today I went in and this older white lady with wavy black hair (maybe manager at least she thought she was) was so RUDE. I just asked a simple question and she treated me poorly and didn’t let me ask other workers any questions. She was very rude and made a big deal over a simple question that I made which was if I can exchange my shoes(because of the vip benefit thing). Which I couldn’t because she said it was longer than 3 months which is fine I was going to buy a new pair but I felt like I couldn’t even walk around and see the shoes. She went to go talk about me to the workers and made it obvious which is very upsetting . Sucks, because I really liked coming here and always recommend it now idk.

The people working inside this store are VERY kind. However, I had a horrible experience. I went in this January looking for new running shoes. I found some that I liked but they said they didn’t have that color in store and would ship them to me within the next 2 weeks. This was fine. However, after waiting 4 weeks I finally called roadrunners HQ and asked where my shoes were. They said they would ship them out. 2 months later… still no shoes. I called a second time, This time said they they would be fully refunded and send out the shoes and would call me to follow up. No shoes and no follow up. Called a 3rd time in APRIL and they finally said they would send me the shoes but refused to refund me. Even after waiting 4 months, if they would have refunded me for the trouble they might still have my future business. Buying a pair of sneakers ain’t what it used to be! So I sign in at the local Road Runner Sports store and Derek calls my name to help me find a pair of “athletic shoes.” We start on the foot scanning computer which reads the size, width, arch and pronation of each foot. Then Derek informs me that I should wear a “neutral” fit and not one that compensates for uneven wear on the inside or outside of the shoe. Next I pick and he brings around 8 pairs of shoes. No hesitation, as many as I want to try. And while I’m trying on all these $140 and up running shoes that I intend to walk in, Derek is heating up the insole warming machine so, once I select a sneaker, we can swap the manufacturers insole with the custom ones that are now warm and sitting on the machine I step onto; leaning both forwards and backwards until these $90 accessories are molded to my feet. Once they’re ready, they are expertly swapped into my ASICS Gel-Nimbus cloud-like sneakers, and I am done. The experience is a modern bit of expense and fussiness that is hard not to love actually, and with the Labor Day sale, and my additional Road Runner VIP discount, (free for the first year, and $50 a year thereafter), I walk out (in my old $40 sneakers from Amazon), spending only $234 of what would have cost $324 for my new swanky walking shoes. Kind of silly, kind of amazing…and I am walking on clouds as a birthday gift from my amazing girlfriend. So…if you, (or your gift-giving loved one), can afford such an experience, I highly recommend it. I hope it keeps me and my feet happy until I evenly wear out my fancy trainers.

This is my third time visiting this store. I went after work and it was relatively busy (7-10 customers). They acknowledged me right away and had me sign in as all 3 sales people were busy. I waited about 10 minutes for assistance and browsed the store while I waited. I was looking to try on a few specific styles- 3 of which were available in my size in the store. The sales woman listened to my concerns and what I was looking for and looked up my profile quickly and made some recommendations. She brought them out and let me take my time with the various models. I joined the VIP program at my first visit so the purchase of my precious pair of shoes gave me a credit which I applied to the purchase of these shoes as well as 10% discount and 90Day return policy. I have visited other running stores in LA where no one even acknowledged my presence and/or they had more limited shoe selection. Would highly recommend this store for customer service and selection. They have more online then what is available in store but I like to try on shoes because I have finicky feet. Would highly recommend joining VIP program if you go through running shoes pretty quickly.

You dont go to eye doctor for foot problems, then why got to a mall store which sells shoes for everything under the sun, when you are looking for a specific product?On arriving one is struck by the sheer volume of shoes on the wall. They are clearly marked and neatly organized. The store offers a selection of brands Id never even heard of before I started researching comfortable running shoes. There is more than Nike, Adidas and Puma in the world of athletic shoes! Brooks, Saucony, Hoka, On, Korsa and New Balance are just some of the brands they offer. And yes, they have Nike and Adidas too!I was approached by one of their Fit Experts, Mounir, who patiently listened to my specific needs and offered me specific styles and models to try on which fit my criteria. He also offered to size me using the latest in 3D technology! Now, when I was in college I actually sold mens and womens shoes, so I know a thing or two when it comes to size, width, arch, etc. But I was AMAZED at how much I learned about my own feet with their incredible sizer! They scan your feet, while in socks, and give you a 360° view! I learned my right foot was a full 1/2 size larger than my left, that I am far from being a D width but actually a 2EE and one was a 2EE while the other was 3EEE! Ive never bought a wide shoe in my life! Plus, the confirmed something that I had suspected all along, that I have high arches. Which is true. VERY high. Which means I cant wear certain brands of loafer which have a low vamp. They save your size scan on file and you will get a copy in your email as well. TO THIS! Its great to have and free!So, armed with the new-found information, Mounir brought out 4 pairs of running shoes for me to try. And, lo and behold, I found THE PERFECT pair. I fell in love with a pair of the Saucony Triumph 19. Comfort beyond belief. Cushion. Support. Style. Great laces (that arent too short) and the perfect width! They helped us get the most stable shoe for my Mom, and fit her with her inserts. She felt very special indeed! Then I took my friend who has never had these any Litt s done before and we were treated just as well. She has a slight spine curve and a slight collapse of her arch in one foot. She’s in bliss walking in her new very sassy shoes with her personally created insert. Both are reassured because they can swap the shoes if they discover that they are not exactly right for them. I had one of the best retail experiences ever when I went to Road Runner in Studio City. When I first walked in I saw they had a giant selection of running shoes cross training shoes trail runners and any other sporty shoe you might need. They also had a wide Selection of massage and myofascial release tools. I was helped by a very knowledgeable and friendly staff member named Karoline. She took a 3-D scan of my feet which was completely free and then brought out several different pairs of shoes to try on based on my preference and what the scan recommended. After we found the right pair of shoes she then molded a custom pair of insoles for the and cut them to fit inside. These are by far the most comfortable pair of running shoes Ive ever owned. Karoline youre an absolute rock star for all the help!The inside of the store is very clean and the displays are all super nice. I would recommend the shoe store for anybody who wants to run, train in the gym or take up trail running. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are more than equipped to handle any questions you might have about shoe size fit or application. Yesterday was my first time visiting this store and it will not be my last. I didnt realize this important detail but its a good idea to have an appointment to ensure the customer has a Fit Expert. Fortunately Jessica was available to assist me for about 90 minutes and she provided excellent customer service!! Went to this store today and Nicholas waited on me. I had taken a severe fall and had a lot of issues and Nicholas was very patient and understanding. He was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from him about the proper fit of tennis shoes. I walked out of there very satisfied with my new tennis shoes I even got inserts which helped immensely. I love the way they can take a 3D digital image of your feet to help fit you. Also they have the best policies because their ultimate goal is to make you comfortable and happy and I will definitely go back when its time to get another pair!

