I’m torn. So, this was a very small bakery but the pastries all looked delicious! I ordered a dozen for a client meeting and it was about $100. I keep trying to rationalize how expensive a dozen pastries could be and no matter what I do, I’m still shocked. Some of them were just chocolate croissants for $6-$7 dollars…it was very expensive for a dozen pastries. Porto’s Bakery has amazing, delicious pasties made same day and if I spend $100 I’m walking out with multiple boxes of pastries and maybe a cake for incredible quality. Anyway, I had a coffee which I anticipated would be delicious and I didn’t like it at all. It didn’t taste like Starbucks burnt coffee but it just didn’t have good flavor. As far as the pastries, they were beautiful but I can’t speak to the actual flavor and quality since I didn’t try one.I think this may be a really great spot if you want to walk in for a nice pastry but if you’re buying in bulk, it’s going to get expensive and fast. I’d like to say you can sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry but I didn’t see much seating (there’s a small seating area in the back which still works) or work on the aesthetics here. Basically, it’s a grab and go sort of spot. Again, beautiful looking pastries - I just personally cannot rationalize the cost. If you want to splurge on yourself, I say go for it I’m sure the pastries are delicious!

Finally we had the chance to try RM Coffee.As soon as I walked in it smelled delicious and the first thing walking in you see its these amazing pastries. We ordered the croissant, ham & cheese croissant, and the apricot Danish.I tried the mocha, its was very good definitely going back to try more. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was very friendly and welcoming 😊😊

These pastries were insane. Made with such care, and they were absolutely delicious. The owner served us and was so kind and attentive. Cannot recommend this place enough. We got the strawberry danish, and the pineapple coconut danish which was out of this world.

You can go for the coffee, which is good, but the pastries are the star of show. The chocolate Swiss bread is worth making this a destination every time you drive this way. We also had the savory spinach pastry. Mmmmm. Its clear the owner wants you to have a great experience.

Love the French baker who has s passion and professionalism for his career. He is a bit OCD, which is a great asset as a baker. His Almond Croissants are crispy, tasty and perfect! He loves to show the best st his shop! His coffees are excellent, like a said OCD is excellent for getting the lattes just right!! Stop by and check this guy out! Our Saturday morning visit to RM Coffee was a delightful surprise. The vast selection of pastries was impressive, and we indulged in three different kinds (ham and cheese croissant, strawberry cronut, and chocolate pistachio croissant). Each one was delicious and perfectly textured. The iced coffees were just as exquisite. This shop truly stands out for its quality and variety, making it a must-visit for anyone in Palm Springs.

Easter Monday (and all Mondays FYI), RM Coffee was supposed to be closed. We called to make sure, and thankfully the very friendly owner made a pleasant mistake and opened up his cafe today! We had mochas, cappuccino, hot chocolate - all very satisfying! Our pastries were ham and Swiss croissant, Madagascar vanilla custard, Raspberry danish, spinajc and feta danish and pistachio and chocolate danish. WOW! Everything was high quality. Made us happy! Well make sure to visit again when in Palm Springs.

Great coffee and croissant. I had the vanilla latte, along with the ham and cheese croissant. I have to say it was the best savory croissant I have ever had. No way that you can come here and not have a coffee and a pastry. The cheese was rich and flavorful with a sharp bite. Glad my friend showed me this place. Will definitely be back to try more stuff.

During our recent visit, my partner and I tried a few different drinks. While my partner enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb tea, I found the mojito to be lacking in taste, taste more like toothpaste and the artificial color made it unappealing. The barista seemed to be in a hurry, citing a shortage of ice and stated he was exhausted to get more and have to order a hot drink. Unfortunately, this was not the best impression for our first visit.

What a sweet surprise right in our own backyard! Took a walk this afternoon in search of a new spot for coffee and pastries, and ended up at RM Coffee. It’s cute and perfect for anyone looking to getaway from all the touristy places during season. The coffee maker at our Airbnb broke and we NEEDED coffee. Found this place on Google maps and headed over.Im not a pastry person. But Im also not American. So when I saw the pastries and they reminded me of France I jumped on one: the apricot almond tart. It was amazing. It is slightly too big for one person, so Ill have it again. #notsorryOwner is of French origin, kind and outgoing. I got to speak French and Im really happy the drip coffee maker broke. We used to appreciate the fact that everything he made was in puff pastry whatever the filling was and it was pretty good especially for mornings… But he does everything by himself probably starting a two or three in the morning he has very little patience and he is on the verge of a nervous breakdown every time we would enter… We go elsewhere now and wish him the best

