I came here with my husband and kids, we had a great experience. They upgraded our room to the penthouse, which was really awesome since we have 3 kids. We had plenty of room, beds were comfortable, it was very clean, bathrooms were nice. The kids loved the pool. It was heated and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good. Better than most buffets and they changed the menu each morning.My only complaint is that the room did have a very very strong smell. I don’t think it’s a smell you can get out unless you replace the carpet and paint the walls. It smells old and musty. We opened all the windows to air it out and that helped, but the smell never went away. I would still highly recommend it.The location is great because there is a target and Ralph’s walking distance. Beach is a very short drive and into the downtown area is close by.Staff was very friendly.

The rooms were enjoyable since they were very spacious but the only problem was I kept finding little insects…The service on the other hand wasn’t great at all the white lady at the front desk kept giving myself and child attitudeThe location is great I loved it since it was by the beach, overall my stay here was a 1 star.

The rooms are nice and they service is great but we were infested with bugs and we ended up leaving with ants in our suitcases we had to dump out and repackThey were on the bed, counter, bathroom sinks, and luggage’s. We saw that others had this problem I don’t think they clean deep enough

Room is spacious and clean. Kitchen has items you need to prep basic meals. There is considerable noise from upstairs if you are in a ground level unit. Beds are uncomfortably firm. Staff is friendly and efficient. breakfast is included but I didnt try it. Target is very nearby for supplies and there are lots of good places to eat in the area.

This Residence Inn can only be spotted by means of a large sign on Sepulveda Boulevard next to a car dealership. An entranceway leads to the hotel complex, but access to it from the highway has some restrictions depending on the time of day. Ingress and egress northbound is easy, but southbound may require u-turns.The main building is always open and staffed by friendly and helpful people. The building includes a lobby, restrooms, laundry facilities, a marketplace selling snacks and drinks, and a swimming pool. A complimentary buffet breakfast is available here to all patrons.My wife and I stayed in a first floor (ground level) apartment. The suite was clean and the beds reasonably comfortable. The kitchen area features a small stove top, a microwave oven, a toaster, a dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator, and all the pots, pans, utensils and eating stuff you would need.The bathroom was clean, with the toilet and shower separated from the twin sinks. The bathroom has a convenient night light.The main area has two TVs. One of these appeared to have suffered an impact of some kind, with a dark spot in the corner and some colored lines running down from the top. Both TVs can operate from the same remote, which can mean one TV turns on when you are trying to switch off the other.Noise can be a problem. You can clearly hear ALL the activities of people staying in the room above, and I mean ALL. But most annoying of all is the constant radio chatter, rolling of laundry bins, and yelling across from building to building of the room cleaning staff. As soon as they start work, the noise as they call to one another is loud and incessant. Also loud is the garbage truck, although this is brief.Despite all that, if you need to stay in the Manhattan Beach area and want a room with more amenities than a regular hotel room, I recommend this Residence Inn. I can certainly foresee coming here again in the future.

This kind of hotel is the way to go in my opinion, it feels more like a house than a hotel room. The service was superb, you could see all these cleaning teams and their supervisors all around, the price covered one car, but I have four, but they waived the extra charges, very quiet, complementary breakfast was a bonus, close to everything you need, pet friendly, small kitchen. It was a great experience, I definitely would recommend it.

Pros: Great location, very friendly staffCons: Disgusting carpet/floors that will leave the bottoms of your feet blackHaving stayed at this location several times, Im not sure what is going on with the housekeeping. Some of the rooms are in great shape and others are very tired, worn and simply dirty. My last stay resulted in the bottoms of my feet being turned black when walking on the carpet. I requested a room change which I was given but had the same issue in the new room. Not sure if they are cleaning the carpets at all or whatever they are using is absolutely not working. As such, I will no longer be staying at this hotel.

