Cannot stress how great an experience I had. We were welcomed with open arms into the shop to an expansive collection. There was a little bit of every part of video game history just hanging out for you to look through. We landed on a GameCube game and a NintendoPower mag, but had so much fun just talking about general mutual game love and pop culture. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get gifts for a video game lover, or expand on a already built collection!
Ran across Retro Shack due to a Google search. I am so glad I did because I found it what I was looking for and more. I will definitely be back soon. Sean was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices were very good. I am a very happy customer.

Sean is dope. Ended up talking about favorite video games for awhile. Sold games at a fair price. There’s so much he has. You have to see for yourself. Almost mind boggling. Come prepared because I ended up looking at Genesis/Super Nintendo games when I originally came for GameCube games and somehow bought and left with a custom GameBoy Color lol
I called Sean on a whim and he was very accommodating on letting me check out his games just 30 - 40 minutes after the call. This isnt your typical retro game store; Seans got a ton of retro stuff in a big room where you get to spelunk and look for treasures. Shelves and boxes full of NES/SNES/GB/GBA/GCN/Wii/PS1/PS2/PS3/XB/XB360/etc.! I even came across a box of Master Systems; didnt expect that! Its unorthodox but a lot of fun. I snagged a couple NES and SNES games (as well as Tony Hawks Pro Skater for PS1) and he gave me a great deal on them. I also greatly appreciate his fantastic retro game poster and retail stand collection. Those arent for sale but theyre a lot of fun to look at (great photo ops).

Super nice guy with a really cool set up. Has more games than I ever thought I would see at one time in my life. Really good pricing, especially if you’re just trying to get into game collecting, the environment feels like you’re in an old friends garage just picking out some games so it doesn’t have some of the stresses that can come from bigger stores. Retro Shack is a great resource to classic gaming enthusiasts in the Santa Rosa area! I came by to pick out some things for my new Wii but took a minute to look around at the rest of the inventory. There is an impressive selection of games and accessories for all your major consoles! The ambiance feels great with wall to wall games and gaming memorabilia. Sean and I sat around chatting games for nearly an hour and he couldn’t be a nicer guy.

New favorite reseller! I inquired about a PS3 controller and Sean was able to meet same day in triple digit weather. He has AC for his games/the Retro Shack, but not in his house. He really KNOWS his games; has a variety that will make your gaming heart go pitter patter; will find you the most rare games if requested; prices are on point (muuuuuch better than eBay) and customer is treated with dignity and respect!👌Ill absolutely buy from the Retro Shack again!! Cant say nothing but good about it, and Ive been shopping there since 2017-2018. So.. try it.
