We were a business client of Republic services, address of 450 W Apra St, Compton, CA 90220. I personally closed our trash pick up service on 11/27/23 because we left the building. Republic Services, however, continued billing and our accountant mistakenly paid the invoices to the tune of around $7k in erroneous billing. I requested a refund around 1/8/24. It is now 3/29/24 and no one at Republic can confirm if our refund check is even in the mail. I have called Republic approximately 30 times in total, by the way. Various representatives have promised resolution and a CALL BACK, but NO ONE CALLS BACK. This company is, Im sorry, deeply, deeply inept with basic processes. I do not recommend ANY company use Republic Services.

Please remove this location for public dump. This location is closed for all public. Confuses and waste general contractor time.

OMG at this price $145+, go else where! Any public dump sites that charges outrageous prices was already a warning sign. CWS nearby in Gardena only took concretes construction debris, this was the only option with UHual cargo van almost full of household junks to dispose. The dump site was inside a huge high ceiling building, a staff drove an excavator pushing piles of trash around, no worker except at entrance to direct traffic. The odors was horrifying due to nauseous ghastly horrid sights that sunglasses is required! Do not recommend, run away from this facility!!

Sign by entrance says not open to the public but this location is listed on multiple places as a place to drop off mattresses

It’s amazing how many people review this business and the company responses aren’t even relevant100% the worst public facing company I’ve ever dealt with. You certainly can’t get anyone to pick up the phone or call you back.Everyone just wants to know if the public can dump there and if so when and how much does it cost.Your website has zero information around if the public can dump there but puts a lot of emphasis on holiday services.

Theyre the only available trash service at my address, but theyre terrible. Its been almost a month since I moved into my new place and they still have not provided me trash bins. Theyve charged me twice for setting up my account and over the past 3 weeks Ive called like 10 times and theyve changed their excuse for not delivering bins every single time. First it was because I hadnt paid, then it was because the driver couldnt find the house?, then it was because I hadnt paid again, and now theyre telling me theyre out of bins?! Absolutely terrible.

I have had an appliance on the curb for a week because their telephone lines have been busy for that long. If you cant answer the phone, give us an email address or something!Update: I have had nothing but polite, professional treatment from RS representatives, but the collection service is atrocious. Missed pickups, double bills... they even took the whole trash bin with no explanation or replacement for over a week, during which I had to pile up bags of trash on my porch. The schedule they post shows Tuesday for all my collection, but the truck only comes on Wednesday. Terrible internal organization and unreliability.