Checks all the boxes for a family stay except housekeeping, which is still challenged. Bring flip flops for walking on the floors and Greenworks cleaning spray. Wipe down all touchable surfaces when you arrive. Towels are changed and beds made on the third day but there is no cleaning of the kitchen area or bathrooms for six days, which is unacceptable to me. I will come again because its a great location and the staff are wonderful. But I will definitely be bringing cleaning supplies and doing my own cleaning. Would happily pay for optional daily cleaning. How about it Marriott? Heads up to hotel management on stocking rooms. There was no bottom sheet for the pull out bed and only one pillow. No tea towels on arrival. No toilet paper, dishwasher tabs or dish soap restocking on third day. Thats just sloppy.

The location was amazing!! 1 mile to the beach and close to shops and restaurants! Our room was a good size and clean! The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of variety. The beds could have been more comfortable and the walls seemed a little thin—we could hear when our neighbor was running water. Overall, it was great and we will definitely stay again!

We had a very pleasant stay. Front desk got us checked in fast and assigned us a suite in a very quiet area. It definitely pays off to be a Bonvoy platinum member.The suite was very well equipped and everything in the room worked as expected. We had no issues whatsoever. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of options. The staff responsible for the kitchen was amazing.

I’m so sad to go! I stayed here for 3 weeks and had such a great experience with everyone. The hotel is kept clean at all times and there’s actually house keeping finally! Been to other hotels that don’t offer house keeping but charge you full price for a room. The manager Michael was absolutely amazing, he was so helpful and always accommodated us. Their house keeping staff is super sweet and always did a great job. Front desk staff Kimberly was very helpful too! Loved the area its safe and right next to the beach. Can’t wait to come back in the future.

Nice hotel and a shirt distance to the beach and stores. Parking was less expensive than other places. Room was clean, but had a really weird smell. The bathroom door is a sliding door which was inconvenient. And the lights are on timers so if theres no movement they turn off, so the lights went out when I was in the shower. Employees were super nice, and the breakfasts were good, and the ladies working the breakfast area were SO friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE - FLEA ISSUEMy family and I stayed here the past week, and 3 out of 4 of us are suffering from flea bites all over our ankles and legs. We first started experiencing small red bumps and itchiness a couple days into our stay here and originally thought they were mosquito bites. However, towards the end of our stay, the bumps increased in numbers and started to form clusters around our ankles -- exactly like flea bites. We only stayed within the city and did not go anywhere near where we would be bitten by fleas, and the only members that were affected were those that sat/slept on the couch, which leads us to believe the couch was flea-infested. At this point, we are very concerned for our health, as some of our bites have formed blisters and we are also aware that fleas can transmit diseases. When we reached out to the front desk, they only filled out and returned to us an incident form without a proper apology or additional ways to address this issue. We further contacted the Marriott customer service and the disinterested representative said if the hotel was contacted and an incident form was filled out, that is the most they can do at this point. Our family has always been a loyal member of Marriott and Residence Inns, as we expect them to be family-friendly and clean, but this stay was a massive disappointment to say the least. In both housekeeping and customer service aspects, I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel and Marriott.

Cons: not the best location and not easy to access especially when you’re not from the area.Pros:The staff are amazing! Haven’t seen customer service like this in years. The breakfast was ok (hard to mess up breakfast) but the service in the lobby during breakfast is better than a restaurant. The whole place is well set up and easy to navigate. The rooms are really nice and updated. I leave here feeling like I got the better end of the deal.

Had the penthouse suite with two bedrooms on two floors, a kitchen and living room. There was a strange smell during the first two nights, staff said it was from the detergent, after that little complaint smell went away. Kitchen was okay to have cook some dinner, you don´t really need more during a holiday stay in my opinion. Breakfast was okay, typical continental breakfast. Price and location was good after all.