Omg, the French pastries are baked fresh each morning and are EXCELLENT!! As is the smooth, rich coffee served. Philippe is the real deal. This small coffee house has limited indoor seating, and a moderate amount of outdoor seating. Products are top quality, and prices are moderate. We had THE BEST Christmas morning thanks to the owner who stayed open for us after a horrible experience at Starbucks. So glad we discovered his coffee shop because not only were our coffees and pastry absolutely delicious, but he exuded positivity and had the attitude of a rockstar despite his exhaustive day. Worst customer experience ever. It was my first time too! I would always pass this place but never had a chance to go. And today that I do, made me regret taking all my 3 kids out of their car sets. It isnt a kid friendly place. All I wanted was to enjoy this new place for my family and I. Get coffee and start my day off right. I asked questions about the most ordered drinks etc and the barista was more focus on my kids than my order. And I can obviously tell he wasnt happy about us there. So I just left. For the first time going it sucked. I even tried placing my order fast and again he wasnt paying attention. They are kids, I had them sit down but they couldnt even sit down without him giving them looks.

I don’t blame the guy, who knows what he had to do in the afternoon. I just moved to RM, and tried to get in three times. It was closed. But it’s summer hours, though. Understandable. But, I was desperate for a coffee, and since I have no car, I walked a mile and a half. Again, closed, but he was inside. I knocked. He pointed to his eyes, and then me, telling me to look at the sign. It said closed at 12:30. I looked at my phone and it was 12:33. I was dying for a latte, but who knows, maybe he had a birthday party to go to. And yet, if the roles were reversed, I would have made him a coffee.

He is very polite and has great hospitality, we also enjoyed the conversations we had with him while we are there. To say again the pastries were amazing and made fresh, the next time im in Cali i will definitely be stopping by here again. Been to practically all the coffee shops in the Coachella Valley, so when i found out that theres a new coffee shop i had to go. Hands down they have the best pastry out of all the coffee shops!! The decor is a bit confusing inside with some different pictures, but still gives off a nice atmosphere! I ordered the almond croissant and it was insanely good!! Would recommend to try!!

Absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced by Phillip. I asked him about having a marshmallow coconut latte. I was very excited to try this location being that I live sun Big Bear. I NEVER go out of my way to leave reviews but this is needed. Phillip told me to ‘stop talking’ as I was asking him what type of marshmallow they use. He didn’t answer my question and then continued to SHUSH me. I finally stopped allowing him to disrespect me and I left. I walked back in to ask for his name and his managers name who happened to be an Asian woman sitting in the corner, who then laughed and said ‘No not me’. I said to her ‘Do you really let your workers talk to your customers like this’ she was silent. They both then started laughing. I will be reporting this to the Better Bureau. He completely embarrassed me and then laughed at me when I simply wanted to enjoy a morning coffee. I told him that you do not talk to customers this way. He had no remorse. Do not even waste your time with this company.

This place has AMAZING pastries. The fantastic cappuccino was a bonus. Do yourself a favor and dont wait until the last day of your trip to try RM Coffee, because then you only get to have it once.

The owner is so nice. However, I feel this place is overpriced, unfortunately. I got a small regular drip coffee and a pastry from the case and it was almost $10. Apparently the pastry was $5.75. The pastry did not have a price label in the case. I wish I had known because I would not have bought it at that price. It was not terrible, but it was served cold and did not seem fresh or made in-house.I guess I am used to Koffi which bakes all their own pastries fresh daily and they are huge pastries and muffins for $4. Even at $4 I feel it is a little overpriced, but at least they are very big and the quality is excellent.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.The worker (male) cut us off every time. We asked simply how do you make the coconut latte with marshmallow and he kept talking over yelling at us until we told him to stop and then he started to laugh. I’ve worked for a coffee shop for 4 years and I’d never tell my customers “to be quiet” when they asked for a customization or question about a drink. NEVER COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA BE DISRESPECTED. He was also rude to the previous customer who kindly asked for a pastry with his coffee.When we asked who your manger is, he points at a lady sitting on her computer and she laughed.There will be an OSHA call about this scenario as well as the health standards are not up to policy as he touched his face and nose while making a cup of coffee and then sneezed straight into the cup as he poured the steamed milk. Let alone I also saw cleaning chemicals on the food counter.EDIT RESPONSE: ODD I WOULD KNOW PHILLIPS NAME THEN. A friend told me about this place and my wife and I were so excited to try it. At the entrance is a large sign stating the mask requirement, which is in effect in all of Coachella Valley, and I believe all of California. We went inside and the first thing I noticed was that the employee behind the counter was not wearing a mask. The second thing I noticed was a man placing his order with his mask around his chin. We did not feel safe and were disappointed that this business was not taking the masking requirements seriously. We left and never got to experience this café. It looked good, but we did not appreciate this business’s reluctance to follow the Pandemic protocols that are required to keep their customers and employees safe, the same protocols that they posted at the entrance.Disappointed : (