This was my first time visiting this kind of specialized shoe store. When you walk in, you wait to be attended by one of the staff. They use a scanner to take measurements of your feet, study footage of your walk movements, and use a heated platform to mold insoles to your feet. Based on all this data, they bring you shoes that will help correct any bad habits you have. If you think about it, shoes are like tires for your feet, and picking the right ones is very important. This is the kind of place that will help you do that.

The shopping experience at this store in unparalleled. I have bought sneakers here for me and with family members several times and have been helped by various staff members- all of them provide impeccable customer service! They are extremely knowledgable, go beyond and above to help you find the right fit ( sometimes bringing out 10-15 boxes and still suggesting other options while never getting frustrated..), but one thing that stood out for me was that they do not push any sales and if they think that the shoe is not right for you, they will be honest and straightforward. The people that work at Road Runners are consistently great. Been to two different stores and my experiences at each have been nothing short of wonderful. The custom made in-soles have saved my feet and I was also introduced to Hokas which are the Holy Grail of comfort and support. In less than 30 min I can get brand new shoes and in-soles and go on about my day. I walk anywhere between 5 and 9 miles at work as an ER nurse. Outside of work I walk/hike 5 miles at least once per week. My feet have never been happier. Thank you Road Runners for recruiting intelligent, kind people to help your customers.

Came in to get new shoes for my 11 year old son. Jolene was amazing. She was busy helping another customer when we walked in but still greeted us and let us know she would help us in between. So we looked around. I asked to have my sons feet scanned. Which she did right away. My son has two different size feet and high arches and high insults. To top it all off he has extra extra wide feet. Jolene recommend a few shoes that would fit my shoes needs keeping in mind that he is a pre teen and looks are important. He trued on several but fell in love with the first pair.Thank you so much Jolene!If you have a hard time finding shoes that fit right this is the place and Jolene is the person to guide you though it. Wow I went to this store years ago but did not enjoy the great experience I had yesterday. Nick was super helpful as was another girl who was working (she said she had been in the military- dont remember her name). They have all this state of the art equipment for finding the perfect tennis shoe for you. I had always been to Fleet Feet in the past but this will be my new go to. Last time I was at Fleet Feet, I left without buying which should never happen at one of these stores. Id recommend Road Runner Sports to anyone.

I went in yesterday for custom insoles. Within a minute, one of their employees, Rachel, was there to help me out. She was super friendly and helpful. Answered every question I had and was honest and upfront about everything. Ive bought from RRS online before, but this was my first visit in store. It was a great experience! My husband and I got scanned, and got recommendations from their very knowledgeable staff. Kathryns suggestion had me going up another half size larger than my usual run shoe size due to always killing my second toe toenails when I do a half marathon. Im going to test these new runners on a long run soon. My husband tried out the Hokas and loved the Bondi 7. They didnt have a wide in the store, but they ordered it for us online. We also got outfitted for custom insoles by Blu. All in all a great visit. We recommend anyone in the market for good training and running shoes to come here. They do have apparel and other running gear.

The service is great and the staff are very friendly. I had one problem one time when the employee talked too fast and quiet. Other than that, this place is a great place to buy running accessories as well as making new soles. I love that idea that you heat it up and stand on it to have a custom fit. I sent a review about a recent experience that left me unsatisfied at the Studio City RoadRunner and I would like to follow-up. After sharing my concerns with RoadRunner, I received a personal call from the store manager, who was shocked and dismayed at the service I received. She guaranteed that she would personally help me find shoes that I was satisfied with and continue to help me if they didn’t work out. Not only did she help, but she prepared for my visit by transferring stock to the Studio City location to make sure I had options to try. She cleaned the treadmill after every use observing COVID protocols and was not satisfied until I was satisfied. I was AMAZED at how prepared, helpful, and knowledgeable she was. If that’s how great she is, I cannot imagine how any of the staff would not embody this. Nancy is a true leader and fantastic ambassador for RoadRunner sport.