We stayed here during our visit to LA. We enjoyed the stay.Service was very good and you felt very welcomed. He asked us if we wanted any recommendations for any restaurants since we hadnt eaten anything. Lobby was clean.We got a room further away from the entrance which was nice since it was quieter. When the door was opened a smell hit us. Felt like the room had not been used for a while. We also got the impression that housekeeping had not done their job properly due to the carpet being dirty. The room itself was good, nice to be able to cook your own food. Living room felt a tiny bit empty. Sofa was more or less useless since its cushions where overused and therefore super soft. The bed in it was ok.Breakfast was good. Warm food varied, burrito, hashbrowns pieces, sausage, egg frittata, cheese and egg bagel. Scrambled eggs was always an option. Yoghurt, chocolate milk, juice, coffe and soft drinks was available. The staff that came to the table to take away dishes was super nice, always asked if everything was okay.Location is very off and you almost need to travel in a car to get anywhere. Not a problem for us since we had a rental car.Overall a pleasant experience the four nights we stayed. Nice to stay out of the super busy areas of LA.

This hotel is just minutes away from the beach. There you can spend time at the Pier or the several nice restaurants in the area. The staff here are kind, friendly, and efficient. The rooms and facilities are clean and well-maintained. The pool are is great, with fire pits and BBQ grills. You cant go wrong booking this hotel.

First, I got a car dent/paint scratch at this place.I have started inspecting my car every time before getting in because I recently got a scratch from an unknown source, and I had to install a dashcam.Initially, I have my dashcam running constantly, but due to a need to recharge the power bank, I ended up leaving my car parked overnight without it active. I assumed the parking lot would be secure, and nothing would occur. However, on my 6th day at this Residence Inn, I noticed a new dent/paint scratch on the back of my car. This incident must have taken place that night, as there was no damage the day before. It doesnt appear to be a result of a car collision; rather it seems more like a housekeeping cart or wheelchair accidentally bumped into my car near the curb ramp. I had parked my car right in front of my room, where the curb ramp is located.Reflecting on this, it seems unusual to have a parking spot where the ramp can be blocked by a parked car when a wheelchair or cart needs access. Moving forward, I will avoid parking in areas that could block the ramp, even if the space is designated for parking. Please consider fixing/making some adjustments to prevent such accidents happening again.

The couch arm was broken in our room. Erica’s hospitality is phenomenal she went the extra mile to ensure me and my family’s experience here in California wasn’t a bad one. ERICA was one of the only employees out of 3 front desk clerks (ADAM VERY RUDE CLERK) to actually help us and try and accommodate our family. Overall this hotel is nice but it was the hospitality from Erica that spoke volumes to me. If it wasn’t for ERICA this whole experience with this hotel would have been awful. The rooms are very nice, the property is clean and well managed. I traveled with my wife for business and stayed a week in one of the studios. We found the kitchen functional, 2 burners, microwave and a full sized refrigerator, it was great. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place with a kitchen.

1. Great location!! Very convenient drive (5-10min) to amazing beaches up and down the South Bay (Manhattan, Redondo, Hermosa).2. Hotel staff are trying their best but the housekeeping service is not great. We requested a 2pm checkin online and didn’t get the room until after 4pm. Others were waiting as well and unhappy. The reason was bc the housekeeping staff weren’t done yet. When we got into the room there was no body wash in the dispenser (the bottle was filled with water but no soap). When we asked for a refill of the soap they delivered small bars of hand soap.3. Breakfast is fine. They serve preheated breakfast sandwiches (think Jimmy Dean) plus fruit and yogurt etc. they have fruit infused water every day which is great.Overall, I enjoyed the great location (near Target, restaurants, beach) and may stay here again but with lower expectations due to the aged rooms and poor housekeeping.

The staff is the best part about this hotel full stop. They arefm km exceptional. It doesnt matter what the do, it matters to the guest and their need.The pool is second in best thing because at only 5 high kids and adults can enjoying daily and year round. Theres plenty of seating all around it to work, BBQ and make smores.The breakfast was better than most and in its own way becomes the social hub of the hotel.The location is one of the best in the beach communities. Its one business away from Target and 1.5 miles from beach.I wouldve loved to have an exit interview and shared a few things with the property manager about this but doing this is the next best thing!!

