I had a very good experience selling my Redlands home with Rita Shaw Broker & Associates. My home sale had some hurdles to clear that most home sales do not and Rita Shaw Broker & Associates handled each hurdle professionally, quickly, and without complaint. They know what they are doing, communicate well, and are not fazed when things do not go perfectly. They just keep moving forward. I would not hesitate to use Rita Shaw Broker & Associates again.

I recently used Joe Shaw and his team on a transaction and couldnt be more pleased with how it worked out. While challenging for everyone - I am remote, the property was in an over-55 HOA community, and the Buyer seemed to be poorly represented - Joe and the team did an excellent job pursuing all opportunities, guiding the buying side when needed, communicating updates, and advising me of CA real estate law (did I mention Im a full-time real estate broker in another state? Perhaps not the easiest client!). I would certainly use Joe and his team again, and suggest you consider them when thinking about your next transaction!

Long time coming on this review. Im a Veteran and wanted to use my VA loan. I reached out to these guys after dealing with someone that Navy Federal had recommended as a VA specialist. This particular female realtor that specializes in Yucaipa. The whole time she kept trying to get me away from Navy Federal and away from my VA loan benefits. Every step of the way she kept saying there was no buying power with the VA. She was trying to get me into an FHA loan with her lender. I was fed up with her and reached out to Joe from Rita Shaw Realtors. He connected me with Zack and within 3 months I was in my home. I knew what I wanted, he worked with me and when the time was right we made our offer. Trust the process Zack knows what hes doing. They specialize in helping Veterans use our VA loan benefits. My husband and I sold two houses just 8 months apart. We used another realtor for the first home sale, and the two experiences were like night and day. Additionally, weve both bought and sold several other homes in our lives (were not spring chickens!) I say with total confidence that Rita Shaw handled this home sale with the ultimate level of professionalism and expertise. The home we sold was a 1948 hand-built adobe home with lots of character, but also lots of unique qualities typical of a home built before current building codes. Rita is not only a broker and realtor, she is an experienced general contractor, and that level of expertise when you are selling a home is enormously reassuring. We give Rita our highest recommendation. We just closed escrow on a house we had listed with her for nearly $2 million and this is our familys fourth transaction with her. We used Ritas services to buy two homes and sell one home. Even though the market was intensely competitive both times we were in the market for a new home (both purchases of primary residences a year apart), we did not need to make offers on multiple properties in either case. This is because Rita helped us understand what a good offer looked like—while *also* keeping in mind our limitations, including our inability to make a cash offer or waive the appraisal contingency, as so many others in the same market were (and still are) doing.Now for our experience with Rita as our selling broker. Spoiler alert: it was awesome! Our home sold for $20k above asking after receiving four different offers. Rita ensured a clean and timely closing, checking in with the lenders of all those who made offers and following up with the broker and lender of the individual whose offer we accepted. The photos of our place that she had taken were stunning, by the way, and definitely helped generate interest in our listing.Theres a reason why Rita is the #1 selling agent in her area: she has an excellent reputation and is extremely well-connected. Needed to make a purchase of a rental property in an area we were not familiar with and came across Rita & Shaw from a Bigger Pockets forum. We were assigned to Anna and initially worried regarding her experience as an agent but she did an amazing job and facilitated a real estate transaction in a seamless fashion that needed to be coordinated on a strict deadline. The transaction was also during a period that was not easy for processing loans. We needed realtor who was experienced with working with houses and property in probate and were suggested Rita. She came up and visited with us right away and gave us suggestions of what we needed to do and even helped us to get people to clear yard junk and clean our house. She was very easy to work with and our house and lot sales went fast and without any problems. Upon advice, we turned to this agency to sell our dead sisters home. Rita suggested ONLY ONE estate sales business, stating, Good friend, will do a great job. The estate sales people did a DISASTER of a job and Rita dropped US because we did not have a positive result with her good friend and I know her husband. I had a lot of damage to the house, a total MESS to clean up, all the unsold stuff just thrown out in the driveway for a week. I found out about it from the HOA!!!! An outside storage lock was just ripped of like animals with damage!!!! There was a blue stain in the hall bedroom that was not there before Ritas friend arrived as well as a huge brown (coffee ?) stain on the rug in the master bedroom. . I saved the best for last: Water left running in the hall bathroom which resulted in a $210 water bill!!!! I strongly suggest Rita give a list of at 2 or 3 estate sales companies to the customers and STOP GIVING BUSINESS TO HER GOOD BUDDIES!!!!!

If you’re looking for a home in Loma Linda/Redlands area, then Rita is the best realtor for you! Not only has she grown up there, but she currently lives in that region, and because of that, she is very familiar with the different neighborhoods and businesses around there. And if she does not know the area, she will make sure to research a little about the neighborhood before presenting a home. She is very responsive to texts and emails, and if we want to look at a house that just came on the market, she will make sure to arrange that you’re one of the first to see it. If she’s out of town or not available, her assistant Will is on call and very responsive and helpful as well. Rita is super sweet and has such a warm and welcoming personality. She also holds a contractor license, which is very useful, because if you’re doing a walkthrough of a home, she can give great renovation suggestions and estimate the costs to fix things here and there around the home. The only thing I would suggest is to go with a different escrow company if possible, because they could have been better, but other than that, she’s great :)
