My child accidentally spilled coffee all over my work laptop. We reach out to Richard and he immediately took us in. He explained the whole process he gave us options & he was able to fix my laptop back to new. Great experience with RNRPC Computers, they were able to restore most of my files from a corrupted USB drive. They provided me with plenty of updates and were able to give me my files back in a timely manner! I definitely recommend going to them for your repairs!

Had huge problems with a hand built pc that worked fine for a while, but suddenly one day wouldnt boot properly. Miraculously found this place and Richard through a Google search and took it down there not knowing what to expect exactly. Was blown away by the 1000% effort Richard gave to fix what was in the end a huge mess and for a more than reasonable price given the effort and time it took.

Our server was hacked and somehow it would not turn on again after the hack took place. It was requesting that we send money via bitcoin and we were stuck without our clients information and data. It was horrible. We had a bunch of filing to do and paperwork to take care of, but we couldnt access any of it. Richard came in we paid the rush service fee which was not a problem, and he took care of it within 3 days. We got all of our information back and all of our data. Those hackers didnt stand a chance!

Took my Son’s Gaming PC that had been hacked, and after trying to look for a good computer guy …. I stumbled on some awesome reviews about RNRPC located in Palm Desert, Ca. Right off Washington st … decided to call the number on the reviews and spoke to the business Owner, I explained the issue to him, and he knew exactly what our issue was … we decided to leave my Son’s Gaming PC with him, Kept it for about 1 week … but all was worth he restored my Son’s gaming PC after it being comprised and potentially loosing the entire memory to a hacker,,, anyhow Richard it the best at what he does .. and I highly recommend his service 100000%!Thanks again Richard you’re the best computer Wizard in my opinion in the valley, better then Best Buy’s geek squad by far ….

Richard did an amazing job on restoring our laptop back to normal. He was able to repair the laptop without a problem and fixed the BIOS error that kept my system from booting up. I had some issues with my Macbook pro and it seemed to have gotten hacked. I had a friend of mine get a hold of Richard at RNRPC Computer Repair and had him pick up the laptops from my home while I was in the hospital. He did just that and picked up the laptops as instructed. Definitely, super trustworthy.So, the issue at hand was that I could not open up any emails and the laptop was not allowing me to do much even though I just purchased a brand new Macbook Pro from the Apple store.Richard got rid of the malware and restored the two Macbooks to their original functioning states. The pricing was super reasonable. I even joked about it and told him he should charge double what he charges when he does emergency drop offs or pickups in the middle of the night. Richard is my computer guy for life now as long as he doesnt charge me triple! lol.

Richard is an amazing person. They do charge a bit on the high side and even charge to drive out to you. But, let me tell you. It’s all worth it because when it’s said and done they get you what you need done and within the time allotted they mention to you. We had a windows server R2 malfunction and got quoted on replacing the server. It was going to be about $5,800 for everything. Richard and his guys were able to figure out what was wrong with the actual server and we only ended up spending $2,500 to get it repaired. If you have a business or small office contact RNRPC computer repair they’ll get you situated.

We have a landscaping company and had our computers and office set up 12 years ago. Our billing department has some issues connecting to QuickBooks and accessing files that were in the database. We called them and Richard was quick to respond and come on sight because we needed emergency services. He was pricy and charged $200 an hour but got the job done and quickly.I do have one complaint. He took one of our servers which was failing and needed to be repaired. Nick mentioned it would take 3 weeks max and it ended up taking 2 months. The server was repaired and required repair of the circuit board but the wait was ridiculous.Nonetheless, they get everything done. But if you have a broken device that doesnt turn on dont be alarmed if they end up taking 2x - 3x.I will always hire Richard for emergencies and refer him to our clients and friends.

I got a hold of Richard because our comapanies network was breached. We had very important information that belonged to our clients like; Drivers License, Social Security Numbers, and Bank Account information. The hackers attempted to file fake tax returns. We had an internal investigation happen and the FBI and IRS stepped in. Our boss was freaking out and I was tasked with finding a computer repair business that handled Forensics and Network Security. Let me tell you... Richard and his team are the best in town. Im shocked people like Richard even exist! Reach out to them and they will definitely take care of you and all your computer needs.