I started out very frustrated with this reservation because I had a gift card to pay for part of my stay and I kept being told different info about if I could/could not use it. It was finally deducted after a bit of an argument. Other than that check in and check out was incredibly smooth. The front desk even called shortly after we got to our room to be sure everything was ok with the room and to tell me the gift card was being deducted appropriately. The bi-level suite I booked was exactly what we needed. 2 bedroom/2 bathroom & full kitchen with a full fridge... it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Right next to a Target to stock up what was needed. In & Out Burger not too far. And close to beaches and restaurants too. We were in town for an event at SOFI and that drive wasnt too bad either (about 20 min in traffic) Parking was $18 a night which was cheaper than anywhere else and while the lot was pretty full on the weekend, we were able to find a spot every day. The property is fairly quiet, might be because theres a noise ordinance in place after 9 that could cost you $1000. The drive to LA is pretty quick also. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to LA.

Such a great experience! The staff went out of their way to make sure my two separate bookings were put together smoothly so we didnt have to switch rooms. I love that they are so pet friendly! This really helped us while we had to be out of our house during fumigation. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, silverware, and pots to cook with so it is very easy to being food in and cook meals. The staff was quick to help us with extra pillows or to answer any questions we had. Should we ever need to stay away from home again with our cat, this will be the first place we will call!!!

We stayed a week and it’s a great place! Very private and friendly staff. The breakfast is a nice bonus, and the pool and fire pits are definitely a vibe at night! Very spacious, I wish the views were better, but it’s not bad! The walk to Manhattan beach is about 25 minutes, but not bad.

Great stay! Hotel was clean. Staff was helpful. Great location by target and we walked downtown / Manhattan beach everyday. I highly recommend for families because the area is safe and doesn’t have homeless many other areas do. We had 2 bed and pull out. Once the pullout was opened the room turned into a big bed, but we got used to it as we were there to sleep primarily!

Location is great. Close to the beach and restaurants. Units are lovely . Staff is very kind ( Brenda is wonderful ) as long as you don’t come across Adam who totally ruined our stay . At check in, he shouted in front of the other customers that our card didn’t work, ( it was only because our bank needed a security code to authorize the transaction) the days after he kept calling us in our room to solve the problem which was already solved from the beginning ( the amount of our stay had been charged already ) We felt like thieves not to mention the stress to be evicted.

Property looks very nice. The lady at the front who helped me had horrible customer service skills. It was extremely frustrating. She was rude and she also neglected to tell me that there was a 500 deposit. Even though I came and I was early for Check in so I went and killed time around the area. After having been to the front desk once to see if my room was available and then calling again to see if anything was ready yet which they told me it would be ready in 30 mins and then when I got there to check in again the lady at the front told me nothing was ready. I told her I spoke to someone who told me it would be ready and then she got on the computer and said that something was ready. So she proceeded to get my information and then she told me there was a 500 deposit. Which it didn’t say anywhere when making the reservation. I know almost all places take a deposit but 500 seemed a bit excessive. And I asked her if it all had to be on one card. And she very rudely and impatiently told me it had to be on one card. So I ended up not even staying there. And they’re probably going to charge my card for the cost of the first night since there was no cancellation policy and had I known that I would have made different Arrangements. But needless to say with the staff that works in the front I will probably never attempt to stay here again. And I was very much looking forward to it. Now I think you could find somewhere much nicer with a more pleasant staff for probably a better price. I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking to get any sort of good customer service for a fair price.

You also have to pay $20 for daily parking but there was never any spots available close to my room. Ok breakfast but seemed they had better options on the weekend.

