We are very pleased with Right Way Garage Doors. We were contacted by Right Way Garage doors when we made the inquiry through Costco. Our salesperson Dennis was very polite and informative when explaining all the options that fit our needs. After approving the job and necessary paperwork out new garage door was installed the next week. The installation technician did a nice job and explained the features to us. Ive attached some before and after photos.

Absolutely love how Right Way texts their customers the installers names and updates with accurate time frames. Manny was great! He arrived right on time to remove the old garage door, just before Ramiro arrived to install the new door and motor. Ramiro was incredibly personable and worked tirelessly to ensure the door was properly installed. We received outstanding customer service from all the staff we interacted with.

This place is customer service driven. We had a situation, where one of our garage doors was damaged. We ordered three new doors and had two of them replaced, the other door is on backorder (not a regulation size) RightWay Garage Doors was willing to split the order and get the damaged door replaced within a week. We could not be happier, it motivated us to clean out our garage and guess what? We now have two cars in the garage!

Had an issue with my garage door not closing properly. Dean came out, identified that the springs needed to be replaced. He had excellent service skills, provided a thorough explanation on what required fixing and had the necessary parts at hand to fix the issue. He then performed maintenance and offered a new annual maintenance program that the company just rolled out which I took advantage off. When I mentioned that my daughter had the same garage door he offered to check on her door as well since she lived nearby. She signed up for the annual maintenance program as well. It was a great experience, no hassles just great service. Highly recommend RightWay Garage doors as their product is excellent and they back it up with great service.

A few days later Carlos Gonzalez came by to install a dead bolt locking system, also did a great job. Ive seen a lot of ugly garage doors in Berkeley, Right Way definitely upgraded our garage with a great looking Cedar door.

He followed through and I felt well informed before I made a decision. Chris arrived during the scheduled window and was ready to help out. I could tell he was passionate about doing his job and making the customer feel comfortable. Chris didn’t or hasn’t put any pressure on myself to purchase a garage door. He knew exactly what the job needed and recommended locations of power outlets. Chris gave me a little personal history about himself and why he’s currently in the garage door business. He told me he served in the military for 20 years and some of his hobbies. Right Way garage doors is the way to go. I’ve gotten a ton of quotes from other companies and mostly they are just peddling the same doors sold by large manufactures. These other companies just want the easiest install, no custom sizes etcRight way isn’t like this at all. They worked with me on all the details of my job. The materials were high quality and they worked with custom sizing. The price was super competitive to other installers that were only offering the most basic models from a big manufacturer catalog.Ken the sales person was excellent and showed me all the options in person at my house with a mobile show room.Joshua the installed was prompt, did a great job and left no trace.If you’re considering getting a garage door Right Way is a great choice.

Oh snap!The garage door spring snapped while it was closed, time to find help.I called Right Way for an estimate and was advised that between 12-4 pm a tech will give me an estimate after inspection. Fair enough, because there might be more to it that contributed to the event.The tech arrived within 10-13 minutes after hanging up with Arly. That is fantastic!Justin, Tech Pro from Right Way inspected the issue of our garage door spring and other parts of the garage door tracks and wheels of possible future issues.Justin also informed us about the stress placed on the spring and the factors to considerwhen selecting the appropriate garage door, parts, how often the garage door is used within a day, and type of door, weight of door, and proper care of operational parts and pieces.Talking with Justin during this estimate has been enlightening and a factor in our decision to selecting a company we would give our business to.Justin was honest with us that they are not the cheapest and that he understands if we need to go with another company due to financial reasons.Btw...We received Same Day Service from Justin following getting an estimate.Arly and Justin presented themselves in such a professional manner, friendly, helpful, honest, and exceptional customer service.We selected Right Way based on Justins presentation of transparency and honesty.