Richard is very prompt and fast with getting your problems solved. I have had multiple problems with my computers and over the years he is my to go guy. Just recently Ive had popups come onto my laptop which were very annoying and would slow me down. He has now added some software onto it to make sure that the popups dont happen anymore. Richard is a bit on the expensive side though. If you are looking for cheap work he is not your to go guy. If you want quality and honest work then he is your man. I highly recommend him!There was also a time when the laptop would not bootup without bypassing BIOS a certain way and he taught me how to do it.

Our laptop and desktop got infected with something that would not allow us to open up the computers. We brought in the laptop and found out that it was something called a rootkit and this thing supposedly locks the computers out at will and somehow monitors all of the computers activity. Richard and his team went ahead and removed it and took care of the desktop. Right after this I decided to bring him to the house and assess the other devices we have. Everything was taken care of and cleaned im happy I found them. One thing though is that the charge was a tad bit high. But, worth it, nonetheless.

Richard is an absolute sweet heart. I was going through some legal proceedings in court because documents were fabricated to move money from my bank accounts which I did not authorize. It froze all of my trust accounts. My kids did this and they were trying to take my money. Richard and the guys did some forensic work to gather evidence for this case and provided It to my attorney. If it wasnt for him I dont believe I would have gotten my money back in a timely matter.

I had some unwanted popups on my MacBook Air. Unsolicited pornographic popups to be exact.I contacted RnRPC Computer Repair and right away I was impressed with the amount of information Nick provided over the phone. He gave very specific information on the process and broke down the cost and even the turn around time.I took it in and right away Richard made me feel comfortable. He definitely knows his stuff. I was educated on the topic; quite a bit.He let me know that I had spyware installed on my computer by visiting websites without anti-virus protection and specific add-ons you can add onto the browser to make it unsusceptible to certain types of hijacks and cookie stuffing.Within one day the computer was returned and everything is back to normal. This was fast and the cost was fair. I will definitely be referring him in the future.

My GV72 8RE MSI gaming laptop would not stay on when playing video games and randomly shut down and give me a blue screen. The bottom of the laptop also felt extremely hot i was just about ready to give up. I got a hold of best buy and they told me hardware repair on laptops is not something they do and referred me on over to this computer repair shop in Palm Desert.Mark and Richard helped me out on this laptop. The two of them were able to get it fixed. Richard explained to me that one of the fans were not working and then later found out the laptop had some damage to the circuit board. They had to do the following; resolder some new components onto the motherboard, re-paste the cpu and gpu, updated the BIOS, and make some modifications to the voltage settings.Now my laptop runs well below 95 Ceclius degrees and it no longer throttles. I was annoyed on the amount of time it took to get it repaired but them saving it makes up for the amount of time it took them!

Apple store from El Paseo referred us to this shop for our data recovery on our 15 inch macbook pro. It was purchased in 2022 . We were shocked Apple couldnt do anything.Apple mentioned the macbook pro would not turn on or get any charge and the hard drive was somehow damaged. We had company files on it that we needed to get off of it. Richard Otis, took the macbook pro and got the data off of it for us and was able to repair the macbook pro as well. The price was quite high but definitely worth saving us from buying a new laptop and paying ridiculous price for data forensics.

I had a G7 gaming dell laptop that overheated and completely stopped working. RNRPC Computer Repair brought it back to life and repaired my motherboard blown capacitors. I had a gaming PC that needed to be repaired. It had a dying AIO liquid cooler in it and caused the temperature of the CPU to go up to 100 Celsius. Making it extremely hot! The PC now works amazing without a hitch and no problems because we installed a new Corsair h100i liquid cooler into the PC. Definitely recommend this place!

We had an iMac that needed to be repaired and it was lagging horribly. There was malware inside of the computer that was interfering with everything we couldnt even type on it because the lag on it was ridiculous. Instead of trying to waste time and try to find the culprit and delete every trace of it the iMac was upgraded with new RAM and an SSD. Now the iMac is 10x faster and we can finally use the iMac again. I couldnt be happier.

Okay I won’t lie, I called 10 different places before finding this place, but at the end I find this place very reasonable.All I was tryna do was save some bucks . This place save me lot of $$$. Staff on phone was nice and was willing to come to my house for fixing my computer. Of course there was driving cost but I prefer to go to him to save more money instead. I believe he said $20-45 for driving to me, other places had higher diagnostic fee ranging from $90-$150 while his diagnostic fee was reasonable just $45. I got my thing fixed and it’s running like champ. I won’t complain. :)✌️