We recently stayed at this property with our Beach Volleyball Club ( Team One Volleyball, Chicago ). We were traveling with 14 of our players and 2 coaches. Donna was awesome to deal with for our group booking. She communicated quickly and clearly. This property was recently remodeled and was in beautiful condition. Each of the rooms were nicely done and we certainly appreciated having our own full kitchen and living room. This unique property is in a perfect location, near most of the stores and right down the street from the downtown area. Property is kind of secluded from the street noise so that was really nice at night. They also provided us with a nice buffet style full breakfast, this worked out really well for our hungry athletes! The part that I was most impressed with was the staff. Everyone was overly friendly and really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. You guys are doing a fantastic job guys. Donna, thank you again for making our stay so warm and comforting!

Very nice place. Considering the location just blocks from the beach I feel it is a great bargain. Newly renovated rooms. Would definitely recommend!!! Staff at check-in (Jordan) very helpful and nice!! This place is located next to Target right next door so you can shop for items. Large fridge, stove in the unit so you can stock up or even cook if thats what your heart desires. Lots of trendy eateries to try around here too.

The maids were wonderful, and one guy at the front desk was amazing. But the other staff and managers there have issues. They’ll knock on your door at 3am saying they have “complaints” but they won’t give you an actual reason. They called us at 1pm and told us we had to leave in 30 min, they gave us no reason except “there was a complaint”. And they refused to give a refund cause we stayed past 12pm when they didn’t tell us to leave until 1pm. They showed a huge amount of disrespect for no reason but to be mean. I’m not sure what made them not like us but it seems they have a power complex and like to show that power to the guests they don’t like. The maids at top class though, so sweet and work very hard. Good quality rooms but the front desk managers like to run the place like a prison.

My family and I have been coming to this place for years and it was always really nice and cozy. It really does have good amenities and great breakfast buffet. Though it’s switched owners and they have changed a lot of things. They’re prices are a little higher, they now charge for parking, and they have changed the decor to be a cold contemporary that isn’t very homey and warm. They’ve also taken out all the ovens in the rooms and only now have small electric cooktops. They also took out the hot tub that used to be there and only have a pool. It’s still a decent place to stay but the owners now are more business oriented rather than family oriented.

Superb on service. The amenities are super nice, well kept. I really love the cottage-style feel of the place yet every unit is modern, sleek and functional. Its great for families!!!Free continental breakfast is a plus!!!Just not a 10-15 minute walk to the beach as weve been told. It was 6 blocks away, inconvenient, especially if you got two toddlers, a 6months baby in the tummy and an impatient partner! 😅just drive and park. If it were not for Ericka, I would have canceled my ENTIRE stay. I made an initial call requesting an early check-in and was advised they didn’t have rooms available for early check-in and to come at 4 PM (guaranteed check-in). I called back 15 minutes after 4pm to confirm amenities for our room and was advised by Alex that because loyalty members requested late check-outs; our SUITE was not available for check in at the guarantee check in time of 4 PM. I absolutely loved the Penthouse Suite. Everything was nice, clean, and very peaceful. Upon check-in I advise the individual at the front desk that I would be checking out on my birthday. I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite for a 3 night stay, upon arriving close to midnight after a long flight we were told there was a water leak and our party of 4 would be staying in 1 king studio with a sofa bed. No notification given ahead of our arrival so we could have a chance to cancel and book somewhere else, no discount given for the inconvenience. The manager told us they would have the originally booked 2 bedroom suite for us the next night, but called around noon the next day to tell us they would not. I replied we would be staying somewhere else for the remaining 2 nights and to refund my card. The staff said they did not have the authority to do so and they would leave a note for the individual (forgot their title) that could. After calling multiple times the next week and getting a similar response, I had to dispute the charge on my card in order for them to refund the 2 nights I did not even stay there. I understand they can not control a water leak, but the staff and managers provided extremely poor customer service and made our family vacation a stressful experience. So much so I will never stay at a residence inn again and will discourage all friends and family from doing so as well.