We had our garage door installed yesterday by Jason Banks and I’m very happy with his service. Jason performed a clean job and finished installation within his estimated time. There was a peculiar spot in my garage where I built custom shelves, Jason worked around it and fixed the spot with a DYI solution and all worked out at the end. This project went pretty smooth from start to finish. I few days after calling for an appointment, I got scheduled to meet with Ryan Carlson who did a great job at explaining their options. Unlike your usual salesman who is clueless about what’s really relevant to your project, Ryan listened to my constraints and he worked with me on the right garage door for us. Extremely professional. Great office staff, field sales and installers. The field salesman was knowledgeable and was able to guide us through the process so we got what we wanted. The work is extremely clean and they got it done quickly with no mess or disturbance. There was a bit of a mixup on the installation but they took care of it promptly and professionally. Great job from start to finish with custom wood carriage doors for the garage at our daughters house.Trent did a great job as did Ken who we met with initially who walked us through the options.The doors are of very high quality as was the installation but there was a surprise at the end that had not been pointed out through the process.It was made clear that it was up to us to paint the doors, which seems fair; they are pre primed nicely with tape over the windows to make painting easier.The surprise is that we have to caulk all of the individual wood panels inside and out; why this was not applied at the workshop when caulk was applied to the window panes is a mystery but that is the situation. Im hardly an expert at caulking but will do the best I can which wont be of the same level of craftmanship as the door of course.Wed still do it again at this point but be aware.

Back in Nov, my old garage door broke and called few vendors before I landed on Right Way to replace the garage door opener with a new one that they’re selling. I recently had to replace my garage door after the weekend storm. As a Costco member, I first reached out to Costco’s garage door program contact number, and then they connected me with Right Way Garage Door.I liked the speed/responsiveness, the quality of work and the attitude of the team. I will start with the sales person Andrew Sickinger (he nicknamed himself as the Bald Andrew, since they probably have multiple people with the same first name). He was able to explain the situation and the likely path to replace the garage door, before presenting me a proposal. I enjoyed his friendly tone too, and appreciated his suggestions. On the installation day, Mike was the person who came over to lead the job (honestly I don’t know if there might be another person joining later during the day though I only met Mike; I had thought that it would take two people to detach and haul away the old door). Mike was easy to interact with and knowledgeable as well. After the installation, Mike showed me the mostly needed functions with the door and control system. Mike was also so genuine that he let me know that the top panel just installed that day probably needed a simple fix and he submitted the request to their headquarter on my behalf automatically. A couple of business days later the quick job to fix the top panel got done. (But I didn’t get to note the technician’s name. His name may be Manny? Right Way can probably track in your own system to confirm.) It was done rather nicely and efficiently. Now the whole project has been completed. I enjoyed the process and the outcome. In my experience, this company and the team appears to care about their customer and the quality of work.And let me not forget those who were in the office answering my requests for supporting documentation. I am sure that I communicated with Stacia via text messages and emails, and probably one or two others on the phone (I didn’t take notes for the other people’s names). Our garage door sensors were not working. I contaced RightWay on-line and was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The communications were excellent.Devin arrived on time and assessed the problem immediately. He explained what was needed and why it was needed!The wires when originally installed were too short and spliced incorrectly.Devin was very knowledgeable, experienced and thorough in repairing the issue. Once here he assessed my garage door issues, mocked up a couple quotes, explained to me clearly what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and how much it would be. He also gave me a quote for a brand new garage door for comparison. I took a phone call while he started the work and he was done quickly and efficiently without leaving any mess. My 20 yr garage door just quit working, like it didnt even have electricity hooked up. Tried plugging it in to different source, no luck. Called RW Doors and tech Benjamin arrived promptly. Tested the old unit and determined it was just old and worn out with internal issues. Our garage door broke Monday morning, a hinge broke and we had to manually open/close the door. I have heard excellent things about Right Way Doors, so they were my first and only call. Got an appointment for the next morning to analyze the problem—we were prepared to replace the 40-year old door. We choose a plain door which was in stock with Chris Swift’s expert advice. The next afternoon Josh Horton arrived with our new door and opener motor. Josh worked efficiently and quickly to install the door, motor, instruct us on the equipment (some things changed in 40 years), and clean up, all in about 4 hours.
