Rick made the best of a very bad situation. I interviewed several attorneys before selecting one. Rick stood out from the crowd by providing pertinent information right away. He was also very reasonably priced, kept in constant communication and was always reachable. This was my first DUI offense, I was terrified and unsure of what to do. I found Ricks number and am so happy I called him. Since the beginning Rick was understanding and very detailed with what what’s going on with my case. He was able to get charges dropped off my case, he was also able to get me no jail time! I had a very difficult case, because hit 2 parked cars and denied chemical test. I also spent a night in jail. After I contacted Mr Mueller, he was super honest with me and told that most likely I’ll not be able to drive. But, I heard and read a lot of reviews about him and how professional he is. And here we are, he did really impossible, I still can drive with following certain rules. Of course, I was doing everything he told me, a lot of super advices Mr Mueller gave me, which I would never do by myself. I wish nobody ever to have such kind of situation, but we are all human beings and make mistakes. Theres a lot Id like to say about Mr. Mueller, but Ill try to get straight to the point.Im the kind of person who likes to steer away from trouble of any kind. I dont like to look for it, nor find it, but this time it was there. Ive probably gotten only 3 traffic citations total, ever. This one, of course, being, driving under the influence.I dont live in San Diego but was there because a buddy of ours invited me and my wife to attend a family celebration. Like any other good American out there, we enjoy drinking with friends every now and then. After driving a short distance from their place and literarily 100 ft from our destination, I was pulled over for stopping (complete stop), but not waiting 2 seconds at a 4-way stop intersection at 3 a.m. in the morning, where the only car in the area at that time was mine (according to the CHP officer).I got cited, taken to their office, and released shortly after. I was so stressed over the first few weeks because I knew this was going to cost me a lot in many ways. I literally felt so stressed and depressed every day for the first few weeks. I didnt want to think about it, talk about it, nor do anything related to it.I finally decided to look for help only because the court date was approaching soon. I knew that the only way to try and deal with this situation was by hiring a professional.I had once gotten a 68-mph speeding ticket (yes, I was cited for driving 68 mph on the freeway). I had gone to court to fight the case on my own (back then I couldnt afford an attorney) trying to prove that the method used to clock my speed was inaccurate, but learned soon enough that the court and attorneys go hand in hand. You need someone to represent you; otherwise, they will trash all your legitimate evidence and rule against you. True story...So the question was, who could I trust? I had never had to deal with attorneys before other than when I got rear ended one time, and the attorney I was recommended was someone I would never recommend to anyone.I spent hours searching online and watching YouTube videos, looking for results. I was very impressed with Ricks transparency in pricing from our initial phone interview. I spoke to 4 other DUI attorneys but Rick was the only one to disclose that a cost is not mandatory for a separate DMV hearing. All other attorneys wanted to charge an additional $1,000 for a DMV hearing. Once hired he was extremely timely with all communication throughout the entire legal process. As a military member a DUI runs its course on the military side which is its own burden to deal with. I cannot imagine the amount of stress I would have to deal with going through the civilian and military side of things. Rick took care of everything civilian side for me and even granted me a letter for my command regarding my DUI. Im not from around here, so whilst researching for a competent DUI attorney, I can confidently say that Rick, without hesitation, began to send resources, examples and information regarding such DUIs in CA with the sheer willingness and care to help. The most recent DUI case being my third in which the prosecutor wanted minimum 120-270 days of custody. There’s not much more you can say about Rick then he’s the best in the field, but I’ll try anyways.I was freaking out because it had been ten years and six days since my first DUI arrest. I didn’t know who to call so I tried the names and number off billboards and google searches. Where to start! Amazing work and I am SO glad that I read the other reviews and trusted them. I’ll start with my BAC: 0.36 which is an insanely high blood alcohol, and it was my 2nd DUI. Also, they had gas station footage of me, body cam footage of me and I had to be sedated at the hospital for being belligerent. I was too drunk to take to jail!Attorney Rick Mueller is professional, prompt and caring at the same time. A HUGE bonus for me was that he appeared for me at every court date, which meant I did not have to request time off to go to court dates & potentially lose my job. I couldn’t think of how else to thank him & then I remembered reading his many positive reviews just a few days after my DUI. The headspace after a DUI is a hard place to make a decision from, but I was able to talk through all my concerns with him and am exceedingly glad that I hired him. I am writing a heartfelt review with gratitude in the hopes that it reaches you on your journey down this road. Mr. Mueller is amazing, and I could not recommend him more.