We bought two suites for three nights for four of us and he told me that there is nothing he could do after three nights of not being able to use the pool area because for all three nights, it was full of people and if I have a camera I could proved to him that I caught them inviting outside guest and having a pool party smoking weeds and drinking by the pool. The most unbelievable thing was the front desk guy told me that he believed all the guests by the pool was hotel guests because they bought two rooms!!! I don’t believe that 20 people can fit in two rooms! One of them legit tell the outside people to just walk in from the parking lot because there was no fence. The parking spots were all taken by their “guests”. I am really speechless with the front desk guy’s service. It wasnt a very fancy place, but I was honestly expecting the bathtub to be even a little bit dirty and it was absolutely spotless. Residence Inn seems to be a series of townhouses converted into a hotel. That feature makes them perfect for a short stay. Its like a community on to itself. The kitchen has a microwave, sink and refrigerator; the Target that is in walking distance has everything you will needed from groceries to suntan lotion. Oh yeah, the kitchen has plates and utensils also. Besides the beach, the Getty Center, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Griffith Observatory and much more are less than an hour away. There is also a pool. The area is very quiet and safe. Unlike the rest of southern California, Manhattan Beach does not have the severe homeless problem.

On the negative side, the rooms were a little shabby with uneven temps in different areas (one part warm and stuffy, the other very cold); housekeeping was careless with our things (taking a drying swimsuit from our room); and the front desk practically accused me of lying about the missing swimsuit. I had to go buy a new swimsuit, which is not exactly the kind of fun (and extra cost) I wanted to have on a vacation. Your better bet is to head a few miles north to the Residence Inn in El Segundo. Wonderful hotel! Has a nice pool and gym. The hotel rooms are actually quite big for its price in Redondo Beach. Right next to Target so its convenient for a long stay at this hotel. Theres only one bed though. The bathroom is really nice, and the fridge is bigger than most other hotels have such as Redondo Beach Hotel Hilton Tapestry. The TV is twistable and you can face it any way, and Netflix, ShowTime, and some other platform is available. I had to sign in for Netflix, not sure about the others. But at first, it was all for free- so a bit confusing. Set up like townhouses btw. You can bring your pets which is good. Theres this whole thing about how you cant party and that theyll look around at 3am, but I dont think that happened with me and around our miny townhouse. 4 rooms per little looking house. Theres no dinner served here, at least for right now. Overall, its a relaxing, pretty, a big hotel! Loved it :))

I would not recommend this property to a homeless person! I was racially profiled and discriminated against from the time I checked. It’s really a shame to be profiled and treated low by the staff here. I was accused of doing something that I didn’t do. The front desk team (supervisors; Brenda and Adam, Paul; director of operations, Alex and Erica; agents all made a huge mistake and until they realized they were wrong, I was treated horrible . The general manager Jordan has yet to appear on property. I am completely embarrassed by what they caused me during my stay. Erica and Adam harassed and and stalked my guest, vehicle and room . I was wrongfully kicked off property. The workers are allowed to smoke on their breaks but guest can’t do the same. I didn’t feel comfortable at all. I did not trust Adam nor Erica. I never smoked on property yet I was being discriminated against as if I was because I’m BLACK with dreads. The front desk kept pinning false evidence on me including : making up documents with someone else’s signature and room number as well as a picture of a black guy eating a slim Jim. Save yourself the troubles and don’t stay here. This is harassment at its best.

I’ve been to this area several times and have to say this hotel is one of the best options in terms of proximity to LAX and the beach. The neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of restaurants, shops & grocery stores within walking distance. The beach is a little under a mile and a fairly easy walk downhill. You may want to plan on catching an Uber coming back since it is mostly uphill. If you use the “ride-share” option, it shouldn’t cost more than 3-$4.The staff is very attentive and the grounds are kept up nice. As Marriott gold member they usually upgrade me to a two bedroom, two bathroom here, which it honestly feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Rooms are large, updated and clean, the included breakfast is good & fitness room is more than adequate. The pool area looks nice, although I’ve never used it. There is a happy hour Mon-Wed night and its great for grabbing a drink or two and appetizers.I’d definitely recommend staying here over the hotels closer to LAX mainly because the location is much better and it’s quiet. An Uber /Lyft will run $10-14 to/ from LAX and the drive takes anywhere from 10-25min depending on traffic (it’s about 4 miles). On the weekends it shouldn’t be more than 15 minutes.For what it’s worth, I prefer Manhattan Beach over Venice and Santa Monica. I find it more laid back and relaxing.

The rooms were really nice but the front desk was empty when we arrived we were Tired and us and 3 other groups had to wait around 30 min for someone to come out to get us our rooms. Security was there and also looked for the employee but couldnt find them. Everything else from our stay was wonderful!

Very similar to a typical Residence inn in California. Pods of 2 rooms. Place was clean and maintained. I had the penthouse which is a 2 room, 1 bed up in loft, suite. Very big and roomy. Social event was good with a nice offering of beverages. Breakfast was typical.

So we stayed two nights.. had to pay $15 a night for parking.. rip off .. when tried to park nothing was open close to my room.. The parking spots are very close, so when u park by other people they hit your door or u hit theirs. There is a noise policy but my upstairs had some kids so lil noisy to be up stairs...lastly Cockroaches in the dishwasher and kitchen floors.. disappointed 😞

As a frequent client and Platinum member, was quite disappointed that they were unable or unwilling to upgrade my most recent stay, while the property seems to only be a little over half to about 70% occupied, as evidenced by the cars parked nightly. On previous stays, one could not find parking at the property.Their internet sucks, so have had to leave the property for a coffee shop to get work done. This is unacceptable.While Matt and crew are apologetic, dont plan on telecommuting from this property. The location is great,but will have to find another Bonvoy property for monthly visits.

We survived, but honestly, that was the dirtiest Marriott room I’ve encountered in 18 years of travel. I’ve stayed over 1000 nights in Marriott rooms over the years and this one was not up to Marriott’s standards.Clearly visible stains on the chairs and pull out sofa. Towels had stains too. Drain on shower in lower level was very slow. Room had a cigarette burn on the lamp in living room and cigarette butts stacked on the box outside the front door at eye level.Looks like it is time to invest in refreshing your rooms.

They are currently (8/19/2018) doing a complete reconstructive remodel. They are staying open through the whole process so things like the pool and BBQ area have been closed or moved to temporary places. The buildings that are nearing completion look awesome, comparatively speaking, and I would imagine its going to be a great place to stay as theyre done.

The entire complex needs a facelift and rearrange the layout amenities. A Target store is next door and beach 20 minutes on foot. Bikes for rent $30 all day too pricey. Parking $9 a day should be complementary to elite members. Overall a decent hotel for a night or two.

I you like horrific traffic this is the place for you. The only open exit/entrance is off the often gridlocked Sepulvida Avenue. The business center is a joke, I wasted over a half-hour trying to get even a BARELY legible map to print from their business center computer. I asked the manager for help and his brilliant suggestion was to try printing from a different website. The room and breakfast are actually tolerable, though when I got here they had just cleaned the carpets and they were so wet that you had to wear shoes in the room. Definitely, extremely disappointed!!!!

This place is in renovation I entered into the new room that was renovated I had a ice problem in the frigerator I had a dishwasher problem will not run I also had two TVs one TV worked the other one did not . Maintenance came to fix the dishwasher dishwasher worked but flooded the kitchen. I called the service desk again telephone cord was missing from telephone so I had to call on my cell phone did have any face towels and at that point I asked to be put in another room he told me they were full and hell give me rewards points that made me very upset then he said he will discount for $10 off I told him hes crazy I would love to speak to the manager the manager never called at that point I requested to be in another room they put me in another room at the end of the day my bill came up to $341 that to me is called rip off

Location is not the most charming one, but downtown Manhattan Beach is just a quick drive away, with very nice restaurants and the beautiful pier. Stayed in a 2 room suite. It was great but it did have a musty smell in it. Pool was small and we had to pay for parking, but it was close to the beach and marina.
